Experiencia fantástica: Finally getting help for my pain. I love all the staff here. Just book an appt. You will not be sorry.
Experiencia negativa: Every time I come here for an appointment, front desk personnel are rude. The staff was complaining in the open how patients didn’t fill out forms online because they didn’t receive it. Immediately after the statement was made from another employee, a woman behind the desk with a horrible Temu wig said that the patients are liars! I hate coming here!
Experiencia fantástica: I have so much to say about this clinic! I love the staff first off. They are very welcoming, Xavier, Bernadette, Syndei. They call you by name and that makes me feel like family! Very thorough and polite with everything. They make sure to reach out for follow up appointments and to check up on you after a procedure. My provider, Dr. Pregram is AMAZING! I wouldn’t ask for another physician if they paid me! They can take that to any bank! I am truly blessed to have chosen a wonderful clinic with such incredible people! I love my Staff at the Clear Creek Clinic!

Experiencia negativa: Arrived for my first appointment to the rudest office worker I have ever met. No kind greeting or a smile, as she checked me in for the appointment she acted like I was a nuisance or an obstacle to doing her job. She demanded $85. (My $50 copay & 35 drug screening that I am forced to take & pay for) This is a lot of money. I can't give $85 to someone who couldn't be bothered to say "good morning" and give a smile. And I won't do so every month for the duration of my treatment. It was not the right pain clinic for me, so I walked out & left. The office manager & physicians should fire her because she is not fit for the job; Especially when there are those like myself fighting tooth & nail for decent employment. It ridiculous in this day & age of addiction and access to street drugs that a pain clinic would be so rude and think a patient will keep giving them what little money they have. Fire her, and hire me. I'll do it better. -Signed, A disabled paramedic who deserves to be treated with dignity.

Experiencia negativa: The most Unprofessional and incompetent bunch I have ever met. I have worked in the Health Industry for years, and the level of ignorance and lack of accountability is ASTOUNDING! We drove 3.5 hours from Houston for my Mother in Law’s surgery that they told us was scheduled for 08:45 but she had to be here by 08:15 for check in and prep. They wrote it on PAPER!!! We get here, there are “system issues” which another patient replied with “what a shocker!”and the Nurse, Rebecca, came out and said that her surgery was scheduled for 09:45. Why did they call several times and insisted she MUST be here by 08:15 then??? Not to mention they never called and told us that she had to pay $300.00 to fix a mistake they made 5 years ago. The Medical Licensure of this place needs to be reviewed and revoked! When My Mother in Law got in the car, she told us the nurse who has already been named took off her gloves and through them right past her face into the trash can and was extremely rough when placing her in the wheelchair. I will not say what my Mom called her, but it was colorful, and she is a Christian woman who does not curse. Their mistake was they did not realize I am an RN, and my Mother in Law is a Retired LVN. We know Medical procedures and processes. As I said before. Medical Licensing needs to be reviewed and revoked.

Experiencia negativa: I loved APC for years. I have been going to them since 2021. My original doctor left unfortunately and is practicing elsewhere. I moved, got a “more convenient “ location/doctor to my new home. He doesn’t seem to care for my anxiety of needles or “light sedation “ injection pain. Some of office staff, most nurses/CNA’s and LNP’s on the other hand are amazing . I have had 1 issue after another at the new Location regarding no care for my anxiety and depression to injections pain with this “LIGHT” sedation …I hope this reaches the top as I need help with my pain and a doctor that truly understands me and my issues like I had once before... Since I have been going to them for quite some time, I know faces and names those that are locals and Veterans of those who CARE!!!!!Please help! We are our own Best Advocate ❤️ I gave 2 stars to help those that CARE!

Experiencia negativa: This location has gone downhill over the past couple of years. Go to the Belton location instead, it's worth it, thats where I go now. I would have rated this location 4 stars back in 2020 (not 5 because front desk is always hit or miss). But I didnt care because they had taken such good care of me. It's not like that anymore. I recently took my son who isn't 18 yet and instantly regretted it. They say they take teens, but not really. They just send them away with a mental health referral and refuse to give a PT referral for their own physical therapists who actually specialize in the diagnosis. So so so sadly disappointed. I won't go into detail for my child's privacy but wanted to be sure anyone considering taking their teen in gets a heads up. Young adults dealing with any kind of painful diagnosis don't need rude staff, uneducated nurses, or a scared physician.

Experiencia positiva: RE: formalities as a care taker of an elderly loved one- In the past year, the provider and FNP's she has seen have been great overall, providing her what she needs. Some staff concerning customer service especially are hit or miss, sometimes friendly and considerate, and other times are not. A few are consistently polite. This consistency should be universal! After all, patients are already in pain and whether it is them or a loved one inquiring about needs, it should be reviewed, met with effective communication and compassion. For those demonstrating empathy and attentiveness on a regular basis, kudos! Others who choose not to, I encourage you to work on it for the sake of not only those receiving services but family who are responsible for their best interest.

Experiencia negativa: Chen Worst ever. He's a bully doesn't listen to his patience. Rude. I have never met a dr as evil as him. I'm so glad my mom doesn't have to see him anymore. I feel bad for the people who see him if they are actually addicts. They probably get worse after seeing him. I would not recommend him at all. I'm shocked that he is still employed. One day he will be put in the same situation with pain. Karma

Experiencia negativa: I was sent to see Chen. This so called Dr treated me like I was below him and made me feel inferior. He made me feel unsafe and scared to go into the clear creek office for my visits. I called and did a verbal complaint. That has lead to knowthing. This man made me feel like I was less than a person and spoke to me in a way that made me feel unsafe. I already have trust issues with texas Dr's due to a bad surgery that was done to me as a child. I felt unsafe mistreated and treated by Dr Chen. If you have to visit him avoid it. He is not a good person or even a good Dr. It is as though he has no bedside manner and needs to be taken out of seeing patients. Dr chen kept his dictaphone going the entire time I was with him. This leading to him violating my hippa becouse of it being transcribed by a 3rd person. I have reached out to an attorney and while it may not net any results I have taken that step. If anyone wants to join me in going after his license please feel free to reach out to me. The more people we have on bord the more likely the attorney will be to take action and maybe advanced pain clinic will to. Experiencia negativa: I was seen on April 9. I'm still waiting on my medication. I have called 2x and still have not heard from anyone. I have not slept much. The pain is unbearable. I do not know what to do.
Experiencia negativa: Dr.Malones practice, should be closed. No help what so ever You are just a number They’re just all about money. Disabled Veterans deserve the best care. That you will not find here. Find some place else. They just need your money to pay for their advertising.

Experiencia fantástica: Today was my first time going there, front desk was very nice, the medical assistant was very kind and warm ( I am someone who struggles with social anxiety and I don’t like to leave my home ) doctor Amaro was very helpful in coming up with solutions to solve my chronic pain in my wrists and head. I have high hopes they can help me live a better life.

WOW told him i didn't want to take it, but as always doctors don't listen, instead of keeping me on what works, he is now putting me on drugs that could give me a severe chest infection that could kill me.. I really hate this place, not to mention they lost my paperwork and the staff got a attitude with me!! Then they found it and didn't even say sorry, wow, just wow will never go back, thanks for. Treating me like a drug addict

Experiencia negativa: I am too sick to type much This pain clinic has caused me physical & emotional damage. They sent me to Dr Chen because they weren’t making money off me with procedures I didn’t need. This is the message I sent Stay clear of them if you can, I am seeking legal. Dr Chen No need to send me this stuff, you've already given me. It's dated from the ninety's. I currently am not using pain medication at the same time as the Buprenorphine. My gastrointestinal dr, Dr Naumann, of six years has been scripting 80- 2mg hydro morphine every 6 months as an act of kindness to keep me out of the hospital. It's an automatic refill he keeps track of. I reserve those for extreme flares only. Dr Dennis had scripted me Dilaudid at first & I told him I already had that but needed something "lighter" Hence the hydrocodone As a matter of fact, if you would stop & listen, you would have heard me tell you that Shameka asked if I wanted Dilaudid & I told her no, to strong, I wanted something "less" & I would have been able to discuss it with you. But you have no interest in hearing anything from your patient, listening to my needs & thoughts. So I decided to try what you scripted & ended up at the doctors with several side effects. If you'd like to speak to him I think that would be a great idea. But you won't, because you're stubborn with some type of God complex & care nothing about establishing a relationship with your patients. I don't need an "addictionologist" I need a doctor who is going to help me get my pump working correctly so I didn't need any oral medication. That was the sole reason for the pump. Instead I'm getting jerked around by too many different employees/drs at APC. This could have been simple but you are narrow minded & jump to conclusions. There was no need to hang up on me while I was talking which only further proves your level of immaturity. I have never misused my medication & I only have the same drs I had when I first got sick. Hydro morphine is a hospital medication. I have 4 letters from my drs attesting to this.

Experiencia negativa: DON'T! I have lived with manageable pain for 20 years. 6 months with Advanced Pain Care and I got WORSE and WORSE. No support, recommendations or pain relief. They simply took away meds that worked, with NO WORKING ALTERNATIVE! I would give -17 stars!

Experiencia negativa: Doctor was great but the staff needs lots of training on customer service. I asked a question about the length of a procedure when the nurse told me in a very mocking tone, "it'll be done when its done". Very rude. Also Danielle the front desk clerk needs to realize that she is the first face people see when they walk in. Maybe try smiling more, it ain't that serious.

Experiencia fantástica: I REALLY appreciate the folks in the APC Killeen office! My neurosurgeon in Waco had referred them to me and FINALLY my pain is under control! The staff have all been courteous, helpful and professional. When I first moved to Texas, there was the process of finding new insurance, doctors and pain management. I was with one other company a long time until my surgeon referred me here. I thought that the other company was just the way it was here. But now, WOW what a difference in so many ways! Take it from me, don't "end up" here, just go ahead a start here!

Experiencia fantástica: Today I had my first trigger point injections with the new provider Dr. Amaro. This doctor is a MASTER at Trigger Points!! I have had shots every 2 weeks for almost 16 years. Dr Amaro is so well trained. His technique is amazing and my pain relief was the best it has been since moving to Texas! Can't say enough good things about this Doc. He is professional, knowledgeable and shows a real interest in his patients. As always I leave a good review for Justin, who I see monthly and also the great job of the M.A.s and office staff. They are kind, friendly, professional and all go above and beyond for their patients. THANKS Staff!!
Experiencia negativa: My girlfriends Dr in training Dr Emily something or another referred her to an addiction doctor based on the results of one false positive drug test with out waiting for the current test results. She displayed an obvious bias and personal judgement against someone who was a patient in real need of pain relief. Amphetamines and meth are the most common false positives and she incorrectly said they were not. This Dr in training is obviously not interested in the patients well being. Her clear personal bias should not have an influence on treatment. This is a clear injustice and medical malepractise.
Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Advance pain care for years. They are absolutely wonderful CARING DOCTORS NURSES AND STAFF. They take time to listen and have helped me through so much. They truely care and that's hard to find anymore !! I have the utmost respect for each and everyone of the staff and highly recommend the professional care there.

Experiencia fantástica: The team here at APC is wonderful, especially my clinical Navigator Kady! She has made the process of getting the Spinal Cord Stimulator implant a stress free process. APC has overall been amazing with handling my pain management.
Experiencia negativa: Had to change my rating from 5 stars to 1. Lately, staff has been short, rude, and dismissive especially front desk. Calls to reschedule appointments for after you run out of meds due to them overbooking. The last few times, I was seen almost an hour or more after my scheduled appointment. And to boot PA prescribes medications without telling you everything. Doesn't listen and obviously doesn't read your chart. This location has gone down hill fast in the last few months.

Experiencia fantástica: I been with APC for a little over than a year and I love it, Last week a had a battery revision I was very scared because were I did the implant in another “pain care facility “ they pushed me to do it and they did a horrible job , so when my doctor told me that I need it to do a surgery to move the battery I was frustrated because of the experience that I had in the other place I was scared. The pain they put me tru was horrible to the point that I had a full surgery with no post surgery pain meds nothing raw, but let me tell you how this group of people make it work for me , First Justin he listened to me I told him what what’s going on and the pain I was having around the battery (this is after a couple of injections) he right away asked if he can take a look and right away he notice what I haven’t tell him I felt , a bump around the battery like hard skin I was bingo I’m not crazy, he said this can be scar tissue so he consult the doc Dr.Cullen and right away he asked his nurse Kade to schedule me for surgery , I still scared but Justin asked me to trust them and give them a change to fix what other people did wrong , I said ok, Kade I love her!! First she called the day before surgery to send my pain meds like , you guys Gonna give me meds for after the surgery? Remember the other place let me go home with nothing raw with 13 staples in my spine and left side so she was with me all the way before, during and after surgery even on the weekend), via phone call, messages sending pictures the whole thing , with Dr. Cullen on board again Saturday and Sunday, they made my experience so much better, this was a new experience doctors and medical workers that really care, So Justin , Kade and Dr. Cullen thanks for helping me to live a less pain life I know I can count with you when I said I’m in pain you will work with me until the end.
Experiencia fantástica: I give 5 stars because these are the kindest, most caring people I’ve ever had to take care of my chronic pain and spinal condition, in my, more than 15 spinal surgeries, including 5 spinal fusions and 20 years of being in severe pain. I’ve used other pain clinics that treated me like an addict instead of a patient. Without the correct pain relief in the past, my body and immune system started breaking down. The doctors and staff at Advanced pain care have given me hope that I can live a more normal, healthy life.

They are not just kind, but they listen to what's going on with you and do everything possible to figure out how to give you your life back. With Justin Henne helping to figure out what worked for me and not just patch problems, I am functional again and so thankful for that! Beverly Alston works that front desk with care and friendliness for each person that she speaks to. She makes check in and questions so much easier. Thank you for the great care!

The front desk staff are so fun and sweet, wait times are short, they're very organized. Everyone I deal with is lovely. Experiencia fantástica: I cannot sing the praises of the Pump refill nurse Amanda in the Killeen office. She has taken such good care of me and gone above and beyond to help me on so many occasions that I am currently driving 3.5 hours form home to remain in her clinic with her and the doctors she surrounds herself with. She is the best nurse I have had in 20yrs of being in pain management......she needs to be highly valued because they don't make them like her. She is the reason I stay at this location.
Experiencia positiva: For the most part it is good, prompt service but good God almighty they keep this place ICE COLD!!! I've got bad circulation in my hands and feet so every time I come here I'm literally in pain from that alone! I mentioned it to once of the administrative nurses and they were quite calloused with me.id appreciate it if they could be a bit more compassionate...this is a pain care center after all, shouldn't that be a job requirement?
Experiencia negativa: I’ve never been treated so rudely by a dr. You know what he doesn’t even deserve to be called that. Mr Chen made up his mind about my treatment before he even spoke to me. He was very unprofessional and wouldn’t let me get any type of word in. This is the last time I will be going to advanced If this is how the treat theyre paying customers. The also run an insurance scam by charging $1300 for a urinalysis. I will be reporting them to my insurance. Dr Chen is a terrible dr if you have to go see him don’t waste your time he doesn’t care about patients. Works at a pain management place and doesn’t do anything for pain
Experiencia negativa: My mom has been trying to get an appointment to this clinic, and she keeps getting denied Becuase she doesn’t speak English, and they don’t have access to a persone that can translate to her. They won’t let her to see a doctor unless she is accompanied by someone who speaks English and Spanish. I live in VA right now and they won’t let her to call me to be able to translate. Federal law requires linguistic services for patients with LEP. Title VI of the US Civil Rights Act states that people cannot be discriminated against as a result of their national origin, race, or color, which has been extrapolated to include primary language by the US Office for Civil Rights and Department of Health and Human Services. This is a violation of the law, and nobody takes responsibility for it. I will file a complaint against the medical bird doctor who refuse to provide my mom with the health care that she needs.
Experiencia negativa: The doctor is great but that’s it, horrible service from office/front staff. They don’t care about veterans or making anything accessible. Disabled veteran roommate was in tears over how they were treated. Do not go here if you are a vet!!!

Experiencia positiva: This place has been a Godsend for my pain. Everyone is great and they are highly recommended.
Experiencia fantástica: I'm so glad that I was referred to Dr Pegram ( rheumatologist). These doctors really listen to what you say and are actually interested in their patients. . I was in so much pain when I went to my first visit, had no idea my osteoarthritis was that bad ,. I felt so bad, could hardly move . My first visit he took care of me and my pain. Gave me medication for my arthritis ,. I'm forever greatfull. I felt almost like a new person a few days after starting my meds and injections, ,. My second visit with pain management was just as great fixed my medications up right where my pain is not as bad,. I now have all the answers for my pain,. Thank you ADVANCE PAIN CARE TEAM. Won't leave out the front office team either those women are extremely sweet and nice. It's nice to see such helpful and nice people.

Experiencia fantástica: I have spine pain and they actually try to help me manage my pain. It isn't like going to the tmc where they throw ibprofen at you and tell you to ignore it, they actually take the time to make sure the medication works and your life is improving
Experiencia fantástica: First time using this pain clinic. I was very pleased with how fast my appointment was made. The staff at the front desk were extremely busy but remained very polite! The doctor was very informative and professional as he answered all my questions and came up with a treatment plan that I look forward to as being in pain is the worst! Lastly the lady that scheduled my next appointment was very polite and made sure the appointments work with my schedule! Very professional team!! Thank you all!!
