Experiencia negativa: I've had two lousy experiences at this clinic. The first one happened in 2019, I had some issues following outpatient surgery that needed attention. I did a Saturday walk-in, was charged a visit fee (over $100 IIRC), then the nurse I was assigned to told me that clinic didn't perform that function. I never got my money back, and due to my health condition at the time, didn't have the time or energy to do the battle required to get a refund. Okay fine, they screwed me when I was down, good on you MFers. The second incident happened this week, arrived for my appt on time but was ignored for an hour. I had to leave to return to work. I'm now looking into whether they are charging me and/or my insurance for non-service. A minor thing, they fumbled the ball for several weeks before getting a new Rx to my pharmacy.
Experiencia fantástica: Clean. Friendly environment. Staff is ready and willing to help with needs. Doctors and nurses listen and suggest alternatives to any needs. Great place.

Experiencia fantástica: I love going here, the people that I have met have been so sweet and thoughtful and kind. We were in and out in a very short time and everything was taken care of so well. I have been there twice with two different people and both times it was great. Thank you so much for all you do.

Experiencia positiva: I would have given this facility 5 stars because they really are quite nice and polite. I'm new to Killeen and the check in lady went above and beyond for me even setting me up with a Dr appnt upon leaving. BEWARE OF the rudest most unprofessional doctor I've ever come in contact with. Dr. Shand Ray Maxwell, MD he didn't even examine me or the supporting documents I brought with me. I have a pain disease and running out of my medication could cause death. He was extremely short and over spoke me sevreal times. When I told him what they gave me WITH THE DOCUMENTS he called me a liar and told me we are done here. I am in shock at how rude he was. It's a shame because everyone else was so nice..
Experiencia fantástica: I was very pleased with the services, I had a(3 day) migraine which my meds weren't helping with. I went in and was there a total of 45 minutes, I was taken care of and sent home. I feel like myself again ! Kudos
Experiencia positiva: After waiting 2 1/2 hrs b/c the Urgent care was so full of sick and injured ppl. Even several children. I was so sick I hated the wait, but after going in the Dr was so caring and kind. He was general concerned about my health. I received several prescriptions
Experiencia fantástica: I only ever had one bad experience at this place at their urgent care in I believe Temple. But its not fair to them to give a low rating. I was assigned a primary care doctor who is the best I've ever had. Im 38 years old and seen many doctors over the years but she is amazing in the very fact she is older and listens to you. Doesn't just jump to conclusions about anything and push you out the door.

Experiencia negativa: Went there on 16May for alcoholism and asked for a referral for inpatient detox and rehab. They put the referral in wrong as out patient and tricare wouldn’t honor it. I called repeatedly since the day of to today and receive the same message with no results “the message has been passed to the Dr”. And still I sit with no corrected referral. My situation is an emergency to me and should be seen as an emergency to medical staff, however my priority must be low. I can’t receive treatment without a correct referral and in my condition it is absolute hell waiting
Experiencia fantástica: I signed up for insurance through the Marketplace. I called a hospital who gave me available physicians in the area, and I called this location. I cannot say enough about Andrea, the scheduler who answered my call. She anticipated some challenges and voluntarily help guide me through setting up a portal, sick appointment and care appointment. Andrea was so happy, answered all my questions, was very personable, and had a great sense of humor. She was very patient when my insurance information was not showing and spoke on my behalf on three-way calls. Andrea found out that I have a different member and group number and the system recognized it right away. Andrea knew the ins and outs of the signup process and I really felt cared-for like family. She was the best. I made a follow up call to get a list of things checked for the next doctor’s appointment. Paige Pogue, the scheduler at the time, took the time to schedule me with a physician and there was a months-along wait. Paige was so professional and methodical, and was willing to send out a request to nurses to see if I could get any of the special tests and a physical done ahead of time. If the service I received so far is representative of the future care I will receive, I am so glad I chose this location, and so look forward to meeting them face-to-face.
Experiencia negativa: Dr Fountain is great and knowledgeable however once you leave the office there is no follow up with tests or concerns you brought. Very frustrating when you are trying to understand a bunch of test and blood work

Experiencia negativa: Went to Killeen, Scott White clinic to get my wife a stool sample bottles and the lab said I need to schedule her an appointment to get it even after doctor already put the order in. After I schedule her the appointment they told me to sit in the lobby to be called and someone would bring me a bottle. Im guessing them bottles are made of gold and random people are stealing and selling them online. Lord help Scott & White if they are so controlling over a stool sample bottle.
Experiencia fantástica: My husband does not like doctors. We went and saw PA Corbett and I can say she has the best bedside manner we have ever experienced. We have been seeing her for two yrs. If one or the other goes to see her, she makes it a point to ask about the other. I recommend her to everyone!
Experiencia fantástica: The clinic was clean and I had an early appointment, so I can't say how often they disinfect, but was in and out quickly.
Experiencia positiva: I have been talking my mother here since we moved about a year ago. Dr. CORBETT and Dr. HUBERT have been wonderfully professional and patient with her. I also started using BSW three weeks ago and have been very happy with the service provided.

Experiencia fantástica: Sunday night eye pain. They told me wait would be 45 minutes...I was called back 5 minutes later. 3 separate Eye flushes & pain meds I was released about 8:30 pm. Sitting in my vehicle resting my eyes before driving 8 miles home. Feel asleep woke up 10:30pm... only to find I WAS THE ONLY CAR ON THE PARKING LOT...they had CLOSED... Why did I think they were open 24 hours like the emergency room?? Thank You~ to everyone that pampered ME thru my pain & tears. #great staff‼️
Experiencia fantástica: PA Crowder was amazingly sweet and took really good care of me. I've been sick for almost a week and finally decided to bite the bullet and go in. The wait was a little long but they were pretty full so that's only fair. She got me everything I needed and made sure I was all set before I left. Definitely recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm a 53 yr old male and started getting blood clots and PEs at age 22. Having been admitted to the hospital over 1000 days in the last 31 years I've seen my share of various hospitals. I've had the SWHP for the entire time and this hospital is BY FAR the BEST hospital in the area! Saved me when I coded on 2 occasions, performed over 20 surgeries and basically have kept me alive in circumstances beyond belief. I have had a minor issue a few times but WOW what fantastic place to be when you need the best.

Experiencia negativa: If you value your time not being wasted reconsider coming here. I made an appointment and as I’m checking in they tell me I need to be rescheduled because I’m scheduled for the wrong time slot. Ok that’s fine. They schedule me for a few hours later, because of everything going on I asked if my 4 week old could be in the room with me considering where I would take him so I can attend appointments has a 6 week policy. I was told it was fine. I show up 20 minutes early and get told I can’t attend my appointment because of my son. Don’t waste your time here because they just wasted my entire day.

Experiencia negativa: So my appointment was 8:15 but was ask to be 15 minutes early. I showed up at 7: 45 and still haven't been seen. Its 8:47 and still counting. Am so disappointed. Why would you let someone be waiting this long with all that is going on. This is not the time to be sitting in a clinic for that long.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. E. Sanchez was awesome today , this has been one of my best experiences with Scott and White !!!! Dr. Sanchez was very up front and to the point with me, he couldn't fully treat my symptoms so he referred me to the emergency room because of the possible urgency with my symptoms. He is very professional and talks in a manner that is very understandable, not like the technical medical terms , he explained his reasoning for what he thought about my symptoms. I appreciate the fact he didnt just say go buy this itc and try it, as previous Dr.s at Scott and White have told me. THANK YOU Dr. Sanchez !!!!

Experiencia negativa: Don’t try calling them, the number goes to a recorded message and then a useless advisor offsite. No chance of speaking to a human in this building. Sad that they don’t care for patients enough to have staff available to pick up the phone. Feels similar to finding someone to help you at a Walmart.

Experiencia negativa: The most insincere and careless doctor I have ever seen in my life is doctor maxwell, I went in to get seen for a condition he told me was life threatening (alcohol abuse) and all I got was a referral for a psychiatrist (no appointment made) and who knows when I will get in. He also refused a treatment I have used successfully in the past to stop drinking. All of the nurses and staff were however very nice and genuine.

Experiencia fantástica: With two foster/adopt children I needed S&W Urgent Care several times on weekends over the last 8 years. Yes, often they are crowded, but I understand that they are not staffed like their regular clinic. I have NEVER had a bad experience. The staff, doctors, and security guard are always professional, helpful, and friendly. Never any “attitude” issues. Thank you for the challenging jobs that you do!

Experiencia negativa: My son was running a little bit of a fever so I decided to call the nurse hot line. She told me that it didn’t matter if I went to the urgent care of ER. I decided to use the urgent care, thinking it would be a little less frantic than taking him to the ER. When they finally saw us, we had to use a different nurse because the first one had an attitude. When the doctor finally came in he straight up told us, “sorry there’s nothing I can do for you, you were supposed to take him to the ER.” I explained to him that the nurse told me I could take him to either one. The best part was, HE decided to give me an attitude and sarcastically state, “well I can show you on my computer where they said to take him to the ER!” We just got up and left. What an absolute joke this place is. Learn how to treat people.

Experiencia negativa: I came here visiting from out of town in June. I was running a fever and was given acetaminophen. Thinking I was being seen by a actual doctor to only find out she was only a FNP Ms. Vaughn!! I was told I needed to give a urine sample which I informed the person that took my vitals that I hadn’t had any liquids so it might be hard for me to do so. I sat in the rest room and patient room for almost close to an hour because I couldn’t do so. I ask FNP Ms. Vaughn if I could just bring the urine sample back because I know I just need to go and drink some water to get some fluids in my system so that I can give a urine sample and she hesitantly tells me yes only to find out she was lying to me. I’m probably 2 minutes down the road and Ms. Vaughn calls saying I couldn’t bring the urine sample back and to just go to the ER which was very rude. It’s funny how they can take your money and not offer any results and tell you to go to the ER! If she wasn’t capable of doing her job she should’ve informed me to go there first instead of wasting my time here. My husband came back for me and I went all the way back to Houston to get proper health care from my doctor. I’m writing this review because here it is 4 months down the road and I get another bill from them! I can’t believe they had the nerve to charge me a $1.00 for acetaminophen and it was given to me without being told it was going to cost me. Do not come here if you want proper service and to be charged with no results and demand to see a actual Doctor!

Experiencia fantástica: We've had great experience with Steve and Dr. Roman. We were seen in reasonable amount of time and the cost was comparable to other walk in clinics. Without insurance, copay at the door is $85 and I was billed additional ~$60 dollars later.

Experiencia fantástica: I got there when they opened at 8 Everyone was courteous and efficient. I was seen by the medical staff within 15 minutes. The care was excellent. I got appropriate diagnosis and help. I highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Maxwell treated my daughter for a toe nail injury and basically lost his composure with her. He was attempting to relieve her but was not managing her pain well. He abruptly stopped his procedure and turned to his computer to end the session. I was shocked and asked him if he was done with her and he was clearly upset. He did not have the patience and I was uncomfortable around him. Iwould not recommend him to anyone. Scott n White is normally very good at pain management so he did not represent them very well at all this day.

Experiencia negativa: My wife had her sebaceous cyst removed and we were charged initially $618 on our visit on Oct. 31, 2017 and thought that was it. We were surprised to see additional charge of $152.86 on 01/24/2018. We tried to dispute it and the lady we spoke to explained to us it's because of delayed billing. Our up to date balance shows $224.86 after paying this month's amount due which she told us is incorrect that it would go up to $344.86, again because of future charge due to delayed billing. Unbelievable!!!

I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes to be taken back and then was seen by the doctor within a few minutes of being taken to a room. The doctor seemed genuinely interested and was helpful in fixing my illness. Would highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: The medicine here is give a pill and a test. My husband was seen, doctor notes he can see the obvious pain... This is not the first time, but it is the last time Dr. Hueburt and that clinic will see anyone in our family and hopefully no one else has to have the same suffering at their hands. Do not go here, find a doctor that knows what 'do no harm means' instead of ... whatever their lack of care is.

Experiencia negativa: I had no idea this business will not help children. The front desk woman was rude. And LvN McDowell waited until after I paid to rudely tell me the business does not care for children and refused to give me his name. Please place a sign on the door "Will NOT CARE FOR CHILDREN/BABIES" I only hope I'll get my money back.

Experiencia negativa: As much as I know dealing with depressed, ill people all day isn't on their bucket list, some compassion would be appreciated. The nurse that called me in asked me to step on the scale and I was trying to make light that I had a bunch of stuff in my arms as I set it down. When we finished she coldly told me to grab everything now and follow her. I don't think I saw this woman smile once. She took my vitals or whatever and then took out a tongue depresser and told me to open my mouth. With no warning she took a swab of my throat. I know that she needed to do it but warning would be nice. I waited and when the NP finally came in she was kind but distant. I asked for a steroid shot which I have received before with strep but she seemed confused like she had never heard of it before. She got me the antibiotics I needed but no pain killer even after I described my pain. I don't think she even looked into my mouth to see how swollen everything was, even after complaints of not being able to swallow or breathe properly. She gave me the prescription and left. No zpak or steroid even after requesting because I'm a teacher and needed to get back to work asap. I know she was just doing her job but that's all she did. I don't expect above and beyond but some understanding would be nice.

Experiencia negativa: They are very slow I do not think that it should be called an urgent care. More like a walk in clinic. The lady at the front desk and nurse were nice. The doctor seemed to be very distant and uncaring. Will not be going back. Too many in the area to waste time on this establiahmen.

Experiencia negativa: We were visiting Killeen and my wife injured herself and so needed a tetanus shot. Went in to S&W urgent care, told them she was paying cash. Received the shots and paid $140 in cash and was assured that was all she would owe. Got home from our trip a month later and found a bill waiting in our mailbox. They charged us an additional $210 for a "new patient" fee. Called S&W billing and got nothing but a run around from some drone who could barely read the bill much less explain why we were being billed etc. What a scam, we won't be using S&W again.
