Experiencia fantástica: Andrew provided expert care in helping me to recover from my total hip replacement. The facilities are clean and the equipment excellent. Andrew was flexible when I needed to change my appointment due to unforeseen family needs. This is the only physical therapy clinic that I will use and I have recommended Beyond Physical Therapy to my orthopedic surgeon for his patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Received great care for a knee injury from Andrew and Tomas. Both are experienced PTs who work with you directly. You are not handed off to assistants who work with multiple people. This personal care is important because you learn how the treatment addresses problems and how the healing takes place and you can discuss any problems that you have. This immediate access to the PTs is very helpful.

With his tailored plan of therapy for me, the pain went from 10 to a 2 in a few weeks and I can now stand straight and walk without being bent forward. This is a very friendly office and they work to accomodate your schedule. You won't find more highly trained and conscientious physical therapist in the Knoxville area.

I was able to walk much better and am so much stronger than when I first started, due to his knowledge, kindness, and expertise at guiding me through the physical therapy process. The European Method used at BPT was just what I needed, to strengthen my leg and foot muscles after sciatic nerve damage that happened when I had a hip replacement, resulting in foot drop. Experiencia fantástica: Tomasz was recommended to be by my allergist in an attempt to avoid a second steroid shot in my neck in which I would have to be under anesthesia again. I have a bulging disc at C5 and spinal stenosis. I went hesitantly b/c my experience with PT prior to my first steroid was shot was unsuccessful and after every visit I would be in so much pain. I have Fibromyalgia which is basically an overactive nerve system and an extremely sensitive pain response. Even to just get a massage would throw me into a flare up. Tomasz was absolutely amazing. He took in to consideration my needs and did everything he could to make every visit about my progress, what could help me further and not push me over the edge with my pain. It was very individualized. He has a different approach and I would recommend him again and again. He increases the difficulty in the exercises accordingly and routinely does baseline checks to see how much you've progressed. He really tries to connect with his patients on a personal basis and shares his own anecdotes too. I'm very glad I found him after my car accident. I started feeling better quicker than I could have hoped for.

I am so thankful God crossed our paths, and that I choose them. They were such a blessing to me in so many ways, they definitely live up to their name. When I came in it hurt to put any pressure on my foot, and limited what I could do and how really disrupted my life and work. I left being able to run. They did a thorough evaluation and made everything easy for me to understand. They even showed me what was going with my foot in a medical book so I could see and better understand myself instead of just telling me something. They explained why they did the exercises and my first week they focused on just relaxing my muscles. I went there because the doctors were talking about the possibility of surgery on my foot. The pain and weakness in my foot and ankle caused me great fear of falling due to my history of chronic sprains and trauma to my ankle. Experiencia fantástica: I was in a lot of pain when I first came in to see Tomas. We went through my complete medical history and what caused my fall and resulting back/hip injury. He was very thorough and patient and explained his reasoning and the proposed treatment plan. He understood my timeline for the summer because of a holiday trip I had planned months ago and helped me achieve significant improvements in strength and mobility - which came in very handy, we averaged 8-10 miles per day walking!

Experiencia fantástica: I am continuing physical therapy here after my second total shoulder joint replacement, and starting PT somewhere else. Physical therapy here is much more focused and effective. Starting with a very thorough assessment and review. The set up of the treatment areas is like no other I have experienced: Set up for individual treatment that allows for comfort and enough privacy for the individualized treatment, and space for exercises and monitoring. Not like the jam packed feeling in other places where hurried assistants get you started on something, set a timer and move on quickly. Here, the PT monitors you to be sure that the exercises are done correctly, with correct alignment, and respond immediately if there is a problem or question. This made all the difference for me and my recovery. Will never go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: Andrew, at Beyond Physical Therapy, has given me incredible relief from lower back and leg pain. He linked the leg pain to my lower back pain caused by my poor posture. He gave me a number of stretches and lower body exercises which, after 4 weeks and 11 visits, have me walking erect, moving easily and improved my night’s rest. The lumbar roll has also made my distance driving more comfortable. Thank you, Andrew.

I was also not able to get adequate sleep because of the pain. Tomasz is extremely knowledgeable and was able to get me to a point of no pain. All of the staff is very nice and professional. Experiencia fantástica: First of all, I am horrible at leaving reviews ... anywhere. So, that being said, I can't say enough good things about Andrew, Tomasc, Samantha and Wendy. From the moment you arrive to the end of treatment you feel like they really care about you. Other PT places I had been to before Beyond don't feel like that. My problems are in my cervical spine. I have several herniated or bulging disks and surgery is not an option. So, over the last six or seven years, I have had 3 rounds of therapy and I feel so much better! My husband Ron just had a total knee replacement and there was nowhere else we would have gone. Knee replacements are one of the toughest things to rehab and I really believe Ron would not have recovered as well as he did if he would not have gone here. If you are thinking about where to go for therapy, you will not regret working with Beyond Physical Therapy. We will go nowhere else.

Andrew did a wonderful job helping me improve the issue I was having with my left foot. I will continue to use them for any physical therapy needs in the future. LDC I have used Beyond Physical Therapy for many years. I have been treated for vertigo, total knee replacement and, the latest, a shoulder issue. I have never had to hurry through a therapy session. The entire staff is professional and courteous; always ensuring my needs are met. If I ever need PT in the future, I will be sure to return here, as this has been the best place for PT I have found!

I've had this issue for many years and have had previous surgeries and experienced a lot of physical therapy all over the country. I was reluctant to return to PT as I always disliked the impersonal format and minimal improvements with limited treatments in my previous therapies. Yet, I wanted to try-one more time. This is the BEST decision I ever made! Andrew and his team have the most comprehensive and effective therapies I have ever experienced. Andrew possesses extensive, next-level knowledge in regards to physiology, treatments and care. He also is very astute at recognizing an individual's specific needs. He is always involved, paying attention and careful. It is very clear that he takes a personal interest in his work and he sincerely desires to make a positive difference. Everything was highly specialized to my needs. Constant, personal attention, evaluation, encouragement and support are the cornerstone of his programs. Additionally, Andrew is genuinely one of the kindest, caring, most enjoyable individuals I have ever met. There is absolutely NO place I will go, in the future, other than Beyond Physical Therapy. Experiencia fantástica: I went to BPT clinic for several weeks for the weakness of my cab muscles related to neuropathy. Tomasz worked with me and I found him most knowledgeable and personable. As his title indicates, he has been certified for many different kinds of physical therapies. As the therapy progressed, Tomasz evaluated my conditions periodically and adjusted my routine exercises accordingly. As a result, my mobility has improved and I have learned many useful exercises that I can carry out at home. The clinic is very well equipped for various therapy routines. The other staff members were also kind and friendly. I would have no hesitation to go back to BPT if a need arises and I would highly recommend the clinic to people requiring therapy for any issues.

This time it was my shoulder, that I obviously over extended somehow. I could not crossed over with the right arm in front of my body.It was giving me a severe pain each and every time, and I was concerned I will have to have a shoulder rotator surgery. During my evaluation, Tom immediately diagnosed my problem. I started my therapy and only after few visits my condition improved significantly.Initially, I had 3 visits per week for several weeks and then slowly the appointments got less frequently. Tom provided me with an excellent care. He listened to my feedback and carefully choose the appropriate exercise, that made my shoulder more flexible and less painful. He is a very knowledgable therapist, being able to explain details of how the body works and why. In addition, he is a very friendly during the session, never rushes you and always makes sure that the therapy is healing. I definitely would and I recommend that place to anyone out there suffering from any pain or discomfort. Experiencia fantástica: After experiencing vertigo a couple times, the Physicians Assistant at my primary care doctor's office suggested Occupational Therapy. I made contact at the therapy office near me and Thomasz was my therapist. He created a plan to address what he determined was an inner ear problem. After 3 weeks I was "healed" as Thomasz put it. Atmosphere at the office was very welcoming....you felt like family. The best compliment I can give to Thomasz is that when my ENT doctor looked at his report he said Thomasz was thorough and I was in good hands!

Experiencia fantástica: I've had serious back problems for many years and have had PT at two other facilities; the results were of minimal help. The pain of sciatica had gotten much worse, so I decided to see a neurosurgeon. I was shocked by my X-rays (which I actually saw just after they were taken or I would not have believed they were mine). My scoliosis and disc degeneration were very obvious and drastic. The doctor suggested PT twice a week for 6 weeks and then possibly injections. After that, he said, the insurance would no doubt approve a major surgery to fuse my back with 10-12 screws. I wasn’t very happy about the prospect of having my back fused, so the next day I saw my primary care provider; he suggested I try Andrew at Beyond Physical Therapy because that's who he sees when he has back problems! I liked Andrew right away - he said that I needed therapy three times a week, not two. That was fine with me. During the course of my therapy I got stronger and stronger. . . as a matter of fact, after the first visit! Andrew gave me exercises and tips for prevention, awareness, and daily habits to learn in order to keep my back in good shape. Even though my back looks bad, it feels fine. I’ve learned how to keep my muscles strong in order to prevent a relapse. Everyone at Beyond Physical Therapy is very caring and helpful. The atmosphere is fun and I always felt like I had their full attention. I highly recommend Beyond and will certainly return to them for any kind of therapy I may need in the future!
