Not only was he able to exactly pinpoint the area injured, but explain WHY it likely occurred. Then he went through exercises one by one to address my deficits and prevent future injury. Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Dr. John Broussard and Onward Lafayette to anyone in need of physical therapy. 3 weeks out from my first marathon, I suffered an Achilles injury. At the time, I thought there was no way I’d be able to run the race. Not only did Dr. John get me back on my feet, but I still hit my goal time and PR’d the race. Thank you for everything!

Experiencia fantástica: I scheduled an appointment because I was feeling pain in my traps that was also causing neck pain as well as a pain deep in my inner shoulder blade. After giving John some more information, he began his evaluation. He recommended some dry needling for my traps, a soft tissue massage, and another exercise for my shoulder blade. He then showed me some exercises I could do at home and at work to strengthen the areas to keep my pain away. In about an hour and 15 minutes, I was leaving Onward pain free with a plan to improve my body. I will be returning to Onward to see John Broussard for follow ups and future aches and pains.

Experiencia fantástica: Onward Lafayette was the best experience! Dr. Broussard really took the time to listen to me and understand how my injuries are affecting my daily activities. After assessing my limitations, he taught me several exercises to incorporate into my daily exercise routine. He also gave cues to adjust my body mechanics when running and I’ve already noticed a difference with long distances. Would recommend to anyone looking for a well rounded physical therapy approach!

Experiencia fantástica: I was in a very severe accident that left my foot in pretty bad shape. I first met Dr John Broussard as a result of this incident and he not only took care of me as a patient, but also as a friend. He doesn’t treat every patient the same because not every patient is the same but his passion and compassion are genuine as a physical therapist. My foot has healed and it was with his hard work and dedication that motivated me to get better and I continue to practice what he has taught me to keep in better shape as I move Onward with my physical health.

Experiencia fantástica: Being an athlete and having as many surgeries as I did was extremely hard, mentally and physically. John made me so comfortable and confident every time that I was going to be perfectly fine and 10x better when I came out therapy… he was right! When I left the first time and found out I needed another surgery I told them I wanted John as much PT! … And then the same thing 3 more times after that. He’s so personable, it makes you feel like you’re just hanging out with a friend when you go see him! Absolutely hands down the best experience!! I wouldn’t look anywhere else for physical therapy!! He’s the best, and will get you right where you need to be!
