Experiencia fantástica: The staff there were kind helpful and very professional..

Experiencia positiva: they took care of my mom but all the extra stuff like the physical therapy wasn't need she couldn't breathe. she could walk, feed herself , go to the bathroom by herself. there aren't enough nurses but that any place like this. IT IS WAY BETTER THAN WELLSPRINGS EXCUSE ME I MEAN THE MIRAGE. ALL MY THEY DID WAS CHANGE THE NAME. SAME RUDE PEOPLE MOSTLY THE ONES WHO HAD TO DEAL DIRECTLY WITH THE PATIENTS ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. well it's nothing like AV CARE CENTER. I EVEN MET A FEW EX WELLSPRINGS WORKERS . THEY AGREED WITH ME. MOM SAID THE FOOD WAS EDIBLE. ANYWAY OVERALL I'LD RATHER GO THERE THAN AS OTHER PLACE . J.S. my opinion

Experiencia negativa: We were given this faculty as an option when looking for a place for mom however when researching the facilities in the area we came across an LA times article about the quality of care issues this faculty has after reading that I was actually upset that this facility was given to us an an option. I felt compelled to write this because I’m positive other families looking for facilities are not made aware of the issues this particular facility has.

Experiencia negativa: Trying to get you people to do your job is unreal. My brother needs to be sent home to ky you all say you will make the accommodations but never do I am gonna contact the head of nursing homes and report you people

Experiencia positiva: My wife was admitted to Antelope Valley Care Center on the 4th of July, At first I didn’t care for it because she was coming from a hospital with her own room to the center with two or three patients to a room, my angst elevated when one the other patients in the room blasted her tv at max volume (not really her fault as she is elderly and extremely hard of hearing!) I didn’t say anything hopeful the situation would be resolved but it really wasn’t so we asked for my wife to be moved and they without hesitation accommodated our request. The staff here works very hard and they are sensitive to their patients needs I would recommend this facility rehabilitation care!

Experiencia fantástica: I’m at this facility at least three times a week visiting with my sister-in-law and anyone else whom I may visit with. This facility is always clean and everyone always greet me with a smile. The care my sister-in-law is experiencing we could not ask for more. We are very hands-on when it comes to her health and her day-to-day care. The staff always listen to us and make the necessary changes to ensure my sister-in-law‘s experience is good. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is actually willing to put some work in as well. The work is love.

Experiencia fantástica: I used to work at this facility not long time ago, and when my grandmother needed to go to a snf my Auntie didn’t hesitate to send her here, she has been there for almost 3 months and I can’t thank the staff enough for all their help, she is doing great and has become one of their Long term patients, we are so happy with the care she is receiving specially from her morning CNA, she is always up on her wheelchair and ready to have fun in activities or rehab. Every time my family has a concern about anything management has had a fast respond and willing to work with my grandmas needs. Thank you AVCC.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough good things about this facility and the care they provided for my grandpa. From the very beginning, the staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive. What really stood out to me was how responsive they were. They gave me their direct phone numbers so I could always reach someone with questions or concerns regardless of the time. That level of access gave our family so much peace of mind. Every time I visited, my grandpa looked well cared for and comfortable. The nurses and his cna were not only professional, but so sweet to my grandpa, they treated him like family. They took the time to get to know him and talk to him. Communication was always clear and respectful, and I felt like I was kept in the loop about everything, big or small. They even encouraged family involvement and made us feel like part of the care team. It’s never easy having a loved one in a skilled nursing facility, but knowing he was in such good hands made all the difference. I’m so grateful to the entire team for their hard work, kindness, and dedication. Thank you for taking such great care of my grandpa!

Experiencia fantástica: We truly appreciate Junova, the amazing Case Manager! She made the transition to our board and care, Caring Home Cottage, smooth and well-coordinated. She followed up to make sure our resident had everything they needed. Even when I asked questions outside of her role, she kindly took the time to connect with other departments to help me. You can tell she loves her job by the way she communicates—she’s kind, professional, and always willing to help. Her extra effort really stands out. AV Care Center is lucky to have her!

Experiencia fantástica: I toured at all the facilities in the area and I’m so happy we chose Antelope Valley Care Center. The other places either smelled really bad or patients were not being attended and even noticed staff members talking very unprofessional amongst each other at other facilities. The atmosphere at Antelope Valley Care Center was completely different! While my nana was there we noticed how attentive they were, the rooms were always clean, and the therapy she received got her right back on her feet. I Highly recommend this facility to anyone that is looking to place a loved one in a skilled nursing facility in the antelope valley.

Experiencia fantástica: i had a great experience at the antelope valley care center. not only were the nurses very caring but all the staff members. my family met with the administrator on the first day of my arrival. he understood how stressful it can be for family and showed his full support. the admission dept were also very involved with mine or my families concerns. also social services, they made sure i was set up with a good home health before i was sent home. im very thankful for everyone there. a big thank you to the therapy team as well for getting me back on my feet.

Experiencia negativa: If you want your family member to lay in bed all day and never get out of bed this is the facility for you. My family member has been the for over two weeks now and has not been out of bed in a chair once. To top it off he is there for rehab. My husband and I have had to go twice a day everyday to do exercises with him so he can be ready to come home. I guess this is the new standard of nursing. Pathetic!!!

They take care of their patients and it make you feels your home away from home. Staff are very helpful and activities are fun

They also provide transportation for an appointments and provide sitters if needed supervision. My Grandma is happy now she’s home and can’t thank enough with people who help with her recovery specially the Rehab team.

Experiencia fantástica: Case manager worked hard and fought with the insurance so we had long enough to rehab and recover. Crazy we have to fight for our benefits when accidents happen. Dallin the Director stopped in a few times to check in on us throughout our stay, which we appreciated. The customer service from nursing staff and therapy team was excellent and the food was surprisingly good. Thanks for getting us back on our feet Antelope Valley. Cheers!

Experiencia negativa: My mom was a patient here... I saw nasty things done at this facility by staff members with each other. I was also accused of smoking a cigarette but got accused ofprohibited substance by a supervisor which was funny because she ended up apologizing because I proved her wrong. Older lady with glass was her to be specific .......my mother also had her diabetes dropped to 30 and ended up taking her to the er afterwards if it wasn't for my arrival to my mom flopping like a fish at the scene.. I absolutely flipped because she was calling them for a while before she hit that low to inform them that her diabetes is dropping..but as "routine" was how one of the cna's described it as. I responded by asking if her routine was to let the elderly suffer in desperation..THANK GOODNESS I was able to save my mom's life!....they were also giving her ozempic without my knowledge. So in experience half of the staff are nice even the janitor including the pt's and a couple select nurses.. other nurses were too rough with changing my mom and would refuse to acknowledge her needs. Well I'm glad that's the past and we're finished with going through that mess, but I'd highly advise new family or patients to recommend going elsewhere because this place was TERRIBLE. My mom came back home very skinny

Experiencia negativa: I strongly advise against sending your loved ones to this facility. I found my dad barely conscious and had to track down a nurse to check on him. When they finally put a pulse oximeter on him, the readings were very low. The nurse tried to convince me that I was reading it upside down which made me very upset! After I yelled at them , they finally called the paramedics. My dad is now in the ICU. This experience was incredibly upsetting, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through it.

My truck runs great and she and her team are the reason. If I was in the market for a new truck I would ask her for her opinion on which one. Thank you Jessica! The CNA's are very nice and the help with my mothers needs, they keep her clean and treat her very well. The nurses are always very informative. Keeps me updated on her progress. I would refer anyone to them..On a scale from 1 to 10. I would give them A 10..

A nurse was rude and told my dad he would die once he left. Please keep your family away. It's not a good facility.

Nurses will not come in his room when he desperately needs them!! I was on the phone with him when a nurse came in and screaming at him while he was asking for pain medication! She threw his pill at him!! I ask to speak to her and she said NO!!! So many things to list!!!

Of course, no one the outcome will be and as a random choice it turned out to be the best decision. The staff are excellent from administrators to nursing to housekeeping. I have piece of mind. The facility is very clean and during COVID, the staff was very well organized. The patients have nothing but great things to say about this care center over all.

Experiencia fantástica: I live in Maryland. I made two visits to AV Care Center during a recent trip to California. My mother was nicely dressed on both occasions. Staff was courteous. I noticed that the front lobby has been attractively upgraded. I appreciate the care my mother receives and telephone updates I receive on her overall health.
