Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to this facility a few times over the last 6 years for three different injuries since I have a very active lifestyle. All three bouts were treated by different therapists and I can tell you for certain there is a sense of expertise in the air because they simply solve problems on the daily and teach you how to move on. Not your typical place that tries to keep patients around when their expertise is not required. I sometimes stop by after an aggressive tennis match for their recovery program. Love the compression boots. Very reliable group.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Peters is a former ballplayer and thus is uniquely qualified to understand, diagnose and treat baseball-specific arm and related injuries. I couldn’t be more impressed with the care and expertise my boys received in recovery from baseball arm injuries. From our very first visit, the Dr. Peters and his staff listened carefully to their symptoms and concerns. Dr. Peters was incredibly knowledgeable and tailored a well-structured recovery plan, with a perfect balance of strengthening exercises, stretches, and manual techniques to target their specific injury. Both of my boys obtained significant improvements in their mobility and strength allowing them to return to the field much faster than I anticipated. The entire team at PT West was professional, friendly, and genuinely invested in their recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough positive things about PT West and Yaron Peters and his team. They have helped my son get back on the field as soon (and as safely) as possible following ankle and arm issues. Yaron brings a unique combination of on-the-field experience (high D1 baseball career) and specialized doctoral level training (DPT) to getting high performers back on the field/court etc. He helped my son Nate during the peak of his high school baseball season with issues that threatened to derail a very good Senior season — and then, he helped again when he came back from Summer Ball with another injury that threatened a healthy start to his college career. Yaron is so good understanding the physical and mental demands of high level sports (and dealing with us neurotic parents that worry about getting our kids healthy and back to the sport they love). The physical therapist I worked with (Jiggs?) was not trauma informed and kept stating "wow" to everything that was off with my body. It made me feel significantly worse than before I came in. There are definitely better places out there. Would not recommend unless you got a bruise in a mild car accident and need the most basic work done.

I have experience with Allan on a different part of my body very good I’m recently in process I am working with jiggs Super kind he cares a lot. He removes my pain with all the good treatments that he knows and I’m super super happy camper.

Experiencia fantástica: When you have a stroke or surgery an MD will want you to recover to prior level of function. To make that happen your doctor will refer you to a physical therapist. He will not refer you to a yoga master or a personal trainer unless he knows a miracle worker which is unlikely. Therefore if you want to maintain good health and have a choice between between A trainer and a physical therapist or a yoga master. Just to go to physical therapy intelligent choice with all things being equal is to go to a physical therapist. I personally go to Physical Therapy West and could not be any happier with my decision and I have been going there for over One year to overcome The disabilities caused by having a stroke.

Experiencia fantástica: I would highly recomment Physical Therapy West for treatment. I especially recommend working with Tim Thompson Physical Therapy Assistant. He was first of all very knowledgeable of the muscles and nerves affected in my particular case, but also took the time to study the xrays and diagnosis provided by my orthopedic doctor. Tim also took the time to custom tailor my treatments with particular stretching exercises and strength training to help me regain the formerly lost abilities due to my back injury. He was consistant, therough and constantly strove to help me regain abilities and eliminate the persistant pain in my lower back, resulting from a back injury and resident Scoliosis. I am greatful to Tim for his consistant dedication for helping me regain movement and flexibility and advice to help me in the future to continue maintaining that flexibility and eliminate pain in my lower back. Experiencia fantástica: I fractured my patella 6 months ago and had surgery to hold the bone together. My wonderful surgeon at SCOI, Dr. Eric Ferkel, highly recommended PT West on Canoga. I cannot begin to say how happy I have been with my experience there. Yaron specializes in Post Op and was just incredible - over the weeks, he took me from a fragile state to an incredibly strong and confident state with his expertise and persistence. Once I got my flexibility in a great place, he passed me over to Tim, who is a walking encyclopedia of PT exercises. Every visit, I am challenged, I get stronger and the time flies by. I will continue to recommend PT West and all their incredible therapists. I am not one to write reviews, but I am beyond grateful for how much they have helped me. I can walk again, do yoga and jumping jacks, and when it warms up, I hope to hit the surf again - very happy!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to many many physical therapists and I am really so happy to have found, only wish sooner, Tim Thompson...he's so great. His exercises and treatments are not the norm sessions I've had with every single therapists and usually without great results. He's so knowledgeable in creating moves specific to how you are that day, not just repeating the same ones. He can take the a lunge and move foot placement slightly so tendons are getting stretch in multiple ways. He takes it slow and really observes you movements and progress. I highly recommend him.

I was seeing another therapist previously in a long term arrangement, but my doctor determined surgery was all that could correct the problem. Thankfully, my sister in law recommended I go see Dr. Yaron over at Physical Therapy West, and it's because of his experience, knowledge, and unique expertise that I am now pain free--all without surgical intervention. I owe Dr. Yaron and the rest of the staff such a debt, and can't recommend this facility enough for anyone seeking help or alternatives to surgery.

My quality of life was horrible just getting out of a car, sitting, laying everything was painful to do. I couldn't even tie my shoes without it being an issue. Experiencia fantástica: Last year, after a subacromial decompression in my shoulder I wound up at this place. They’re great and through a lot of exercising they quickly got me back to where I could function fairly normal. The guys are all great and have different approaches. However my favorite has to be Cristal. She knows exactly where the pain comes from and surprised me every time by making me go through the roof by laying just one finger on me. Her massages do wonders. This girl knows where it’s at. Highly recommended.

She showed me exercises and stretches (which actually relieve pain) that I can easily incorporate into my everyday routine. Best of all-Crystal keeps things interesting by switching up exercises and teaching you new things each session. If you listen to her, do your homework (meaning the at home exercises she gives you) and follow her iinstructions you will improve!

Experiencia fantástica: I am an avid runner and walker. I started to have hip and knee pain, so I saw my doctor and they recommended this place to me. I came to PT West and I received great treatments from Garry (yes he let's you know it's spelled with 2 R's lol.) He was very knowledgeable, has great attention to detail and he helped me get a lot better. His exercises were very applicable to my condition and the exercises also worked other parts of my body (he said it was to help my whole body 'chain reaction') and I felt great all over. I am able to run and walk again and I feel great. I have been to other physical therapy places, but this really stands out. Garry was great and very caring! I saw him working with other patients and he was also great with them. Go here for any physical therapy needs!!!

I arrived to my first appointment in a wheelchair after having surgery for a broken ankle. I truly thought it would be forever until I would be on my walks again but I was soon walking in a boot, then with a cane and now on my own with NO pain! This is all due to the care of Yaron, the owner, and Garry, the ankle specialist! Yaron is above all passionate about his clinic! His knowledge of the anatomy is undeniable. He is an excellent listener and takes great interest in getting you to full recovery. Garry is an ankle specialist whose love for healing others shines on everyone he encounters. I've had the fortunate experience to be in his care that is above and beyond! His focus to stay on plan and his ability to change it up due when necessary makes him a true healer! The owner and chief therapist runs a operation that addresses a multitude of needs in a very positive and compassionate way. This is my second rehab there. My therapist is Crystal. Crystal is knowledgable, gifted and inciteful. I have seen my condition twice go from bad to better to remarkable. Her follow up and follow through is also excellant. The other therapists Jigs and Gary are also state of the art.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a high school cheerleader and I am a base on our competition team. I was having shoulder pain from all of the lifts and stunts that we do. I went here and Gary was my therapist. He was really amazing! He asked if I had any videos of cheerleading so he could analyze what I do specifically. He watched the videos I had then he engineered a plan for me and he got me better.

Once my conditions were diagnosed, he implemented plans and has accelerated my exercises based upon my recovery and tolerance to pain. He is amazing and goes above and beyond and shows genuine concern and empathy. I could not have asked for a better therapist.

I regained close to 80% of the mobility in my ankle after working with him for just 6 weeks. Still lots I need to work on, but it’s nice to finally see progress after all of this time!

She’s confident in her skills and has had a quick and simple response as a solution for all the issues of mine that I’ve addressed with her. The caveat is that you HAVE to follow the routine laid out to actually see improvements. Cristal will pave the path you just have to ride it.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had multiple issues with my hamstring, from strains to tears. They got so bad that I couldn't play sports or run anymore. I decided to get physical therapy and Garry worked some serious magic with weird effective exercises and he gave me some home exercises to do. After all of my therapy I was able to run again and I just completed my first 1/2 Triathlon. I can't thank Garry enough!

Cristal makes all of the exercises fun and challenging. She knows how to adjust the exercise depending on the pain. Gary and Jiggs are also fantastic. You may get one person to help you but this place works as a team to ensure the best care.

PT West has stood out as easily being the most comprehensive, challenging, and informative physical therapy I've ever had. I started this round of physical therapy with PT West about six weeks ago because my knee had stability issues as well as discomfort/pain. I've been really impressed that in this short amount of time and in only attending two days a week, my knee feels exponentially better in strength, stability, and just overall confidence in the joint. The staff is very professional, knowledgeable, and invested in ensuring that you are making progress. Yaron and Garry have been just awesome to work with. I can't say enough good things about them. They absolutely earned a five star review. And I will certainly be coming back for any physical therapy needs I may have in the future.
