Experiencia negativa: my 90-year-old father was a patient and receiving home health nursing services every week that was suddenly terminated. I called the agency to see what was going on and they told us Dr. Cantu did not like working with the nurses, wouldn't sign anything for them, and did not like them seeing his patients. One of the nurses kept showing up for free, without getting paid, because she felt bad that my father lost this assistance. Dr. Cantu asked my father to start coming in person, and I told him that was not possible. He suggested my father use ambulance services and that in person visits were needed every 2 months or his nursing services with a new agency would end. A nurse came to see him twice in the span of 6 months compared to every week with the previous one. My dad had 2 back-to-back phone appointments that were rescheduled after Dr. Cantu no showed/called us. He switched him off all of his medications with ones that had worse effects. I started searching for other doctors and home health agencies as a result of this. When I asked them if we needed to see a doctor in person every 2 months, they said that was not a rule anywhere and was complete bs. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR.
