Fantastic experience: Very professional staff.

Fantastic experience: At 70 years old, I've had physical therapy experience at various facilities for bilateral hip replacements, arthroscopic rotator cuff and bicep tendon repairs. After an auto accident I needed left knee and full back physical therapy. I was fortunately referred to Greathouse Physical Therapy -- the best PT experience in my ten years of varying experiences. The facility is top-notch, great equipment, bright inviting facility, professional, clean, and efficient staff. The staff is the best I've experienced, standing above all the others from my prior treatments, from reception, to gym, to PT rooms. The gym and its staff are great: Trevor, Sidney, Zoya, and others, all so helpful. The only facility I've been where they vigilantly made sure and helped the clients perform their exercises properly. Staff were attentive, and always made sure the surfaces were wiped down. The tech, Andrew, was always on top of getting clients to their rooms and tables as quickly as possible. I always felt better and looser leaving the facility after the physical therapists manipulated and massaged my knee or back. The PTs were always responsive to my questions. Only one recommendation I have, a minor one. I suggest a plexiglass be placed on the narrow white corner wall surface to the left of the staff counter surface where they have all the active client files, just as it rounds the corner to the mirrored wall. They use this narrow section of wall for I think shoulder exercises, and it's just a narrow white wall surface that everyone touches. It gets dirty, not easy to clean. I could be totally off base, but a tall piece of affixed plexiglass would be cleanable. I love this place, and will request to return here for my PT after my meniscus surgery.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Mindy at Greathouse Physical Therapy and I can’t speak highly enough of the care and attention I received. From the very first session, she demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and a genuine concern for my well-being. Mindy took the time to thoroughly assess my condition, explain the treatment plan, and answer all my questions. Throughout the therapy, she was patient, encouraging, and always attentive to my progress, making adjustments to my treatment as needed. I appreciated how she incorporated a variety of techniques and exercises that not only helped alleviate my pain but also strengthened and improved my overall mobility. Beyond the technical skills, what truly sets Mindy apart is her caring nature. She made me feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire process, and I always felt that she genuinely cared about my recovery. I couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re looking for a skilled and compassionate physical therapist, I highly recommend Mindy at Greathouse Physical Therapy.

Negative experience: Seriously disappointed! The actual Physical Therapists were great here and I was excited to get my treatments at Greathouse. However, the Gal at the front desk is terrible in person and on the phone. She provided zero options to get me in for treatment and when I explained my availability, she said the dates/times She gave are all I could choose from, period. I wanted to tell her off but bit my tongue. I had to wait almost two weeks to get in for my first session. After my first session i called back to find out when i should come back. She said i'm glad you called, i forgot to schedule with you before you left. Then she said it would be another 10 days before i can get on the schedule. So 3 weeks after surgery i have had one Physical Therapy session when i need 3 days per week. Her negative attitude continued when i called to say nicely i need to go somewhere else for treatment because you cant get me in, she hung up the phone. Sad.

Negative experience: I went to this place for 2 months and my Physical Therapist never saw me to check on my progress. They never checked on how I was progressing, they just kept booking me for the gym. Not only that, but they never sent the PT notes so I now can’t even book an MRI. The trainers at the gym were amazing, but my physical therapist didn’t care about my injury and never saw me.

Fantastic experience: As a physician I'd been sending my patients here for some time (including my wife), and all of them came back with great things to say about Greathouse PT. It wasn't until I needed their services myself for a herniated disc that I realized how good they were. The entire staff who helped me when I could barely stand, from Alyssa at the front desk, to Trevor and Betsy in the conditioning section, to Breanna with electrical stim, were all outstanding, professional, and caring. As for Jimmy Greathouse himself, he's top-notch, and took excellent care of me with a detailed plan that had me significantly improved the next morning. I continued doing their exercises at home and my herniated disc symptoms are 95% better after just two sessions. I'll now be going back regularly to strengthen my core and posture. I'm incredibly impressed with Greathouse PT. Beyond 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a great place for physical therapy look no further. I used to go to Jimmy at another location before he opened his own business. He is such an amazing PT that I ended up following him to his new establishment. I have a rare disability that causes spastic paraplegia in my lower extremities, so I need a lot of help stretching and strengthening. A lot of pts that I've been to just throw printed out stretches at me and never took the time to actually examine what my specific needs are. Jimmy always thinks outside the box for new ways to help me improve in strengthening,balance and stretching. It is truly hard to find a PT that treats you like an individual and actually wants to see you improve. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here now for 3 weeks after a knee replacement. I was leery because it is such a new facility (3 years). And I’m older and picky. But I didn’t want to drive halfway across town to my surgeon’s PT facility. What a gorgeous place this is, with top of the line equipment, and kind people! Their protocols are exactly what my doctor wants, I’m getting stronger, and they pay attention to you in the gym. You’re not just wandering around alone. I’m really pleased that I made the decision to try this place.

Negative experience: First let me start off by saying, that most of the people that reviewed with a five-star rating are young and may know the owner, who is also young. On my first visit for neck therapy I met with a PT and then was sent off to the gym to work with an extremely young girl to show me exercises. Compared to the last place I had PT, this place is not qualified to work with patients! On your first visit to a physical therapy place time should be spent with you by the PT, not a young kid! She was apparently not trained properly. Where I came from there are at least two people walking around at ALL times making sure you are doing your exercises correctly not dancing and socializing. Apparently thesekidsget paid to play, not work! I expected the PT to 2ork with me the first few times, making sure I felt comfortable doing everything that they recommend, after all they are the ones with the degrees. That's NOT AT ALL what I got! This young girl showed me a couple of exercises and then went dancing off with her co-worker who was equally as young, listening to music and dancing around. A professional workplace is not a nightclub. She had me do an exercise where I was hurt almost immediately. I stopped after the first try or two because I was in a lot of pain. When I told her this she said okay well then don't do it. I'll just show you other exercises. Really?! That is not at all how you respond to a patient in pain especially on their first visit! I told the physical therapist on my next visit what had happened and it was kind of poo pooed off saying it'll get better in a week. After my third or fourth visit I asked to work with the owner of Greathouse therapy thinking he would work on the damaged arm his employee had hurt. After 20 minutes of working with me he told me that on my next visit I would be working with someone else to do exercises. Again, really?! My arm/shoulder has hurt for over a month now and you're just going to send me off for more exercises???!!! I think maybe you and your young dancers need some retraining! Working with patients requires compassion and knowledge, not pushing people through like cattle. Find somewhere else to go with an owner that actually cares about his patients and knows how to train his employees! The only reason this place got 2 stars is because of the girls at the front desk. They are great!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely 5 stars! I agree with the other reviewers. After knee replacement surgery, I went here for outpatient PT. Incredibly clean & everyone working there is very knowledgeable. They are respectful of everyone's capabilities & overall it is a pleasant place to spend 3 hours/week. Fantastic experience: Wow Best in town!! Starting from the top with Jimmy down! Every single employee is fantastic!! I researched the top 5 in town and chose Greathouse! Just like the name its great! They make u feel very welcome... Your treatments and workouts they give u 1 on 1 treatment... Every person is an expert at their craft... Christine, Nikita on treatments are outstanding... Trevor, JC and Maya again outstanding making sure you have correct form on every exercise...All are very personable down to the girls up front and Mary in the back! Cant say enough...I cdnt walk when I came in after hurting back, Jimmy got me up n walking in 2 days! They have treated my back, elbow, shoulder and ankle... They make u feel so welcome that when ur all healed up u will miss working out here! Trust me, top notch owner and staff... They work n work until ur better..Dont waste ur time anywhere else go to the experts that care about your health and well being!

Fantastic experience: Greathouse is the picture of professionalism. They are clean and organized and VERY knowledgeable about the business of rehabbing, prehabbing, strength building and performance enhancing (but not with drugs :). This establishment also boasts a very "cool kid" vibe that makes you feel like you are where you need to be for the healing and phase of an injury or surgery. I personally loved the staff and facilities so much that I desire to extend my regular fitness regime to their location after my full recovery. This place is legit and on top of receiving high level muscle and joint care, you will make a friend in the process. Greathouse, you are awesome!!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't fathom why anyone would give this place less than 5 stars. It's gorgeous inside, super clean and the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. I also appreciate that I never wait more than 2 minutes for my appointment since my time is really valuable.
