The MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio offers nationally renowned inpatient rehabilitation services at Old Brooklyn Medical Center. Rehab is located on floors 5, 6 and 8.

The Senior Health Outpatient Program at MetroHealth Old Brooklyn Medical Center now offers same-day appointments for patients and employees age 55 and older. A patient seeking an appointment can call 216-957-2100 before noon to receive a same-day appointment. Patients calling after noon will be offered an appointment for the next day.

Fantastic experience: My husband was admitted to the intensive in patient stroke rehab in June for 3 weeks. He is now an outpatient for PT, OT and Speech. I can not say enough good things about our experience. The nurses, staff and therapists have all gone out of their way to get to know my husband as a person, not just a number. Their dedication and advanced knowledge of current therapeutic treatments has allowed my husband to excel in his recovery. We have a long road, but with the partners at Metro we know we can achieve our goals!

Fantastic experience: My husband had part of his stroke rehab done there!!! The whole staff is amazing, everyone from cooks, cleaning staff, nurses, aides, therapists, etc. My husband wants to go back to visit all the amazing people he met when he is strong enough!! Especially Lori (RN) and the therapists Rebecca and Liz!! Cant thank them enough or all their hard work and dedication!!
