Accident and Injury Chiropractic Irving

Negative experience: I am sharing my experience so others can make informed decisions. After being involved in a serious car accident on June 17, 2025, I visited Accident and Injury Chiropractic in Irving because I was experiencing severe neck pain and difficulty sleeping or standing comfortably. I was worried something might be seriously wrong. During my visit, the clinic told me that my issue was only a minor neck misalignment. They performed adjustments and manipulated my neck without recommending any advanced imaging such as an MRI or CT scan, even though I explained how severe the pain was. Unfortunately, my pain became significantly worse after the treatment. I later went to the emergency room through my attorney’s referral, where doctors performed proper imaging and discovered that I actually had a cervical fracture (C3–C5). I was immediately transferred by ambulance to a hospital and underwent spinal fusion surgery. Looking back, it is very concerning that a neck fracture was not suspected before performing neck manipulations. I believe more caution and proper diagnostic evaluation should have been considered before any adjustments were performed. Additionally, I later received a bill of around $3,000+ from the clinic, which felt excessive considering the treatment provided and the fact that the underlying injury was not identified. This was my personal experience, and I hope the clinic improves its evaluation process for accident patients so that serious injuries are not overlooked.

Fantastic experience: If there were an Olympic event for spine realignment, Dr. Blackman would take the gold, silver, and bronze. I walked into the clinic shaped like a question mark and left looking like I’d just been cast in a superhero movie. My back made more sound effects than a Transformer, but somehow I feel like a new person taller, lighter, and possibly closer to enlightenment. And then there’s Omore at the front desk pure efficiency wrapped in sunshine. He greets you like you’ve just returned from saving the world, somehow juggles calls, appointments, and paperwork without breaking a sweat, and still manages to remember your dog’s name. If NASA ever needs someone to land rockets *and* manage customer service, he’s their person. If your spine has given up hope, or if you just want to experience what it’s like to have a chiropractor who could double as a magician, go see Dr. Blackman and Omore. Five stars, two thumbs up, and one perfectly aligned vertebra at a time!

Fantastic experience: If I could write a book I would. This is such an amazing office where everyone will treat you good and take care of you. Dr.Marcum is the best one out there he will make you smile and take care of you like if your his family. My mom & I got in a car accident and he would always give us a huge smile every time we would come in pain or tired from a long day! Super understanding and loving person. Fantastic experience: My husband and I were hit by a driver who ran a stop sign. Car was totaled and of course we felt like crap. We luckily didn't need to go to the hospital and initially weren't going to go anywhere and were just going to "shake it off." Well I teach dance and the next day I tried to do something with my students and physically couldn't. That's never happened before so I decided to I should probably get checked out. I picked Accident and Injury because it was close to our house, had good reviews, and we could go in right away. I am really happy we went there!! The staff is the best! The doctors are so kind and really care about helping patients get better. Sometimes I'd walk in feeling blah and leave feeling 10 times better not only from treatment, but from the positivity they bring! I'm honestly going to miss chatting and laughing with them and will probably pop in every now and then just to say hi because they are just great humans. I definitely recommend going in if you've been injured. If you're unsure, don't worry, they will walk you through everything. And I wouldn't wait. The sooner you go, the sooner you'll feel better!

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! I was in a car wreck and my sister referred me to accident and injury in Irving tx. They were so nice and very helpful. The doctor there was so thorough on the X-rays and on how to help and build me back up to who I was before the wreck. They also worked with my work schedule which I know wasnt easy due to my job but they never made me feel bad and always rescheduled me with no problem (even last minute sometimes) the staff is also very nice and helpful and always made sure I felt comfortable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you are hurt from a wreck or work!! They will adjust you and strengthen you back to before you were hurt.

When I first arrived, I was in a lot of pain in my head, neck, back, leg, and pelvic area. I even walked with a limp. Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars I would for starters. Dr. Marcum gives great advice about stretching and Dr. Dixie sings (beautifully) while she is adjusting me. I’m not sure if she does that for everyone or just me because I told her I was scared to have my neck cracked, but it was awesome. She intuitively knew right where the pain was and where she needed to go first. They both put my fears to rest and helped me heal after a very scary accident. Negative experience: Dr was very knowledgeable and nice. Good Chiropractor but staff was not helpful in getting the billing done properly and in a timely manner. Not enough room on the floor to do therapies and was awkward. Not happy that I was told for 2 weeks that the report and billing I needed would be done and it took several calls to get the Dr to sign the report and and send it to corporate. I was only in the office for 1 day. Recommend Fort Worth office.

Fantastic experience: Referred here after an accident in March. Initial assessment was spot on for all my issues. Treatment began and results were noticeable pretty quickly. As therapy progressed inflammation, tension, and pain all declined steadily. The entire staff were great to deal with and super professional, and personable as well. This is truly a great treatment facility where they care about you getting better and work with you to make that happen.

Fantastic experience: Been a couple months over a year now since my services ended at this wonderful clinic. Dr Marcum and staff were great and instrumental in my recovery and healing. I learned crucial information that not just help me recover to a state of recovery but also left with body-help tips that I still use to this day. Doctor really cares and sees patients not just for the injuries but also as life students and teaches everything he knows without holding back that would help everyone not just for injury patients. I am satisfied to say that I learned things that I wished I knew even before my accident. It would be very beneficial to dealing with body exhaustion and pain. Again, great Doc and wonderful staff. Fantastic experience: It was my first experience being in a car accident and visiting a chiropractor.I was skeptical at first,but on the contrary the entire staff was friendly and attentive.The driver Henry who took me back and forth was very puntual.The front desk apprentices Ruth,Omar and Jennifer were always very accommodating and friendly. Dr.Marcum and and Dr.Alison helped me throughout the whole process of rehabilitation and were very knowledgeable especially with their sports background.Thank you guys.

Negative experience: Was in such a bad mood the first day I went in because of the pain. Staff was so professional even when I was rude. Second day I went in for treatment it helped me so much that I knew I was in good hands. I highly recommend Accident and Injury for any of your injuries caused by a car crash. Update: They will take all your money from your accident. And they don't even do anything. Everything you do there, you can do it at home. They don't even make sure you're doing your exercises. Very unhappy .

Fantastic experience: I just finished my 6 weeks of treatments and I am excited to write a review. I notice often times society likes to review when they are upset but I am writing this one to say how pleased I am. This office is professional and you don't feel like just another number. You are made to feel valued. After my first week they knew me by name and I was treated shortly after I walked in. I was able to go on my lunch break 3 times a week (in and out). The bedside manor of Dr. Marcum was better than my family doctor. He never rushed me, he explained everything to me in detail and he has a great sense of humor. I could tell after my first visit he had been in the field for a long time and knew what he was doing. The ladies that work the front were always pleasant and accommodating. I almost forgot. My back and leg are fixed!!

Fantastic experience: The best chiropractic experience ever! My back and neck were completely locked up and stiff due to an auto accident. I was in so much pain and the doctor took immediate care of my needs and the girls working the front were amazing and attentive. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.
