Fantastic experience: My first appointment with Jorge was great. He was knowledgeable, skilled and very good at explaining things. Compared with my experience with other therapy companies, he was exceptional in understanding Ehlers Danlos and fibromyalgia and working into my treatment. Both Emily and Jorge were compassionate and professional. They understood my overall limitations and were encouraging without discouraging me by pushing too far. I felt I made tremendous progress.

Fantastic experience: *Update as of Oct 1, 2025* Started another round of PT after spine surgeries number 8 and 9, with the last one being quite extensive. I'm yet again amazed at how caring everyone is. Katie immediately noticed how upright I was able to stand now. She was very cognizant of how early in my recovery I am and wanted to make sure we didn't do anything that would aggravate my incision area. She also was able to give me great options on how to modify any exercises so they wouldn't aggravate my issues further. With the amazing results of the surgeries, and now the care of everyone at steppin up, I'm really beyond excited to see how well I'm going to recover Steppin up has been my go to for therapy for quite some time now. I have had some extensive spinal issues (7 surgeries so far) and preparing for #8 and #9 in July. I came here this time around to get some therapy in before surgery so I had just that much more of a chance of a successful outcome. When it became apparent that therapy was doing more harm than good at this point after only two visits, Stephen took the time to sit down with me and have a discussion about all the possibilities moving forward. He took his time with me and didn't dismiss my concerns and answered any questions I had. After discussing withy surgeon it was decided to quit therapy until after surgery. I do like how Stephen wanted to do what I was comfortable with and didn't push things on me. He helped me make an informed decision I was comfortable with. Keshon was amazing for the two visits I was actually able to complete. He has a great sense of humor and "bedside manner" that motivates and puts you at ease. I have also seen Katie in the past. Another amazing therapist to work with. Everyone knows their stuff, has a great attitude about them that makes steppin up a great atmosphere for your physical therapy needs. Unless something seriously weird happens, this is definitely the only place I will go for my therapy needs. Not to sound too weird, but they almost make you feel like family. Like they genuinely care and aren't just faking it for a paycheck.

Fantastic experience: Stepping Up is a phenomenal place to get physical therapy.The staff is courteous, friendly, kind and professional. They greet you with a smile every time and there is laughter, which I enjoy. The therapists are knowledgeable about the individual treatment plans, targeted stretches and exercises that you need. I like all of the therapists but Keyshon is my favorite. He is knowledgeable, funny, kind, caring and a strong motivator. He listens and pushes me to do what is necessary so I can feel better even when I feel like giving up. The triple combination of compassion, targeted treatment plans and motivation plus a little laughter gives Stepping Up a A+ rating. I recommend Stepping Up on Calhoun St. The facility is convenient and great to have on the Southside of our community. Positive experience: 5/23/2025: Each star I give on Google Reviews are awarded to them based off of my experiences and the vibes I get from their Services and so far this place Rocks and I'm very greatful to have Physical Therapist that care enough about my aliments needing to be addressed and its been a really good experience so far but the work schedule I have interfesrs with the times I need to be in therapy so I am forced to sacrifice some time off work to help make these appointments. I wish we could work something out so that I can get the full benefit out of the experience I am receiving from Steppin'Up Physical Therapy. 4/17/2025: A good warm welcome hearted and sincere approach towards my individual therapy and listened to my needs at first but soon turned into an unnecessary headache with my work schedule conflicting with my recommended 2 appointments per week according to the prescription for PhysicalTherapy. I understand that other people were put into the priority list of people to be seen and do feel like I discussed my situation last week prior to my scheduling this week. With no resolution found by a scheduling receptionist and my many pleadings to find two days that would work this week, I was left with no therapy this week. I have to figure out what's wrong with my neck specifically and how to treat my injury to get better and feel better. It's unfortunate that I was told that everything is booked and really tried to find a resolution but according to the receptionist there was none. I'm not sure if this will work out if their cant be any flexibility or at least back to back appointments which even this was out of the question for this week. It really seemed like l would of liked working with the first Physical Therapist she was really nice, respectful, careful and thoughtful about my treatment plan. I wish there was some kind of solution we can figure out so that we can all be happy and I can continue to be a Steppin'Up PT Patient and hopefully someday family if we can make it that far. Well to the nice lady who helped do my first initial assessment and therapy session all in one setting and to the owner Jason you all tried to help work with me and my schedule and I really will miss yall because I felt that it could have been a good start to a good treatment of my pain. Thank you, Steppin'Up and to all the wonderful staff who work at this awesome PT establishment.

Fantastic experience: I went to Steppin' Up Physical Therapy on S. Calhoun, and it was a great experience. Although I saw Abby and Keshon the most, with progress check-ins with Jorge and Tatiana, all of the staff was amazing. They are respectful, friendly, and easy to talk with. They pushed me to challenge myself, but also encouraged me to listen to my body. I never dreaded going to my appointments. It is a very inviting atmosphere!

Fantastic experience: Love Stepping up and my therapist Jordan A1 service. I’ve been at the same office since I can’t remember I struggle with degenerative arthritis fibromyalgia nerve pain. See I used to weight 384 5’4” and did a lot of damage caring that weight which turned into two total knee replacements I also have a plate in my spine from an accident. Doctor say I’m totally and permanently disabled but I tell you what if it weren’t for stepping up my quality of life would be in the crapper. I may be disabled shoot I may not be able to do the things I used to but in all honesty who can nowadays anyways truly a God send place for me. I’d rather do therapy than use prescription drugs I may not do many things but one thing for sure I am doing and it’s enjoying life while I can thanks Jordan for EVERYTHING and I do mean everything.

Fantastic experience: So this will be a long post. Brooke Waddups. This is my second therapy session with her and she is THE BEST IN THE WHOLE THERAPY WORLD. Not only is she a great therapist she has a lovely personality, spirit, beautiful and she cares for your well being getting back to regular activities, she is a jewel. We have come to know each other very well throughout my knee replacement 12/2017 and 7/2018/ to 08/15/2018 for my right shoulder (torn rotary cuff tear). When I came this time I could not move my neck or arm. She is a miracle work. She as taken care of my mom and know my dad who is a amputee . I would not dare go anywhere else for my Therapy. If you our in a position of needing your life back as far as therapy Please Please call Stepping Up Therapy from the front to the back ITS AMAZING. THEY make sure you do what your suppose to do. Love you Brooke W and Stepping Up Staff. YOU ROCK. Well I am back again. I had my left knee done 2023. Brooke Murphy did Miracle work. I was having allot of health issues this time. COVID, hospital visit but we finally where able to get it done. Octo 2024. I woke on September 30th. Could not move my neck or my back. They RUSHED ME TO the HOSPITAL. Lots of doctors and test. Diagnosis 3 pinched nerves in my neck and back. Very painful in the hospital a WHOLE MONTH. All doctors stated THERAPY. Story will be continued. Brooke Murphy.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy I went to the sage bluff location, from my first appointment everything was professional and everyone was kind. Nathan did my first appointment to find what we needed to work on and he was very patient. I worked the most with Adam and Evie with my appointments. Adam was very encouraging and helpful, Evie shared childhood memories with me along with her sister (I don’t remember her name they were both super kind.).I’d also like to say Daniela at the front desk was extremely helpful, knew my name, and remembered small details that made the experience feel more personal. Overall the staff was OUTSTANDING! They genuinely care for their patients and their lives. I went for a few months and I can finally work without being restricted to my bed the rest of the day and I can sit for long car rides without wanting to rip my spine out. I highly recommend this business and this location specifically!

Fantastic experience: Tatiana was wonderful. In the beginning she was very informative about which muscles were causing my problem and what muscles we would be strengthening. She was very attentive while I was doing my exercises making sure I was doing them properly and if I wasn’t, working with me till I would get it right. Brooke was also very good. The whole staff, in fact, is very friendly and knowledgeable from the front desk throughout the whole staff. I highly recommend steppin up, especially the Calhoun location

Fantastic experience: Everyone is super nice. However, I worked directly with Abby. I came in thinking I was never going to get better.. however I am starting to get better slowly but surely. Working with her is always an adventure. She’s super funny, kind, and always pushes you to do your very best each and every time. She’s makes me look forward to coming to therapy.

Fantastic experience: I went in due to my right hip giving me grief. It affected my work and life in general. I went twice a week for several weeks and my hip pain gradually went away. They also gave me papers on ways to continue stretches for it. The people that worked with me were really friendly and nice to be around. Thanks stepping up physical therapy workers!

Fantastic experience: I love coming here. From the front staff, the PTs, PTA and tech's they treat you like family at the Calhoun St clinic. They work you hard but make it so much fun you don't even realize how much you are doing. It's a great friendly upbeat place that will get you better and make you want to come back anytime you need physical therapy. I always feel better every time I leave. Jorge and Brooke are very encouraging but will challenge yo and aren't afraid to change things up. They incorporated different types of activities so you aren't doing the same thing each visit. You are worked with on a one on one basis every day from start to finish and you don't get that from many places, if you do it is not to the extent you get here. Stepping Up has a wide variety of equipment available that can be easily adapted to accommodate very small children to individuals who are over 7 feet. If you want to get better and have fun while you do then Steppin Up is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: I went to Steppin' Up Physical Therapy on S. Calhoun, Fort Wayne, and it was a great experience. Although I saw Keshon the most, I also had Stephen, Brooke, and Abby, and was very pleased with the way I was treated, and the therapy I received. They are respectful, friendly, and easy to talk with. They will push you to do your best, but are also mindful when you have a bad day. I also found the office staff (sorry, I forgot their names) friendly and easy to work with arranging appointments, checking in, etc. It has a really nice atmosphere. If I need therapy again, I will definitely go back there.

Fantastic experience: Not much to say but they are great!! They look out for your needs and make sure that you are comfortable and willing to answer any question. Working with just more than one therapist, was great and exciting. They show more concern of what to focus on and help in every way. Keyshon, Brook, Katie, Abby and Steven were great to work with. Fantastic experience: Steppin' Up really helped me manage my pain from a pinched nerve. After just a few weeks of regular appointments, the pain was pretty much non-existent. I worked primarily with Brooke and had a couple of sessions with Stephen. Both therapists were very supportive, knowledgeable, and patient. They were able to demonstrate the exercises clearly. Each therapist offered massages which further helped loosening my muscles. It should be noted that at least one therapist at Steppin' Up is fluent in Spanish. They are aware of the needs of their neighborhood. Overall, I can't recommend Steppin' Up enough. They are providing an essential medical service in a area of Fort Wayne that has a dearth of health facilities.

Fantastic experience: Nice, Clean, Friendly environment. Attentive to your needs and listen to your feedback. You may not always have the same tech each time due to their individual schedules, but you don't notice the difference. They are all the same focusing on your needs. They are very knowledgeable and dedicated to help anyway they can to get you back on track. I went to their Calhoun office but I'm sure this experience runs throughout all their facilities. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Steppin up, Calhoun St infuses positivity into everything they do, from the time you are greeted at the front desk until you leave. Not just some days, EVERY day. I came for PT after a knee replacement and anticipated my visits knowing Jorge, my Physical Therapist would challenge and encourage me right through to recovery. When Stephen and Lauren led a session or two, they were great too. I highly recommend this place and know exactly where I will go if I need PT again.

Negative experience: My experience with the staff was great. I want to recognize Pamela at the front reception desk. She was very nice, personable, and always had a kind word to say. She always had a bright smile and could make my day!! Emily, Vanessa were the main staff that worked on my back and neck. They were wonderful. The dry needle therapy helped relieve the pain I was having. I recommend the South facility to all!!

Fantastic experience: Although I have been going to Calhoun Center for a few years now off and on I must say that the staff there is simply amazing. They will answer all your questions and if they don't know they will find out for you. They listen and make sure to attend to your needs. They all have gone the extra mile from my numerous times here. I have just about worked with every staff member. But let's not over look the front reception area the staff there is top tier never a bad day always polite and helpful.

From the time you enter and interact with Jackie, the front desk recetionist to the therapists your visit will be positive with a very comfortable environment. Jorge was very knowledgable with post polio and understood what I needed and would always allow me to dictate what I would be capable or not in PT. I appreciated that so much as I had not always had that in the past in other places. I had Lauren most of my visits and I cannot say enough about her and her encouragement and kindness with every visit! I also had sessions with Brook and Nick and they also would receive a 5 star review for kindness and patience. I love Steppin Up on South Caloun St. They are the absolute best! Even though I had a Steppin Up closer to me and had to drive farther, I would do it all over again. If I ever need PT again I will go there again without any hesitation. Fantastic experience: Amazing people who truly care about you. Sydney is my therapist and she is amazing at her job and friendly and funny. I love the fact that it's one on one. Would definitely recommend coming here. I'm back again. The staff has changed a little bit but the main ones are still there. My current therapist is katie. Jorge is also everyones therapist. Every single one of the staff members are still amazing and friendly. they truly do care about you. Not just physically but you as a person. I will never go to another company. I'm staying with my location because I know them and they know me. I know I will be back again because my conditions are permanent but we do things help me cope. The hours are very convenient for anyones schedule. You cant go wrong with that.100 star rating and 10000% approve.

Fantastic experience: My therapy at stepping up has totally changed my life! After a complicated back surgery with several set backs, Stephen has been able to pull me out of each one. I am so grateful for the experience I have had here. Stephen has been great! I’m nearly in no pain which I didn’t think was possible! I am hypermobile and have a lot of back issues. I love it here because they do a lot of manual therapy like massage and needling along with strengthening exercises that challenge me. Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Jordan at Steppin’ Up on Calhoun St since August, after a work related injury to my shoulder and bicep. My diagnosis was vague, and it was inconclusive about what exactly was wrong with it. He kept up with it despite the frustration, till I finally had surgery a few weeks ago. Now we’re doing mostly passive exercise. I would highly recommend Jordan to anyone. He’s gentle but we’ve worked hard, and he’s very caring. All the staff I’ve encountered are also great. I love the way they interact with each other! The facility is always clean and they play good music too!

Brooke was thorough and listened to what I was feeling. She addressed the problem, gave me exercises to work on brought relief. Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment and my therapist was Brooke had a wonderful job. Very knowledgeable and thorough. Very confident that I’ll come out of this doing a lot better. I definitely recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: My mother was provided excellent care. From the moment we entered the facility we were always greeted and attended by the friendly receptionist. The entire team was great, Lindsey and Brooke were very attentive and patient with my Mom and offered helpful instructions to me to assist my mother with home care. I would highly recommend the facility to anyone in need of PT.

Fantastic experience: Hey I had surgery on my right knee and had to get physical therapy. I heard good things about stepping up and they were right! I worked with Abby and she was amazing I actually looked forward to going to pt. She was fun and bubbly which made the experience so much better!

Fantastic experience: I had a great help from Jorge, Keshon, and a couple others when I had to switch last minute appointments. Jorge and Keshon made sure I was able to get my knee close to back how it was moving before knee surgery. They went above and beyond and they were easy to talk to and very professional! Hopefully no more surgeries for me but if something were to happen I’ll definitely come back to Steppin’ Up!

Fantastic experience: Great place to go for physical therapy. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. I worked with Brooke and Stephen for my therapy. They gave me great care and showed me a bunch of stretches and exercises to improve my condition. I feel a lot better thanks to their care.

Fantastic experience: Steppin up was great. Emily, (my physical therapist) was very supportive and fun to be around. All while being worked and pushed, she made the atmosphere very comfortable. She provided exercises for home and as for the exercises i did at the clinic, i could definitely feel my legs building more strength. Emily is the flipping best. I got a free t-shirt too.

Enjoyed receiving postcard from you about my upcoming surgery on rotator cuff, just hoping I get to have my physical therapy with y'all. The postcard brighten my day up! THANK YOU Location on Calhoun, I was receiving therapy with both knees and back pain been dealing with chronic pain for over 10 years.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience! Brooke Murphy and her team were instrumental in my post-op recovery from traumatic rotator cuff surgery and torn bicep repair. Brooke is an extremely knowledgeable and adaptable physical therapist who always looks for ways to ensure successful patient outcomes. I am very pleased with Brooke and her team at the Calhoun Office location. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Keshon and Jorge were the absolute best. Guided me through rehab process with kindness, empathy, encouragement, and humor. I looked forward to PT sessions because I knew I’d leave them better than I started and that I’d have fun doing it! Clinic is also great with scheduling reminders, rescheduling help, and all other needs. Thanks to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I could not be happier than I am. I had to get a Functional Capacity Evaluation for my doctor to give my lawyer a letter of support so I can go for disability (again). Jordan did my FCE today and, while uncomfortable at times, it was as fast as he could make it without too much pain. The staff was amazing and kind and friendly too. Great location and great Brand name!

Fantastic experience: Steppin’ Up has been my go to physical therapy group the past couple of years. They have given excellent care through knee surgery and re-current neck and shoulder issues from an old injury. My last bout of neck and shoulder tension was in the very capable hands of Jorge and Lauren.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience here Nideo, Jorge, and Brooke did an amazing job helping me go from wheel chair to using a Cain, to walking without any aid. In addition Lauren saved my moms life when they noticed she had a blood clot in her leg. Trinity was extremely helpful helping with the after care with ice, heat, and tens unit. I wouldn’t be able to walk if it weren’t for them!!! Thank you all you have no idea how much I appreciate you all.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy the entire staff at this location they are friendly and very helpful. My physical therapist Lauren has done an amazing job helping me reach my goals and motivates me to keep going. Couldn’t do it without this team of good people.

Fantastic experience: I selected Steppin’ Up to regain strength in my hand after a worker’s comp injury. I had 6 sessions with Jordan and I was immediately encouraged by his confidence in my recovery. He tailored a series of exercises to go through during our twice weekly sessions and then gave me additional guidance for strength building exercises to do at home. Breaking my dominant hand was frustrating, especially since it slowed me down in my day to day work. But Jordan encouraged me to push through and now I’m nearly back to my normal performance levels.

Fantastic experience: My doctor suggested me trying out SUPT and I did. My initial visit for the eval was with a Therapist named Brooke, she was amazing. Her bedside manner was great. Hopefully, the rest of my sessions will go as well.
