The doctor was extremely nice, listened to my every concern and walked me through every step of the way to make sure I was comfortable. I ended up leaving feeling like a new person with no added pressure and a new membership! So thankful there are places and people like The Joint!

Dr. Oku truly listened to me, made me feel comfortable, and walked me through the entire process step by step, which made the experience even better. Fantastic experience: Walking into the place it's got relaxing music going on. The lady at the front counter is super helpful and got me set up with a monthly plan to come in and get adjusted whenever I need four times a month. The doctors are very knowledgeable and breakdown everything that they do and how they do it and the methodology behind it before even giving you an adjustment. Once they're ready to give you the adjustment after finding what they find you're in and out of that, place in 5 to 10 minutes. Feeling great. Feeling new and ready to hit the week fresh. I've seen two different doctors and both of them had me feeling ready to go and tackle my work week. I highly recommend this place and have already recommended multiple friends and family. I'll be back next week for my next appointment

He listened to my concerns and felt so much better after the adjustment. Linda and Antoinette, the wellness coordinators, were both helpful and very welcoming.

Negative experience: I’ve been to a handful of locations now. I got a chiro who had no manners, smells like cigarettes, and I’m a pretty frequent chiropractor patient and he was by far the roughest and borderline felt dangerous. Was sore for days afterwards.

Negative experience: Imagine for a moment, your wife is in deep pain in her back. It's a Sunday, so your options are limited. Luckily, there's a chiropractic spot open near you. They also advertise a new patient special for only $29, even better! So you go to take her to this spot and walk in to nobody present. Looks like the receptionist called out, no big deal we can wait until the doctor is done with whomever they are helping. After a few minutes, a doctor walks out. We try explaining we are new patients, but the doctor says they are out a receptionist and can't process new patients. Your wife walks out, but you try pleading with the doctor if we can just sign some paperwork and get her treated for her pain. A second doctor walks out at this point, proudly exclaims that "no new patients today" and flips open a sign we couldn't previously see that says "NO NEW PATIENTS TODAY." Still, you love your wife and want to get her treated, so you simply ask "I understand you're out a receptionist, but is there nothing we can do to get her treated? I don't even care to pay the $29 special, consider it a normal visit." Now, for a moment, just imagine the sheer hubris it would require for the doctor to tell you the following: "We don't want you treating this like an Urgent Care, if she wants to get treated today we would have to get her on a treatment plan. She did come in with an attitude..." At that moment, you just walk away in disbelief. I plead with you, do not bother with such a rude, unorganized, disrespectful, money-hungry place. You are worth more than that $29 new patient special.

With gentle knowing fingers, he moved those little bones. When I got up, I noticed I was 20 years younger. But I still had eye problems

Negative experience: Heaven forbid you should get injured by one of The Joint chiropractors. They will simply hang up on you if you try talking to them, and they'll pretend you don't exist! I've been nothing but amicable and open to communicate and resolve this issue. But they hide and avoid taking any responsibility. After being a loyal customer since 2017 I never expected this kind of treatment from The Joint. None of my aches and pains ever went away so happy to receive treatment elsewhere. Waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: The two chiropractors I normally see are actually quite exceptional! They listen to my needs, are smart enough and well enough trained to know what to do, and I always leave feeling FAR better. I am not pressured to buy endless packages, they don't try half ass attempts to "re-shape me" (that just make my spine move far too easily), and thanks to my "fossil pricing", the cost is less than my copay would be. If there is a downside, I'm not seeing it!

Negative experience: Called on Saturday and made an appointment for Sunday for my boyfriend, who was an extreme discomfort. Advised he was a new patient, provided all of his (and mine) contact information. Showed up on Sunday before the scheduled appointment time and was turned away and told they weren’t taking any new patients. Explained to the guy that we had an appointment and was told they didn’t have a receptionist to run their system so they couldn’t honor their scheduled appointment. Would have been great to get a phone call, instead we wasted our time and gas to drive all the way there, just to be turned away. Since my time and money are of no value to them, I will never bring my business there. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time, money or energy. Completely unprofessional and unempathetic.

He has me in and out of there in minutes, knows exactly how to adjust not only my back, but my family’s. Negative experience: Watch your wallet here!! I went to this location for the new patient special about 4 months ago, and I thought the service was fine. When they tried convincing me to join the Wellness Program, I declined (it's honestly over priced). However, I considered going back until about 2 months later I discovered I had been charged $89 for the Wellness Plan I never signed up for. I called the branch, who concured that I never was not enrolled in the Wellness Plan, and I requested they remove my card imformation from my account, which they did. After, they told me to dispute it w my bank. I filed a dispute (which is still under review), and low and behold, this month I was charged again. After I was finally able to get in contact with the bank (I called multiple times over the course of about a week and left 2 voice messages that they never replied to), they noted that my bank info was removed from my account, as I requested the last time. Obviously, that meant I was being charged for someone else's plan. I asked if they could run an audit or find where my card was in their system, and the representative said that they couldn't because she could only see the last 4 of my card and it'd just be impossible (funny, bc the last 4 numbers is usually the card's identifier and are typically unique to the card. So, she was either feeling lazy or had no clue what she was talking about). I was then told I needed to submit another dispute with my bank. So in the end, I have 2 disputes with my bank and no compensation offered by the company. This is a perfect exaple of terrible records management. All I wanted was my back popped, and instead I got robbed of nearly $200! Looking through other reviews and seeing I'm not the only person who had to file multiple disputes because of this branch specifically is shameful. Find somewhere better for your chiropractic services, this place isn't worth it.

Fantastic experience: I have fibromyalgia rheumatoid arthritis and osteo arthritis on top of that I have AS diagnosed in 2018 or 2019. Walking was difficult But Dr. Arman helped me walk again without using a cane! For two and a half year I could not walk without falling so I needed a cane to help balance myself. After one treatment Dr. Arman helped me walk again without a cane! Today is my second chiropractic treatment with Dr. Arman and I am glad to be able to walk without so much pain and I am able to balanced myself without a cane. Thank you Dr. Arman and thank you Marisol and thank you joint chiropractic in Oceanside California.

Fantastic experience: Love this office. The ladies are great! I have been coming to see Dr. Lazarus for the last year, and was super disappointed to learn that he is now only here only on Sundays. I have tried the other doctors but they just don’t compare to Dr. Lazarus. I have a hiatal hernia so I need to come in frequently, since begging adjusted regularly by him I was able to live my life symptom free, but now that he is only here once a week, I can’t come as often as I would like and now my symptoms have returned. I wish he was here more frequent.

Fantastic experience: I never truly believed in chiropractic practices until I was left with no other option and was in need of serious help. I woke up this previous Friday in extreme pain in my upper left back and neck. It was so bad I couldn't even move my neck, so I went to the ER. The ER wasn't much help. Come Saturday still in extreme pain, I went to The Joint Chiropractic. I was thankful they were able to squeeze me in. I left able to move my neck with my pain going from a 10 to a 5. I was greatful because I could at least move again. I went back today still in quite some pain and left with a huge smile because my pain went from a 7 to a 2. I will be going back in a few days and can't wait to be completely out of pain once my body is adjusted back to where it needs to be. I haven't been able to sleep much since Friday because of the pain. I believe tonight I will finally be able to get some rest. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My daughter turned her neck wrong which immediately caused a sharp pain to run down her neck and shoulder area. We needed a chiropractor right away and came across the joint. The staff here are amazing!! They get you in and out very efficiently while providing excellent service! My daughter left there feeling so much better and myself relieved as well. I even decided to get adjusted while there since they were able to move so fast and it was a superb adjustment. I’ve been to several chiropractors and they are now at the top of my list of awesome chiropractors. Also they are open when you need them, even on weekends.

Fantastic experience: I can't believe how lucky I am to have two AMAZING chiropractors BOTH at my location nearest to me. I honestly can't tell you who is better, Dr. Loos or Dr. Oku. I would be happy to have either as my chiropractor for life! I've been seeing chiropractors for almost 50 years, and these two are precise, effective, efficient... and my body can sometimes be hard to adjust. Both doctors listen to the special requests I have, and work with the new challenges that come up for me. Their schedule is staggered, so I think one of them is *always* there... THIS is why I'm a patient at The Joint, and why I come to THIS location... so that any day of the week that I need a chiropractor, I can relax and trust that I'll have amazing care from one of them. I'm *shocked* how many patients they see a day, and yet, the wait is never long. At the front desk, Antoinette and Marisol are cheerful and efficient. Note: Park away from the front door. The parking lot is a nightmare of near-misses every time (in the long, narrow section in front of all the stores), so I just park in the less busy section closer to Dave's Hot Chicken, and I feel more relaxed. P.S. I gotta say, I *hope* The Joint pays these two doctors extra when they are so busy, cuz they are so good that I have followed them here from other locations... if they don't get paid for the extra wear and tear that *must* happen on their bodies with SO many patients, The Joint will wind up burning out, and losing, their best docs. P.P.S. But seriously, totally worth it to come have either one of these two work on you... for as long as they are here.
