Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Gard for a few years now and they’ve taken great care of me pre-pregnancy, during each stage of pregnancy, postpartum, and now my daughter gets adjusted by Dr. Aliya too! Drive almost half an hr each way even though there’s chiropractors less than a mile from our house. :)

Fantastic experience: 2/9/26 I have been coming to Gard Wellness for 6 years. Recently, I had surgery for a left knee replacement. Dr. Lance has been working on my back, neck and ankle. His fingers are magic to the touch. In addition, I receive the laser treatment on my knee. Everyone is fantastic. I thoroughly recommend GARD WELLNESS IN CARY, NC. 3/8/24 It is always wonderful coming in to this chiropractor/wellness center. They are very accommodating to your schedule. Everyone is very polite. Of course, Drs. Lance and Aaliyah are always great!!!! 7/19/23 - Heather and Emma always have a smile on their faces, along with Dr. Lance and everyone who works at Gard Wellness. I pay for my services that I receive there. The table with the water jets is fabulous. It makes my back, legs and neck feel so much better.

Fantastic experience: Update - 9/22/2025 Literally felt like I was walking in with bricks on my feet and after being adjusted, I literally said to the staff - “Ah… so much better. I now feel like I’m walking on the clouds!” Prior Review Dr. Lance has been great helping me recover from a minor car accident. I had pain through my neck, shoulders, and hips that we have been working to correct along with postural alignment that we have been working to correct. He is always willing to answer any question as well. The staff is helpful and friendly plus the office is always spotless.

Fantastic experience: I have been meaning to share my experience(s) about Gard Wellness for a while now so here it goes! Firstly, I’m not easily pleased about anything, and as a proud US Army Veteran, injuries sustained while on active duty or subsequently re-aggravated in the years following, have rendered me in constant discomfort. I started with Gard Wellness Center truly by accident a few years ago and trust me when I say they care about your WHOLE self! I’ve been fortunate to receive Chiropractic Care from Dr. Lance primarily, Dr. Aliya, and Dr. Evan(all of them are excellent practitioners! You can’t go wrong with either and let me add that Dr. Aliya made my fear of needles a non factor while trying acupuncture for the first time EVER! Massage therapists Justin, Brittany, Ashley and Brian are the absolute best at relieving stress and tension in my problem areas with my neck, shoulders and back! OMG, you try it for yourself to see what the fuss is about, you will not regret it! Emma, Brianna, Heather and Sharon always greet you with a warm smile to make you feel at home, that’s important to me! Whatever your body needs, you can find a service to help you get feel better! That Reset is a Blessing!

Fantastic experience: I don’t know about you but I’m a person who definitely reads reviews before selecting a new health care provider. In the last few years, I’ve been to several different chiropractors with zero to okay results, so I was a bit skeptical when I first began treatment at Gard Wellness Center. Fast forward to being a patient for several weeks now and I can now report that they really care for their clients! GWC also provides other amazing holistic care services such as acupuncture, dry needling, massage therapy, sauna etc. I truly appreciate the wonderful staff who are always friendly and supportive! Lastly, as a disabled veteran, I am grateful that they work with the VA to ensure that my plan of care is not interrupted so I can continue to heal. Thank you GWC!!

Fantastic experience: I take both my 8 month old and 3 year old to Gard and I have recommended them to everyone I know! My 3 year old is sleeping through the night for the first time in his life! My 8 month old was in physical therapy and completely stalled in making progress. After only 2 adjustments at Gard his physical therapist asked what miracle we had done with him because he was able to do so much and even they could feel the difference in the tightness in his back and arms. I always refer to them as miracle workers they are the best family chiropractic clinic in the area!

Fantastic experience: Are you one who is scared of chiropractic care? Well, Gard will change your mind! Pleasant atmosphere, attitudes and all around a comforting vibe. The ladies up front and in the back are always full of smiles and positive attitudes. Ive only ever dealt with Dr Lance, who has done nothing but stellar work. I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get back to a healthy spine!

Fantastic experience: I usually don’t have pain but I had gotten sick and because I was in my car and had to pull over to vomit for 30 to 40 min while sitting in my seat and twisting to the right, my left shoulder and neck stiffened up and my right side shortly followed. It was pretty bad; aching, sleeping was difficult and the muscle pain would disturb my sleep. The following week, on Monday, I was quickly and easily (texting system is very responsive) able to get an appointment that day. For me, they are about 5 min from my work which is also great for popping in during lunch. The adjustment was great, and I asked about massage and they also had an open spot right then. I had an amazing 1/2 hour massage with Destiny. As the day went on, my muscles continued to relax and the next day was much better as well. My sleeping got better. Went back two days later for an adjustment to continue tackling what getting sick had done. I don’t go religiously, my copay is a bit higher $65, and 4 or more times a months adds up. However, I do notice a lot of positive responses when I do. I plan to add in more adjustments and massages and focus a bit more on that aspect of my life. I haven’t tried acupuncture or their other services, they seem to offer a variety but what I have tried has been quite nice.

Fantastic experience: A little bit of Acupuncture and an adjustment this month after missing last month has me saying oh yeah! . My monthly visits energize me and get me balanced not only physically but mentally as well. Must be why I keep coming back since 2018.

Fantastic experience: Updated Review: 11/4/24. Everything is still going great for both of us. Would recommend for anyone. My wife and I saw them today for our regular adjustment. As always they were wonderful. This entire office is outstanding. I have been pain free for 1 year and 6 months. Doctor Lance Gard prepared a plan for me after Orthopedic services elsewhere for 3 months did not relieve. My wife now is seeing Doctor Aliya Gard and her plan for my wife is including their Functional Medicine program and she is getting on track with less medicine and has lost 60 lbs. They are very caring and are performing tasks that are improving our conditions and instructing us how to get and keep our body in tune. I would Highly Recommend them to anyone. If you give them a chance they will improve your health also.

I have been having issues with my knees for years and having the adjustments on my hips and back have relieved the pressure off my knees. That was problem not really my knees. Fantastic experience: The very best whole-body chiropractic care in town. I started going to Gard Wellness center in 2020 during lockdown. In the 4+ years of being treated there, the multi-talented staff has improved my back pain caused by scoliosis, almost completely eradicated my sciatica, cured my plantar fasciitis, soothed jaw pain from TMJ, broken up debilitating scar tissue from an old injury, and the list goes on. The level of care I’ve received from Dr.s Lance & Aliya has made such a difference in my quality of life. His adjustments and her dry needling and acupuncture keep me feeling my best. I must also mention their incredible massage therapists, Justin, Brian, and Destiny. All of them are natural born healers and rays of sunshine. Their laser tech, Heather is a delight to work with and she’s helped with various bouts of aches and pains I’ve struggled with. And I can’t forget the receptionists, including Emma. I have a hectic schedule and she as well as anyone who works at the desks on the technical side have been friendly and accommodating. I feel grateful to have found Gard Wellness Center and I’ve referred several close friends to the practice. I will continue to sing their praises!

After many attempts to get him to try a more natural approach to healthcare my husband finally listened and believes in the benefits of chiropractic care. Fantastic experience: I’ve had an awesome experience at Gard Wellness. They are incredibly caring and organized from scheduling, to arriving on site, to the wellness options they offer. I’ve been able to work with both doctors who do a great job of identifying the areas for improvement in my head, neck, and spine, and then proving adjustments and manipulations based on what my body needs. The infrared sauna is a great recovery tool to use, and I love that all the staff know how to help make the experience inside easy and thoughtful. Highly recommend checking them out!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to see Dr. Aliya Gard during my entire pregnancy for prenatal chiropractic care and have nothing but positive things to say regarding my adjustments. Finding a provider who was certified in the Webster technique that was highly rated was important for me. I had an extremely quick labor and delivered in one push which I believe is one of the optimal labor outcomes for prenatal chiropractic care. Now that my daughter is here she has been seen by Dr. Gard for her adjustments and I believe she is in the best hands. Dr. Gard is wonderful- she’s patient, kind, gentle, and understanding. A wonderful provider all around. I have also gotten massages done from all three massage therapists Angillo, Ashley, and Destiny who have been wonderful as well. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: 2024 - What more is there to say?! Gard Wellness continues to be an exceptional Wellness & Holistically-focused practice. Just this year they helped us problem solve the root cause of a skin issue ailing our toddler. No, they are not paediatricians but using their expertise and network they were able to help us hone into the problem and then we were able to solve the issue in conjunction with our toddler’s peds. If it wasn’t for them, our toddler would have been heavily medicated and on a series of antibiotics hoping to “shotgun” the issue. The Gard’s believe in holistical and prescriptive approaches to wellness which is why they are our first visit/call regarding all things wellness. Love this team! 2023 - If Google allowed for 10 stars, Gard earns 12. They have truly become a part of our family’s lives. This may sound sacrilegious to many in the healthcare community but when we are asked who is our primary care doctor, Dr.’s Lance & Aliya are it. Sure, we may go have blood work or a physical done elsewhere, but we ALWAYS consult with the Gard’s before any major decisions are made. Their approach to our health and family is the definition of holistic. As “advanced” as society likes to believe modern healthcare has become, we’ve had several misdiagnosis’s by the western medical community in the last few years - often at the overconfident opinion of an MD who was educated/trained on everything except the humility to say “I don’t know.” Modern insurance pays for certainty, not accuracy - thus the healthcare industrial complex. But the Gard’s have truly built something special, a practice grounded in treating the whole patient at the root. We’ve been building out an A-Team to support our family for decades to come (Financial Firm/Advisor, CPA, Estate Attorney, Nutritional + Fitness Coach, etc). The Gard’s round out that A-Team as our family’s Medical + Wellness guide. They are exceptional at their craft, and as people. 2018 (Original Review) - I originally started going to Gard due to a rear-end collision that my wife and I were involved in. After going through a consultation, I was able to express to the Gard team several injuries I had sustained over the years including some neck injuries playing football a decade earlier. To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first. However, within two weeks, I saw a significant decrease in lingering pain from prior injuries and withing two months, the nagging pain was almost gone. The team at Gard has increased my range of motion, significantly decreased and/or eliminated lingering aches from prior injuries, improved my posture, and enhanced my sleep. I have never been more satisfied with a team of MEDICAL professionals in my life. Over the past decade I have sought consultations from general practitioners, physical therapists, orthopedists, and neurologists. ALL of them, and I mean all, recommended I do two things to alleviate, not eliminate, the problem: stretching and taking pain medication. How can it be that four medical professionals from four different specialties all recommended the same thing? Why did they all recommend a way to mask the issue rather than solving the issue? The Gard team has addressed the source of the problem and not once recommended any pharmaceuticals. I fully expect that by maintaining a mostly plant-based, nutrient-dense diet, proper activity/stretching AND regular skeletal resets (chiropractic adjustments) by the Gard team that I will see almost total recovery and enhanced health/mobility moving forward. Fantastic experience: Gard Wellness Center has been our family’s go-to for all the aches and pains associated with sports and the stress of daily life. Whenever our children come home for a visit, they request that I set up an appointment at Gard. Drs. Lance and Aliya work with us to find the source of the problem and fashion a plan that addresses the issue. Sometimes the process is lengthy and sometimes it’s quicker. I mange to avoid pain from a congenital issue with monthly adjustments. In the end we always feel better after our visit to Gard Wellness.

Fantastic experience: I started going to GARD when I was pregnant with my second child. I started taking my second and third baby to Dr. Aliya when they were just 3 days old! I can’t imagine navigating the newborn stage and nursing without her help. I wish I would have known about chiropractic care during my first pregnancy and after the birth of my first child. Myself and three kids (8 yo, 4 yo, and 10 month old) go to GARD often for adjustments and I feel our adjustments are so important to our overall health. I cannot recommend Dr. Aliya enough. We drive from Holly Springs just to see her.

Fantastic experience: **update 3 years later …. I just went almost an entire month without an adjustment. I get to do CrossFit 3-4 days a week with little to no pain. I am a part of the monthly membership plan and I am forever grateful to the entire Gard team for my health. This office goes above and beyond to care for their patients! In fact my daughter has been coming for regular monthly adjustments and blessedly hasn’t needed an antibiotic since beginning care. She was having 5-6 ear infections per year prior to this. Aliya and Lance are best in class and they have a best in class team. I recommend them to everyone I can as often as I can. My fiance is under their care as well as many of my friends! *update: 6 weeks in, I am making really great progress and I’m feeling so much better. I’m so grateful to the support of the entire Gard wellness team. I definitely am still having some minor setbacks it’s not perfect yet, but it is 85% better than it was. I’m learning to make new lifestyle changes to support my body and it feels a little scary but also so good to be putting my health first ... I feel so incredibly blessed to have Dr. Aliya and Dr. Lance and the entire Gard wellness team in my life. After suffering for close to six years with horrible headaches stiffness and back pain , I sought the medical attention of the Gard wellness team. In less than two weeks I am feeling better than I have felt in years. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, professionalism and knowledge. I have worked with many chiropractors and I never realized the importance of getting an x-ray done prior to getting treatment. Buyer beware, if you go to a chiropractor who does not do x-rays prior to treatment, this is a red flag in many cases. The Gard wellness team has on site x-rays and makes the process so easy. Fantastic experience: Amazing place and you can tell it treats its employees with care and respect as well. I’ve had lots of back issues over the years and Gard has returned me to a fantastic baseline. In addition, they really work with you to ensure scheduling works for you - as I am extremely busy and can always find time to come in. I’ll be going to Gard for as long as I possibly can!

The entire staff has been amazing to work with and very helpful. Dr. Gard is the ultimate chiropractor that you need! He uses just the right amount of pressure to keep your body moving properly!

Until I started seeing Dr. Lance, I did not know that somewhere along the line I had developed scoliosis. I was in such intense pain just to walk and with time and the right chiropractic plan, that was alleviated in a matter of months. The office is a very relaxing place to visit each month and I know when I leave that I'm going to feel better for the weeks ahead. Fantastic experience: It was an excellent experience and positive atmosphere from the moment I walked into my initial consult Monday 2/5 until I walked out the door after my third visit today, Wednesday 2/7. Dr Lance was fabulous and I was very comfortable and confident in his practice. Stacey the patient coordinator at the front desk was pleasant and so informative. Heather, the certified chiropractic assistant made the entire process fabulous! She’s fun, interesting, thorough and clearly knows her stuff! 15/10 recommend. So many varied services offered at excellent prices, they do take some insurance and I look forward to my next appointment.

I was a little skeptical of the acupuncture treatment, but I had a terrible knot in my back that shows up every so often in the muscle along my right scapula & after one treatment it was gone within 24 hours! I’d had massages & cupping for it in the past, but nothing worked like this. The staff are always very nice & answer any questions I have. Now after completing the program the pain is intermittent and less painful when it does occur. Dr. Lance's positive encouragement decreases my anxiety and stress. Fantastic experience: Highly Recommend! I started receiving treatment at Gard Wellness about 6 months ago for persistent low back and right hip pain from years of martial arts training. I had seen my doctor and a physical therapist about it but the pain in my hip never left. I was seriously considering hip surgery but met Dr. Aliya Gard and she let me know they could help. Gard Wellness performed a very detailed intake complete with X-Rays and Dr. Lance Gard met with me the following week to start treatments. Dr. Lance had a full game plan for my recovery that included additional therapies to compliment my Chiropractic care. Gard worked with my insurance to make sure I got the most benefit from them. Their facility feels more like a spa than a medical office and their entire staff is engaging and happy to answer questions, a very comfortable space. My pain has abated and my my general maneuverability has increased from my sessions for the first time in over 2 years. I appreciate all of the care Gard Wellness has given me as a patient.

Fantastic experience: I have left Gard a review before, but needed to leave another one because they CONTINUE to raise the bar for the care they give their patients. I have had some very unfortunate things happen to me the past 3 weeks, and not only are they there to help me keep my body/mind healthy- but Dr. A recommended a new hobby & even helped get me started! I’ve had some difficult life circumstances that have made my visits inconsistent…not the best for my care but the staff has been so open and non judgmental.
