Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Davis at The Joint Chiropractic in Salinas. When I first walked in, I was barely able to stand. I was in excruciating lower back pain due to two herniated discs at L3 and L5, hunched over and relying on a walker just to get around. Fast forward just two weeks, and I’m now walking in without a walker and feeling only minor pressure instead of constant pain. Dr. Davis has truly changed my day-to-day quality of life. I’m able to move, function, and live again in ways I honestly didn’t think would be possible so soon. I also want to give a huge thank you to the young woman at the front desk. She greets me with a smile every single time, remembers my name, and makes me feel genuinely welcome. That kind of service is rare these days, and it makes a huge difference. Between the care, professionalism, and compassion, they’ve earned a customer for life. I’m incredibly grateful.

Negative experience: Zero stars if I could. First off, I have been a patient here in the past. Had a great experience and was able to manage my back and neck issues. As a result, I recommend my partner to visit them on a Saturday, after he had a back issue that limited his walking. He went in and allowed them to talk him into signing a 2 month plan. Fine, he literally went twice in about 6 weeks. He attempted to go in to cancel, and they explained he needed to wait the full 2 months. He went in today to cancel, and they refused until he had a final evaluation by a doctor, said he needed an appt, and scheduled him for the end of the month. He is a people pleaser, and walked out frustrated not knowing what to do next. I went in afterwards, I told the young lady at the front; Lily, that I had been a patient there, and never had issues, and was able to cancel when I wanted to (after my 2 month plan, which I had actually wanted). She said no, and said that per their policy they wouldn't be able to cancel until the doctor did one last evaluation, and sit down with him. This is the last where I lost it. I very firmly told her No, and that this was not going to happen. I explained to her that he wasn't coming back, because: 1. He has a regular chiropractor and this was meant to be an urgent 1 time thing. 2. He works unpredictable hours 3. After this unacceptable behavior on their part, he no longer wanted to go into their office. I also explained to Lily, how the business is doing unlawful behavior in not allowing their memberships to be canceled as easily as they are to sign up for, its literally the law. She wouldn't budge, and frankly I no longer wanted to speak with her. I asked her to please give me the number to wherever I needed to call to escalate this, and I told her that I was canceling all future charges from their facility as well. She wrote the number to corporate, and handed me 2 business cards. When I got home, I was going to call corporate right away, and to my wonderful surprise she wrote down the number incorrectly, she added a whole extra digit. I googled the corporate number, and because it's Saturday was not able to speak to anyone. Ironically, their message queue says if this is about canceling a membership, to visit the clinic. I'm not doing that! This is so absurd and ridiculous, I don't know what makes them think they can treat patients/customers like that, and I'm surprised they are still in business after doing all these shady things. I called Lily to tell her that even though she gave me an incorrect number, I was able to Google it, and I told her how at first, I understood she was doing her job and this is obviously what they train her to do, but that now she made it personal by deliberately giving me an incorrect number. This is awful and I'm planning on filing a complaint with BBB as well as AG office. Their "policy " for canceling should change immediately, and again, I'm not sure if this is an issue in this particular office only, or if this is their business model. Either way, never stepping a foot in that office, and as a previous patient here, please look elsewhere.

Negative experience: The cancellation policy was not clearly or honestly explained. I was told I could freeze my plan and cancel before it restarted, but when I tried to do so, I was told I’d have to pay to unfreeze the plan just to cancel it as there was no way around it and there was nobody else I could talk to. Being required to pay additional fees simply to cancel after a freeze feels misleading and inappropriate.

Fantastic experience: Really convenient service ! Within one hour I was in and out. Went online booked an appointment at 11am Got there at 10:45am for forms. Walked out of there at 11:30am The consultation with the Dr was super informative and the adjustment made me feel instantly better . Definitely recommended

Positive experience: Ad said pay 29 for Consultation with adjustment. The price range of the membership plans was explained however it was not stated that i if I move forward with the consultation that I had to be part a membership, which I had to pay that day of the consultation . So I could not just pay the $30 for the consult treatment and decide if I wanted to move forward or not. The decision was taken from me and I ended up having to pay 120.00 as a single mom of 3 with 1 income, that is a lot of money for me. This is not to say that the staff was not nice and pleasant. They were nice and polite

The whole experience was so easy and organized right from the start. I set up my appointment online, and then got a great call to confirm—a nice touch! The check-in process was simple, the business structure is straightforward and highly effective, and the plans are easy to understand. My "tune-up" adjustment was excellent, and I felt great walking out. I'm going back tomorrow! If you're looking for organized, easy, and effective chiropractic care, you will absolutely enjoy this location!

Negative experience: I normally don’t leave reviews, but my recent experience deserves to be shared. I called to cancel my plan since I haven’t been able to make any sessions due to work, travel, and moving. Instead of a smooth process, I was met with unnecessary pushback from the staff. When I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor, another receptionist named Lili got on the phone. Her tone was unprofessional, loud, and sarcastic. She insisted that cancellations can only be done in person and, when I asked for a copy of the cancellation policy or to speak with someone above her, she told me there was no one else I could talk to and said, “That’s how it’s done, you just don’t like it.” That type of response is completely unacceptable. Customers should not be belittled, cut off, or spoken down to when making a reasonable request. If in-person cancellation is the policy, it should be communicated respectfully and with clear instructions—not attitude. If you are the owner of this franchise, I strongly urge you to train your staff in better customer service. A receptionist should never escalate a situation or make a client feel disrespected. Professionalism, patience, and basic courtesy go a long way in retaining clients.

Negative experience: If you’re looking for chiropractic care I’d stay away from this place. Went on a wellness plan and came to my adjustments, but instead of feeling better I started to feel worse. So I stopped going and called to cancel my wellness plan but they insisted I needed to come in to speak with the doctor to see what they can do better. I didn’t end up going in to talk the doctor because I had already made up my mind. I then owed a balance, and paid it off, and they continued to charge me even without me going and clearly specifying I didn’t want to continue with the plan. Asked for a refund and they said they couldn’t provide me my refund because they didn’t do that and due to me needing to come In person to cancel when I could’ve just canceled my plan over the phone. There is way better chiropractor spots in town than this place. If I could give no stars I would.

Fantastic experience: 3rd time visiting I’ve had a consultation and adjustment from two doctors here and I’ve enjoyed the experience of both. Dr. Davis is great at explaining . The front desk lady is also super nice and answering questions especially when offering membership or packages. The pops from the initial session were satisfying and my necks and hip discomfort had been so much better. I totally recommend it’s been making my mobility and lifts in the gym more comfortable. Love that I can walk in whenever I’m in the area with the membership and easy to use app.

Neat/clean office and Fred took Great care of me so I ended up getting the Membership UPDATE; Services were good but I cancelled my Membership in March in person and still got charged. Cancelled again in April and still getting charged through July now. Called and continue to get the run around (we don’t have the signed document, oh yes we do, manager not available….) Horrible!! I need my refund

Negative experience: We have been coming for over a year and my experience was always pleasant with Dr. Davis. He was always very professional and attentive to my needs and concerns. Recently they changed doctors and staff. I right away notice the receptionists were not professional at all! We started to see Dr. Joe and we instantly disliked him. He had no bedside manner and had time to deal with my personal needs! He treated us like a number and wanted to finish with us as fast as possible. He even went as far as to states “ why does everyone need to come at the same time!” With attitude while there was other patients around. I had no choice but to cancel my membership. While doing so at the front office Dr. Joe had the audacity to come from the back and said “ oh you have a cancellation! I like to see their faces when they are canceling!” As he walked away with a smirk on his face.

It had been years since my last adjustment and I was in need of getting my neck, lower back, and shoulders adjusted. It took a while to get my muscles loosened up, but I go get my weekly adjustment and it's always fulfilling and satisfying until the next visit. Fantastic experience: I can not say enough good things about this place, Dr. Joe has been nothing but informative and supportive throughout the whole process. My daughter is 5 months old and we primarily went for her reflux and constant throwing up. It’s almost been a month and she has significantly improved since the first visit. The whole office is amazing, the front desk staff is helpful and setting up treatment plans was easy. I now bring 2/3 daughters there to see him, and I would refer you to him in a heartbeat. Fantastic experience: I’ve been suffering from headaches for a little over a month, had mri’a , ct scans , 3 different type of medications , 3 hospital visits , 4 doctors visits and no solution to my headaches until I seen the joint chiropractic online seem some reviews and the pricing gave it a try and now I have a monthly member ship it’s not a contract like other places . Not only is the pricing great but also the service from the girls in the front to the chiropractor himself. I felt immediate relieve ! From the first day I felt no headache for the first time in a long time and I was able to sleep so good. Now I follow my visits and go to fix what needs to be fixed so I don’t feel these painful headaches . Strongly recommend this place !
