6 months ago Negative experience: I have submitted multiple requests to cancel my membership, yet my account remains active. This is not the first time I’ve asked, and it has become increasingly difficult to complete what should be a simple process. Initially, I was told I could not cancel because I had not held the account long enough. Now, I am being told that because I no longer reside in Alabama, I must complete cancellation forms that cannot be emailed to me, only mailed. This requirement causes unnecessary delays, especially since I was previously informed by an office in Texas that the cancellation could be processed easily on your end. As of now, I am expected to wait an indefinite amount of time to receive and return a physical form—if it was even mailed to me. At no point during the initial consultation was I advised of these restrictions. On the contrary, I was assured the account could be managed from any office, which was a key factor in my decision given my military career and frequent travel.

7 months ago Positive experience: This was a unique experience in health care for me. The business model is one where there is a monthly fee for a set number of visits. The initial consultation required an appointment, but thereafter, visits are first come, first served almost in an assembly line fashion. Pros: the staff is very friendly, the doctor was professional, the cost is reasonable, the waits don't seem long. Cons: There is no privacy. The consultation and adjustments are made in an open room. Neutral: it is very heavily online oriented. All paperwork is texted to the patient and downloading the app is encouraged, but not required. That could be a negative or positive depending on your preference. I'm happy with the service provided, but I wasn't thrilled about the lack of privacy.

7 months ago Negative experience: I’m very disappointed. I was not informed when signing up that I would be locked into 2 months. I went through my bank and had my card cancelled only to have my new card charged without ever updating it with this place. Had I known I would have been locked into for 2 months I would not have signed up being that I live paycheck to paycheck and I never know how the next month will be. The most disturbing thing is how I still got charged even though the card I paid for initially was not the same card number they charged for the second month and I never updated it. Regardless of the treatment, full disclosure of the lock in should have been verbally discussed prior to payment.

8 months ago Negative experience: Worse customer service!! Went the end of April Dr Maddox did a great job so I decided to join did not realize it was for 2 months!! Dr Maddox left and they only had two small women one had to have help doing any adjustments on me so since Dr. Maddox would no longer be there, I wanted to cancel!! That's when I found out about the two months. I told them I wasn't driving all the way to Montgomery for someone that could not do anything for me. She would not let me sign a paper!! I had to cancel my card!! I looked at my checking account today they got the new card and they have been charging me ever since. When I called they said I would have to come all the way to Montgomery to sign a form. They wouldn't let me sign the last time I was there!! Do not sign anything with this company. The little girl in the front says she's just doing her job so you will not get any help from her!! Would not recommend this place to anyone!!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I’ve never really seen the need for a chiropractor but I pulled my muscle and the pain was NOT going away. Long story short, my wife made me an appointment and as reluctant as I was I went and realized that almost immediately I noticed that the pain level had dropped quite a bit, not gone but I was able to walk much better and as the hours passed I felt better than I had in seven days. Anyway, I thanked her several times for making that appointment! I’m going back today for a follow up. I would highly recommend “The Joint Chiropractic” to anyone, in fact I left the business card at the restaurant hoping someone else would benefit the same experience I did.

Adjustment was great and I felt improvement immediately. Fourth visit was good but they are short staffed and since walk in only had to leave after 45 minute waiting . Now on 5th visit and same thing - only 1 Chiropractor on duty 25 minutes and still sitting here

1 year ago Negative experience: Updated Review: IT WAS GOOD UNTIL IT WASNT GOOD! After a couple visits things were okay until a different doctor adjusted me on my third visit name Dr. Grant who not only adjusted me but stretched and pulled at my legs, glute and more causing me to tear up, which he heard me say but continued. The next day new found pain in my pelvic area and right leg was overwhelmed with pain and tingling. The joint was informed. Went back to Joint to see if they could ease the pain...WRONG it only got worse Grant suggested a imaging to see if the adjustment caused alignment issue...joint was informed again of continued pain. Dr. Grant informed the owner Tresha McCoy Brown I heard from her over a week later as she allowed the lead Dr. Wilson to call me twice before speaking with her, Dr. Wilson adjusted me to try to fix problem though it did not resolve on its own also teared up during her adjustment I've tried to resolve this issue only getting that I have to pay for imaging even though these symptoms were all new! I came to joint for back and shoulder/Arm issue not a new issue that they say is common, but no genuine sympathy just their doctor Said this and we agree and support them just well give you free visits why would I come back to a place that caused new issue? Would you? I do not recommend this place! No since of comfort! Seeing a chiropractor was my last result of relief after a car accident 5 months ago now instead of getting two issues fix I now have three that resulted in extreme pain and limping. They even tried to hold me responsible for not continuing with visits outlined in a wellness plan that I just received two days ago. Furthermore asking me about an adjustment by one of their other doctors that's never worked on me but was counted against me on my bill, smh!

We love using analogies that most people can relate too, to help patients understand Chiropractic Care. Similar to going to the gym with no pain & working out with a Trainer, it’s completely normal to develop new pain a few days later. In this case, pain is not indicative of a problem; it’s a sign that the Training Session is working.
The same holds true for Chiropractic Adjustments. New soreness or soreness in another area of the body is a Good Sign the spine is straightening & shifting other areas of the body back into proper alignment/position.
Dr. Grant is an Outstanding Chiropractor! We highly recommend using the ice pack we provided you & for you to follow the stretching instructions the Doctor gave you.
As an additional courtesy, the owner also gave you 4 Free Visits (valid for use until September 11, 2024). Stopping Chiropractic Care now, would be similar to stopping future sessions with a Trainer because your body got sore in new areas after working out with the Trainer. We hope this analogy makes sense & we look forward to seeing you again.
1 year ago Positive experience: Great service Thursday 8/1/24. Sat 8/3/24. I felt like everyone that was in with me for adjustments was getting the same treatments nothing custom for my body. Everyone was on the table for 5 mins or less. Same doctor., I felt like I was helpful but a hurry up visit.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: An absolutely amazing experience. Doctor Wilson was amazing. It was my wife and myself 22nd anniversary and our first time, and we were super nervous. The manager at the front desk was amazing. She was super professional and also quite helpful. Doctor Wilson absolutely calmed my wife and myself with her patience and professionalism. I'm a big guy and honestly was nervous that they wouldn't be able to help me. DOCTOR WILSON ACTUALLY WAS LIKE THE SHE HULK She was able to crack areas that I had no idea needed it. 1 year ago Negative experience: I wasted almost 200$ here by doing that 6 visits in a month there is no cure at all also they say takes time. When we first came here they said it will be cured in a month 8 visits. For first 4 visits for cure , another 4 for review only. But after 6 visits also no use for me. 2 years ago Fantastic experience: I love this place! Each visit that I have, I leave feeling better each time. I can't figure out what's the petite Chiropractor's name is, but she's great at what she does. I saw some reviews where they were saying that they didn't like the open space. At first, I felt that way but now I blank everything and everyone out because they techniques that they do will have you to do so. Their specials are great! Try them out of you haven't yet.

2 years ago Negative experience: Only one chiropractor on hand. Not a private setting all the clients are in one big room at once. I felt very uncomfortable when the chiropractor was doing my adjustments. Me and my son is over 6"2 and weigh over 250lbs the chiropractor we had was very small and petite not saying she couldn't do the job but we had to assist her when moving around. I just think it should be more than one chiropractor in the office man and women to give different options. Also I was uphold on a 2 month plan without giving me the option to choose different plans. UPDATE: I never had an option to choose a chiropractor it's was only 1 available. Also you need to make it visible to new patients that adjustments are done in an open setting. I think it's a violation of hippa laws to discuss medical issues in front of other clients. For ex blood pressure readings and discussions joint and muscles problem while other clients are watching and listening

2 years ago Positive experience: This was my first visit. Since I was a new patient I had paperwork to fill out which didn’t take long. The facility is in a great area of town. It was very nice and clean and the staff were professional and friendly. The chiropractor was excellent and explained everything well. The only thing I didn’t like is the exam is done in an open space where others waiting their turn can see you, which made me a little uncomfortable . My past experiences/visits were done in private rooms. Nonetheless I got a great package deal and will be going back for follow up visits. I wasn’t sure if there was only 1 chiropractor there and if so maybe there should be more.

2 years ago Fantastic experience: Dr. Harrell and Wilson are both great. Their demeanor and bedside manner speaks for them. I’ve had a great experience as well as outcome from my visits to them. I highly recommend them to anyone that has to deal with pain on a daily basis. I’m not a physician and I can’t/don’t speak for any physicians but see if you can get a referral to see a chiropractor and if your doctor refers you Consider The Joint Chiropractic East Montgomery.

2 years ago Negative experience: I cancelled. They never have availability and should open at 8am to accommodate more clients. They get too many clients to accommodate . I waited over 45 minutes to be seen!

2 years ago Positive experience: First let me say I have not been seen here, however wanted to write this review to let others know who are considering— if you are over 300 pounds you can NOT be seen at this location. Their table doesn’t support any weight 300 and over. But the ladies seem very nice. Would’ve loved to give them a try but will be going elsewhere.
2 years ago Fantastic experience: Great service I have to admit I was a little reluctant to try this just due to the fear of thinking this was a ruse or scam but overall the team is very friendly they put my mind at ease quickly and reassured me that I was going to be ok and I was doing it for the right reasons. Dr Wilson was very informative of the reason for my visits and gave me tips on what could be causing me so much pain throughout my body after my session I can say with full confidence that it is a necessity that you check your alignment as adult because the pain disappeared within minutes and I have never felt better

2 years ago Positive experience: I was driving through Montgomery and stopped at The Joint. The staff and the Chiropractor were excellent and She adjusted me to my liking. I will say she takes her time hence the longer than usual wait compared to my home clinic, but I was impressed with her interactions with the other customers. They helped my daughter pause her sessions when she goes out of the country for Christmas. The only negative comment was the bathroom was very dirty and had a black ring in the toilet and the sink was also dirty. I was a bit surprised as this is a medical facility. I would go back but I would not use the restroom.
2 years ago Fantastic experience: This was my first experience & The Joint Chiropractic and I must say I just appreciate the customer service. My appointment was at 12:00 I arrived at 10 and asked could I be seen, they made it very easy for me to check in and also to get me to the back to be seen. Never the less the time was perfect and the staff was very understanding. I’m glad I chose this practice because most places don’t accept walk ins and they accepted me with no hesitation. We need more facilities like this.
