Fantastic experience: Whitmire Chiropractic has the nicest knowledgeable staff. They really want to help you feel better.They teach you excellent stretches and physical therapy exercises. I highly recommend them to anyone with back or neck issues. They have chiropractors, massage, and physical therapy there, all in one place!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Whitmire is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I saw him today and he took plenty of time to gently explain something scary going on with my spine. He educated me on my condition and explained what to do next in a very caring, comforting way. He’s also the only chiropractor, I could ever relax enough to receive an adjustment. I highly recommend Dr Whitmire, he was excellent.

Negative experience: Waited an hour in the lobby after my appointment time. Filled out the same info online and in the office. Once in the exam Room I was asked another round of similar questions by the medical assistant who entered them into the computer. Then waited another 15 minutes for the doctor who asked me the same questions filling them in on the computer. It was 90+ minutes after my scheduled exam that the actual doctor visit began. I was then pressured to pay for services before they were adjusted by my insurance company. I agreed to pay half of the amount that they said was owed. Once my insurance processed the claim I was due a refund of about 60%. Chiropractic services were acceptable. I won’t be returning.

Fantastic experience: I can’t possibly say enough about the staff and the process for healing Whitmire Chiropractic provides. I have been getting chiropractic treatments for over forty years and no one has even come close to the rapid healing I have received. Everyone from the PT folks to the doctors are TOP NOTCH!. What really stood out to me was the focus on physical therapy. In the past, I’ve been to chiropractic offices where they hand you a sheet of exercises and send you into a room to do them on your own. That wasn’t the case here. At Whitmire, someone worked with me one-on-one through every single exercise. They checked in constantly—how I felt when I walked in, how each movement felt, and how my body responded along the way. Before I even saw the doctor, I had already received a full, guided therapy session. It felt intentional, attentive, and personalized—not rushed or generic. Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. This place led me on for 2 weeks that my insurance would pay for my treatment and 2 days before my appointment they informed me that I would have to pay out of pocket $200+ for my first visit. I had given them all my insurance information when making the appointment and even stopped by the office over a week before my appointment to pick up paperwork to fill out and they said it's all electronic. No physical paperwork. Plus they took copies of my ID and insurance cards. They also want patients to do paperwork through their portal which I prefer doing paperwork in person so they scheduled my appointment 2 hours early to do the paperwork before seeing the chiropractor, which is ridiculous! All other doctors (Cardiologist etc) it might take 15 minutes to do paperwork! The receptionist might sound nice and knowledgeable but they Lied to Me and Wasted 2 weeks of my time that I could have been finding a therapist that took my insurance. If they can lie to a patient about that, they are Not Trustworthy to do the job they claim to do! If you want to be seen here, be careful.

Fantastic experience: Every single member of this staff is so knowledgeable, welcoming, and extremely caring. They have really gone the extra mile to make me feel heard and address any issues I'm having. I feel like I've finally been able to make a lot more progress that I haven't been able to make in years of routine visits and standard pt.

Fantastic experience: First, they are personally positive when you arrived by calling you by name and welcoming you in. The PT therapists are all Excellent at their jobs. They pay attention to you. They do not gossip, but instead are kind and positive with their patients. They are very organized, and before each visit they have you electronically sign in and give a quick PT update. They review how you're doing also during your treatment and just before you leave. I would recommend Dr Whitmire chiropractic clinic to everyone.

They really make sure that you are taken care of, I am 25 and with severe neck and shoulder and lower back pain and I always leave better than I came in. The adjustments does wonders on my back. Make sure you follow their instructions and do your exercises at home as well! They work wonders and make your pain so much better! Remember we aren’t getting any younger so we need to get STRONGER! You might be sore for a couple days but that is normal and will get better with time. Thank you everyone for your amazing service! So we asked his doctor 2, please find us an another one to refer him to . He's been coming here for a while and he absolutely loves it. He loves Doctor and everybody else that works there. They make my son feel so comfortable & safe & they take the time to ask him if there’s anything that they can do to make My son visit more Comfortable. Fantastic experience: I can't walk more than a few...no Wait! I CAN walk 15 -100 steps today and hopefully more in the near future because of coming here. No one believed I was in pain and I was left trying to make due to pain and suffering of my lower back. I am literally treated so bad that just before he gave me a brace today I couldn't do much. I was told I was lying and I wanted attention from my job and strangers. I had many verbally mean things said to me for not performing my walking skills right. With the experience here, exercises, and now a brace I am able to take a short family walk!!! I am able to spend more up right fun time with my children!!!!!! No one, I mean no helped me and No one believed I was in pain that could of helped me. This office did help me!!!! Only here!!!!!! I am greatful for this place and thankful for the brace, exercises and experience of being heard. I would have been homeless if it was not for here!!! But still might because of workman comp.

Both chiropractors and the physical rehab specialist Ive worked with are amazing and super friendly as well. Their scheduling is super flexible and when I was in super bad pain I was able to do a walk in appt same day. Front counter is always super friendly and the response time is always super quick over text. They go beyond any expectations I had. I'm super thankful I get to experience healing with this team ❤️

Negative experience: The initial appointment was very thorough and encouraging. IMMEDIATElY afterward, I received pushy request for an online review. I'm glad I waited a beat..... Unfortunately, there were several issues: This clinic conducts "physical therapy" in one half of the l waiting room. Thats with however many clients happen to be there at the time. No privacy curtains. It is exposed and felt very uncomfortable . I prefer not to have an audience. The technicians are young and inexperienced. Sweet, but fresh out of school. Neither confident of effective. They all have the same script, which doesn't inspire confidence. As the client, one does all of their own PT, with little to no assistance or correction by the clinicians. (to learn how to do it at home, supposedly). HOWEVER, Zero information or printouts regarding the stretches and exercises, were provided. The prescribed equipment never arrived. I switched clinics after I was forgotten in a treatment room for over 30 minutes waiting to see the doctor. When I came out, five staff members were standing in the waiting/ PT room, on their phones. Doctors rushed. The treatment seemed mass-produced. PT was HumIliating. The staff was apathetic. They make a lot of money on services they barely provide.

Fantastic experience: Been going to Whitemire since I moved to the Salem area. The only doctor I've seen with any type of consistency over the last 40+ years has been a chiropractor. JP's office and medical staff are the best as well as my results. Love them! My oldest son just started going there also since I recommended Whitemire’s clinic to him and he’s getting results he badly needs! Thank you Lord!

Negative experience: I made a new patient appointment for my baby, myself, and was going to schedule for my husband as well. My son's appointment was scheduled first for Monday and mine the following day on Tuesday. A little over 3 days before his appointment I noticed a text I had missed saying they cancelled his appointment because I hadn't filled out his intake forms yet and missed their confirmation call. If I schedule an appointment and I have 3 days before the appointment, especially when it includes a weekend, I expect to be able to take the weekend to fill out the intake and set up patient portals. I'm a working new mom and manage our household. I don't always have time to monitor my phone insistently to ensure the appointment I scheduled is kept. I know I'm not a special case and there are many mothers and fathers like me. So just a heads up. I'll be getting my family on with another chiropractor. I was looking forward to having my family go here as I took my time picking a chiropractor for us- especially my 8 month old son. However, it's clear that the way the office is run will not work for my family.

Negative experience: Their policy is to see a patient "within half an hour of the stated appointment time", according to their receptionist this morning. After waiting for 40 minutes this morning, the patient was brought back to be seen at 29 min minutes after their appointment time (they arrived 10 minutes early as is the standard practice for medical visits). It took another 15 minutes before they went to get the doctor. So... Total wait time of almost an hour to begin the appointment. The waiting room was loud and chaotic. Lots of children running around. The calm pictures online do not represent the feel of the place in person.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish everyone at Whitmire Chiropractic office was awesome! Dr. Whitmire himself was exceptional when working with my kids- my 8 year old loved going to see him and looked forward to each visit! My 3 month twins also got to see him, he was so gentle, informative and patient with them. He even put one to sleep! I told him that I wish I would have known about him when my colicky 8 year was a baby! I would 100% recommend their office.

Negative experience: So, I like the equipment, like how thorough they are. But, it's like a dang circus most times in the front area, I have PTSD and anxiety. So, I canceled the rest of my appointments hoping that they would ask if there is a way or time to make me more comfortable. Wasn't even mentioned by them. My rating, 2 stars.

Fantastic experience: What I appreciate the most is the doctors goal is to rehabilitate to not need them has often. That doesn't mean they are not willing to work with me, but they are setting the stage for me to have some relief so I can do more work on myself with other physical intervention. I do my chiropractic work the day I do personal training to gain the best results of working out.

It’s not only an adjustment, it’s also a little physical therapy to remind me of what I should do on the daily. Oh! and the massage is excellent. Probably the first medical professional to not point out I'm over weight (I'm already well aware of the health risks) and looked for issues caused by something other than obesity which is helping me with manage my weight loss

Negative experience: This company has phenomenal service when they actually honor their scheduling. Myself and my son both go here and between the 2 of us have been rescheduled half of the appointments that were initially penciled in. This has pushed the healing and recovery process out more than a month extra. I am a busy working mom of 3 and to have these appointments constantly rescheduled, especially on the day of- has me all out of sorts and scrambling to replan. Needless to say, we will no longer be going through Whitmire. Consistency and dependability are key to a successful business practice. It builds trust and the desire to return. I am very disappointed and beyond frustrated with this company.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to soooo many chiropractors over the last year that couldn’t care less about the patient’s needs that are in front of them. That is not the case here. They genuinely care and are willing to take time with patients, and treat the individual like AN INDIVIDUAL with the compassion that they deserve. I want to give a shout-out to the entire team for being patient and understanding (out of all of the teams I have visited in the last few years). This is the first place I’ve been where they didn’t blame everything on insurance and were actually willing to give me a full visit and listen to ALL of my concerns. Most other chiropractor’s will pop your back and send you on your way… quickly and machine-like!
