Fantastic experience: Book the appointment! I can't recommend this office enough. I’ve had a few adjustments now at Chiropractic Professionals of Columbia and have seen both doctors, Drs. Benson. They are a husband and wife team who are excellent at what they do and genuinely listen and care. I’ve seen three other chiropractors in the past year, and they made my issues seem much worse than they were while pushing expensive treatment packages. This office is completely different, they are honest, upfront, and fair with pricing. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, and they also offer additional therapies. I highly recommend Chiropractic Professionals of Columbia.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars isn't enough! I had been to chiropractic clinics in the past and felt like it turned into a huge money suck with little real results. It's different here- I had been in pain for months and my neck was an issue for over ten years. After my first adjustment and treatment, I fell asleep on my couch for 10 hours straight! By the 3rd visit, I didn't have any pain at all anymore and I realized I was no longer constantly rubbing the side of my neck from chronic pain anymore either. Life changing results from down to earth practitioners --oh and up front reasonable pricing too!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this office for a few years. The doctors and staff are always very professional and helpful. Maggie and Paul always make me feel welcome. Both doctors have helped me tremendously. I always leave feeling better emotionally as well as physically! Great place !!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bryant and Dr. Benson are skilled, caring, and very personable. I came in more than a year ago to address back and leg pain, and within 4 weeks I felt no pain. Paul, the rehab therapist, is amazing! Now, I visit periodically for maintenance to make sure I am properly aligned. I tend to alternate between Dr. Bryant and Dr. Benson to experience the best of both of their techniques. I highly recommend this team to anyone in need of chiropractic therapy. I was skeptical of chiropractors at first, but this team has brought me relief. I am no longer a skeptic. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Benson is the best and most known chiropractor I have ever been to! He has helped me with my SI joint issues, spinal alignment and TMJ issues. He has even helped my vertigo! Can’t say enough about this practice!

Fantastic experience: I started going to Chiropractic Professionals of Columbia for a routine adjustment. I did not realize how many curves and lumps there were in my neck and spine that needed attention. I let Dr. Benson know that I have sleep problems and usually only sleep 5-6 hours each night. After my adjustment, I went home that night and got 9 consistent hours of sleep! They are amazing people and do everything in their power to relieve all pain you may be suffering from! I highly recommend coming in and starting your chiropractic journey here!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Benson and his wife & team are fantastic. They help with many alements you may face, even ones you don't even know you have. The muscle stimulation really helps with nerve issues or muscle aches you may face. They normally put them on the small of your back and the shoulders, but you can ask for them to be placed wherever you have pain. After the stimulation, you move to muscle stripping to really relax the muscles after stimulating them and lossen you up for the alignment table to follow after. The alignment table is used to help get the spin back in alignment and allow you to relax for the immediate adjustment right after. The adjustment consists of many different things depending on what's aleing you or from what Dr. Benson has found wrong from his assessment. I myself have had: knuckle cracking, neck adjustment, toe cracking, hip alignment, knot repair, and so much more. Dr. Benson does everything pretty much free hand, while his wife uses tools to help assist each way of adjustment free hand or tools can help in its own way or do the same for you. The person who mainly helps with stimution, muscle stripping, and table rack is Paul, a really nice guy. He helps or does everything before the adjustment, mostly. He plays music on request at times and tries to really make it to where you're most comfortable. Everyone here really makes it feel like a family, and I hope you'd give them the chance to try and make your ailments go away. First-time visits are $80, follow-up visits are 40, and they do take insurance if your provider would allow it.

Fantastic experience: I went to the clinic in September 2023 after being injured in July. I went to the orthopedic doctor 2 times no relief I hurt my knee and back I limped tiill September. My very first visit I was walking with out a limo due to my back issues the knee still required orthopedic but the way they helped me. Even addressed my migraine issue. I am so grateful and would recommend them to anyone in search of a good chiropractor.

As a hair stylists taking care of my body can be so hard but they always take great care of me and i leave feeling 100 times better than when I walked in!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Benson and Dr. Bryant are very professional and have a wonderful staff. On my first visit, I could barely turn my head but Dr. Benson assured me I would get better. I couldn't be happier. I've also had other pains and have gotten great advice from Dr. Bryant. I like seeing both of them. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had something come up last minute and called to reschedule for later in the week and had no problem changing my appointment. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place!!! I have never been so grateful for a doctor as I am for Dr. Bryant. I woke up one morning a couple months ago and was not able to hold my head straight or turn it without a lot of pain. I called a lot of chiropractors, and everyone said they were unable to see me, but I could schedule an appointment in about 5 days which would cost around $200. I called Chiropractic Professionals of Columbia, and they said I could come in within 2 hours. It is a small family business which is exactly what I always look for, and this is very evident in their treatment of their patients. The moment I walked in the door, everyone was so attentive, giving me a tour of the practice, asking if I wanted water, explaining every machine and what they would be doing to help me regain proper alignment. I have been to chiropractors before, and no one has been ever been as attentive or concerned about my spine as Dr. Bryant. She explained my X-rays to me and told me different stretches I could do to help my neck between appointments. My first appointment, I was there for about an hour and it was still so much cheaper than any other place I had called!!! I was very impressed with everything they did to help me, from the muscle treatment and muscle stripping, to the roll table, to actually cracking my neck so that I could move again; overall, it was an amazing experience. I still go back on a regular basis because it feels like such a treat to myself, and I fully trust Dr. Bryant that she will take care of me so that I am not in that much pain again. I would highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: They are AMAZING!! Just got done with my first visit and I feel like a new person! From the muscle relaxing therapy to the adjustment, recommendations and education, this place has it all! Friendly staff that takes the time to care for your individual needs and get to know you as soon as you step foot in the door.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to Chiropractic Professionals of COLA a year ago (October 2022) because of two separate injuries I had from the year before (2021) and then three months prior. I had seen orthopedic specialists and been to physical therapy, but nothing helped to relieve my pain and discomfort until I came here. At my first appointment I met Dr. Benson and he did my X-rays, muscle stripping, adjustment, and stretching. I loved that he talked me through every step of the process and explained the reasons why did he was adjusting me the way he was etc. Most importantly, he listened to and believed me when I said that I was in pain and it was unbearable. Not being heard and believed was one of the reasons I had gone so long suffering without resolve. Not only did Dr. Benson hear and believe me, but he also legitimized my pain, told me why I had it, and then fixed it. When I got up from the adjustment table, I wanted to cry. Not because I was in pain, but because I had gotten accustomed to feeling pain, and when I didn't it shocked me. Dr. Benson and Dr. Bryant are amazing doctors and even better people. Thursday is my favorite day of the week because I get to see them and leave happy and feeling relaxed. I recommend this establishment to anyone who will listen because it is worth it!

Negative experience: Interesting that I am one of the only people who doesn't feel that this place deserves five stars. Dr. Benson and his staff are great and friendly and all, but I do not feel like I got the care that I needed. I was x-rayed and they showed me that my hips were very off but did not use that information to target those problem areas specifically. It was just the same routine each time and when I mentioned something about it, Dr. Benson assured me that he was going to do my hips and not to worry about it, but I feel like he should be aware that each patient is different. I always felt comfortable coming here but this is the main reason that I moved to a different chiropractor along with the fact that they charge kind of exorbitant missed appointment fees, and they did not accept my insurance for some reason. The new place I go to, Flex, does so I don't have to pay out of pocket every time which is nice, and they have already outlined a plan for me in two visits. Edit: I got a call today from Dr. Benson in which he told me that I am lying in my review and that if I do not change it, he will sue me for defamation so let me clarify a few things. He wanted me to know that they have never charged a missed appointment fee but instead of saying this to me in a professional manner he accused me of blatantly lying. I would never make something up; I genuinely remember seeing a sign that mentioned the fee but my bad. He also said my review makes it seem like he never touched my lower back, but I did not say that I just said that it didn't seem like the care I was getting was adequate for my diagnosis. In addition, he said that my insurance was not accepted because my deductible had not been met which makes sense but the way in which I was told this is unacceptable. I was also told that he expects "better" from me and that he is disappointed in me. I am your customer; I am not your friend and the reason I wrote this review is because I think that you can do better for your customers. I do not appreciate the unprofessionalism that came with me not writing a glowing review but am keeping the two stars solely because the younger girl who works there is amazing.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience! Although I had been in chiropractic care for 12 years at another practice, I was still having a lot of shoulder pain. Dr. Benson did an X-ray, and it showed my shoulder was out of alignment. I had been in a lot of pain and had mobility issues in that shoulder. One adjustment, and I went from about 50% mobility back to around 90%. I slept on that shoulder for the first time in two years! Thanks so much, Dr. Benson for figuring out what was wrong!

Fantastic experience: Wow! This is by far the best service that I have received from any Chiropractor. I have suffered from neck pain and headaches since my bout with Covid over a year ago and could not get any help or resolve from my primary Dr. I found them through a google search and I'm sure glad I did. They are absolutely the best!

Negative experience: Went for my first visit early June and they said my insurance isn’t covered, which at first I thought was weird because I have a very used insurance company that’s taken in most places, I just stayed because my neck was bothering me for a while. They do x-rays and the doctor, a woman I can’t remember her name, did my adjustment, maximum was with her for 5 minutes. Then they proceed to put me on two machines and I was “good to go.” I just thought that for the $120 I just spent there should be a little more one to one in the appointment rather than the 5 minute adjustment. In my past chiropractors it has never been this quick. I didn’t really want to return after my first appointment and I checked with my insurance to see other chiropractors in my area that take my insurance and behold on that sheet is Chiropractic Professionals of Columbia. Maybe just because I’m a young woman they thought they could just take my money and I wouldn’t know any better, which would be very unprofessional. Called my insurance and they confirmed they do take my insurance, so they took my $120. Could be a mistake but if not I hope they feel good about taking a college girls earned money.

Fantastic experience: I have had chronic back trouble spasms for most of my life, and a flare up of plantar fasciitis recently had me stressed about my running career. I have been to four appointments and I have literally walked out with improvement every time, no recent spasms! I have seen orthopedists and physical therapists and literally no one has given me any relief for my feet until Dr. Benson attended to the issue. I would 100% trust my feet, back, and athletic career to this place.

Fantastic experience: So picture this - it's your first time ever at a chiropractor (lower back pain is REAL) and you honestly don't know what to expect. You've seen videos of people getting back help and you're slightly intimidated. But then you step into the doors of Chiropractic Professionals of Columbia and immediately you are put at ease. Fantastic experience: My entire body spasmed so badly that I could barely move enough to come into Dr. Benson's office for emergency treatment. I have been a chiropractic patient for years in several other states and have never received the kind of expert care I am receiving now. Fantastic experience: I went here for the first time today and loved it!!! After trying many chiropractors around the Columbia area and not being happy, I finally found a GREAT ONE!! Fantastic experience: I was skeptical at first and then thought what do I have to lose I’m in so much pain already let’s give it a try… I am not exaggerating, I have not been pain-free in over eight years maybe and when I say I had the best night sleep last night the sciatic nerve pain that normally elevated down my leg is not all the way gone but on a pain scale from 1 to 10 it is now a two prior to this visit it was a 10+. So grateful!!!!

Shea at the front desk was very nice and welcoming, she even educated me on a few things. Dr. Benson...out of this world the most amazing Doctor I've ever met! Dr. Benson really took care of me. Fantastic experience: My husband and I both go here anytime our backs are hurttng or we just want to have our backs popped. They go through a whole process of massaging the muscles before your popped and I love that so does my husband. They are all really nice and take there time to hear your needs. Fantastic experience: I have had back issues all my life and gone to chiropractors on and off over the years. I've had some great experiences, but I just had my first visit and I have never had an adjustment like that before! It was amazing and Dr. Benson and his staff are wonderful!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Benson and his staff were great during my visit. I was shown around the whole office which is very nice, very clean, and expertly taken care of and sanitized. Dr. Benson really took the time to make me feel comfortable, and help me understand every aspect of the treatments we were going to do. Dr. Benson was able to help start relieving my pinched nerve pain through a series of excellent procedures that produced good results. Fantastic experience: Such a great place! This was my first visit to a chiropractor and everyone was very welcoming. They explained what was going to happen in detail and step by step. I was just expecting to get back cracked but they use different methods to get your muscles and bones relaxed for it. Very friendly staff. I slept like a baby for the first time in a while and made another appointment for the same week.

They take the time to explain everything. I was very hesitant to try chiropractic care for my back issue and after weeks of PT with minimal results I had to try something else. Fantastic experience: I made a last minute appointment last Tuesday around 1:30 & they saw me at 4:30 the same day. I was unaware of what to expect with it being my first chiropractic visit, the Dr was fantastic! Everyone there seems very well experienced and very friendly. I felt like an brand new person. I’ve experienced severe neck pain that causes headaches and trouble sleeping, and can comfortably say that I still feel great after my visit! No headaches and more restful sleep at night. The staff makes it their top priority to make sure you’re 100% comfortable and have everything you need. The company also follows enhanced COVID-19 protocols which include disinfecting and sanitizing each machine after every patient and utilizing a constant hand washing and temperature checking process. Within 5 mins on the phone they were able to schedule to see me that very same day and to get my insurance processed!! Fantastic experience: I’m not sure of where to start. I’ve been experiencing back pain since 2015 but I first experienced a chiropractor October 2020. Two days ago, I began to feel excruciating lower back pain and tried to make an emergency appointment with my chiropractor but they weren’t available. *then a light bulb went off and said call the chiropractor you pass every single day while working* When I called Chiropractor Professionals the women who answered sounded so happy to be speaking with me and was more than willing to fit me in immediately (like within hours). Let’s just say, I’ve gone there three days back to back (to include today) and I’m never ever going anywhere else! From their customer service to lovely personalities ... they’re the best!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been doing chiropractic adjustments for over 5 years now, and this is by far the best practice I have been to. The staff/environment is so friendly and fun to be around. And the patient care was phenomenal. I’ve been weightlifting seriously for a few years and really heavy over the last year, and over this time my back has took a major beating. I left the office and my back felt brand new. I was even able to get other parts on my body looked at, and I am so thankful for deciding to go. Fantastic experience: This office is hands down amazing!!! They have done so much for me and my wife. They have fit us in same day over 10 times because we have both had bad spine issues over the last few months and are quite busy, so that alone has saved us thousands in lost income as small business owners. I went from screaming in pain and unable to move to back to work pressure washing in literally 2 days! I couldn't believe it as 9 years ago I had another chiropractor really mess me up and that took me a year and a half to recover from, so I have avoided them since. I read some of the reviews and agree with all of them, Dr Benson and his entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable and so in tune with their work that all they have to do is look at you to tell where you are having issues!!! I told Dr. B I was having neck pain and the touched the spot instantly and boy was he on the nose! Every time I go see them I leave relieved and on my way to new! They also do massage (Paul is excellent) acupuncture and so on! I am beyond impressed with the level of care and passion from the whole staff, Mrs & Mrs. Dr. B are both the best chiropractors I have seen to date and I highly recommend them to all my friends and have taken my kids to see them when they are in town for a visit!

Fantastic experience: Blown away is an understatement!! This morning during my very 1st appointment, Paul touched my back for about 4 seconds and immediately told me where I was experiencing pain. I didn't even have to tell him! The doctors and staff handle you with care and make you feel very relaxed. I'm amazed by how great I feel now. Can't wait until my next appointment! Fantastic experience: I don’t do neck cracking popping or any sort of bones involved. But! Dr.Benson took care of me today. His humor is out of this world he makes you feel comfortable. Not what I expected. Paul has soft hands.and Shay the receptionist is sweet also. I recommend him 22 years in his field that should account for something.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday afternoon I rode with a friend and was waiting in the car. She came outside and said, please come in and give it a try he has really helped me a lot. After an ex ray and a review of my history, the healing began. I was suffering from neck pain, sciatica and stiffness. Today I woke up able to spring out of the bed feeling much relief. Fantastic experience: Very compassionate, caring, & knows their craft. The first Chiropractors ever that have helped me. The new addition to their group is Paul, the certified massage therapist, he's just as caring, a people person & as well trained as Drs. Bryant & Benson. I come from Camden , well worth the trips. Genell Reed 2 Oct. 2020 I showed up with a t-shirt that looked like a shirt front with spinal column in center with jacket with lapels, orange, white & black. It was perfect for Chiropractic appt. & for Halloween month. Dr. Benson just had to have a picture. He is a fun person but most of all he is extremely skilled at knowing exactly where to adjust. He's the only Chiropractor I've been to that helped me. I never had any relief from any of the others. They have equipment & devices for any type of problem areas you're having problems in. They treat athletes & old ladies like me with serious injuries from falling. I look forward to going to my appts. because they have caring hearts & I feel the relief from a 76 year old body's aging & not knowing the proper ways, through the years, to protect your body when lifting, etc. Everything is thoroughly sanitized after each patient, masks are worn by all. Extra precautions are taken from the minute you enter.
