Fantastic experience: My experience at True Life Chiropractic has been excellent! From scheduling an appointment to to checking out, is efficient and simple. I had shoulder pain for a couple of years, I had gone to a couple places, and they wanted to do physical therapy, steroid shots, and even surgery. I went to True Life and got a full adjustment and haven’t had any shoulder issues since! Being from Bush Alaska, True Life makes it simple for me to be seen when I come to Anchorage, and most of the time they are spur of the moment trips. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have had chronic and debilitating back pain that has prevented me from even sitting or laying down comfortably, much less walking my dog. Just saw Dr. Mike and while it’s a little sore I feel immediately better and am home now walking around like normal an hour later. I’m aware there’s no quick fix and I can tell it’s gonna take a few visits to get me back to full function, but the immediate relief IS AWESOME. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: So Grateful to have met Dr. Mike Michaud. Aiden helped me take care of paperwork’s quickly. I have had neck pain since I was 17 due to a snowboarding accident. I’ve been to a few other chiropractors, acupuncturists, and did some cupping work, I’ve also had over 400+ trigger point injections and nothing has worked as good as Dr Mike full body adjustment. He is also very knowledgeable about the body. After he did my assessment he explained to me in great detail what was causing the problems I was experiencing, and what he was going to be working on. Once I got adjusted, I left his office with a smile on my face and feeling light as a feather. Fantastic experience: Well, I have to start off with this wasn’t just a back adjustment. This was an emotional release as well. lately my sciatica has been acting up and dramatically getting worse till I came to see true life chiropractic. I tell you what…..he left no bone unturned I was having troubles Going from a seated position to standing. My lower back felt like it had been on fire before I went to see them. I had instant relief, and when he was done, and we were having our conversation afterwards, I literally started crying because of I The relief I had. Fantastic experience: True Life Chiropractic, now this is where you want to go! I have seen Chiropractors since I was in High School for various reasons and most recently for primarily shoulder and arm numbness. He asked a few questions, evaluated and began the adjustment. He did not just adjust my neck, back and ribs as others have done (and then they had me back for several visits never really solving the problem). He also showed me that my collar bone was out of alignment, my shoulders, legs, he basically adjusted my whole body! Wow, Wow I had full range of my neck which i haven't had for several years now, I could lift my arms above my head when before I couldn't raise the above my shoulders again a persisting problem for several years now. I felt liter and moving with easy and no discomfort. This lasted it wasn't just for a day or two. I did go back for some more on my arms, hips and tailbone that my message therapist notices and again, he adjusted everything that works together to give me a good frame. It has now been several days since my adjustments and I feel great, the best I have in a very very long time. He doesn't mess around and keep you returning more than necessary! He is amazing. Now I will tell you he is a great Chiropractor and when you are out of alignment it takes some serious adjustments to put things back, not these fluff adjustments that really don't do much and give you barely any relief. I guess what I am saying you will feel these adjustments which to some may be shocking at first, but he helps you through it and when you get up and are walking for a bit you definitely notice a change for the better! I would recommend him over and over again. Save your money and See Dr. Mike Michaud.

Fantastic experience: After an adjustment with Dr Mike I feel euphoric. I’ve been adjusted by many different chiropractors but I’ve never felt the same way I feel after one of his adjustments. It’s not a cookie cutter, go through the motions and send you on your way. Its a whole body alignment. Fantastic experience: I’ve always had a decrease in my symptoms after seeing Dr. Mike, and increase range of motion. He is very in tune with what adjustments need to be done. I’ve seen other chiropractors who only address one area, and have high rates. His office happily works with my insurance, and openly offers additional services.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Michaud is an amazing chiropractor! I found him as I was entering my 3rd trimester of pregnancy looking for a solution to my low back pain. After just one session with him, my pain subsided tremendously. Fantastic experience: Dr Michaud is great. I come in out of shape, and leave, with less pain, standing straighter. I’ve tried other practitioners and highly recommend him above others. Dr Michaud cares about his patients and goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable with the care. Making sure to warn you when it will hurt. Sometimes you have to endure a little pain for a Greater relief. I will always come back :-)

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend True Life chiropractic enough. I waited a month to write a review just to confirm how great of a job he did. I walked in limping and hadnt been without pain in my hips and back for weeks. One session with Dr. Mike and I felt 20 pounds lighter. It took about a week for my body to adjust to the adjustments but I have been pain free ever since. I’ve been to a lot of chiropractors- this was the best experience I’ve had

Positive experience: Prices seem really low. Chiropractor does a good job and has a fancy chiro bed. Dr is a bit too chatty for my taste and definitely is a bit strange. One example of his oddness is he scrolled through his phone’s saved photos to show me pictures that were irrelevant to my adjustment. Honestly anyone who scrolls through their phones photo albums in the view of a complete stranger is either a very trustworthy person and harmless OR a serial killer who’s great at covering their tracks.

Fantastic experience: Had my first visit yesterday. From the time I walked in the door until the time I left I felt right at home. The ladies at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. Dr Mike is amazing and very friendly. He took the time to explain everything to me and listened to everything I had to say. If you are looking for a professional environment along with friendly staff and yes that includes the dog that will make sure you are met as soon as you come in, this is the place for you. I have already scheduled my next appointment and Im looking forward to it.

Went to see Dr. Mike and after the first visit I had a huge improvement of mobility, less pain and over better quality of life while doing day to day activities. Fantastic experience: Dr. Mike & his team were great. I have been dealing with quite a bit of back (and other) pain that is pregnancy related. My midwife recommended on top of PT or prenatal massages to visit the chiropractor, which I already had experience with in the past. He is well versed in pregnancy-related adjustments and the Webster technique. He makes one feel at ease and relaxed, not stressed, even amidst dealing with pain. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: When I came in and notified the brother what I had going on with my body and my neck, he knew exactly what it was -pointed out certain things with my collarbone and adjusted me properly. Fantastic experience: I had endured 3+ weeks of an increasingly terrible pinch in my neck. Their office fit me into the schedule, and after a full body adjustment, I woke up the next morning "cured" of my neck pain. The adjustment style was a bit more aggressive than I'm used to, but my entire body feels better and I'll definitely go back to Dr Mike.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mike is awesome! I will preface this by stating that I am a chiropractor. As for myself, I have had chronic pain and dysfunction for a long time after many injuries. I have had over 400 hours of massage, hundreds of acupuncture sessions, and other a thousand chiropractic adjustments by hundreds of chiropractors. I have prayed for years to find a chiropractor that delivers treatment like this. Last week I had an exacerbation of neck pain leaving for a 2 week trip to Alaska. I had 4 massages, 1 acupuncture session, and 4 chiropractic adjustments before leaving Florida but was still in pain with restricted range of motion. Dr. Mike’s office was the first I called after a quick search. Speaking with Dr. Mike on the phone he asked what type of adjustments I preferred, and explained that he was a bone setter. I would receive full spine and extremities manual adjustments. He told me to show up when my plane landed and he would get me taken care of. Dr. Mike proceeded with an exam and full body adjustment. His techniques and philosophy are very similar to my own and he explained that he was going to move everything that needed to move. We both believe that many times there is some pain and discomfort associated with healing. Dr. Mike provided the best adjustment I’ve ever had. I’ve had thousands of adjustments by hundreds of chiropractors and some osteopaths. Hands down, nothing comes close to this treatment. My nervous system had a major release, and my pain and movement improved immediately. After the adjustment Dr. Mike made me an electrolyte drink to facilitate the healing process. Every aspect of his care was extremely thorough and complete. I cannot thank him enough for his passion, skill, and kindness. As I travel to Alaska semi regularly, a stop at his office will become routine. I am even considering planning a trip solely oriented around received care from Dr. Mike. If you’re ready to heal this is the office for you. Dr. Mike will do what is necessary to get you back to health. If you think that healing should not include a little discomfort, this is not the practitioner for you. However, I can assure you, after seeing hundreds of practitioners and received thousands of hours of body work, I felt some of the most profound changes in my body and nervous system in just one treatment. Thank you, Dr. Mike!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Michaud is a wellness warrior kind of chiropractor. He’s going to adjust you properly from head to toe. He doesn’t waste his patient’s time with a partial adjustment and a “See you next week”. If you truly want to be well and have a truly positive quality of life changing experience book an appointment with Dr. M. If you want to hold on to something to whine about, he’s not your guy.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 service. Friendly and knowledgeable, Dr. Mike listens and remembers your pains between visits. He is considerate and gentle around prior injuries while providing the power where you need it. He was recommended to me and I will recommend him in the future.

Negative experience: Came to True Life with my infant to get assessed and possibly adjusted. Dr. Was very talkative and friendly, however, I went into this with limited knowledge about adjustments on children. That being said, forcefully cracking a babies neck and spine is not only unnecessary but its dangerous. I solely want to make this comment public because I saw the Dr twice and both times he used force and my baby cried. Please don't make this mistake with your newborn/toddler.

Fantastic experience: Front desk: Great service, welcoming vibe, respectful, and very kind. Dr. Michaud is simply Spectacular & Fantastic. I injured & dislocated my left ankle several times & my hips as well during Martial Arts trainings; One day when he visited the Martial Arts academy, he took a simple look at me and literally just did his magic (adjustments) and fixed my ankle & hips less than a min. He discovered several of my injuries & pain just by seeing me walk, he fixed & saw what X-rays & other Doctors concluded nothing is wrong. I’ve return to him past few months now to heal my past wounds & injuries, and I must say; I feel like actual Human and feel rejuvenated & enlightened every time I visit him. Fantastic experience: Skeptical? I was too. I walked around with unexplained pain for weeks, pain that stayed at a 7 while taking the max ibuprofen and Tylenol for over a week. I went to the ER multiple times because my back pain was making it hard to breathe and I got no answers. Finally because I had no other options and nothing to lose I came here. Who gets so many 5 star reviews? Can this be real? I had to see for myself. My only regret is not coming sooner. This practice has a great environment, welcoming front desk and the chiropractor was amazing. He knew his stuff, but was still able to treat me like a human instead of a patient. To say I feel better after going there would be an understatement! In the weeks since my pain has gone down to zero! I can move, breath and hold my baby with no discomfort! A real life saver and I’ll definitely be back for follow up.

Fantastic experience: This is the absolute best experience to have. I am former military former athlete and back issues have me more than uncomfortable at my age. The fear of my back locking up bending down to put food in my pups bowl or sweeping is all but gone. After starting treatment it fills me security and comfort and relief that i look forward to during the week. Important to note I much more prefer this treatment than prescribed drugs and muscle relaxers. i will be having my mother attend this treatment soon out of pocket if she has to. I recommend to any veteran especially and any person in the area with a back issue. Make sure you talk to the puppy named Buddy there he is extra handsome is your a dog lover like me.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Dr. Mike since I was a kid. He’s funny, energetic, and takes a personal interest in all of his patients. He takes his time to talk to and learn about the lives of each and every person that walks into his office. I work in construction so my body can take some wear and tear, but Dr. Mike is so thorough in his adjustments that I can be out longer before having to come back. I have come into his office unable to move my back or neck and left with SIGNIFICANT increase in range of motion. I’ve been to other chiropractors and have never had the same results that True Life achieves. Dr. Mike truly deserves all the good words that are spoken of him.

Fantastic experience: Dr Mike is the best chiropractor I have ever been too. I’ve been in the military for several years and have recurring lower back issues. Mike’s expertise and knowledge is unmatched and has helped me continue to perform at a very high level. My wife also started seeing Mike because she was having some issues. The staff is very friendly and if you're lucky an adorable canine will greet you at the door. Dr. Mike's adjustments are time efficient and effective. Fantastic experience: I have suffered through various spinal and lumbar injuries for years. Have seen different chiropractors over the years, with minimal relief. I still needed pain meds. I moved here from Montana recently and needed a new Dr. I took a chance and picked his practice...it was the best decision I have made in years! Fantastic experience: Not all chiropractors are created equal. I’ve been seeing another chiropractor for five sessions and kept leaving his office still in pain. Luckily, I found this place. After one appointment I already felt more relief than when I went to see the other doctor. I would highly recommend him! He’s very thorough and make sure he does a detail job and helps you.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Michael is absolutey amazing, a true pro who really knows what he's doing. He's very kind and lets you know whats really going on with your back and/or limbs. When I first came to his practice my back was a complete mess. My back has been bad for years after many years of manuel labor, current desk job for the past few yrs, general bad video gamers posture my whole life, the list goes on. Long story short a had a pretty good fall that locked up my back completly, I could barely walk without excruciating pain. Thank God a friend of a friend told me about this place!! After a few visits I felt like I had a new lease on life. I love the fact that they do excellent work here that is very affordable, in turn you can get the care you really need! I can' t say enough good things about this practice, keep up the fantastic work guys!

Fantastic experience: Both my boyfriend and I went to see Dr. Mike this week for adjustments due to stiffness; his in his back and mine in my neck. Fantastic experience: I absolutely love my visits to this office. I have been going to chiropractors off and on since I was 12 (now 31). Most doctors are very robot like...get in and get out kinda deal. At true life, the doctor is very personable and likes to engage in casual conversation with his patients to figure out who they are and what their concerns are. Personally, I really appreciate how much he cares and tries to put in adequate time with all of his patients. As for the body adjustment part....he gave me the most thorough adjustment I’ve had in the almost 20 years ive been going to chiro. He gets 5 stars from me ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Positive experience: I am 34 weeks pregnant with hip and back pain as most pregnant ladies have. I do believe chiropractic care along with other healthy living styles do help in managing my hip and back pain. I chose this place because of my insurance coverage and because the person at the desk seemed caring, understanding, kind, and knowledgeable. However, my first impressions weren't great of this place and I still have mixed feelings after going two times. For those of you wanting a more drawn out answer here it is... Firstly, It didn't seem near as professional or organized as other chiropractors I have been to. As I was signing paperwork, the doctor was just in the lobby watching funny videos on his phone. He didn't read any of the papers I signed or go over those things or a treatment plan with me during the first adjustment, which seemed odd. He didn't take xrays which also felt a little odd since all the other places I have been wanted xrays and sat down with me looking over those xrays and then talking about a treatment plan. When the doctor brought me back to the adjustment room, he talked a lot about himself and never really seemed to listen to me or go over what he was doing and why. It's as if he wasn't listening to me or didn't care and just has the same protocol for everybody. The second time I visited, he did take into consideration that I needed him to be more gentle with his adjustment, because it was a bit painful the first time. Overall, still not sure how I feel about the doctor, or the massage therapist I visited (who just saw things differently than I do about massage therapy), but I do like the doctor's dog that comes with him to work, the person at the front desk, and the massage chair in the lobby. I am still choosing to go to a third appointment as I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe I will bring some of these observations and concerns up with him at my next appointment.

Fantastic experience: Michael is an extremely talented individual. His energy and vibe made me feel extremely comfortable during the entire treatment. I came out feeling relaxed and in high spirits! 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have had a bad shoulder for over ten years and seen many chiropractors. This is the only one the gave me relief after one treatment. I was able to hold my posture without pain and only had to make another apt in 6months for another treatment I had never gone that long without pain. I would recommend this chiropractor to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Great adjustment and all hands on without the little gadgets that most use. Had 2 visits and has gotten everything from hands to neck to back and feet. Does not pressure you to come back 3 and 4 times a week like most do. Glad I found him being new to area.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mike is a G!!! I have been skateboarding for 24 years and I work in a hardware store where I’m on my feet all day on hard concrete floors. Being a skateboarder I have tasted the ground more then a few times and I’m in constant pain from so many years of repeated damage to my body. The doc hooked me up about 6 years ago and I don’t think I took the treatments as seriously as I should. I started seeing him again as of recently and it’s the best decision I have maid for my body. I’m feeling great once again and I’m looking forward to getting back on a regular adjustment schedule. Thanks doc you are the best!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Michaud is the best! I’ve been to a few other places in town and they weren’t able to give me the relief that I needed, or they didn’t listen to me. After my first initial visit, I felt a big difference. Working on my third visit and my migraines have gotten so much better.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing, these guys are the best! They were able to get me in the same day that I called and after 2 visits I was 90% back to feeling like my normal self. Dr. Mike is knowledgeable and friendly and the gentleman at the front desk explained exactly what my insurance covered and any costs upfront. I also have had my first therapeutic massage there and wow I can't vouch for it enough. My therapist was amazing and I left feeling more relaxed and with markedly less tension in my entire body. Give them a call, you won't regret it :)

Negative experience: *** update 3/5- I have since left this office as of today. He is never on time. I was his first scheduled appointment, but he pulled another patient back before me. Not only was I supposed to be his 1st patient, he was not on time for work. The first office visit was an hour and half wait. The second was 45 minutes, and this time, I was there 20 minutes before I decided to cancel my appointment and walk out. They are not considerate of your time as a patient. I have a job that I have taken time off of (that I can't even really afford,) for these appointments, and he was never on time. Mid February- I don't write many reviews on Google, but I had to for this. At 32 weeks pregnant, I've had pelvic and back pain almost my entire pregnancy. Just after my first session, I felt like I could actually walk without having pelvic pain at all. I've literally been in so much pain that my back would lock up and it would take me a few seconds after getting out of bed to walk. So thankful I scheduled an appointment. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The BEST chiropractor I have ever been too! A couple months ago I fell hitting my head. Recently I have felt light headed, dizzy, and a headache. After an alignment, I feel 100% better. Dr. Mike explains everything throughly that is going on with your body and how he’s going to adjust it. Very friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Since this is my first time ever going to a chiropractor, I don't have anything to compare it to. But what I will say is that the bar is set super high! Dr Mike is super friendly and educational. He made me feel like part of the family; just short of inviting me over for dinner or a hunting trip! I have MANY that I will be referring him to. Fantastic experience: I usually dont review places, but i HAVE to say something about the amazing chiropractor and front desk worker. Front desk worker was very helpful, funny, and friendly. As for the chiropractor he was extraordinary , i entered the building tense my whole back and neck were tight and when i left it felt as if weights were lifted off my shoulders. Even though that was just my first experience i can see myself coming back again , and i am next week. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone who has back problems and that works in a physically demanding job. #PERIODT

Fantastic experience: Hands down by far THE BEST chiropractor I have ever been to!!! Dr. Mike is the BEST Doctor to ever adjust me and is super friendly and nice and easy to talk to. He explains everything to you and how he’s going to adjust you and what the reaction will be on your body. I walked in there with a migraine I was struggling with for almost a week. And I walked out feeling like a completely new person and slept better that night than I have in years! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY suggest going to True Life if you live ANYWHERE IN ALASKA. He is worth the trip!
