Experiencia fantástica: | have been dealing with chronic low back issues for the last 5 years and this year in February was sent to see the folks at the Spine and Rehabilitation Center downtown. having been through PT many times before can honestly say the experience here was really first class. The care of the team here (and literally almost every person on the team worked with me at some point) was extraordinary. They all took the time to meet and listen. Dr. Crone and Dr. Hogan both gave me plenty of discussion and future planning time and I never felt rushed with my questions. The Chiropractic experience was my first and plan to stay with this group. The unique combination of PT and Chiropractic experience really helped me get to some of the best function and least pain have felt in years. The PT team and the administrative team also showed extreme compassion and dedication to the clients wellness journey. Kelsey, Osley, and Rawlings encouraged and pushed me to celebrate my progress and were incredibly supportive when I had setbacks. The facility is also state of the art, clean, and the administrative team is accommodating, flexible, and so kind. I really can't recommend them highly enough. This will be a life long mobility relationship for me.

If the therapies didn't come out of my pocket, I would have had sessions for the full 8 weeks. I healed my shoulder problem and learned to do my routine at home. Thanks for your incredible help!

Experiencia negativa: I was referred to Newberger and this team due to a motor vehicle accident. The intake person had to relay the message to me that Newberger would not be able to assist me as my vehicle accident was in another state, even after I specifically told them twice I would pay out of pocket. My ask for help was disregarded and an accident out of state has nothing to do with someone who is willing to pay upfront. The response was that they needed my insurance, when again I informed them I would pay out of pocket. The person on the phone did not want to give me an out of pocket price, but was insistent about insurance. I have never experienced a doctor such as this one, who is only interested in billing your insurance an absorbent amount, rather than helping people in pain. If you need help on the road to recovery, this is not the place for you if you don’t have an attorney and insurance. They are not interested even if you are willing to pay the expenses up front. Trust the other negative reviews for this place.

We have been very fortunate to have found these folks. I am especially happy with the service Dr. Baer gives me. He has been able to successfully address numerous long-term issues I have dealt with that nobody else, even other therapists I consider very good therapists, have addressed successfully. I highly recommend these providers. Their service, their mannerisms, and their results are all top-notch.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot speak highly enough about this office. After two accidents and many alternative treatments i was not able to get rid of my neck pain Dr. Neuburger is exceptional. He helps out in everyway and it has been the only way I have been able to manage my pain. Between the physical therapy, adjustments, and massage treatments it has helped me reduce my pain level significantly. Also the scheduling is very easy and there is minimal wait time.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in a pretty horrendous accident on April 25th, 2023. I was hit by a car while walking to work in downtown Houston. My doctor ordered physical therapy at Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Center. Everything about this place is top notch. From the professionalism from the front office staff to the cleanliness of the facility, to the physical therapists, all across the board deserves to be recognized as how a business should be run. I never felt like a burden, and the staff genuinely cared about my progression to start feeling normal again. Initially, I was ordered to attend three sessions a week for 4 weeks. This later got extended to another 4 weeks of PT. Kelsey, Dr, Baer, and the rest of the supporting staff was absolutely a joy to work with and kept it lighthearted, yet effective in helping my neck and back pain. I never felt like it was a chore to go there, I actually looked forward to it every time I had to go. Thanks to everyone there for your help!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm 39 years old, dealing with lower back pain, and for the past 15 years my left hip has not fully opened - always 10-12° less than my right hip. I've tried stretching, sauna, ashtanga yoga, bikram yoga, acupuncture, foam rolling, massage, rolfing and more. After just 2 weeks / 6 sessions in Physical Therapy with Dr Danielle Hogan, my left hip now opens just 3° less than my right hip and still improving, and I see why nothing else worked. It's an unbelievable quality of life experience and I have noticeable relief on my lower back every morning. Dr Hogan fixed a problem that numerous other professionals couldn't fix for for over a decade. I cannot recommend her highly enough (and Andrew is also awesome!)

I am almost done with my treatment here (I hope) and everyone has been very kind, friendly, and they have listened to questions and concerns. They are good at asking questions related to the injury your are being treated for and at providing the care you need in a timely manner. I will recommend them to anyone I know that asks for chiropractic/physical therapy for an injury because I feel so much better and it really was the level of medical care that I wanted and needed.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to see Dr. Neuburger at Houston Spine Center after suffering 2.5 months with what ended up being a HUGE herniated disc (11mm) in my L5-S1. Before HSC, I had tried a different chiropractor and a family friend physical therapist, but got progressively worse and worse. I was in such excruciating pain, I tearfully started researching neurologists online, certain I would end up needing surgery, and somehow came across Houston Spine Center and Dr Neuburger. I was unsure if another chiropractor could help me at this point, but I was so against having surgery, that I decided to make an appointment JUST to get another opinion. Dr. Neuburger is a straightforward, no nonsense doctor, WITH compassion. He got me in for an MRI same day, and even referred me to a GP who took my insurance, and had HIS office make all the calls FOR me. He took action. I appreciate this type of get-it-done attitude, especially when basic living was a struggle with the amount of pain I was in. He understood my desire to keep treatment as conservative as possible. Even with such a huge herniated disc. I committed to traction therapy 5 days a week for 5 weeks. Sounds like a lot, but I was willing to do anything to keep me off the surgical table. I was also reluctant to see the pain management doctor (Dr. Gentry), bc again, I wanted to be as conservative as possible, and did NOT want injections–but after the 3rd week of traction, I decided to see him, and we agreed to do 1 round of oral steroids to reduce the inflammation to “help” the traction therapy be more effective. It helped! After completing traction, I started PT downstairs, and went twice a week for 3-4 weeks. I stuck to the plan, and slowly but surely, my body started healing! Praise God! By the time I finished PT, my pain was gone. My mobility was still not 100%, but that continued to improve daily, as I maintained my PT at home. I can now say, that I am 100% healed. I am on the other side of it. I never want to go back to that pain! I have made big changes to my diet as well, which had helped keep inflammation down. I feel better than I have felt in YEARS. I am very grateful for Dr. Neuburger and the PT staff at Houston Spine Center.

Experiencia fantástica: I started coming here as soon as I was 5 months pregnant for my sciatic nerve pain in my lower back & that was my first visit since my last adjustment at a chiropractor in 2019. I was so in shock & impressed at how Dr. Neuburger adjusted the EXACT spot that was hurting me from my pregnancy the very first visit. It’s very open, spacious, peaceful & calm for a big building. Staff is amazing, everybody working front desk are so welcoming. I also mainly love it because of how diverse their staff is. They have the best physical therapy room & get you where you need to be with massages, KT tape, all types of therapy etc. Love them!

Experiencia fantástica: Love love love this place ! I have scoliosis, but I’m also very active so I’ve dealt with back, hip, and knee pain and misalignment basically my whole life. I’ve also been terrified of chiropractors bc of the curvature of my spine but I have full confidence in Dr. Neuburger and Bonilla! They’ve taken great care of me every time I’ve ever over exerted myself and hurt my back or hips. Their bedside manner is unmatched and they’re extremely affordable! It’s almost 40 minutes from my house and I don’t mind making the drive bc It’s worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Houston Spine one day after waking up with an excruciating upper back pain - It hurt to get up, sit down, and even take deep breaths. They were able to get me in right away, take the needed X-rays, and introduce me to Dr. Neuberger. Dr. Neuberger was nothing short of incredible - he is kind, quick with his diagnoses, and stellar at what he does. I was adjusted, given a treatment plan that involved physical therapy, and given a great massages by Andrew! I was seen by Michelle, the physical therapist who has relocated to their other location, at first. Her attentiveness and care was great - both my family and I noticed amazing improvement with my posture! I decided to do physical therapy a second time after going MIA for a while and that time it was with Felix, who is also a wonderful PT. I’ve recommended this place to my family members, who’ve also received great care and improvement with their issues from Dr. Neuberger, Andrew, and the physical therapy team. The facility is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. They have and do it all!

They knew exactly what they were doing and made what was a very hard process from an acl sprain become a nice learning experience and a great experience for healing and preventing future injury. The front desk was very friendly and cooperative and always had a positive attitude when addressing clients including myself. My injury is pretty much fully healed and it’s thanks to everyone. I highly recommend coming here.

Dr. Neuburger and his entire team of staff are without a doubt some of the best doctors/physical therapists in Houston. I would say best chiropractor I have ever been to. I had a slip & fall back in mid-October and am now finishing my treatment end of January. They have been so good to me and so dedicated to getting me back to my normal self, I am beyond thankful. Huge shout out to Allison, Jason, and Fernando that took such great care of me. My main doctor - Dr. Neuburger with his magic hands that transformed my neck & back each time I saw him. Then for pain management, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Gentry – miracle worker, that completely cured my wrist pain! If you are having mixed thoughts about getting injections – DO IT!! So much relief came from them & you are literally in the best hands. I can go on and on about these doctors. I was seeing them twice a week, and now I am sad that I’m not going to be able to as much. Bret has been able to keep me still playing hockey a couple times a week and at 66 that's not bad!

Dr. Scott started my rehab process right away, and ordered me a TENS unit and a back brace and signed me up for 6 weeks of physical therapy! Physical therapy was an awesome experience where I felt myself getting stronger. Fernando, Jason, Allison, and Michelle are the absolute best and made the process of rehabilitation so smooth and easy! Shout out to the front desk ladies who also made it super easy to get into the appointment times that I wanted each time! I graduated today and am all in my feels because I’ll miss this fantastic crew!!

Experiencia fantástica: After my back surgery, my anticipated recovery time was 4-6 months. I completed my physical therapy 3 months from my surgery, and I have no limitations now for my daily activities or workouts (3 1/2 months post surgery.) I appreciated the one-on-one attention I received each session from whichever of the therapists I was working with that day. They’ll push you hard but will also get you back to where you want to be.

This a wonderful place with wonderful people who are there with you all the way to the end of the session. Each person who is training you has different techniques and it helps im so many ways. Experiencia fantástica: I can not say enough about this company/ family. We live in a society that is very busy, I need A place where I can go that offers all services in one location. Houston Spine and Rehab is it. They offer so many serves, like Physical therapy, aquatic therapy, massage therapy. I go on my lunch break and Im back at work. I have been a family member of Houston Spine and rehab for several years now. I have worked with two Drs in the family. Dr. Verhuel Most call him Dr V. He is a kind, caring and always thinking about his patients. He listens to your concerns, and discuss a treatment plan. Dr Verhuel called me personal to check on me after I had brain surgery. He recognized that I was not able to have a neck adjust even though my neurosurgeon approved the treatment. He saw that it was not helping my headaches. Therefore he came up with a different treatment plan that would treat my migraines. Houston Spine and rehab have technicians who do the massage therapy and I have worked with Andrew and Jess, they are both fabulous. What surprised me was Dr Verhuel also massage patients when the techs are working on other patients. I Appreciate that they value our time as we are all busy. I also saw Dr Ackerman , who is a wonderful Doctor, he is in the Woodlands. To wrap it up, if your nervous about going to a chiropractor, or looking for a new one, Houston Spine and Rehab is the place to go. To me it is my second home. It’s a calm nurturing environment, which reminds me of family. Colleen

I loved his treatment recommendations and he even fit me into their schedule directly after my new patient appt. with the Physical Therapist for a full evaluation. My PT, Dr. JJ, was equally impressive and after 1 hour with her I left feeling better in my neck than I have in months!

I got an accident injury and they explained the whole process and referred me to a lawyer who I wont have to pay because the person at fault’s insurance has to pay. The other place just told me to get an attorney on my own.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so happy to say that I have only been coming here for less than two weeks and I have already had some tremendous relief from my headaches and neck pain. Carrie and Bianca are so easily to schedule with and very patient with people that have challenging schedules. I was honestly on the verge of giving up on finding a solution because nothing has worked for me. In the past two years I have seen two neurologist, one physical therapist and another Chiropractor. Dr. Verheul started my treatment on my very first day seeing him on from that day on, I have noticed a tremendous difference in my pain. My headaches and neck pain has gone from daily intense pain to a dull ache and maybe a twinge here and there, now my pain only gets bad when I get stressed or cold. I have not taken a pain reliever since I started my treatments here. Dr. V’s motto is “We are all family here”, that is what he told me on my first visit, he is just so wonderful. He makes you feel like you are his only patient. I can honestly say that on my visits, I feel like I am going to see old friends. Not only do I get treated, I get educated too. Whenever my massage therapist Daniel is treating me, he explains exactly what he is doing and how it will help me. I am so glad that I followed-up on a recommendation to come in, my quality of life has increased tremendously and I am thrilled about it. God Bless this place!

I had been on a walker for 10 months when i came in i remember a lady telling me crystal do everything dr. Chris tell u to do an u will be fine. In my mind i was so depressed i was willing to try anything .. hopeless Ms mona & with Ms. D provided the best comfort for me on my lower lumbar spine area.... when i say that massage with ice and heat released the tightness and the tension .Wonda is the the best doing my appointments and carrie always greets you with a warm smile as i walk in the door if i have a bad day they make me feel so much better...And dr thacker i went in for my injection i had anixety when i tell u i was sleep and waking up in no time they all play a huge part in my recovery process and i couldnt thank god and my doctors an there team enough!!!!!!!
