Experiencia fantástica: Dallon is the heart of Balanced body physical therapy. He helped me recover from my shoulder and sciatic pain. He is the best PT that i have seen so far. He took his work to his heart and delivered it on me. I got my full motion and I got a good friend. It was like a second home meeting dallon and his team. He made sure he got my exercise bumped up and got me stronger. He and his team had issues with my insurance company on claims, but he being not greedy and caring for his patients made sure I got my treatment right way. Never raiaed any concern on my payments nor claims. I would recomend him to any one who needs to recover without having a chance to think Twice. Thank you My friend for getting me all better. I’m now walking with a healthy gait as my joints and body parts are working together smoothly again. He is friendly, down to earth and has been doing it a million years. He is a teaching office and I enjoyed watching PT students come through and learn from him.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Balanced Body for a couple of weeks now after a full knee replacement. This is my second surgery on the same knee after having a partial knee replacement that failed less than two years ago. I was not super confident when I came for my first PT appt but after meeting with Dallen he gave me hope. I have had a handful of appointments and even though there are some days when I may leave cursing Dallen's name (joke), I can already tell that he is going to get me back on my feet. He has been great with explaining the exercises, the pains that I have been experiencing, and he will check in on me after my appointments to see how I am doing. I would definitely recommend Dallen for your physical therapy needs - him & his staff have been great.

Experiencia fantástica: I have and would recommend Balanced Body Physical Therapy to everyone that is in need of a PT. Since was about 8 years old I have struggled with back pain. I had seen doctors, chiropractors, and other PTs in the past, all had said I had scoliosis and that there wasn't much thay could do unless it was bad enough for surgery. Dallin was the first and only person to take the time to listen and spend more than 5 seconds to help figure out the real problem which my hips/ SI joint. He then constructed an action plan that actually worked and I havent had pain in the first time in 15 years and I couldn’t be more grateful for him and his wonderful staff!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Balanced body for a shoulder injury that made it difficult for me to do normal daily tasks. Their front desk staff were wonderful in helping me set up my appointments. I worked with Dallen for my therapy and noticed a difference after my first session. He has a really thorough consult process where he shared a realistic recovery period with me. I did regular manual therapy with him at his office for 4 weeks while doing my own workouts he assigned me at home in between. I ended my sessions with a dry needling appointment which took care of any additional pain I had been experiencing which was minimal after my 4 weeks of therapy. 5 stars all around! If you have any injuries or discomfort Balanced Body is your place!

I had a headache for 1 month up until we saw Dallin, he worked on my neck and back and my headache was gone within minutes, he also worked magic on my husband. Experiencia fantástica: When my husband experienced vertigo, we tried doing the Epley Maneuver we found on YouTube, but it just made his situation worse. Fortunately, Balanced Body was able to give us an appointment promptly. Dallen, the physical therapist, was very thorough and helpful, doing the necessary maneuvers to stop the vertigo and explaining the process (in Spanish, which my husband needed). He gave us helpful follow-up exercises also, and later called to verify that my husband was ok. We will definitely come here again when we need physical therapy.

I've had great results and recovery from shoulder rotator cuff surgery thanks to the careful efforts and individual care of Dr. Dallen Lovell and his professional team of assistants. Such a warm and welcoming clinic. I got prompt scheduling when other clinics would have had me waiting weeks to start critical treatment. Dallen took special care to consult with my UofU surgeon on my detailed surgery report and treatment protocol. At three months recovery my surgeon and his team are almost shocked at my mobility, strength and how well I have healed. I'm very appreciative of the therapy and the pleasant association with this facility. I enthusiastically recommend this kind therapist and efficient clinic to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here. I’ve had so much pain in my neck and back and I originally saw Rachel before and then later say Dallen and both were incredible and helpful souls. You can really tell they care and they never make you feel bad about things you can’t do vs can do. I remember one time when I was first starting out I had done an exercise too intensely and it was sending a shooting pain through my neck and ear every 3 seconds, it was awful. I had called and explained and they fit me in right then and Dallen helped it to go away and that’s the kind of care you can expect from here. I’ve been many times over the years (my issue can’t fully get fixed until I get a surgery) but they have really helped to lessen the pain.

His initial evaluation was the most comprehensive & thorough I’ve ever had. He used his vast expertise & experience to identify not only how to treat my back & get me back to full health but also what I needed to start doing to prevent it from ever happening again. He also truly listens to you! Dallen sees far fewer patients per hour than any other PT that I’ve ever been to through the years. And I’ve been to several! This means his attention & care is focused more on the patient each patient during their visit than I’ve ever experienced. He has also taken the time to design rehab exercises for me that are unique to me & my goals in my sport & in my life. Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience at balanced body physical therapy. I've been there multiple times, the most recent for treatment after shoulder surgery. The treatments were specifically designed for my unique condition in rapidly helped my shoulder improve. Staff was caring and concerned and they clearly knew what they were doing. Waits were essentially non-existent over the five months I was treated. The facility is modern and spacious with an inviting feel. They have a great suite of equipment and exercises to speed recovery. The physical therapist regularly updated me on my condition and adjusted treatments with time. I hope I never have to go back, but if it happens, I will go to balanced body.

He also took a whole person approach and talked about setting limits for yourself physically and emotionally. He gave a lot of information and was able to show you all of the muscles that I was having problems with and how to make changes. Even though I'm not 100% healed but symptom free I finished up my last appointment and he explained the exercises I'd need to continue to do on my own, and offered his help over the phone free of charge if I have more problems in the future. Even though I don't really want another injury I loved Physical Therapy and was sad to be discharged. The staff was really nice, and helpful.

The staff is superb - they truly care about each patient and treat each one with dignity and respect. It has made a huge difference in what I can do every day that I had difficulty doing before. These folks are like family - I was happy to get much better and get released, but sad to not be seeing them routinely. I can say with no hesitation that Dallen is the man to go to. You are not just a number but a real human to him. He takes his time to explain and show you what you need to do. Experiencia fantástica: I was a very difficult case, with a knee that had been frozen bent for 7 years. And a previously broken pelvis that had not healed correctly. Dallen gave me hope, worked closely with me, and kept up my spirits. It is hard work, but Dallen makes it fun and the results have been incredible. I am not quite done with my therapy, but my knee is very close to normal! Even my orthopedic doctor didn't think we would get these results. I highly recommend this company to anyone with issues. They are great, and the results are phenomenal.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the HIGHEST QUALITY CARE I have ever received. Throughout four months, Dallen guided me through my ACL recovery (the hardest recovery I've experienced). This was more than physical therapy but a recovery course: I asked millions of questions that Dallen was happy to answer, and re-answer. He says that patients are more dedicated to recovery when they are taught the functions and importance of the body part and those surrounding it. I saw Dallen over 40 times and, unlike previous therapists, he spent at least 30 minutes (or more) with me every visit. His plan for me was along the protocol of my surgeon, but he customized my program to my abilities and aspirations. We worked hard considering my insurance would run out four months into my care, but he was confident (and now so am I) that I would be ok as long as I followed the recovery process he had taught me. Always listening to my bodies reactions and pains, we adjusted and increased exercises and plans (he even allowed me some free days to do pool exercises or light yoga to increase my spirits). The experience in the office was wonderful. During the first two-three months of care, I was struggling with mental positivity surrounding my injury. I looked forward to my PT visits and left feeling comforted and more confident. I spent a LONG time in the office for each visit doing exercises. The aides and office staff always made me feel welcome and after spending hours of my week with them, started to feel like family. Dallen is charismatic and goofy. Between serious and sometimes scary questions, his MANY life stories lightened the mood.

Dallen’s hands on approach helped to address my pain and scar tissue at the surgical sites which caused daily consistent pain. I regained my flexion and range of motion and had thorough sessions during the course of my therapy. Having come from a big-box PT center I am sure that I would not gotten the hands on and personalized approach that I got at Balanced Body. Furthermore, Dallen is a joy to be around, experienced. and knowledgeable.

I have always been heavily involved in sports and when I get injured, Dallen is GREAT with treating my injury. He explains every detail of my injury to how injured it is, what exactly the steps are to treating it and how much time it will take to heal. A year ago my dad had a surgery to removed infection from his tailbone that cause damage to his nerves which left him weak from his legs. We had home-care physical therapy come to the house help him get strength on his legs for months and it didn’t help. We called my dad’s insurance and they referred us to balance body physical therapy and sports medicine. We came here Dallen and his staff were wonderful made us felt welcoming. In a couple of visits my dad was doing he started to show improvement with the exercise they were having my do was working. My dad is able to get off from his wheelchair and stand up to get to his walker. His now able to move around the house with his walker and being more independent we are truly grateful to Dallen and his staff for helping my dad be more independent.

Experiencia fantástica: Dallen and his team are by far the best PTs in salt lake and greater area. His approach to each client is with genuine care and concern. He wants you to recover beyond what you think is possible. You have to trust his process, and his nature, it works, and it will take work from you outside of your office visits. My biggest compliment comes from — He does not only work you through your physical issues but takes time when he notices it is needed to touch on the mental recovery process. I honestly don’t know where I would be today without him. Also, I think the billing and scheduling department are spot on. Just remember to ask questions if you are unsure what your insurance costs are they will break it down for you.

Experiencia negativa: I went for treatment of a calf strain. Got my calf scraped by Dallen, must have been too hard or inappropriate treatment bc my lower leg swelled severely became discolored and had severe blood flow issues, which were not present before the scraping. Ended up in the hospital with dvt. Now poisoned by blood thinner medication. Which I may not survive.

Experiencia negativa: I had been referred to physical therapy for Lower Back pain. When I went to Dallen and his team, this referral was ignored in lieu of my having had neck surgery in January 2021. I had already had physical therapy for my neck after the surgery and had completed that physical therapy to the satisfaction of the Surgeon. After 18 visit of Dallen reassuring me he would address my Lower Back pain "next time" or after I completed therapy for my neck to HIS satisfaction, he finally told me he would not treat my Lower Back pain until January 2022. Dallen wasted my time, wasted the allotted covered physical therapy sessions that would be covered by my insurance, and caused my condition to worsen by his refusal to treat my Lower Back pain.

Dallen diagnosed my problem and a day later the doctor called to tell me the MRI results which confirmed exactly what Dallen said. I had trouble walking and standing up straight. he set up a exercise plan and four months later I can stand up straight, and I am walking with a lot more bounce in my step. Everything is much easier now. thank you Dallen, Rachel, and the whole Balanced Body team. you guys Rock.

You can obviously tell he cares about his patients and their will being through his actions. I've been to 4 Physical therapists for my TMJ and Dallin has treated it the best thus far. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been in and out out physical therapy since 2013 with multiple knee and shoulder surgeries. This was my first experience with BBPT and Dallen made every one of my other therapists look like amateurs. He spends more time working on therapy in one session than most PTs spend in three, genuinely listens to his patients to find the root of the problem, and does everything he possibly can to help you succeed. 10 out of 5 stars and two thumbs up!

Experiencia fantástica: I've worked with Rachel over a few years. I initially went to her for Vertigo which she was very kind and understanding in fixing. Since that was resolved I have been having her help me with my SI joint coming out, back pain/tightness and bicep tendinitis. I recommend them because they don't just walk you through your exercises in the office, they do things that you can't do at home and leave it up to you to do your exercises at home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter has suffered from TMJ pain for years and we’ve tried TMJ specialists and paid a lot money on mouth pieces that didn’t make a difference. Some actually made it worse. Luckily someone mentioned a physical therapist who treated TMJ!!! We were able to get right in to meet with Dallin and the great people in his clinic. But the best part is that we have seen real results from this treatment. My daughter no longer has constant pain and and can eat most foods again. Doing the simple exercises will be a lifelong process in keeping her pain free, but hallelujah, she has the tools to manage her condition. We have been recommending him to all our friends and family— he’s that good!

I’m the type of person who asks a lot of questions and she thoroughly answered every one even if it meant going over time (and sent me follow up emails after too). I never felt rushed or uninformed about what to expect. I strongly recommend this clinic for its homey and family vibe. Great to recover from any injury! (Also, they can send you reminder texts for your appointment which was helpful too!)

Experiencia fantástica: I was struggling with a quad injury from squatting for a couple of months. Saw a couple different PT's and they were good but didn't grasp the sports side of injuries. Dallen did a thorough exam which neither of the other PT's performed. After the exam he came up with a sound diagnosis and game plan to help me return to squatting to depth pain free.. After 4 weeks things have drastically improved. I would strongly recommend coming in and getting your body healed and moving like you should. 19-Nov-2020 Update- I have been kicked out of the nest. I'm on track to hitting my goals and all because Dallen knew what he was doing. I am squatting A-G(butt to grass) all pain free now. Back to 36" box jumps and everything else in between. Dallen was fantastic to work with. He treats and comes up with amazing treatment plans for everyone from athletes to the senior population that want to still be mobile and active as well. Looking forward to seeing where I'm at in a year from now on the platform.

With their treatment, I now feel better than I have in years and also have an exercise regimen that promises to mitigate the pain in the years to come. Most may not expect to receive a high level of patience and concern at many PT offices but this office spends the time to get to know their patients and ensure they are getting better. I had a Thorough evaluation by Dallen and was walked through what was causing my issues and how we were going to work together to make things better. It really helped me to feel apart of my personal treatment plan. All the staff was very knowledge and accommodating. Everyone always has a smile on their faces which in turn makes you want to smile back. I felt positive progression each week and in no time was feeling much better than when I walked in. Everyone is so empathetic and after my first appointment with Rachel I cried once I got in the car because not only did she really listen to me but she gave me hope that things could get better. Experiencia fantástica: I had been taking pain medications and muscle relaxants combined with chiropractic adjustments and massage. BBPT identified the problem after a comprehensive history and exam. It hasn't been easy but definitely worth it! No pain or muscle relaxant meds, no more chiropractors! I got individual care and treatment that I would not have gotten anywhere else. I paid out of pocket but prices were definitely reasonable. The experience and knowledge of Dallin and Rachel are extensive, but the caring of all the staff goes above and beyond expectations. I would definitely recommend them to any who would listen.

The difference between the two is like night and day. The depth of my treatment at Balanced Body is truely unbelievable! Experiencia negativa: The staff at the front desk are rude. I onetime had to change clothes in the restroom to be examined. Unfortunately, unexpectedly and rather humorously except for the reaction from the staff, I got stuck on the toilet. When I came out, the staff were rude and rushed me through an appointment as if I had deliberately wasted their time.

Experiencia negativa: I will say that the people here are really nice. I went in for a sprained elbow. They told me that my insurance wasn't covering anymore visits AFTER I had come in for two appointments over the insurance limit! That's $250! I told them not to schedule me again until we heard back from insurance. Haven't heard a single word from them. No follow up, no nothing. Just a bill for more than $600. That's a lot to pay for a sprained elbow that still felt exactly the same as when I started the physical therapy in the first place. Now that it has been two months since my last appointment it is starting to feel better. It seems like I could have just googled elbow strengthening exercises and "how to tape a sprained elbow" and saved myself a whole lot of cash.

Experiencia fantástica: Dallen saved my jaw. I have suffered from TMJ since I was a child. My parents had spent many thousands and thousands of dollars on various orthodontic treatments. By the time I was going to visit Dallen I could barely eat food as my jaw was nearly jammed shut. Talking hurt. A new orthodontist I visited refused to do surgery until after checking if Dallen could fix my issue. Dallen was a far drive for me and I requested him to refer me somewhere closer but he said "No, I don't trust anyone else. If Dallen can't help you I am assured surgery is the right option." Boy am I glad I made the drive. Not only did Dallen get my jaw moving again so that I could chew but I actually had less pain and problems than I had experienced my whole life. It was like some kind of miracle. I am ever so grateful for Dallen's treatment. I didn't believe anything could possibly help me and never imagined PT was the answer to my TMJ. On top of that his staff is wonderful and his office treats you like extended family. I cannot recommend this facility enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I was having severe headaches and migraines that were debilitating. They had become more frequent and intense when I was referred to Balanced Body Physical Therapy. I came to Balanced Body for therapy on my neck and shoulders. Dallen and his staff are tremendously helpful. After just two visits, I noticed that the stiffness in my neck had eased up some and I had more mobility. The exercise routines that were given were easy to do at home and if I had questions, everyone was willing to answer them. During the couple of months that I went to therapy, I had no debilitating headaches or migraines. Anyone who suffers from these things knows how incredible that is. He was very patient with my lack of medical knowledge and showed me the various exercises that I needed to do to strengthen my back. Experiencia negativa: I had been seeing Dallin for around 2 years, and recently stopped because the treatment was not helping, I was coming out of appointments more injured to add insult to injury he was miss gendering me during each appointments and talking about the LDS religion and politics. I am transgender woman and should be called by my name or proper pro known. I switched therapists offices and started to receive proper care and able to be in less pain now. The exercises. Dallin had given me aggravated my condition and worsened it I would not go here if you're In need of proper care.
