Experiencia fantástica: TFPT (Peter and his team) provided me with expert support, knowledge and guidance through recovery from a broken ankle that required surgery and hardware. The same level of attention, careful listening and collaboration with Brianna M. helped me prepare for and recover from shoulder surgery due to partially tears in my rotator cuff and bicep. Patients see and work with their therapist during each session. The facility is both comfortable and well-equipped in addition to being a beautiful space. TFPT has contributed to my confidence as I engage in all of the activities I enjoy.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter in the 6 weeks of Physical Therapy, Not only did they took away headaches that she suffer for a year but got her back on her feet by enjoy the things she love to do , that are reading and drawing. Spending time with the family. For after a surgery on her neck, the pain affect her life. I saw that they not only want to work with you on one in one but they goal is to make you better. As they also work with her on how she can do things on her ability without causing so much pain.

My therapist, Sam, explains everything he is doing and why; and, provides me with instructions for at home exercises to do between visits. He provides encouragement and feedback on how well I am doing. Another thing I like about Total Function PT is that you are always seeing a Physical Therapist, not an assistant. Each appointment is with the same Therapist providing consistency in my recovery from total shoulder replacement. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing Physical Therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: This physical therapy program is different than any other I have encountered. You only work with a real physical therapists, not technicians. They spend 40 minutes with you, and use many manual techniques to relieve pain. I am a 76 year old with significant arthritis. I was having alot of jaw and neck pain. Ethan has had special training in cranial therapy and with some manual therapy was able to totally fix my jaw, neck pain relieved, and I was able to open my mouth again after weeks of limited motion. He is extremely positive and encouraging. Great therapist.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent many hours of the winter quarantined with Covid sitting in one position working on quilt squares. This resulted in pain in my neck and shoulder blades and tremor sensations in my upper body. My blood pressure also went high for the first time in my life. I went to my primary care doctor, a cardiologist, and a neurologist and was prescribed pills for anxiety. I finally went to an orthopedic doctor and I was diagnosed with degeneration in my cervical spine. I chose to go to Total Function rather than rush into surgery. Peter eliminated my pain with hands-on manual therapy and exercises. He gave me instruction on doing daily tasks to lessen the stress on my neck and shoulders. He gave me instruction on continuing exercises at home to improve my upper body strength and posture. My blood pressure has also improved as my pain went away. Physical therapy at Total Function was a great choice for me! Thank you, Thank you, Peter!

Experiencia fantástica: I came in seeking assistance with my right shoulder due to severe pain and constant complaints. I met Katie during volleyball one day and suggested I see her. Katie has been very helpful with regaining my mobility during these past few months. She is very kind and capable of answering questions when it came to certain things I did not understand. With therapeutic exercises/strengthening combined with dry needling and the occasional cupping, I’ve been able to use my shoulder more and more. Before I was seen, I was very cautious with my shoulder and how I used it especially in volleyball. Not only has Katie given treatment for current conditions, but she has also taught me preventative measures to keep my shoulder going even after care. I’m very thankful to have been seen here. I can enjoy volleyball even more!

Experiencia fantástica: Working with Peter has been a game changer. I saw him 2-3 days per week over the course of a month and I got a lot of relief from my pain. He's certified by the Institute of Physical Art who do great work for patients like me. I have many old gymnastics and ballet related injuries that have been untreated and continue to cause pain. Peter was able explain the root causes for a lot of these issues and through manual therapy work, increased my mobility by quite a lot. He also recommended useful exercises to help maintain the progress I made and prevent further injury. I highly recommend him for future patients. Most PTs only treat one issue at a time, but Peter systematically went through every old injury that bothered me and took them all seriously. A rare find!

Experiencia fantástica: i was very pleased with my time at Total Function. The location is great and easy to get to for anyone near and around downtown. Staff was friendly and handled all the insurance stuff making it easy to focus on getting better and not worrying about insurance. I was injured right before Thanksgiving and they were able to squeeze me in during the shortened week despite everywhere else I called being full. My PT was Sam, who was an absolute delight. He was friendly and outgoing. One of my favorite things about working with Sam was he always gave me a reason for why he was giving me certain exercises to do and explained why my body was doing what it was doing. He was also great at keeping the train on the tracks (my sanity) when I felt like I wasn't healing fast enough which is very helpful to an anxious person like me who just wanted to get back in the gym at 100%. overall, he just provided the info and calmness i needed to get through my injury relatively stress free. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of some Physical Therapy and have already starting suggesting some people at my gym go visit for some of their nagging problems.

All of the therapists here are great but we only met with Erika. If you have pain and don't want to go the pain medication route you need to consider Total Function. Very highly recommended.

After my first visit with Sam, I immediately called and told three people how impressed I was. Sam is both amazingly compassionate and knowledgable. He was so thorough in our consultation and truly listened. He explained what's going on with my neck in a way no one else has before that made such sense, and also gives me such hope for correcting the issues! He's so personable and kind while he works with you and genuinely invested in helping you make progress. I cannot recommend Total Function (and Sam specifically--one of the newer providers) enough.

After couple months of treatment I am pleased to say I am at a solid 85% and gaining momentum. He taught me simple yet challenging exercises which have dramatically improved my overall function. My ability to stretch and move my shoulder and neck area at the start was limited. My ability by the finish of pt was almost full range of motion And hardly any pain!
