Experiencia fantástica: I ended up in the Acute Rehab Center after emergency spine surgery, and spent 5 weeks in the ARC. The staff are all very caring and motivating, which is needed during an extended stay here. The physical and occupational therapists I worked with pushed me hard, challenged me, and kept me motivated in relearning how to walk. I know that my recovery has been so successful due to the amazing staff.

Experiencia fantástica: In our personal experience, we had great help and service from the staff members and extremely nice. Nurses are attentive and constantly checking at the times promised. OT/PT/ST were incredibly helpful and encouraging to allow patience to regain their independence. Front door is always monitored by security cameras and are closed after certain hours, but can be accessed with permission. Family members are allowed to stay and have comfortable sleeping chair that turns into a twin bed. There is a refrigerator you can leave food in with name tags. Patience are allowed to walk the perimeter with supervision of family members/friends. Therapy is approximately 3 - 4 hours a day. Patiences shower once a week on a certain day scheduled with supervision. There are many positive things about this rehab center, do not let it discourage you from coming here. There is parking ramp that could cost some money, parking meters right in front of the entrance or some free parking around the area. All of the homes by the hospital requires a parking permit or else you will be towed. Everyone's experience is a bit different, but I can reassure you we had nothing, but good things to say about this place and feel very lucky to have my sister admitted to this rehab center.

Experiencia positiva: This staff and facility have a tough job! They received my mom after her stroke while her condition was somewhat unstable. She couldn’t assist in her family-assist transport, we did, to get her there. The PT, OT, SL were outstanding. It is a different kinda of set up. They want the patients to gain their independence back. It isn’t easy but they want the best for you and give you the best from themselves. The food isn’t the best. Food from home is difficult to facilitate to the patient but they try to help you accomplish all of your goals. They are a remarkable set of people. Thank you!
