Zachary, Jason, and MaryLee so far have gone out of their way to help with a variety of treatments & exercises to see what works best. They are welcoming and friendly, as are all of the front staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I owe it to the staff at Larchmont Physical Therapy for helping me get back to feeling like my normal self after having ACL surgery. For the first three months, I worked with Birgitta and her, at the time, assistant Dylan, just getting back to being able to bend my knee and work on extension and flexion, walk normally and back to performing basic exercises to build back strength. For the last 3 months I worked with Sylvia and Nicole to build myself back up to return to sports activities, working more on agilIty and progressively difficult variations of exercises. Occasionally I worked with Kathy, Zachary, and Jason when my main physical therapists weren’t available and they were all informed of where I was at with my therapy. Each therapist was very attentive to my needs, always asking me how each exercises felt, how I felt after a session or even just how my weekend was. If any accommodation was needed, they were more than happy to provide alternative exercises that could help me further my progress. On top of the 30 minute sessions, where you’ll warm up, stretch, and strength train, work on agility(when ready), the therapists will also provide you with exercises to do at home. All in all, they are more than happy to answer any questions you may haven in regards to your particular situation. Once again, thank you to all the staff at Larchmont Physical Therapy for helping me throughout my recovery process. Definitely would come back if I ever needed to.

Experiencia fantástica: Kathy is very attentive to my needs. She starts every visit checking in with how I am, how o feel and what works and doesn’t work for my program. I find her very warm and insightful. As she works, she explains what we are working and reminds me gently how to engage the correct muscles, and stretch in the best way possible. I’m very impressed!!

Experiencia fantástica: Im not normally one to write reviews but Doreen and the staff at Larchmont PT were so incredible I feel compelled to share. I was suffering from some intense neck pain for months, stuff that has started years ago had gotten much worse. It was a slow process to build the proper muscles in my back to support my neck properly (crazy how that works). Doreen is kind, funny, knowledgeable, patient, and most importantly she LISTENS to what you're saying. The staff is also super friendly and helpful with insurance issues. I cannot recommend this place enough for people who need really attention to detail to get good results. It took me months of dilligently doing the work assigned, but eventually I felt the improvements and im so so so much better off today than I was before I went here.

Experiencia fantástica: I like Jason very much because he always says the purpose of the exercise and his fist dession was very motivating. I did not like my other trainer. She was very indifferent and rather cold. Seemed utterly unmotivated herself and i coukd not connect with her or the exercises

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff, Doreen is my PT therapist, and is great. Explains the process clearly and pushes you to get stronger and better.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to LPT by Dr. Michael Gerhard of the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic who basically deals with Professional and Elite college athletes. I started my sessions on Aug. 23rd, 2022 after a total hip replacement on Aug. 2nd. My primary therapist was Birgitta Mattson and I was initially evaluated by the owner, Kathleen Whooley. I came in that first day using a walker, and on Oct. 7th I left being able to run up and down stairs and easily lift 25 pound boxes into my truck!! Birgitta gave me home exercises to do and was always very supportive but firm when I was at the office. I cannot praise them enough for their tremendous help in getting me back to 120% of my capability before the surgery!! An A+++++++++ recommendation!!

I have been to numerous physical therapists over the years none of them compare to the expertise of Larchmont Physical Therapy . I have had noteable growth and improvement which has afforded me the HUGE benefit of avoiding surgery . The facility is convenient , clean , welcoming and pleasant . Not only are the therapists top knotch the office staff are helpful and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: I was seeing a PT twice a week for a shoulder injury. The staff was always professional and nice and took a great care of me even when I switched insurance in the middle. SYLVIA is one of a kind! Not only she made me do the exercises I needed, she also showed me how and why I am doing them. She taught me how I can do them at home to continue between sessions and after. She had tricks to every complain I had. From hugging a pillow when I sleep on the side, to lay on a vertical pillow instead of horizontal so my shoulder can stretch back. And the best part, she was the first to teach me that all the pain and injuries to my shoulders come from the position my shoulder been for years due to being weaker then the right side and the need to compensate. Even my orthopedic surgeon didn’t tell me that! I am now very conscious about the way I position my shoulder, from sitting to working out. I am forever grateful! ❤️
