Experiencia fantástica: Let's face it: No one wants to go to a nursing home or rehab facility, and transitions are hard and confusing. My loved one has been at Roosevelt since mid-September, and the staff has been super attentive and caring. We've had a few bumps in the road (lost some pajamas that weren't labeled, cold tea in the morning), but each time that problems were identified, the Roosevelt Care Team worked hard to get them resolved! The Business Office is efficient, our assigned Social Worker is very responsive, and the Care Team in general is responsive and very kind. My loved one is not that great at remembering things or communicating well, so the support from Roosevelt has really made a difficult transition much better. Plus, loved one likes the food!

Experiencia positiva: I have come to Roosevelt to visit a friend. The staff is very friendly.but I no that a few times my friend didn't receive her lunch or dinner. And I assume because of construction I saw a few bugs. None of which were in my friends room. But while waiting for the elevator on the ground fl I saw some bugs. The staff at the nurses station and when u come into the front were very helpful nice people

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Roosevelt for physical and occupational therapy. The therapist here are awesome !!! Nursing are very patient and caring! If ever any issue department heads step in and get the job done. I been to different rehabs n I must say Roosevelt is number 1 . I love the fact drs come see me and I'm actually getting a pair of new glasses! I recommend Roosevelt to everyone just come see for yourself

I started here exactly one month ago and am now confident in saying that the company as a whole is very amazing , and Roosevelt as my building I can say that the employees at this facility are among the best I've ever worked with . Our administrator is very invested in making not just his building , all of the residents and his staff . I.am excited to be here and ready to grow with them

Marie, the aide, was the kindest and nicest person I have ever encountered. She took a excellent care of my mother. The nurses and physical therapists worked with my mom were beyond professional. Experiencia fantástica: My grandfather received exceptional care while at this facility. The staff, in all capacities, were always pleasant as well as helpful whenever called upon. My grandfather said they were always that way even when family wasn’t around. He also said that he would miss them when he returned home… I think that says it all! Certainly deserving of 5 STARS!

Experiencia fantástica: This place has been such a wonderful experience for my father and my family. My father was living on his own until he broke his hip in June. I was terrified at the thought of having him cared for by a facility and it’s staff and not myself and my family. Now that my father has been at Roosevelt Rehabilitation since July, I can say with 100% confidence, I made the best choice ever. I would like to thank Dr. Nadiya L for helping me to enroll my father. She was very understanding, compassionate and professional from day one.I cannot thank you enough Dr. Nadiya and The Roosevelt Rehabilitation community!

Experiencia fantástica: Recently, my mom was in the Roosevelt rehabilitation center recovering from her hip replacement surgery. She was very well taken care of while in recovery. Especially I would like to thank the community liasion of Russian program Alec Braverstein. He was so patient and caring. He spent a lot of his time helping to bring my mom back physically and emotionally, was caring for my mom as he would care for his own. People like Alec should be recognized and appreciated.

Experiencia fantástica: My father was admitted to this facility for rehabilitation after a debilitating illness. During his stay our family visited him quite frequently at various times of the day and night. We always found it to be clean and well staffed with both nurses and CNA’s, but moreover, we found our father to be well cared for, and with only pleasant things to say about them! I believe that everyone is entitled to an “off day”, but I never came across this with any of the staff while my father was there. If I could give more than a five star rating I certainly would!…

Experiencia fantástica: I’m here now so everyone has been nice except one person had a attitude downstairs.. The situation the first night I was here I went downstairs to get my walker and some lady behind the desk yelled at me and telling me I was not supposed to be downstairs and made me feel like I was in some kind of freaking prison prison.. I wanted to leave here but the manager Josh talked me out of it and to give them one more chance. But everyone has been very nice!! I’m going to update this daily until I’m outta here. 2/22/21 Today makes two weeks that I’ve been here meet a lot of great people Chris, Ethan, Christina, Kevin.. There’s actually too many people to mention there’s a couple people here on the second floor I can live without but I keep a distance from them.. made friends with a few other patients.. this is a nice place I will highly recommend it for anyone that has issues like I came down with.. If I ever had to come back here I would.. someone is supposed to give me a sweatshirt with their name on it so that will help advertise this place and I will give a added recommendation.. Too bad I can’t give them 10 star rating.. I would guess I probably have another three days to a week here and then I’m out of here..

Experiencia fantástica: Roosevelt Rehabilitation Center is a great establishment. My first impression of the Center is that it is the Hilton of Rehabilitation Centers. It's so awesome that it awesomes all over the place. The hospitality of the staff is incredible. They make you feel welcome and also encourage you to to smile. There's a quote on the board that reads "Everyday isn't great, but there is something great in every day"! Reading words of wisdom like that certainly keeps my optimism growing. Experiencia fantástica: My dad was there and had a really terrific experience, therapy was top notch, gave my dad back the independence he hadn’t had in a long time. The staff truly care about their patients. Nice to know such a terrific option is available in our area! Would highly recommend. My dad just had another stay at Roosevelt and it was just as good as last time if not better! Josh is amazing, the nursing assistants were all very caring. Ravi from therapy cared so much about keeping us updated on my dads progress in therapy. I recommend this place to anyone needing therapy and nurSing care for the loved one.

Experiencia fantástica: Our father was a resident at the Roosevelt Rehabilitation Center several times. We are very grateful to the entire rehab staff for everything they did to make his stays as comfortable as possible. Besides taking care of his medical needs, the nurses and other staff members were also able to provide social support to him. The latter was especially important and very challenging since our dad could barely understand English and visitation was not possible at some point due to the COVID restrictions. Later, when the pandemic situation got improved, we found out that the center was very accommodating in terms of visitation and willing to address needs and requests of both resident and family. For us, crossing the language barrier, ability to communicate with and to visit our dad were the primary concerns and they were fully resolved by the rehab workers. Thank you so much for all you did for our family.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to Roosevelt on and off since September due to a reoccurring issue with my leg. I have a unique perceptive as I am seeing all the exciting physical changes such as upgrades made all over the building. The staff is friendly, and the therapy department can hold there own with any in the tri state area. Not to sound like Pollyannaish, all though there are definite improvements to be made, I feel that Roosevelt is moving in the right direction and deserves your attention if you are looking for a facility.

Experiencia fantástica: My father had Covid in august 2020. He was in a horrible facility before coming here. He beat Covid, but they told him he would have to have assisted living for the rest of his life and would never be able to live on his own. We got him out of there brought him to Roosevelt, where they had amazing physical therapy. From being there, he is completely back to where he was before having Covid. Yehuda was his personal concierge and he was absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough about how awesome this man was. He went over and beyond to make sure my father was happy and comfortable. Experiencia fantástica: My mom lives here now. The care she receives is amazing. The staff on 2 south is wonderful. They all “get” my mom and know how to take care of her. Not being able to see her now is rough but we talk daily and the staff sets up FaceTime calls. I am beyond happy that we found this gem for my mom! Thank you!! During the COVID -19, Roosevelt ensure that all employees were provided with adequate PPEs, in direct communications with family regarding their loved one once visitation was restricted. Staff members are really supportive of each. Staff provide excellent care and really care about the wellbeing of the residents.

Experiencia fantástica: I became the Food Service Director at Roosevelt on July 1st 2020. I was greeted with open arms by all staff members and residents. Since working at This facility I have noticed something I haven’t seen in any other facility I have worked in and that is the staff enjoy coming to work and the environment and atmosphere is positive and extremely friendly. I look forward to being here for a long time and increasing the positive feedback we have been getting about our food and level of care for our residents. Great place to work and I am grateful to be a part of this family.

Experiencia fantástica: My grandmother stayed here for her rehab and she had the best experience. She has a bad hip and has several surgeries and stayed other places before.. Glendale Uptown Home treated her like family. The staff was attentive and caring and communicated with my family the entire time. This place is great!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My 93 year old father has been at Glendale for about a month now. I am pleased with the staff and the facility. The staff are very supportive and caring and my father looks and feels good! The staff always calls me if there is any unusual occurrence going on with my father and keeps me updated. I am closeby so I try and stop by 3-4x per week to check in with my dad. They are currently renovating the facility. That will make it nicer. The food is decent. Probably better than most nursing homes and visiting hours are 24/7. Overall I am happy with the staff and everyone at Glendale and I would recommend them if you have a loved one in need of a nursing home.

Experiencia fantástica: I trained at Glendale for environmental services. Mark and Anthony are great at what they do. I enjoyed working with the staff. They are personable and the residents put a smile on my face. I just want to thank everyone I encountered at Glendale, they have prepared me for what is to come in my careeer. The job has its ups and downs, but its satisfying knowing that everyday you are helping someone in their home. Thank you again for this experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Though it's not shiny and new, it's certainly clean and kept up. The staff are mostly very friendly and helpful. They are willing to help and will often go the extra mile. I never had one of my requests denied and was happy to see they get to know and remember the residents.

As soon as my family walked in we were greeted warmly and felt an immediate sense of relief knowing we chose the write place for her to live. The staff is friendly,caring and genuinely care about the residents and there families. We love Glendale. We would never go anywhere else. Such a clean, friendly, loving place!

Experiencia fantástica: I was very nervous about finding a nursing home for my aunt. I received little guidance from the hospital and felt completely lost as making the right decision fell on me. Thank god I contacted Glendale uptown. From my first phone call to the admissions office I felt at ease as Anne Rumsey listened to everything I said,my thoughts and fears. While touring the building I noticed happy employees and residents.Everyone says hello to one another and the staff know the patients like family. The building itself is beautifully clean and the rooms are bright and spacious. The staff became our family. My aunt spent 3 weeks at Glendale and got her back to her normal active self after she broke her hip. I would highly recommend Glendale Uptown Home to anyone who was in a similar situation as I was. They took care of everything,and most of all took great care of my aunt.

I enjoy spending time with my residents and feeding them everyday. I have seen a lot of changes for the better during my time here, and while I know we can not please everyone 100% of the time, my staff and I do our best to try. The biggest reward is seeing the smiles on the faces of the residents. I take great pride in knowing I work with such a caring, compassionate group of people to make everyday special for our residents.
