Experiencia fantástica: Friendly, Professional, and quick to follow up with one's concerns. Samantha Yee is excellent in helping me recover quickly. The Admin staff are efficient, the facility itself is spacious and bright from high ceiling and almost floor-to-ceiling windows.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely terrible customer service. The woman I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude and actually hung up the phone in the middle of our call. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: So lucky that I found Ocean Beach. Kristin is the most attentive, caring and professional PT ever. When I came, I couldn't even stand up straight, but she has fixed my back injury without surgery. She said it would happen suddenly, but I didn't believe her as I'd been suffering for months, nevertheless, she was proved right. Only sight problem is getting appointments, but the desk staff are pretty on it with the cancelations and you can book a long way out. Can't recommend this place enough, would give ten stars if I could!!!

I saw Kristen last year until my benefits ran out and this year was matched with Natalie -- both have been absolutely wonderful to work with. I've worked with Natalie for longer and she's been super helpful in identifying muscle imbalances and posture issues that may be contributing to chronic neck and back pain I've been living with for close to 20 years. The body work she does with me has also been really helpful in managing flare-ups that can be immobilizing. I finally feel like I'm getting stronger in the right ways, although progress is slow (as most health issues are!). The office is super well-run, organized, and efficient. Tiana is super on-top of things like getting insurance authorization for visits; Ariel and Carolina at the billing office are literally the nicest people I've worked with to get questions about billing and insurance answered. They're really transparent (an unfortunately rare quality in the medical industry), proactive, and I actually feel like that I'm being put first as a patient for a change. Highly, highly recommend the people and the clinic here!

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Natalie Martines at OBPT by my oncologist for lymphatic massage treatment, PT, and to get fitted for a compression sleeves. Natalie is very helpful, informative and a caring person. The facility is open and spacious, and I don't usually have problem getting street parking nearby. Getting initial appointment takes some time, but once you've got an appointment then it's easier to get the subsequent ones. They also have a wait list and they are very good at letting you know of available cancellations.

Experiencia fantástica: Doctor Kate Howell was very helpful. My health problem was strained back muscles near the neck area. The stretches, exercises, and massages performed by the doctor were helpful. Pushing tennis balls into the back against a wall as one exercise covered. Another was having the feet at a 90 degree angle and a hand by the doorway, and turning the body 90 degrees while the feet are in place. Dr. Howell has strong communication skills, conveys positive energy, is serious about her services to the people in need, asks people questions to know how their health problems are interfering with their daily lives, and for my particular case, Howell wanted to know how my health problem was interfering with my search for work after leaving my previous company. I recommend this physical therapy clinic.

I've received brilliant physical therapy from Kristin Goodrich, my healing process has increased exponentially since I started my treatment there, the studio is well organized and calming, it's easy to schedule appointments, and the location near the beach makes me feel that I've been on a beach holiday after a visit. Experiencia fantástica: I had a total knee replacement in May. I was looking for an outpatient Physical Therapy for post-surgery treatment. When I called, they were very helpful with scheduling my therapy. They were really good with communication and letting me know. what I needed prior to my visits and anything else that was required. The facility itself is clean and is not crowded. I was assigned Sam as my therapist. She is very knowledgeable and specific with the exercises I need. She is patient and has helped me in improving my mobility. I will need to have my other knee replaced in the future and I will ask to go to OBPT again.

I have gone to them following my last three surgeries. Always helpful and professional. I have had both Lance and Kristen as my PT instructors and they are both great.

She's very thorough, listens to my concerns, answers my questions and always makes sure that my comfort level is where it is supposed to be as she was working her magic on my knee. She has a great disposition and is really easy to talk to - I even had a day where I was really feeling down and I started to cry and she was so compassionate - just a great person! Anyone would be lucky to have Inbal as a therapist and I highly recommend Ocean Beach Physical Therapy for a clean, friendly, calming and all around great place for treatment - they even have easy parking. Experiencia fantástica: This is my second time at this facility. This time, I've been seeing Inbal for an overuse injury sustained during marathon training. It's not a straight forward injury and has been a little tricky. I really appreciate how she adjusts the plan based on feedback and pivots where needed. She's knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and makes you feel very comfortable. They have a bit of a wait for new appointments, it's because they're good and worth it! I'm very lucky to have them in the neighborhood but would absolutely recommend driving out from wherever you are in the city.

Experiencia fantástica: I needed help with low back pain. Unfortunately it seemed that many of the Physical Therapy Programs were booked for a long time. The receptionist at Ocean Beach Physical Therapy was very kind and thoughtful. She set me up for a series of appointments that would be the first available. She also suggested that I call their sister practice to see if I could get in sooner. That didn’t work out but she put me on a list for getting a spot if a cancellation happened. I was able to have a couple of video visits with Natalie and she was very helpful and she made herself very available and answered any messages I sent right away.

Experiencia fantástica: The short: Ocean Beach PT is great, and Inbal is the absolute best. Highly recommend. Two thumbs up. The long: I went to Ocean Beach PT for just under a year due to a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus (pre & post surgery). Originally my thought process was, "go to whoever will see me the soonest". At first I ended up at another spot that really didn't feel all that great or effective, but I had never been to PT before - so I figured, "maybe this is how it is". Fast forward a couple weeks and I got an appointment with Inbal. It went from feeling like, "I should just stop going and do these exercises on my own because no one is paying attention" to having a deeply knowledgeable person working directly with you / planning a recovery process / teaching new exercises / giving feedback / making adjustments to your form / encouraging you / sometimes giving you a (well-deserved) ribbing. Overall I couldn't recommend Inbal highly enough. This was probably one of the more miserable injuries I've had, and recovery was a long process - but I'm back to doing the things I love, and importantly I feel like I came away from it with a lot of knowledge to be in a much better place long-term. Thank you again Inbal! From the organization side of things, they make everything really smooth / easy. You can schedule appointments online. Automated calls/texts to sneak into other's cancelled appointments (when you forgot to schedule your own...). At one point my insurance was being weird and their medical billing person was really helpful. I never had to park more than half a block away (can matter when you're on crutches). Just overall smooth sailing (minus the bad knee part - but that was my fault). Thank you to everyone at OBPT!

OBPT is a spacious and clean facility and located in a residential neighborhood less than six blocks from the Pacific. My therapist Inbal is a true professional - very knowledgeable and very willing to answer questions and impart information that helps the patient understand the recovery process and importance of following through with the exercises to be done between appointments. She has an infectious smile and the most pleasant demeanor. Five+ stars from me!

Experiencia fantástica: I had lumbar back fusion in July. I started physical therapy with Kristin after three months. My concern was to start a rehab program that would not hurt my back. I highly recommend Kristin. She is a good listener and very analytic.

I came to Ocean Beach Physical Therapy in October after injured my knee in August. Coming here was my last resort after seen by my primary care doctor, an orthopedic doctor, had X-ray, ultrasound, and took month of pain medicine. Recovery was slow and painful as I went from walking 10k steps a day to unable to walk at all.. When I first came to OBPT in October, two months after I injured my knee, I walked slowly, in pain and with a limp. And I was doubtful about what physical therapy could do for me. It’s December now, under the care and instructions of Natalie Martinez, I am back walking 10 k steps a day, at a slower pace but in no pain.

I had 6 weeks of PT, once a week, from Inbal Sarig, who did a marvelous job of teaching me the exercises I needed to do. She's very knowledgeable and has great people skills. Ocean Beach Physical Therapy also sends an app that lets you record your daily exercises and see how to do them properly. The staff is pleasant and it's easy to park in the neighborhood.

I was able to make an appointment and started to see a physical therapist. Inbal Sarig is very knowledgeable and has taken the time to listen and help me heal and get stronger. Experiencia fantástica: Bryan is excellent. I have had substantial problems with my back, including surgery for what my surgeon said was the largest herniated disc he'd seen in the last 5 years. After the surgery I was not able to walk more than 5 minutes before I got acute pain in my back and had to stop. Now, after working with Bryan, I am able to go for long walks, just stopping to do 3-5 seconds of mild stretches (extending and flexing my back from a standing position) every 15 minutes or so when I get back pain. I am incredibly happy and grateful.

I was fortunate to work with Inbal after a primary knee surgery with complications, that ultimately lead to a second surgery and cannot say how wonderful she and the entire team are. As someone who works as an ICU nurse, the level of teamwork and professionalism matched with a warm and friendly disposition is rare and unmatched. The facility is spacious, open and clean with street parking. They also have offsite pool options for clients to look into as well and help navigate that process. Lance, the owner took time with me as well, and my plan was very individualized. They met me where I was at and tailored my regiment with every session. The front desk staff is friendly and quick to respond to any emails or phone communication. You can tell the entire team are all committed to getting their patients back to their normal activity level.. I paid out of pocket and it was worth every penny. Experiencia fantástica: When I wasn't able to get into my HMO/hospital outpatient physical therapy for at least a month(!), I sought out Ocean Beach Physical Therapy — who had me scheduled within days. I've worked with Bryan for the past eight weeks on a painful back injury, and I couldn't be happier with my progress. Bryan gave me exercises that challenged me, yet were within the scope of activities that I could successfully accomplish. We have made plans for my continued progress post-PT. The space itself is large and roomy with high ceilings. Lots of ventilation with open windows, masked staff and clients, and handwashing when entering the building combined to make me feel safe in a gym-like environment during the pandemic. Lots of *free* nearby neighborhood parking & OBPT is right on the Taraval Muni line.

I saw Bryan twice a week. He is so knowledgeable as well as intuitive. I felt respected and listened to. He's the best: knowledgeable, experienced, patient, and good humored. I've had physical therapy in other facilities with other therapists, and no one has helped me as much as Isaac. He not only worked well with me in our onsite sessions, but also helped me develop an effective routine for home exercise. I can't thank him enough. In fact, all the staff at Ocean Beach are terrific, and the physical site is immaculate, spacious, well ventilated and never overcrowded. Because of their extra precautions during the pandemic, I always felt safe there. Bravo and thanks to Ocean Beach Physical Therapy!

Experiencia fantástica: I've gone to see Bryan there with great results for a couple different problems with positive results on all. I'll share my first experience as it was the most impactful. After a month+ of really, really uncomfortable back pain, I went to see him. After a thorough assessment, he gave me a number of stretches to address the issue that provided excellent results within a couple of weeks. The problem is now completely gone (after a few follow-up sessions and additional exercises and stretches). I wish I would have gone to see Bryan MUCH sooner. The facility is really spacious, clean, and well-organized. The appointment process and support is good. They contact you proactively before your appointment and after ensuring you have appointments setup. They also checked in to make sure things were going well that was very much appreciated. I highly recommend going to OB Physical Therapy for your PT needs!!

Experiencia fantástica: Went to OBPT for about 6 weeks. I worked with Bryan on my shoulder and it was an overall great experience. The staff is extremely kind and work hard to effectively communicate how much you'll pay for their services w/ or w/o insurance prior to you paying anything. They stay on top of you to schedule your next appointments. Bryan was great and I always left feeling well prepared to do my exercises at home. Once he believed I no longer needed to come in for PT and could rehab at home, then I was done. I am appreciative that they never pushed sessions beyond my needs. Experiencia fantástica: When I needed PT after my rotator cuff surgery, I selected Ocean Beach Physical Therapy based on a recommendation from my surgeon. My first impression was positive and the staff was welcoming and friendly. I was assigned Dr. Jake Koch as my therapist and the first thing he did was assess my condition and note my immediate goals. From day one Jake actively structured my therapy toward my full recovery and my short term goals of reengaging in treasured hobbies. Even when Covid-19 forced us to work online, Jake kept me moving forward. Jake proved himself highly knowledgeable and experienced in recovery from shoulder surgery. I can’t say enough about what Jake and Ocean Beach Physical Therapy did for me as a patient. I would go back in a heartbeat if I ever find myself in need of PT.

Experiencia fantástica: I injured my back at work last October. I could not sit for longer then maybe half an hour (first couple of days probably 5 min). Standing for too long was a problem too. Forget about bending that was excruciating. I'm so happy I was sent to Ocean Beach Physical Therapy. From the office staff that is so nice and organized. They new up to date how many sessions I had, worked with my schedule, and called the day before as a reminder. My Physical Therapist Dr. Steve Kim is a the best!!!!!!! He listen to my concerns, answered every question I ever had, and his knowledge on how to treat my injury was amazing. He listened and adapted exercises so i could progress but with out pain. He encouraged me every time even when I had set backs. I have full range of motion on my back now. I still sometimes have pain after long days but its minimal and thanks to Dr. Steve I know which exercises to do to get rid of it. I highly recommend Ocean Beach Physical Therapy .

I broke my foot in October 2019 and I was looking for a PT and came across OBPT. I can tell you that I had such a wonderful experience! If it wasn't for OBPT and both PT, Lance and Steve Kim helping me with recovery it would have taken a much longer recovery time. Even when Covid started and the city going into shelter in place. OBPT did such a great job with keeping the place sanitized, implementing social distancing measures, wearing masks and gloves. I felt completely safe going in at all times! If you are looking for a PT you should definitely come to OBPT!

Experiencia fantástica: Steve helped me rehab my shoulder after I had surgery to fix a labrum slap tear. It was a long 7 month road to recovery, but Steve and OBPT staff were there all the way. It was all one on one, so I got attention I needed, particularly in the first 4 weeks post op. During that time we worked hard on passive range of motion. Our plan and routine would continue to be adjusted as I healed. During my strengthening, I never felt as though I was rushed or left neglected for other patients. Steve would be with me all the way. He would work with me, make sure I'm challenged and using good form. If my workout went over time and he had another patient, an assistant would help me finish up my routine. I could end up going over my appointment time by a full hour and I would still get the help I needed. Even when I accidentally got there an hour early, rather than turning me away or making me wait, they accommodated me and an assistant was able to take me through the exercises until it was time for my appointment. In conclusion, Steve is great; all of the staff are great. They all work really hard using a goals oriented approach to help you recover. Their staff is well trained physical therapists with a supporting staff that has a background in physical therapy and personal training.

Experiencia fantástica: This is absolutely the best, most competent, most impressive PT gym I’ve found in this area and, for that matter, anywhere! And the owner and trainer, Lance Harriman, is the wisest, most knowledgeable and most human and humane therapist and trainer I’ve ever had. I suffered from both normal pressure hydrocephalus (corrected by a remarkable surgeon at UCSF) and a bad case of PTSD as a result of trying to correct this disorder at a succession of PT gyms and various programs for over four years with abysmal results, thus sustaining an intense case of PTSD that I am slowly recovering from solely because of Lance Harriman, MPT, and his extraordinary knowledge of anatomy, the human musculature, the neurological system and his talent that is beyond scientific measure!

Experiencia fantástica: After years of knee pain and different doctors and treatments, I decided to try physical therapy in the hope that it would at least help strengthen my leg muscles, weakened by lack of activity due to the knee pain. I had zero hope that the pain would ever go away. To my astonishment, Dr. Jake at Ocean Beach Physical Therapy figured out the correct course of action, and I am now pain free and have the knowledge to stay that way - in fact, I call this a miracle! OBPT is spacious and bright (huge windows all around) with friendly staff and professionals. Jake is a gifted therapist who listened and made it feel like we were a team working together for the best outcome. His expertise and caring resulted in success way beyond expectations. They had pretty good availability a week out and are easy to get to near the L. Used two of the therapists (Justice & Lance). There was always a staff of therapist nearby to answer questions on form. They modified the routines every week as recovery progressed.

I followed her direction religiously, doing the exercises she prescribed. I quickly progressed and she added increasingly demanding PT routines to facilitate my recovery and strengthen my core and lower back. I also worked with Lance, alternatively, whenever there were schedule conflicts. He is also a gifted physical therapist. Both are patient oriented, insightful and sincerely care about their patients. The exercises they gave me resolved my problem and within weeks I was pain free. I’ve added the exercises they gave me to my gym routine and am still regularly doing them as maintenance exercises. It’s been a year and I’ve had no recurrences. My results speak volumes about their ability to diagnose and treat injuries and prescribe routines that help maintain stability. I have recommended them to anyone in need and would return without hesitation the next time I need physical therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend OBPT! I worked with Lance for about 6 months to recover from a chronic back/hamstring issue and he was terrific. Not only is he a great PT, but he also gets to know his patients and is a joy to be around. I always looked forward to my sessions here and while I'm thrilled to be feeling better, I miss the company of Lance and his staff!

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place!! I had knee surgery last year and was going to my Kaiser provided PT getting zero results except a major hamstring tear while in PT. I am a firefighter and also very active person outside of the job and was very frustrated. I got word from friends about Lance and his PT studio. Within a few sessions his program really got me on the road to recovery. I was even able to get back to work, ahead of schedule, feeling stronger than before the injury. Lance and his staff keep close eye on you as you do your workouts to ensure perfect posture and core movements. Experiencia fantástica: I've had tendinitis in my shoulder because of work and it was starting to affect my everyday happiness. Enter Ocean Beach Physical Therapy. Great space and staff. The front desk made scheduling and insurance very easy and, of course, Lance is exceptional. Easy to communicate with and you can tell he cares about his patients. His supporting staff were all super nice as well. All in all, a great experience.

I consistently have great experiences with Lance’s treatments. Rather than a cookie-cutter approach like many PTs, he designs exercises by taking into account my particular history of injuries, surgeries, and vulnerabilities. He addresses my physical issues holistically, compassionately, and is very attentive to my progress reports. I continue to benefit from his exercise program many months after my last treatment. Last but not least, parking is super-easy. I highly recommend this clinic!

Experiencia fantástica: Even tho we disagreed in beginning about the cause of my pain, lance helped with his expertise was helpful , I had a few unanswered conserns witch peeved me but he called me to resolve them even as he was on Vacations. That got me to buy in to his advise I been improving from his expertise and advise. This was a sing of relief as my injury has plaged me for 3 months I finally found hope that I needed to get back to being active again.

Experiencia fantástica: OBPT is an awesome place to rehabilitate. The staff is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and motivating. The facility is big, open, and full of all the tools you need. Some PT facilities are in little cramped rooms but at OBPT you have a beautiful, light-filled open space that help motivate the recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: My son tore a muscle in his leg playing soccer and six weeks later the recovery plan set out by our HMO didn't seem to be working very well. We went to Ocean Beach Physical Therapy and Lance quickly discovered that the source of his continued pain was an injured back. Lance and his staff carefully explained a set of stretches and strengthening exercises to help him get healthy. Everybody at OBPT was professional and thorough and clearly knew what they were talking about. Plus it's a very new, clean, and easily accessible facility (a few blocks off of Sunset on Taraval.) An all-around great experience and I would recommend this place!

I've known Lance for a long time and he's been helping the surf community for years. As a surfer and athlete he has a lot of knowledge about how to recovery properly from injury to be able to go back to doing what you love as soon as possible. I have had a few experiences myself, recovering from ACL surgery, low back pain and an MCL sprain and for all I've been able to get help and get back in the water.
