Loehr Health Center - Chiropractor

Negative experience: Had an appointment and was faced with a set of extenuating circumstances beyond my control which required me to have to reschedule my appointment on 2 occasions and then I ultimately had to cancel my appointment. Receptionist on phone informed me that if I should call to reschedule and then have to cancel once again that they would refer me to another doctor. Receptionist was not at all interested in any extenuating circumstances as to why I rescheduled my appointment and then had to cancel. She just rudely hung up on me as I was attempting to explain myself. Very rude!! What has happened to customer service and genuine hospitality??!! The receptionist staff is shoddy!! Don't worry about me calling back to reschedule with your office!!

Fantastic experience: Top notch facility. Super nice staff. I didn't feel rushed when talking with the doctor. He listened, answered questions thoroughly and we came up with a treatment plan. We talked about some uncomfortable things... but for the first time in a long time... I wasn't uncomfortable discussing it with him. So, he made me very at ease with difficult topics and that's awesome!

Fantastic experience: So grateful to both Dr. Boucher and Maison Bovard! For months I was struggling with 3-4 migraines a week and had received zero help from both my primary care and OB... it was so refreshing to finally talk to professionals who not only listened but genuinely cared about my needs and wanted to help find answers to what was going on and implement relief! They are so knowledgeable as well and you can tell they truly do enjoy what they do. Fantastic experience: October 14th I walked into the health center with severe pain in my back barely able to walk. After a few lower back adjustments and some heat I walked out the door not in pain for the first time in weeks. These people are amazing.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday Monday the 14th of October 2025 I walked into loehr barely able to walk. 40 minutes later I was adjusted and walking out the door with no pain in my back. I can never thank this team for all the good stuff they do for us.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this office they'll blind side you!! Was getting care for my newborn baby and had all my appointments pre booked and my insurance was accepted which allowed my daughter to have 18 visit fully covered! Which for a low income family is Amazing and I think chiropractor care it a must and I loved the care my daughter was receiving!! But unfortunately when I went to one of our appointments. Like usual I walked in checked in had our usual care went to check out and that's when I was hit with the payment of 102$. I was confused because insurance covers it. Well apparently they stopped taking our insurance and didn't have decency to email or call me to give me a warning that they no longer accept our insurance. Which in my opinion is ridiculous due to the fact that they pre book all you appointments!! So yea dont recommend this office very unprofessional!

Fantastic experience: This whole crew is an amazing group of individuals. They are polite and happy. The place is clean. You don't sit around forever waiting for services. I see Dr. Crawford and I would definitely recommend him! A really nice guy that gets the job done. I'd give them 10 if it didn't only go to a 5 .

Negative experience: I had been going to the loehr health center in Springfield last year. I called and made an appointment for last Wednesday. The girl on the phone said they didn't accept medicaid anymore, so I asked how much it was to self pay? She said 60 dollars. She made me an appointment for 245pm and I said ok, I'll see you then. I drive 70 miles one way, just to have the girl at the counter tell me my appointment has been canceled? I asked how, and she replied that I called and canceled it. I asked her why would I do that, if I'm here now? She insisted that I canceled it, and said it was because they didn't accept medicaid! I said I told her I would pay the 60 dollars cash and made the appointment. She still insisted I canceled it and was too stupid to understand that I did not cancel it! She would not let me see the Dr, so I left very angry, that I waisted my time and gas to drive 140 miles round trip!!!! Dr. Baca is an excellent chiropractor, but because the front office staff is so ridiculous at their jobs, and insistent that i called and canceled, so I will never go back there!!!!!

Fantastic experience: We were looking for a new chiropractor for the husband and we found it. They listen to what he's feeling and talk to us. Everyone is friendly and so wonderful!

Fantastic experience: I feel 85% better after the first week!! Staff is all very friendly and helpful and always has a smile on their faces! Great atmosphere, very clean and positive vibes. I highly recommend an assessment if experiencing chronic pain. Dr. Carter is superb!

Fantastic experience: Loehr’s Health Center is the only place where I have seen true results. I have been to other therapy places before and nothing ever improved. The team at Loehr’s has helped me improve my mobility and strength (Dr. Carter, Maison, Jason). Definitely recommend Loehr’s Health Center!

Fantastic experience: Loehr Healthcenter is by far the best and most full treatment facility in the Springfield area. We have had experience with multiple doctors in the center and every single one is caring and wonderful to work with. The physical therapy department is 5 star! If you need a skilled therapist and dynamite results see Jason! He is a certified athletic trainer and physical therapist and trained my volleyball athlete to make marked improvements in strength and agility.

Fantastic experience: These people are the very best!! I wouldn't want to go anywhere else or bring my baby anywhere else for chiropractic care. Fantastic experience: Dr. Carter has been instrumental in my knee recovery and overall wellness. I came to him after injuring my knee while on a trip. He was very patient and took the time to explain the treatment plan. He is always open to answering my questions and displays compassion and care to his patients. Due to him and the staff at Loehr, I’m able to continue traveling, pickleball, and staying active. Shoutout to: Maison, Jason, Alyssa, Corinn, Hayden, and the treatment squad.

Fantastic experience: Working with Jason on a weekly basis over the past 2 1/2 years has improved my life so much that It is hard to put into words. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Lindsay Bogue at Loehr Health Center for a couple years now. I have scoliosis and prior to seeking chiropractic care, I had chronic low back pain. Dr Bogue has helped me tremendously and combined with the rehab sessions with Maison Bovard, I am thriving! I’ve been to quite a few different chiropractors over the years and something I look for, and found here at Loehr, is a team that doesn’t just want to adjust you and send you on your way to come back each week with no lasting improvements. They really look at the cause of your pain and combine techniques (adjustments, therapies, rehab, etc.) to truly help you achieve sustainable recovery. There have been a few times that Dr Bogue’s schedule did not align with mine and in those times, I was able to see one of the other Drs on the team and I’ve been impressed every time and would highly recommend them all. Dr Goins, Dr St. Peter, Dr Crawford, and Dr Boucher have all seen me at one time or another and have been exceptional. Last but not least, I’ll recognize the front desk crew. They are the first to greet you when you walk in the doors and the last to wish you a wonderful day on your way out. I’ve never experienced anything but kindness in any of my interactions with them. Scheduling, rescheduling, and making payments has always been a breeze with Jacki and I think Corrine knows my schedule better than I do! Also want to shout out Hayden, not sure what her job is but she hypes me up in rehab and usually comes through with some solid humor.

Fantastic experience: I love working with Dr. Bogue and Maison! They are excellent at what they do, coordinate their care and individualize my care plan for me each visit. Thank you to them both!!

Fantastic experience: The staff is always professional and kind. Dr. Crawford is knowledgeable and helpful. As an ice skater, he and Jason have kept me moving pain-free. They have helped reduce recovery times and given lots of advice to help reduce injuries. I cannot recommend this facility enough!

Fantastic experience: After sustaining a debilitatingly painful reoccurring injury I was looking at injections and surgery as my only treatment plan. I came to Loehr desperate for help and pretty terrified. Here, I was fortunate enough to find an incredible mix of support from Dr. St. Peter and the rehab guru's Maison and Jason. From the first visit I was met with patience and a commitment to a non-surgical physical recovery and frankly emotional support as well. Healing is a long journey that takes patience, dedication and commitment from both sides and the staff are there for it. They make it fun, they respond quickly, provide motivation and have a plan that can be tailored to how you feel in the moment. I can't say enough good things about all three of my providers here. Dr. Goins is great too, he has tons of barefoot/zero drop footwear advice and offers kind motivation as well.

Fantastic experience: Dr. St. Peter is attentive and thorough—he really takes the time to listen and explain everything clearly. Maison is knowledgeable and supportive, Ryder is great at tailoring therapy to what I need, and Hayden is always kind and on top of scheduling. Fantastic experience: At five-months-old our son was diagnosed with high-tone Cerebral Palsy. As soon as we got his diagnosis we began a multitude of interventions, including chiropractic care. Initially we did not know much about chiropractic or if it would even help, but we were willing to try anything to help him achieve his highest potential. We now understand chiropractic care is vital for anyone with CP to minimize the opportunity of skeletal deformities, arthritic changes, chronic pain, and the need for surgical interventions. We have seen numerous benefits from treatments such as myofascial release, full-body adjustments including cranial adjustments, and kinesio taping for targeted neurostimulation. Our son is now three-years-old and exceeding all expectations. There is no question that frequent, consistent chiropractic care has been the key to his ideal physical development. Fantastic experience: I'm so glad that I was recommended to come here!!!! Dr.lindsay bogue and Maison bovard are amazing!!!! With all the amazing help I was finally able to get back on a horse and not be in pain!!! With having 3 babies and other health problems I have had hardly any pain and can sit on the floor and play with my kids and be outside with them.!!!!! Fantastic experience: Dr Loehr has such a wide variety of interests and expertise. He has truly been the answer to me achieving a better quality of life. [1] I was asking my MD for help but just kept getting told I was an exhausted mother who was being too hard on herself. My joints (wrists, fingers, elbows, knees) were visibly swollen and extremely painful. My MD referred me to a rheumatologist and an orthopedic surgeon, but no one could help me - they just said I didn’t have RA or Lupus but couldn’t make sense of my symptoms >> Dr Loehr found that I had high levels of thyroid antibodies and helped me change my diet and add supplements to combat this autoimmune disorder - I gained energy and lost the joint pain! [2] I was feeling crazy with overwhelming anger and rage, it was affecting my parenting and I felt like a total failure >> Dr Leohr identified the hormonal imbalances I was struggling with and rebalanced them through acupuncture and supplements. [3] Even still I was suffering from IBS-D, my MD recommended anti-inflammatory medications >> Dr Loehr found that I had a fungal infection from crazy high levels of candida/yeast in my intestines - he helped me cure this through dietary changes and nutritional counseling. [4] I had an old sports injury that was giving me trouble... with all that Dr Loehr had helped me with, I figured why not mention this to him as well >> on the spot he did an orthopedic physical examination and found that my old ACL graft was compromised. From there he ordered an MRI and referred me to a renowned orthopedic surgeon for a second ACL reconstruction. [5] Not to mention the legendary chiropractic treatments Dr Loehr has continually provided for myself and my children. **With all that Dr Loehr has done for me and my family, I know that I am just one of thousands who have directly benefited from his superior care. Fantastic experience: I became a patient of Dr Steven Loehr’s after sustaining injuries in a motor vehicle collision. Over many months Dr Loehr and his athletic trainer, Maison, helped me recover from my injuries. I am so grateful to them for their expertise and compassionate care - I had always been scared to try a chiropractor and was not used to exercising; both Maison & Dr Loehr were so great at working with me and got me to a stronger healthier state than I had been even before the car wreck. At some point I got out of the habit of going in for my monthly maintenance adjustments, then I messed up my back from picking up my 40lb grandson over and over. I called LHC and was able to get in with Dr James Crawford - I was nervous to see anyone other than Dr Loehr, but Dr Crawford was also very considerate and knowledgeable and he got me feeling better with just one appointment. I continue to see Dr Crawford for my monthly maintenance adjustments, and I am so thankful to be a part of the LHC family.

Fantastic experience: Switched my daughter from another place to here and am so glad I did. Dr. Crawford is great with her, he listens to her needs and asks questions, he does his job well. Some places move patients in and out like you're just a number, but here they take the time to care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Loehr literally changed my daughter's quality of life. She was diagnosed with pediatric migraines at 3 and lived with them for years until we started consistent care under him. His inital treatment plan was specific with the goal of getting her relief as soon as possible. His care for her was gentle and effective and her relief started within the first month of treatment. Since then, we have been consistent with maintenance care and she has gone from having multiple migraines a week to going months without one and when she does get one, there is no more vomiting or vision issues with them. She also had flat feet and suffered with frequent leg aches. Dr. Loehr fitted her with orthotics and has been diligent to assess the fit as she has grown and developed. Her leg aches have decreased tremendously. Maybe just as importantly, my daughter literally views him as a hero for how her life is better because of his care. At the ripe old age of 9, she truly appreciates him and looks forward to her appts. For myself, he has relentlessly pursued health and healing for a gnarly back injury I sustained. I trust him completely with my health and that of my children. He makes it easy to do so. He has taken the time to get to know me and how my body responds to treatment so he can best support and treat. Without his treatment, I would have likely already had back surgery and been a regular at the pain clinic. He has adjusted my care as needed by both pushing me a little harder with rehab with Jason and by knowing when we needed to back off to allow some more healing to take place. He is not the least bit afraid to refer out if he sees something that needs further medical attention. There is no health related topic off limits to address with him. He is approachable and everything he does is done with the utmost respect and goal of you meeting your health potential. It is so easy to see that he loves what he does and truly has a heart for his patients. His knowledge base is both broad and deep. From earaches, to spine issues, to respiratory illnesses, to liver enzymes, to hernias, to supplements, and the list goes on . . . he is knowledgeable about it ALL. If your chiropractic care has simply been "a good back crack," you are selling yourself short. Dr. Loehr has literally redefined healthcare for our family and we are eternally grateful. His bedside manner is professional yet relational. You will never be "just another patient" for him. We've been patients of his for years and I truly cannot recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: i've been coming to loehr for around 2.5 years for my neck specifically after i fell in it during a tumbling class i was doing. in that 2 year period i haven't once had a negative experience with them, i currently see Dr.Crawford; he's always positive and making jokes, it was really easy to feel welcomed and like he wanted to help and not like it's just his job; all that being said he's also a great doctor, i'd recommend loehr to anyone who's looking for a chiropractic that actually cares about you.

I have been going to him regularly for the last six years and have appreciated his thoroughness, professionalism and good sense of humor. While a little pricey, Loehr health center does have quite a bit to offer and staff typically has a good, cheerful attitude.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Loehr since 2012(ish) and seeing the expansion of health services they offer is very beneficial for me and my family. Recently, a back injury had me seeing Dr. Crawford for adjustments and Maison for rehab services. Crawford always took care in his adjustments and recommendations for the best route of healing for me. Maison (and Jason, when I saw him) is awesome and a wealth of knowledge for identifying weak areas. We have worked to strengthen certain areas and she just recently sent a workout program that I can use at home. Highly recommend Loehr Health!

Fantastic experience: I have been on quite the health journey since being diagnosed with uterine cancer in late 2022. In April I was having so much pain in my shoulders I wasn’t able to function, from housework to sleep to getting dressed by myself the pain was excruciating! Dr. Baca was awesome! Within weeks the pain was almost completely gone! I have recently started physical therapy with Maison and Jason and I am already starting to get some range of motion back! Fantastic experience: I cannot express how WONDERFUL Loehr Health Center has been to my and my family. I started going there my last trimenster, of my pregnancy, to help with migraines amd back pain. I see Dr. Boucher and Dr. Bogue, they both always go above and beyond every visit. They educate me on what's going on, a treatment plan, and answer any questions I have. After I delivered my daughter, she was suffering from severe colic. I brought her in, and she is well sees both Boucher & Bogue. My 11 week old is a completely different baby! Her head is turning from side to side before it was not, she was constipated & severe gas. Now she has regular stools and hardly deals with gas. For a single mama with two babies, this is HUGE relief! I'm so grateful for Loehr staff and my Doctors who have made such a great impact on my health! I HIGHLY recommend Loehr Health Center!!

Fantastic experience: I drive 2 hours to get here because they are a Fantastic place for rehab, chiropractic, functional medicine and acupuncture. I’ve had great experiences with all the staff here. Been seeing Baca for functional and chiropractic he is easy to understand and has help get me back and going. Jason has been great with rehab helping me to be able to get back to heavy tasks again. Dr Loehr had been fantastic in helping me with alpha gal and nutritional coaching. I appreciate there’s folks and would highly recommend anyone to come see them.

Fantastic experience: I came in with a lot of lower back issues. Dr Carter diagnosed my issues and came up with a treatment plan and today I have no pain! Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Dr Lindsey Bogue enough! Not only did she efficiently help relieve my prenatal and postpartum pains, not only did she help my newborn with her latching and colic, but she’s just a genuinely enjoyable person. My kids see her as just one of mom’s friends who helps us. Our time during appointments are concise for the help needed AND extremely personable. Every staff member is genuinely happy to help patients. It puts a smile on your face from the moment you walk in the door. The feeling of joyful help and support is present in every room. The family waiting area has been helpful for my kids to feel like there’s a special place for them when we get there early for appointments. It has ooks, TV with Bluey, activities on the wall. And the staff make my kids feel welcome as a true family practice should. In Dr. Bogue’s office she also has a wall of pictures that patients (kids) have made for her and she has a small tent and couple of toys that my kids play with when they join me for my appointments. I’ve had chiropractic care, heat and stim, and acupuncture treatments at Loher and have appreciated my outcomes every time! I believe the chiropractic care throughout and the acupuncture during the last weeks of my pregnancy helped this be the smoothest and easiest delivery of my 3 kids! Forever grateful for that!!

Fantastic experience: Started seeing the fine folks at Loehr about two years ago. Thorough exam with x-rays to start, talked through the results and treatment plan in a way that didn't lead me straight to Google seeking explanations. If you need it, they can probably take care of it - chiropractic, massage, physical therapy, acupuncture, you name it. Everyone here is great, special props to Dr Baca for getting and keeping me aligned!

Fantastic experience: Loehr has quickly become just about my favorite place! I transferred to Loehr from a chiropractor I had been seeing for 12+ years based on glowing recommendations I’d heard from friends and family. After just 7 months, it’s safe to say they have changed my life! I have an understudied connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome that leads to severe, life impacting symptoms and complications. Dr. Crawford not only listened to my concerns attentively and kindly, but has been willing to adjust treatment plans and do research to best tailor his care to my specific needs! He is amazing and definitely the best chiro I’ve seen! Maison has a wealth of knowledge and never pushes my body past its ability! Unlike previous physical therapists I have worked with, she has been able to modify every single movement as needed, to prevent subluxations and dislocations whilst still building the muscle strength required to stabilize my joints. These two are incredible and have reduced my pain to lower than what it has been since I was a single digits child! They are the dream team! The whole Loehr office has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with smiles to be found throughout and a general kind word. 100/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say and share enough postive & amazing things about the staff and facility here. I have ALWAYS felt like my providers remember me, what we discussed and what's important for me. I feel listended to and heard here - and that almost NEVER happens with medical providers. The services available here are super extensive, and all the staff that I've interacted with are incredibly knoweledgeable, both in practice and instruction. I've been a patient here for a few months and I feel better than I have in 20 years. They're also wonderful about working on scheduling, coordinating and billing. I would not take my business or body anywhere else.
