Fantastic experience: All the chiropractors and staff are very friendly and willing to help you get back into good shape. The massage therapists are great and can give you exactly the massage you need. Depending on injuries or if you want to just have a good feel good massage. I always know when I go in that I can get my body tuned up and back into good working order.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ken van Dyken is who I have been seeing for the past couple of weeks. I’m suffering from some really awful chronic nerve pain in my face head and neck and Dr Ken is the first person in 2 years to understand what’s going on and he actually listened to what I was trying to say and gave me some answers. I feel like I’m in good hands for the first time. 10-10 would recommened.

I like this clinic - Dr VanDyken, who took over from Dr Shirley is intelligent, compassionate, and gives straight talk about the care received. He listens and engages in teachings as he goes. He's a wonderful chiropractor. The office staff are helpful and kind in their interactions with the patients. And hi TMJ issue treatment is a game changer.

Fantastic experience: This was my first ever visit to a chiropractor, Dr. Ken Van Dyken was amazing, he was thorough in asking questions, getting an understanding of my pain and possible causes. he did an initial exam testing my movements and seeing where my issues were. He then explained everything he was going to do. what it would feel like and what to expect. It has been a week since, things have been better already, moving as they should. excited to go back and continue treatment.

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy with my treatment plan with Dr. Paula—it’s been incredibly helpful. I began seeing her later in my pregnancy to relieve hip and back pain, and now I’m continuing postpartum for tailbone adjustments. It’s still been a great experience! The staff is always friendly, and scheduling appointments is easy with plenty of availability.

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone here for a few years now and I always feel better afterwards. My daughter (who’s 8) had a stiff neck after falling off the playground. Her first visit to a chiro was here and they made her feel so comfortable, and eased her into manual adjustments. Her neck and back immediately felt better and now she gets mad when I see Dr Paula without her.

As for Jared, alas, his demeanor doth raise certain doubts. Methinks he could benefit from a touch more care and earnestness in his dealings. Fantastic experience: Everybody at spinal and and sports do such a fantastic job. Sam is an amazing secretary. Kaitlyn does a banging job on the phones and there’s a Jared who sits in the corner office. He’s always super helpful. They all do a great job. Give them all good point.

Fantastic experience: Dr Paula is my lifesaver, she has made chronic pain issues that I’ve struggled with for years significantly better and I could not be more thankful and grateful for her. She’s also just an amazing and caring person, on top of being the best chiropractor I’ve ever seen. The office staff is also amazing, and fun. Fantastic experience: I've been going here for over 2 years, suffering after several years without treatments. I didn't believe anyone could give me the same care and concern as my last chiropractor, which had to retire due to medical issues. I suffered for no reason. Dr Ken (Van Dyken) picked up the ball, in mid flight, and started a path to improvement. He's concern and game plan got me on the path of improvement. Although my pain will never be able to be eliminated, he has done an incredible job and his efforts have made it livable. I've added in-office massage to my overall game plan, to give me additional improvements to my mobility and pain management. I've found the office staff to be very helpful and pleasant in navigating these tough times of insurance issues and change. I award them the 5 stars they truly deserve. Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr Van Dyken for years now. He is able to accommodate on demand appointments normally the same day or next day. The guy is capable of many things but there is no better chiropractor for your neck pain

Fantastic experience: I go for massage and chiropractic. Dr. Vandyken does great adjustments and takes the time to show you new exercises to do. Their massage therapists have tips and exercises as well. They want to help you get better.

Negative experience: 2 of the last 3 times I've shown up for my scheduled appointment, my massage therapist has not been in the office. The front desk says they have a note that they left me a message, but I didn't receive any voucemails or missed calls from them. And I did confirm that they have my phone # correct. Very unprofessional.

Positive experience: Update: Called to have a conversation privately about my experience. Jared was a little confused but was wondering what he could do. Confused myself I stated the review response. He said "oh well what can I do?" I said maybe start with the fact of discrimination against my mental health isn't okay. He tried to argue that I was let go due to a no show. I stated "why put my mental health in the letter if that was a good enough reason to start with?" He couldn't give me a single explanation. After a minute of talking about the letter and discrimination, he didn't deny it but then proceeded to tell me that when I have episodes I am not a "safe person". To me that a line of reasoning to discriminate against me. That put me in tears. To have that mark like I already don't feel safe with myself sometimes, is terrible. I was a patient for 2 years with no issues or problems of making people feeling unsafe from my illnesses. I have had a total of 16 episodes since starting with this office. Only one episode was actually seen and used against me right away. I was mixing 3 different psych meds that weren't supposed to be taken together.(Almost ended up strapped to a bed) I was discharged for my mental illnesses and the no show was a fall back. 3 stars is being generous cause KC is amazing and all the way around a great human. Dr. Van Dyken is a different story. I want to start off by introducing myself. My name is Jenna and I struggle with 3 different mental illnesses. I do counseling and different therapies like Systematic desensitization, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am on a medication journey with my primary doctor and therapist for all of this. I can admit I was having instability in my mental health but I am only human. I was upset when I was told money was more important than My physical health and the pain was not helping the mental side and I was short with Katelyn at the front desk. I got emotional and told Dr. Van Dyken how I felt and he continued to belittle my feelings. I almost walked out of my appointment because he just kept poking at my mental illness. Fast forward 3 weeks. I had been to a couple more of my appointments and also apologized to Katelyn following that was a wonderful conversation with her. So here I am thinking everything was okay. I call to double check my appointment for last Friday and Jared stated I was no longer a patient or welcome back there and I should be getting a letter in the mail. Completely blindsided me. While I got the letter on Saturday and in writing, basically said they are discharging me for my mental illness. If you ask me that is discrimination. DISCRIMINATION AGAINST MY HEALTH. I didn't ask for this brain. I didn't ask for childhood trauma. I didn't ask to be in a car accident that wasn't my fault that put me in crippling pain. I owned up to my mistake for the way I handled myself, how are you going to own up to this Dr. Van Dyken?

Fantastic experience: Truly wouldn't go anywhere else for chiropractic or massage! Dr. Van Dyken has helped me with back and neck pain for a couple years now and even helped relieve pain throughout my second pregnancy! I've also done the Laser Therapy for a ligament sprain in my neck and the instant relief was amazing! I've also seen pretty much every massage therapist and all of them are amazing! They all have different but great techniques and I love the variety and different relief I get from each one. I bring my kiddos here and I refer as many people as I can!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. V and his team for some years now and I must say they are one of the best offices I get to go into. All the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They know me by name when I walk in and it’s a very comfortable setting. Dr. V and his team are also very caring and go above and beyond to make sure their patients are well taken care of and get the proper treatment needed. I would recommend them to anyone who is needing their kind of services. Also, very family oriented and supportive of those that need to bring their children with them. Fantastic experience: Love coming to this office. The staff is great - very upbeat and they smile at my corny jokes. While this seems a silly thing to appreciate from a staff - I'm old, so when I can get someone to smile with me it will be a great day. The also help with any of my insurance questions. I always feel better when leaving both physically and mentally.

Fantastic experience: I injured my back this week and I was able to get in right away. Staff was so kind and worked with my scheduling needs all week. I got follow up texts and reminders that were very timely. Dr. Paula was so friendly and helped me with my pain. She introduced me to laser therapy that worked wonders for my injury. They are at Spokane Spinal and Sports. You will not be disappointed. My family have been seeing them for years.

I felt totally confident in his ability to help my neck issues, he listened and didn’t force treatment when my neck was too inflamed. The exercise he gave me to do helped tremendously. Positive experience: ** This is an update to my previous post a week ago.** I posted my thoughts about my experience with Dr. Ken and his office staff & about getting a bill over a year after my last visit...and I am happy to say that immediately after becoming aware of my concerns, Dr. Ken contacted me to discuss the situation. He listened to my frustrations. He took responsibility and apologized for not getting back to me about my xrays, and also for the fact that some of their processes caused the billing situation that occurred. He explained that they have worked to correct those things and hopefully they have better procedures in place now. Under the circumstances presented, he waived my outstanding bill that was set to go to collection which is a big relief. I feel like he genuinely wanted to make things right, and I really appreciate that he has that kind of integrity. That goes a long way these days!

Whether it’s my upper back or my right hip, she puts all the pieces back in place and gets me out of pain and mobile. I can’t express my gratitude for her!

Negative experience: This used to be the best place when under the previous ownership. But not since "Dr. Ken" took over. He saw me about 6 times then he recommended I get xrays. After I got the xrays - he never called me back with the results. The girl in the office was very rude when I called, said she would have him return my calls but he never did. I spoke to the office manager Jared he was patronizing and rude and also said he would have Ken call me. Either they didnt give him the message or Ken just never called me back.I finally had to go to another chiropractor to get the results & complete my care. And on top of that...his office billing manager at the time made arrangements to charge my credit card for my visits which I assumed she was doing. A year and a half later I get a past due notice saying they're going to send me to collection for "payments not made". When I spoke to Jared he said the lady who made the arrangements no longer works there and they have no record of the payments. I no longer have the credit card associated with the arrangement so I can't see how much they actually charged me! But they insist they didn't get any payments. I don't think thats true. I believe they are charging me twice. I wonder if anyone else has had this happen? I would avoid this place.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many chiropractors over the years and I didn’t like a one. I didn’t like being twisted into a pretzel and have then throw their bodies on top of me to manipulate my spine. Once meeting Dr. Ken and having him manipulate my spine, I will never go anywhere else. Knows ways to adjust you more gently, with the same results. His team is like family, only better. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this office for probably 10 years now, since being diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis of my spine. Dr Shirley came highly recommended by my pcp and he was right. I would not trust my chiropractic care anywhere else. They can also treat other sports related injuries and TMJ. I have been seen after car accidents as well. And now that Dr Shirley has retired Dr V has done an amazing job treating me since. I could not recommend a better place.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing KC Ridgley for about 4 years. On my first visit, I was walking with a cane because I had no cartilage left in my knees and had difficulty walking. After a few visits, I haven't used the cane since and his targeted massages on my knees have made it possible for me to walk without canes and without pain. I would recommend him to anyone who has pain and joint issues. Without him, I would not be walking.

He is gentle and well mannered. He doesn't just flip and toss you like a pancake . My body is doing a lot better . Fantastic experience: Excellent chiropractor! I've dealt with a reoccurring issue for several years, and this is the only place where I go in, often same-day, I get everything put back in place, and I'm good as new with a little rest (This is after an intensive treatment that lasted a couple months) To clarify, that's going from immobile to mobile in a matter of hours from a flare-up. Excellent work

Fantastic experience: It's been manyyyyyyy years since my serious car accident in college (don't try to figure out how many years, just trust me when I say it was awhile ago). I have been to chiropractors EVERY WHERE - Spokane Valley, Garland district, even Texas! No one compares to the level of care you recieve here. The front desk/billing staff are always eager to help and patient to answer any (and all) the questions you have. Dr. Van Dyken is a genius! He takes the time to listen to what you say (because you know your body best) and then comes up with a proactive treatment plan. For me, part of that plan was starting to incorporate excercise therapy in addition to chiropractic treatments. There are a lot of places you can choose, but I truly recommend you start here.
