Dr Martinez was very patient with all my concerns and took extra time to listen. He was very informative. I felt more at ease after my visit than when I went in. Fantastic experience: My first appointment at Lematta Chiropractic was wonderful,the staff was very courteous and attentive,you could tell that they were all professional from top to bottom! I am so happy that my friend Juli recommended them to me! My next visit is on Monday and I am more than looking forward to it! We are suppose to get some snow this coming weekend in Hampton and I let the staff know that I hope they are open on Monday or I will be the only truck in the parking lot!!!️

Positive experience: I initially went to this clinic for general lower back pain, and at that stage my experience was positive. The chiropractor and staff were kind, professional, and the early treatment felt appropriate for uncomplicated back discomfort. Over time, my symptoms progressed from localized lower back pain into clear sciatic nerve pain. After later obtaining MRI imaging, it became evident that I have a large lumbar disc extrusion with nerve compression. In hindsight, I wish there had been more caution once my symptoms changed, particularly around the rehabilitation exercises that were recommended. These included stability ball work and single-leg balance exercises, which may not be appropriate for everyone with active disc-related sciatica, especially prior to imaging and a confirmed diagnosis. I also found the payment structure difficult to navigate. After enrolling in a wellness plan, treatment costs varied from visit to visit, roughly between $49–$80, which made budgeting challenging. While the staff were always polite and nothing felt overtly pressured, the sales and marketing model lacked clarity for me and ultimately contributed to my decision to discontinue care. I don’t believe there was any ill intent, and the people here are genuinely kind. However, for patients whose symptoms evolve into nerve-related pain, I would strongly encourage advocating for diagnosis-specific care, asking detailed questions about exercise recommendations, and ensuring full clarity around pricing before committing financially. This clinic may be a good fit for some, but my experience highlighted the importance of adapting care as symptoms change.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love it here. I been having lower back pain for years and got so many X-rays and the doctors kept telling me there was nothing wrong it’s just chronic pain. Well, I was referred to them by my boss and come to find out I have sciatica and pinched nerve in my left hip, scroliosis and problems with my lower lumbar. I started the wellness program an I’m on 2 out of 3 an I feel such a huge improvement. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here.

Fantastic experience: I've never been to the chiropractor before but the consultation experience was very informative and I am looking forward to my adjustment this week. The whole team was so nice and welcoming, even the other patients were so friendly. The office vibe was cool and relaxing while also very professional.

Negative experience: Honestly this place felt like a scam. I’m shocked with all the great ratings. First off everyone was very kind, no problems there. The questionnaire is what tipped me off right at the beginning. Kept asking the same question what will my life be like without pain. A legitimate doctor or office would not ask this over and over again. Pain free can we please move on to relevant medical questions. They publicly celebrated a woman now in “maintenance phase”. The woman was gracious about it but very obviously did not give her consent to publicly announce it to everyone in the office. Isn’t medical info, private? So that felt like a scam that the show was more for other patients to reach this amazing milestone. In the exam room they had old equipment to take vitals and measurements. Never did any of it which led me to believe it’s for show to appear legit. Women assistance are in scrubs but I doubt if any of them have any medical training. My host was very sweet but new at the sales pitch. The big spotlight was the x-ray room all for $20 intro fee. He was taking a X-ray where my pain in the middle back. Did not have me remove my bra (with metal). Seemed to not really care where my hair was. All things that obstruct X-ray imaging. I’m not a doctor or radiologist but I’ve had enough X-rays done to know this would obstruct picture of my spine. Even with all this I thought hear him out. Then abruptly ended the session to let’s schedule for a treatment plan at your next appointment. Which would be the full cost. After careful consideration I decided it all felt like a scam. Who knows what my expensive treatment plan would’ve been with my fake/blurred X-ray. I’m debating on reporting the doctor. Who is actually licensed as a Chiropractor in the state of VA till 2026. So at least he got that going for him.

Fantastic experience: If you're having any kind of back pain spinal pain or any kind of pain at all, this is a great place to go to get relief of any kind of pain, staff is great, the chiropractic doctors know their stuff, I highly recommend this chiropractic office. I go a couple times a month, I did not suffer any type of pain at all. So for having any kind of pain or trouble I will most definitely check them out and give them a try you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: So… turns out I’ve been walking on a fractured foot since Feb 2024. I fell down the stairs while rushing to get ready, and the pain just blended in with my usual chronic pain, autoimmune flares, and daily inflammation. I didn’t get it checked… until now. The verdict? Fractures in both my cuboid and cuneiform bones, and they’ve already started shifting my metatarsals upward. I’m officially booted up and focused on healing now because of Dr. Hayden's x-rays and medical exam. Let this be your reminder: if something feels off—even in a body that’s used to hurting—please listen. You deserve care too!

Positive experience: UPDATE: Dr Andy and all the doctors who made this place awesome (in my opinion) have all gone. Dr Martinez is the Lone Ranger and His Style is not to My liking. They have HONESTLY given me the most comprehensive back exam I have EVER had. I can't thank Dr Andy (and the whole team) enough. After 20 years of the same diagnoses, a ridiculously expensive "surgery", years of physical therapy, and muscle relaxers, I finally got answers to my questions. This office is an hour away from my house and I will gladly travel for what I have come to believe is top notch, natural, no drugs, treatments. They have, I think, the lastest technology to understand what is happening to one's neck and spine. They offer physical therapy as apart of their treatment plans. But most importantly, they offer caring doctors and low prices (compared to a regular doctors office). I've been to chiropractors all off my life. Driving all the way out to Hampton was the best decision I've made!

My adjustment journey started with a little soreness but after a while felt like I was standing more upright and less pain.

I have never had a physician that made understanding what was going on with my body as simple as Dr. Martinez. It was a interactive conversation going over my x-rays asking if I could see various things and then explaining how it should look. They used great care when we were discussing how to make the treatments afordable to fit in my budget without compromising my treatment plan. Negative experience: I haven't even stepped in this office yet; I'm trying to make an appointment and ask a question I got three different answers. this is not good it seems to me they don't know what they are doing. if they are getting communication wrong. this is not how you start things anyone interested in coming here has a change of thoughts not to come here. communication is the key.
