I have a twist and bent back due to Scoliosis. I only realized I had this problem when I turned 65. I have managed to stay healthy and able to walk, sit and stand without needing a a walker. I have also received much relief in both shoulders which were candidates for surgery. Experiencia fantástica: Before I started going to Freedom, I was dealing with frequent headaches and migraines as well as constant knee and wrist pain. I had been dealing with all of those things for quite some time (probably 10+ years prior to my first visit to Freedom). It got to the point where no painkillers would even touch the headache or the knee and wrist pains. My next step for the knee and wrist pain was surgery, and I did not want to do that. So I learned to live with and around all the pain for about 10 years. It got to the point where the knee pain and headaches especially were keeping me from doing things I loved. Everything I did would trigger headaches or a migraine. I enjoy running but the knee pain prevented me from doing that. I started going to Freedom in 2019 after a friend of mine convinced me that my health needed to be more of a priority. I agreed. So I started going to Freedom… and it’s been life changing. I no longer deal with knee or wrist pain. Like at all. I run all the time now and it rarely triggers my knee pain. And in the rare moments it does (like when I did a half marathon recently), going to Freedom sets that pain straight immediately. The wrist pain is fully nonexistent and nothing triggers it now. I also went from having weekly migraines to having maybe 1-2 per year. My headaches have gotten WAY less frequent, and they go away much quicker whenever I do get one now. I am so beyond thankful for the team at Freedom Chiropractic for helping me get my life back. I really do feel so FREE now! What a true blessing they have been.

All the little things that I worry about as a mom were not brushed off and I felt heard. The staff and doctors are a delight to be around! As a mom of 2 elementary aged kids I am always waiting on the stomach bug or flu to come home from school with them. This holiday season was the first time in several years that the kids haven't been sick at some point. We have not had a sick visit to the Dr since June or July and that is a big deal for us. I wish this was available to me while I was pregnant and when my kids were infants! If you are skeptically curious about Freedom I would encourage you to give them a try. Experiencia negativa: I was very excited when we moved to the area as a new mama to become a patient here with my baby and found the office while pregnant. The staff was super friendly and welcoming as well as the doctors from initial impression, and I planned to be a patient for a long time as well as my family. However, that all changed once I started the process of bringing my baby on board. For an office that specializes in pediatric care, you think caring for my baby and her needs would be upmost priority. We agreed to start a plan for her, and then at the initial consult, we were told her visits (on top of mine) would be an additional $300/month. How do parents afford this care so readily in the area, especially as new parents? That did not sit well with me, regardless of training. And that payment was “discounted”. There was no negotiation when I mentioned finances as a hesitation. (I want to point out for all of the new families out there, when I lived in the heart of NYC, I paid $200/month for chiropractic care. The difference between Knoxville, TN cost and New York cost is night and day.) I went ahead at Freedom and had my baby get her first adjustment that day. The doctor kept my baby crying in the office during the consult for an hour with me sitting uncomfortably and then told me my baby had birth trauma and and gave me the financial commitment breakdown before offering to adjust her. Then, on top of it all, I was shockingly mom shamed by the doctor as a new mom of a 3 month old behind closed doors. I know many families in the area like this office. I did too until that visit showed how little the office and doctor really cared. Very disappointed in our experience, and I tried reaching out twice to talk through it with the staff, once in person and once over the phone, was told I would get a call, and I did not get a call to chat. I told a staff member in the past that the initial baby visit was disappointing, and she walked away without asking why or showing she cared. All of this left me very confused when this office prides itself on the friendliness and empathy of their business model- as women owned, women led, and most staff are mamas themselves. I was very misled as a patient. I am posting this review so that the office can grow from my patient experience and hopefully make improvements for future mamas out there. Mamas, look at all options in the area first before choosing an office for your baby.

Experiencia fantástica: It was a happy accident that we stumbled into pediatric chiropractic, and we’re so glad we did! After having issues breastfeeding my newborn, my lactation consultant encouraged me to try chiropractic for two weeks to see if it made a difference in nursing. Baby did ultimately have to have oral ties released with a laser, but the chiropractic care she has received has made such a difference helping release tension, and helping her cope with the oral tie procedure, and other newborn issues. Every time we come to the office, my baby calms down, smiles, and coos happily as she is being adjusted. She also burps and poops a whole lot right after we leave, which makes her even happier. The difference I’ve seen in my newborn has made me sign another one of my kids up for a treatment plan to begin soon. When I have questions about how things work, they are happy to point me in the right direction for further reading, with articles and research to back up what they are saying, instead of telling me to blindly trust them because they are the doctors - this is so very important to me, and has been so refreshing. The office is so nice, and they have truly thought of everything to make my visit go as smoothly as possible, even with 5 little kids. The doctors and staff are all so sweet, and everyone seems to be so happy working here. They know all my kids by name, not just the one that is currently being treated. It’s truly relaxing to come in here, which is refreshing because appointments with all my kids are often stressful at other places. It takes a lot off my mind just to come in here and know they’ve thought of everything and my needs will be taken care of! We can’t wait to sign everyone up for the treatment plan one by one. We love it here!

From the moment we walked into their office we were warmly greeted and felt welcome. I have to say that we've never been in a more beautiful office space! Our wait was actually enjoyable. I truly valued how thorough they were. We felt cared for. They weren't pushy about signing up for a package, which is always appreciated. I'll have to add an updated review once we have our follow-up visit and first adjustment. We're hopeful!

When I started coming here in 2018 I was in constant pain and couldn't do some very basic things that most people take for granted. I am happy to share that since coming to Freedom Chiropractic I am virtually pain-free and my range of motion has increased. This is not your typical spine-cracking chiropractic. In fact, there is no spine or neck cracking whatsoever. Freedom's chiropractic method uses a sublte tap at key points along the spine with a small handheld tool called an Integrator. That little tap signals the brain to heal the body through the nervous system. There's more to it, but don't take my word for it; do yourself a favor and go see for yourself! Everyone that works there is wonderful and will make you feel welcome and at ease. The office is clean, comfortable, and kid friendly. I highly recommend Freedom Chiropractic if you are in pain or unwell for any reason.

My son has been seen here since September, he is finally hitting milestones, and battles illness ( which is seldom) quicker than ever without antibiotics or doctor trips. Before coming here he wouldn't stack blocks, and he was in 5 different therapies. I have seen more neurological function with bringing him to Freedom Knoxville than I did with 6 months worth of therapy. Worth every penny to have him treated here.

I saw several chiropractors in Knoxville and most use manual bone adjustments compared to Freedom Chiropractic where you’ll receive a neurological adjustment - less invasive and way more effective! You can make appointments to fit your schedule and reschedule at the last minute if necessary. You are in and out in no time. I hardly ever take my phone inside with me because I know it’s going to be that quick. And if I do have to wait momentarily I just chat it up with my girl Suzie at the front desk. All the ladies there are so friendly and personable with everyone. The doctors do a great job with fixing my problem areas without me even having to tell them what’s bothering me. I get to see all four doctors rotating different weeks so that nothing is missed during the months. When I started, I saw immediate results and found relief for tremendous back pain. I couldn’t wait to go every week just to find Relief. Through time I have seen less and less back pain.. I have scoliosis that is in operable and have made this a weekly ritual. There is very little wait time the way that they structure office visits and the doctors will listen to you and talk with you about what’s going on. I stopped going for a year and I noticed the impact that chiropractic health really had for me. When I stopped going my migraines came back and my allergies were horrible. I couldn’t get back to Freedom fast enough. My husband use to not be able to turn his neck fully from side to side without pain and now he has no problem turning his head to either side without any pain. My kids love coming here and my especially loves the Galentine’s event every year.

I shudder to think what shape I would be in now-not only physically, but mentally as well-if I had not overcome my scepticism and tried Freedom out. My health is better, my outlook on life is better, I sleep better and I can skydive. All because I went into Freedom. The Dr.s at Freedom even stopped the pain of the peripheral neuropathy my GP advised me nothing could be done for. Try Freedom out. Become amazed and free of what ails you! As unbelievable as it seems to skeptics, the transformations that Dr. Sara and her Chiropractic skills can coax from your very own body are miraculous. I had lower back surgery for a ruptured disc in 2007 and the same on my neck in 2008. I couldn’t work in the yard as much I liked. I had too many headaches. I spent 4-5 evenings a week with a heating pad and ibuprofen. I went to see Dr, Sara in Spring of 2016. One of the best decisions I ever made. I started seeing/feeling improvements 2-3 months in. Then one day it just struck me how much better I felt, Not only throughout my body but emotionally as well. I even slept better. I just completed my third set of recommendations. Since I first saw Dr. Sara my headaches are gone, lower back pain is gone.I can’t remember when I saw the heating pad last and I have participated in 12 5k’s. I was never able to be that active before. Not only is the care and treatment you receive of the utmost quality, every single solitary person at Freedom is friendly, efficient and caring. The computer even makes you feel welcome.

The facility is welcoming and accommodating, with large waiting areas and a complimentary coffee and water bar. The staff is friendly, caring and always beyond helpful. All of the doctors are extremely knowledgeable and very educational about my chiropractic experience. I am always treated with the best of care and real concern for my health. My chiropractic adjustments are healing, the service is fast and the overall experience is most pleasant. Experiencia negativa: Our family was hoping to find a good chiropractic office in town and just had assessments at Freedom. The office is very family-friendly and the employees were all accommodating and polite. After getting our scans and talking with them about the plan, we were a little shocked. They required 3 visits per week for the adults and 1-2 for each kid, depending on the age. After offering a discount for multiple family members, we were still looking at paying over $500 a month for the next 4-6 mo. They would not allow us to come on an as-needed basis. If we didn’t follow their plan, we could not be seen. In our experience, any dr who requires that frequency of visits isn’t healing/fixing anything. We have all been under regular chiropractic care for years, and are not starting from scratch with major issues that need addressed. I would not recommend this office. There are others in Knoxville (and surrounding towns) who don’t force you into spending hundreds of dollars, and let you decide when you need to be seen.

Experiencia fantástica: After a fall almost 3 years ago, I called Freedom Chiropractic the same day to try and get relief. I had always had back pain but the fall aggravated it to a level I hadn't experienced in years. The doctors at Freedom were very caring and listened to all of my complaints about my pain level which was initially very high. There have been a couple of other times in the last 2 years where my back would just "lock up" for no reason. Every single time, the doctors got me back moving normally again within one or two visits. The vibe and atmosphere is light and fun! Very family oriented and treatment for all ages. Highly recommend. Staff is also amazing!

And was told I would need surgery to end my pain. I've been going to Freedom for 2 years. And getting adjusted weekly helps my wrists extremely. I no longer have to sleep in the braces. And I don't have to have the surgery to correct the carpal tunnel. Definitely happy and glad I tried Freedom chiropractic.

The Torque Release Technique that Freedom uses is gentle and target focused. I feel immediate and long term results. And I love the yearly scans as they confirm my thoughts on improvement made and areas where I think improvement could me made. This is my third year with Freedom and I feel the staff and Doctors are caring and very supportive and personally interested in me.
