Experiencia fantástica: After knee replacement surgery, Stevin was able to help me significantly with some soft tissue therapy on my knee. That opened the door for Dani and Stephanie to really help me with strengthening therapy. Very grateful for their expertise and direction.

Experiencia fantástica: Chase is the best physical therapist I’ve had! He’s very knowledgeable and good at what he does. As someone who needs context to things, he explains what he’s doing and why he’s doing it giving me the tools necessary to feel better when I’m not there. I feel confident putting my recovery in any of the PT’s hands there. They are very collaborative and it’s a great atmosphere. I’ve had probably 5 of the PT’s there (I always go with who’s available around my schedule.) I 10/10 recommend every PT there. Iowa Ortho itself is challenging (long wait times, hard to get a hold of anyone, I feel like I’m constantly calling my doctor to ask what the next steps are instead of them laying out a plan for me and I was told they don’t prescribe medication unless you’ve had surgery so pain management is lacking. They say my doctor is Dr. Vincent but I have yet to meet him or get a clear trajectory of my path forward from him.

Experiencia fantástica: Had CMC arthroplasty surgery done mid April, started PT at six weeks post surgery, and it’s going well. I’ve been working with Savannah, who has been great to work with. Very knowledgeable and knows what I need from feedback that I have provided her.

He has a sense of humor that she found to be humorous. He was gentle and very thorough. He explained everything he was doing and showed us pictures so we could better understand her injury and the care he was providing. Highly recommend him.

Under her instuction I have aready gained greater use of my hand. As I progress though therapy following my suspensionplasty removing the arthritic ridden trapezium bone I expect through her tutelage to continue to regain nearly 100% of my original usage. I am a woodworker and sculptor and nearly fully amnidextrouse. The function of my hands is critical to my life. I will endevor to follow her careful instruction to regain as much function as possible.

Experiencia positiva: I was 15 minutes late getting in and it felt like he was in a hurry. Thought I was going to learn how to strengthen my leg before surgery. My surgery is 9 weeks out. I came home with a booklet with a few pictures of people doing exercises after knee replacement. And told of a web site to go to for help watching the exercises. He was nice but didn't feel like I learned much.

Experiencia fantástica: I worked with Stevin and Steph for the past 15 sessions since my knee replacement surgery. I am at 8 weeks post surgery and my recovery has been amazing. Today was my last session due to insurance only paying for 15 sessions but day one when I saw Stevin I couldn’t even lift my leg without a rope, and today they had me doing kettle bell squats which I did with no problem. The staff is super friendly and would highly recommend this PT facility

They both are also good listeners of how much pain you are in and the conditioning they give to get people back on track. I'm not done yet! Works for me! A+ Is my grade!

Medical people often say we are going to do this and this, but What is the goal, why do we do it this way, etc.. I came out of our session fully comfortable with what will be going on and how these exercises will help. I was impressed. I was a gymnast, I have had a few therapists.
