Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely wonderful! Faith at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind. And Dr. Maples was very thorough and his technique is heavenly! Experiencia negativa: From the website... First appointment may take up to 30 minutes. Today I was turned away 47 minutes before their closing time. Stated that it wasn't enough time to onboard a new patient... So which is it? I guess these places are just taking in so much profit that they can turn patients away.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Boyd at the columbia, SC loactions is an amazing magician. She gave me an adjustment last week and was without pain nearly all week and I started being able to sleep 8 to 12 hours a night to catch up on years of not sleeping more than 3 or 4 hours at a shot for a max of 6 hrs a night. The receptionist Sai is a also a ray of sunshine and very helpful.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Maples does great for my back neck and hip adjustments. Also Courtney is the best front desk coordinator. All I know is I've been going through chiropractic care for years. I am a dental hygienist and my back shoulders and neck become very tight. I also have been in accidents and a horse went wild and I fell off. Just want others to know they aren't there to rip you off. They dont take xrays or deal with insurance. They are a wellness facility with a way better rate than the others that I've been too!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Beware! Horrible business practices! Canceled contract and have a copy of my cancellation but this Irmo SC location has charged me 2 months in a row after my cancellation! The office has done nothing and now I am going to the credit card company with my cancellation papers to file fraud charges against them.

Experiencia negativa: I would give it zero stars, but it wouldn't allow me to so so. I've never been to this place, but I had booked an appointment for me and my children. Morning of, Faith calls me and states that the doctor wanted details of my symptoms. I felt uncomfortable sharing my and my children's medical conditions over the phone and expressed that to her. I told her that I would rather wait to see the doctor to do that. Her attitude changed and she then, in a passive aggressive way, stated to me that "in all of my 8 years of working here, no one had refused to give me details of their symptoms" and that I was on a recorded line so the doctor will be able to hear my symptoms before going in. First of all, I didn't refuse. Second, I started to tell her what was going on, but felt very uncomfortable and didn't want my and my daughter's medical history to be recorded on a phone conversation. I repeatedly expressed that to her, but she kept forcefully insisting. At that point, I already had felt she was being invasive and intrusive. I replied back to her that in all my 55 years, I've never had to go over my symptoms in detail over the phone. I've always talked with the doctor directly and that 55 years trumps 8 years. Finally, after going back and forth, I told her to cancel all of our appointments because I can go to another establishment. There are plenty of chiropractors in Columbia. I felt that she and this office were very unproffessional. I felt like she didn't care that I was not comfortable with this procedure. I just wanted to get an adjustment and have my children get one too. I'm a retired holistic practitioner and have never experienced this where I did not get to talk with the doctor directly. It felt very cookie cutter and like I was just another body going through an assembly line; like a cow going out to slaughter. My first and only experience with this office was belittling, cold and uncaring. Faith was the first contact. She represented herself and the doctor. I felt she was demeaning and did not listen to me. She can take her 8 years and throw it in the closet! I will not be going to this office.

Experiencia negativa: The manager is rude and I was signed up for a plan and that wasn't explain to me. After 500$ was charged on my card, they would not refund any money. The manager basically called me a liar. They don't care about people. They care about money

We regret any misunderstanding about your plan. We work very hard to ensure that our staff clearly explains all of the policies to our patients in order to avoid a situation such as this.

Our Wellness Plan gives patients 4 adjustments a month for only $79 - our best deal on regular care. Per our membership agreement, your plan has a 2 month minimum that then continues month to month until you request cancellation and turn in the proper form.

All patients who choose to take advantage of one our plans agrees to all terms of the plan in writing before commencement of any billing. Those agreements clearly state how the plan works, how it is billed, our refund policy, and our cancellation policy.

With that being said, we continually strive for great customer service and will work to ensure transparency with our plans, which allow us to provide our care for a very discounted rate. We welcome you to reach out if you wish to discuss this further with a member of our team. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a patient for 4 years. They’ve helped me enjoy a better life by reducing my spinal pain that I’ve had over the years due to stenosis. With the exception of one chiropractor who I won’t mention, because his technique is absolutely atrocious, the other chiropractors are GREAT! Highly recommend and enjoy the convenience of going to other practices whenever I’m out of town! Best deal in town! $59/month for 4 visits a month and only $10 a visit if it’s with in that 30 day time frame…

Experiencia negativa: This place needs a lot of front desk training. Each time you deal with someone new you will have a completely different experience. They will tell you completely different information each time you speak with someone. Highly recommend the joint chiropractic, but never go to the Harbisson Blvd location.

When you came yesterday it was only her second day and she was doing her best. We normally schedule folks at that stage with an experienced employee until they get fully on board. Unfortunately we had several out sick at one time and she stepped up and helped so we wouldn't have to close the clinic, but be there to take care of you. Again, sorry it was unpleasant for you.

Experiencia negativa: No compassion I am a member on a plan that was visiting Columbia. I had to drive in traffic for 1 hour from East to West Columbia. The trip should have taken 34 mins, but because of the heavy traffic it took me driving in traffic for over an hour an half to get to the door 2 mins after closing. I do realize it was 2 mins after closing time, but they were sitting there talking. I explained that I had drove for over a hour and half to get to them and my neck was locked up. I explained that I was in pain and my neck was hurting, but that did not matter. Now I will have to wait until Monday morning to be seen or go to the emergency room for pain meds.

Experiencia positiva: My daughter had initially recommended this place just for keeping her back loose and mobile. It's helped her with her pain. I signed up out of curiosity and have enjoyed my first month of weekly care. The rate is affordable and they let you cancel at any time. I was surprised how little wait there was (yay) and how quickly and efficiently care takes place. I kinda wish they'd add some simple stretches, other bodywork options or even more patient education to the experience. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this joint and also the northeast location near Killian rd.

Experiencia negativa: Receptionist was unbelievably rude. I Came in in a downpour of a rainstorm. She made a snotty sarcastic statement about me needing my mask on. Sent me back out in the rain to get one... came back in and she was griping and the next guy about a mask. She refused me services because she claimed I had a "refusal to pay".at my home location. Likely a change in credit card on file but rather than call to straighten it out she just sent me away. I have been a member with the joint for many years, but this visit, was a horrible experience.

Our staff is required to kindly enforce the mask mandate that is a legal requirement as healthcare facility. This is always done with your health as our priority.

Our Wellness Coordinator did notice a discrepancy in the system that had to be fixed before we could serve you at our location. She did offer to help you to the best of her ability, but unfortunately only the home location where the issue occurred had access to their payment system to properly fix this for you.

Experiencia negativa: Please be advised that the staff at the Harbinson location will not inform you of all the so called"contract details" when they are selling you what they presume to be a sweet deal. I only planned to attend for 4 visits and was so called given 3 for free. I paid $98 my first visit which was fine. I ended up having to work weekends and closing due to coverage at my job so I missed my next few sessions. No big deal. I also ended up being quarantined so that also impacted me not making my sessions but hey, I paid my money and I was fine with that. All of a sudden billed $69 outside of the $98. I called and the lady says yeah you signed a contract. I said no I didn't, I agreed to the 7 sessions I already paid for and didn't even use because life happened. Basically the lady's proceeds to tell me I'm sol. I'm mortified and definitely plan to spread the word on the horrible customer service and sales scheme going on over there. A total waste of time and money. Horrible sales tactics bad business all around.

Our Wellness Plan gives patients 4 adjustments a month for only $69 - our best deal on regular care. Per our membership agreement, your plan has a 2 month minimum that will continue month to month until you request cancellation and turn in the proper form.

All patients who choose to take advantage of one our plans agrees to all terms of the plan in writing before commencement of any billing, and we keep those records on file. Those agreements clearly state how the plan works, how it is billed, our refund policy, and our cancellation policy.

With that being said, we continually strive for great customer service, and we will work to ensure that we are being transparent with our plans which allow us to provide our care for a very discounted rate. Experiencia negativa: Very unpleasant experience. Dr. Maple was a nice guy but my pain got worse and never subsided five visits in. I ended up having to get other therapy from another practice because my concerns weren’t being addressed. I called to discuss my problem and never received a return phone call. At that point I was frustrated and their only concern was that I was under contract and needed to come in to fill out a cancellation form otherwise they would continue to charge me. Update: Two visits into new therapy and my back is much better. My legs aren’t uneven, my backs not crooked. Just needed a care plan that listened and works. Double the money… But so happy I made the move.

Experiencia fantástica: Originally I was skeptical of having a chiropractor adjust my body, until December 2019 when my neck locked up on me from constant strain caused by looking at dual monitors at work. The pain was unbearable until I went to The Joint, and the doctors there helped alleviate the pain I felt being locked in one position. After that I continued going due to them saving me from that bad experience with my neck.

Experiencia fantástica: I was having some really intense headaches and migraines and someone suggested going to a chiropractor. After researching, I saw The Joint had great reviews and decided to jump on the $29 initial visit price they were offering. That visit I was popped back into place and set up on a personalized plan to keep my alignment. The staff is friendly and helpful! Visits are quick and bring instant relief (for me anyways). I highly recommend this place!

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love The Joint! I have now been coming for 5 years. Specifically I find Dr. West to be a gem. He is easy to talk to and has a sense of humor but more importantly he truly takes the time to determine problem areas, to use different methods to correct the problem and to give advice for helping and/or avoiding issues as needed. Regular care has truly lessened my headaches and helped my sinuses. This place is definitely worth it for me - cost effective with quality chiropractic care. What more can I ask for?

Experiencia positiva: Although I may be young, I walk around and lift and pull heavy materials for 8 hours, 5 days a week and workout everyday. So that really put stress on my body, importantly my back and knees.My second visit was way better than my first. My first official visit she really didn't do anything I was in and out no less than 10 minutes. However, in my second visited, he relief the pain in my back, knees and my neck. I basically got the experience I wanted in the second visit.

Experiencia negativa: Completely unsatisfied. My boyfriend who was in unbearable pain needed to see a chiropractor. We just so happened to see an advertisement on television for this place. We went there and he sat in the lobby for nearly two hours. He filled out several pages of paperwork. He finally gets called back and the doctor asked him if he’s ever seen a chiropractor before, which he answers yes. He hadn’t gone to a chiropractor in almost a year, but this doctor did not care. He turned him away after waiting for TWO HOURS, just because he has seen a different chiropractor in the past. So, my boyfriend leaves with unbearable pain because he has seen someone different in the past. It’s like shopping at target and you go to Walmart and they turn you away because you’ve shopped at target before! Do not recommend what’s so ever.

Experiencia negativa: Completely unacceptable even with calling the office and then expected me for an appointment, I was made to wait and an hour and half after filling out 7 pages of information just to be told that he would not even work on me although it’s a complete necessity and in pain, I was told since I have been to a different chiropractor within in a year and completely refused to help me! Also refused to give me my paper work back so I can now be spammed with emails by a place who refuses patients. Do not believe their advertisements on specials, waste of time, energy, money. Do not recommend what so ever!
