Oddly enough, my biggest complaint at that initial appointment was persistent tinnitus in my left ear (which had lasted a month at this point- and it was LOUD!) I researched that tinnitus can be quite common in pregnancy, but unfortunately when I went to urgent care & asked my OB about it, they just blamed it on being pregnant & couldn’t offer me any helpful solutions. As a nurse, I knew that chiropractic care had a wide range of benefits during pregnancy, so I started to look for someone reputable in Honolulu. Dr. Luke was a highly rated chiropractor, and I’m so glad I landed on him because he immediately validated my concerns and I could tell he genuinely cared about my well being. He was confident he could help my problem. This was my first adjustment ever and I was surprised it was completely painless. The day after that first appointment, the tinnitus was gone. I was ecstatic. Not to mention I walked out of his office with less back & neck pain. I have continued to see him weekly since then to ensure proper alignment and to help prepare my body for labor. At 31 weeks, I feel extremely lucky to be able to say I have very little discomfort. I attribute a lot of that to Dr. Luke’s care and will continue to see him until I deliver! Investing in your wellbeing is always worth it- I can’t recommend Dr. Luke enough!

Dr. Luke was professional, took x-rays before starting treatments, and explained everything. Because of the type of chiropractic methods he uses, there were no dramatic or scary manipulations that I had feared. What I did find over time was significant improvement and pain relief. I encourage people with back pain to seriously consider checking him out (always taking due diligence based on their medical history, etc., because no medical treatment is right for everyone). My experience has been that Dr. Luke will answer any questions—even the tough ones! He’s a kind, thoughtful, and considerate provider. I’m writing this because he’s been a big help to me, and perhaps others would also benefit from seeing him.

Experiencia negativa: This is probably the most expensive chiropractor that I have gone to ever in my life. $260 for an appointment is just outrageous considering that my other person that I usually go to see charges me $95 as an initial appointment and $60 for every other follow up visit. I feel like majority of the time was talking and conversation, then getting treated. The part that really annoyed me was the end part. He asked me to give him a five star review, and then said he would go on my page and leave me a five star review as well, even though he is not a client of mine but continue to give me brilliant review on Google. What a scam watch out..

My twisted hips were realigned, allowing me to attend my conference again.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a long time coming, but I promised I would make this post and finally have the time to do it! Dr. Luke is amazing! He made me feel welcomed and as soon as I told him about my pregnancy issue he booked me in the next day. He worked a miracle, and helped me make some room in my womb by adjusting my body. When I was 36 weeks pregnant I found out my baby was transverse breeched. I did everything in my power to flip my baby including acupuncture every other day, stretches, and chiropractic appointments. At my 38 week appointment my baby girl was finally head down and I avoided having to do any medical procedures. I went into labor at 39 weeks and 4 days, it was smooth and I’d like to think that the chiropractic work I had done helped me have a much better birthing experience then with my first. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Luke has been seeing our 4 month old, she was born with bilateral vocal cord paralysis and after months in the NICU and tracheostomy surgery she was very tense, tight and finding uncomfortable positions to lay in. The last few weeks we have been seeing Dr. Luke and immediate improvements were seen. From being tense, rigid and favoring certain positions our little girl can now “dance” and roll around comfortably. We have also seen improvements with her sleep, being much more relaxed and breathing easier. Also her eyes seem to be tracking a lot more in unison and finally focusing on certain objects she is interested in. (this is immediately noticeable on the walk out) Dr. Luke talked us through everything and explained through personal experiences how important what we were doing really is. I also have been taking my mother to Dr. Luke each week when I go in for my appointment, and I have seen significant improvements in my mother who has Parkinson's, who has suffered a stroke, and who has had aspiration pneumonia twice. I don't ever like to go into a hospital and to be put into their "sick care system" of endless prescription drugs and chronic illness diagnosis. Getting in and out of the car was terrifying because my back would want to lock up immediately. Doctor took xrays when I came in and identified my pain points immediately and how to correct them. Over the last 3 weeks I went from walking in pain to having more mobility in my back than I have ever had. I have seen tons of different chiropractors but no one has been able to fully remove the constant pain I have had in my back. Dr. Luke made our family feel welcomed, and comfortable being our first time seeing a new chiropractor. Experiencia fantástica: I was having some back pain for a few months, so I went in to see Dr. Luke based on reviews of nearby Chiropractors. He did an initial exam including X-rays and explained what my spine looked like, what a normal spine should look like and why that is causing my back pain. He then came up with a ~4 month treatment plan to help get my spine closer to what it should be, which I am about a month into. My back is feeling better, but I still have occasional pain when lifting heavy things - I'll post an update after the treatment plan.

I called and was able to make an appointment right away. It was my first time getting adjusted, but Dr. Luke took x-rays, explained everything well and helped me feel very comfortable with putting my neck back into place. I took his advice on neck care, it's been a month now, and my neck, shoulders, and back feel great! Also, my posture has improved. Experiencia positiva: Tim was great. I had my wife call around to different chiropractors because I had lower back pain and could barely walk. Not only did he see me but he stayed after hours to get me in. He did the X-rays and then the adjustment. I’m not going to say I walked out of there pain free, but it was enough to help me get through working that night. I went back a second time and again felt relief. The adjustments were quick but effective. I would definitely recommend it. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because he doesn’t accept insurance.
