She is focused on fixing the root cause of your issue and not just treating the symptoms with a brace or a boot. You’ll need to do the exercises and work outside of your visits but your reward will be a pain free body. Who knew weak glutes could cause knee pain or weak feet muscles impact your Achilles.

Every single time, PTs at Select Physical successfully put me back together into a stronger human being. I didn’t need any surgeries or shots. Experiencia fantástica: Tyler was a great PT. He helped me understand for the first three how to stand up straight And straighten my neck. His exercises were just the right amount of challenging so I could do them on my own without worrying about hurting myself. Helped me a lot —I wish I could've gone for longer, and I'll prob go back at some point if needed. They also seem to have good COVID protocols, symptom check-ins, including temperature, etc. Highly recommend.

They communicate with your doctor, they use multiple PT techniques, they challenge you but they are cautious to avoid pushing too far. I am athletic and I am recovering more quickly due to their outstanding service! 100% if I ever needed PT again, this is where I would go!!!

He and I worked out a sensible plan of exercises which I found to be extremely helpful. We have worked together, adding more exercises including stair work. Experiencia fantástica: They are amazing, I had back pain and doctor prescribed physical therapy and it was not easy to find the good ones , so I just gave it a shot and Nicole did magic, her hands, her instructions, her knowledge and her punctuality is amazing. I'm a picky person and could not even see any single thing and I truly love it . Also Emily the Aid was so kind and supportive. the only thing they can work on is the front desk to be more professional and on time in responding billing and other questions. Nicole kept following up otherwise I had to wait and also still waiting for the instruction and knowing if I can pay online or not. They can make it better and that's it . Go to this place and feel amazing and all are so supportive . Thank you Nicole and the team .

The knowledgeable staff was able to identify additional problem areas in my hips and knees that put me at risk for additional injury. The staff also keeps the exercises challenging and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Select PT for those looking to rehab and prevent further injury.

Experiencia fantástica: Select PT was recommended by a friend who was recovering from ACL surgery. I also had a knee issue (not ALC) but Tyler sorted me out in pretty short order. The staff here is exceedingly friendly and offer great support while pushing you through your limits to help you recover as fast as you can. The office is in a perfect location if you're downtown SF, especially in FiDi, so it was an easy walk to and from work. I would recommend Select PT to anyone, regardless of physical ailment. I saw folks in there for feet, ankles, back, shoulders, knees, elbows, hips, and more. They will sort you out.

The quality of my experience at this place is unexcelled in my experience. The vibe is welcoming, professional and friendly, the care is focused and personal, the staff - from front desk to treatment table - is responsive and efficient. This place is organized! What I am most impressed with is the attention paid to the entire body in support of the actual recovering area. The sense is that they seek to help the client to come out of therapy in better condition than before the damage was done. My posture is already better!

Experiencia fantástica: Nicole Reiss did a series of comprehensive movement tests to determine the source of my muscle tenderness/injury and then gave me exercises to relieve and strengthen the muscle and associated muscles involved. She was totally competent, answered all my questions, and was empathetic and good natured throughout. My appointment took place on time, and the entire staff was friendly and accommodating.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to physical therapy by my doctor for some chronic shoulder and knee pain I've been having. This was my first time going to a physical therapist and I was fairly skeptical about what it would actually do for me. I'll admit, most of it from ignorance of what their job actually entails. But wow, I was surprised. My body was surprised. My PT was Heather Armstrong, and she made a world of difference in my every day and every night life. The exercises and homework seem a little awkward at first, one of which made me feel like I was doing part of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" choreography, but that too, proved an important detail in my rehabilitation. And detail is everything when it comes to all the moving parts I can't see but she clearly can. She's great at explaining why you're having the type of pain you're having, why the recovery process feels the way it does, and breaking down your rehabilitation in very comfortable and concise sessions. And her assistants are just as skillful, patient, empathetic, and help you with the same disarming sense of humor and kindness. I almost feel bad that I'm feeling better so soon. Almost. But as soon as I don't I'm definitely coming back here and to Heather.

I’ve done physical therapy in the past but usually get injured or the staff really has no time to listen to what my specific difficulties would be. Not here! And exam throughly. The most impress thing is she explains in plain English what is going on with my body and how the PT helps the body. It all makes sense and it motives me. By fully understanding why I am doing and what I am doing is that biggest motivation for me to keeping doing. The PT itself is easy. Often easy things in life is the best. I feel her assistant is also very supportive by understand of Nicole's instruction.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a physician who refers out to physical therapy in the fidi area a lot and I was pleasantly surprised that my own experience with one of my own referrals was nothing short of stellar. I had patients report back positively about Select so I decided to check them out for my own needs. Nicole Reiss, their clinic director, and Stephanie Weaver, her care-assistant (and one day future DPT) were a great team to work with. Thoughtful of my prior history, and with a realistic approach for ongoing self care, I felt very lucky to have met them. Quality-of-care wise, they are comparable to major academic institutions where I have previously received care across multiple states, but with much more affordable rates especially for patients with higher cost-sharing insurance plans. Front desk staff Julian and Ian accommodating as always, and Julio who I worked with for two sessions, also really great. I hope this location is reflective of Select PT in general and I hope they continue to do good work. Thank you everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I've always had problems finding a good physical therapist in the past, as well as committing to PT on my end. I'm a young adult that has had shoulder (rotator cuff/bursitis/tendonitis), wrist, hand/finger, knee (ACL reconstruction), and ankle problems - sometimes all at once. I commute from east bay to this Select Physical to see Nicole - she is an amazing therapist that is very focused, thorough, and professional. She took my activities and interests into account, personalizing my exercises and tried to make them fun and challenging. She does not sugar coat, but at the same time it is clear she is focused on providing a constructive and productive session. The rest of the staff there seem pretty awesome as well :) If you're ready to work on your physical limitations/issues, I think this is a great place!

Experiencia fantástica: I saw Nicole and Sam to rehab my right knee after my meniscus surgery. They were both knowledgeable, caring and effective at getting me back to normal. Really appreciated the way they explained what was happening with my knee and what each exercise was trying to accomplish on my road to recovery. Experiencia fantástica: I've just completed 6 sessions of PT that my workers comp insurance company set up. I chose Select Physical Therapy because it was the closest place to me. I'm super glad I chose them. I felt respected, heard and the staff was familiar with my case. My direct doctor was Steven. He and his team were thorough, competent and fun to work with. They made sure to challenge me even when I was running my month and didn't notice the increase in color bands change. I noticed that staff sterilized the PT tabled after every person used it and that was a HUGE plus for me as I'm a semi-germaphobe. I highly recommend this PT location because I've suffered with right shoulder pain for 2.5yrs and after 6 visits and home exercises, my right shoulder is pain free. OMG, you don't know how much you use your primary hand/arm until it's it's injured. I look forward to little to no pain moving forward. Thanks so much Select Physical Therapy staff

I had surgery back in June on my shoulder. after a couple of appointments, My shoulder range motion has significant improved. The suction cups treatment, heat and cold therapy are very helpful.The trainers here knows what they are doing. when Tyler is on vacation, Samantha helped me to improve every time. They go extra miles to help patients to achieve their goals. I am very impressive what results after every appointment. If you never been to any PT, I recommended this place. Let them help you.

Experiencia fantástica: First time ever doing physical and i heard so many bad things mainly about receiving pain or unwanted pain well that may be true but from what ive experienced select physical therapy are very good to not push it or overdo it they have a excellent way of treatments, Heather is awesome and the entire staff are very very good i really mean that im impressed the way they all multitask every clients thats being treated its like clockwork the front end are so friendly and courteous and makes you feel comfortable and their greetings are awesome also the other physical therapists whom i see working with other patients are very very good by my observation again impressive, overall i would highly recommend Select Physical Therapy to anyone who wants to heal in a good environment im sure after my physical therapy is complete i will come back if i ever have any other type of injuries.
