I initially came for an issue with shin splints that weren’t getting better and on a separate occasion for arch pain. Dr. Nicole and Dr. Alexa worked with me to identify the root cause of my pain and strengthen my muscles to ensure that the issues wouldn’t occur again, and I finished PT feeling much stronger. The front desk is also extremely helpful and organized — it can be tough to get an appointment but they are efficient with their waitlist system. Their office staff and group of physical therapists are great, caring, and equipped to get you going after an injury. Received a pilon fracture to my right ankle in April and was hoping to find a PT clinic and team that would get me back on my feet as soon as possible. Not only did I get back on my feet in 7 weeks versus the standard 12 weeks, I also was able to complete the NYC marathon I had signed up for prior to my injury with a PR! After a deadlifting injury left me struggling with back pain, depression, and an inability to sit for more than 15 minutes, Dr. Nicole stepped in with empathy and expertise. We started with stretching and flexibility exercises, then gradually worked up to loading weights. Today, I'm back to deadlifting over 200 lbs and enjoying movie nights without pain, all thanks to her. I have been to a few in Seattle and one other in San Francisco and none of those came close. The exercises are customized to treat the underlying cause of your condition and to match whatever sports or activities you do. Everything is very personal and the staff always listen and are really engaged in working with patients and explaining what they are doing and why. If I say something isn't working, we experiment and modify. I just love working with Renew. The therapists and therapy are excellent. I tried elsewhere and Renew is top notch for general physical therapies and also highly specialized services. They also will not try to set you up with someone who isn't highly skilled for your medical need. If you are working towards a deductible, regular sessions seem to be around $90 each.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had an incredible experience at Renew PT. I came in for a lower back disc injury from 2020 that was still bothering me over a year and a half later. At my worst, I could barely sit for ten minutes without being in horrible pain--it made things like traveling and socializing nearly impossible, and made my day-to-day barely tolerable. Even from my first session, I could start to feel a decrease in my pain. Nicole's program was well-paced, challenging, and safe. A lot of my training involved the on-site Pilates reformer machine. It's been the perfect tool to help me transition my strength training out of PT and into reformer Pilates classes around the city. Nicole was also incredibly patient with me, even when I'd come in discouraged or frustrated in the middle of a flare-up. She was unwavering in her confidence that I was going to continue improving, which helped me feel confident that I could regain full mobility and live a normal life again. By the end of my time with her, I was no longer afraid to flex my back or touch my toes--a movement I had been avoiding for almost 2 years! This was my third try at physical therapy. I'm so grateful to have found Nicole and the Renew PT team (also shoutout to Lizzy and Marissa at the front desk who were always delightful to work with). I feel like they gave me my life back, and I would refer anyone here in a heartbeat.

Experiencia fantástica: I can't stress enough how incredible my experience here at Renew PT has been. Over the last 6 months, I have been working with Nicole Sabes to regain mobility in my right wrist. After having a wrist arthroscopy done on my wrist last year, my right wrist remained extremely stiff. As a dental student pursuing a career working with my hands, I was devastated that even the surgery done showed no hope in healing my wrist. Doing daily activities such as tennis, basketball, volleyball or household chores felt extremely frustrating seeing that I was limited from participating in the things that I once enjoyed doing! It felt like my social life had a huge dampener placed on it permanently. Starting off 3x a week, I worked with Nicole on strengthening muscles in my shoulder, back, and arms to take off stress from my wrist while also throwing in various wrist stretching exercises. Talking to Nicole each day was not only refreshing, but also enlightening in that I really felt like I understood the healing process. All I had to do was show up. Simple enough, right? The wrist is a complex and intricate area to work on, but Nicole demonstrated phenomenal comprehension and mastery of how to work the muscles around the joint. Not only was she competent, but each exercise circuit she made was unique and filled with lots of fun! Huge shoutout to the amazing team Andrea and Mark, you can really tell that they go 110% for their patients. Having such an uplifting environment makes a world of difference in feeling encouraged and motivated when working towards the path of recovery. It was actually bittersweet seeing that I was getting better because it meant I would be seeing Nicole and the team less and less. Working down to 2x a week and then 1x a week, my wrist regained full mobility with minimal stiffness which will gradually stretch out throughout the next year. Most importantly, no pain. As of this week, I have officially graduated from Renew PT! I've resumed all sports and outdoor activities and I practically forget I was ever injured when I go through my daily routines at 100%! Absolutely blows my mind. Thank you so much Renew PT. You are amazing.

I've done PT for a knee injury at 4-5 different places through the years and this one was the best I've ever been to. The receptionists are really helpful and patient, and the PTs are skilled and thorough. Mark makes videos for all of the exercises that need to be done so you have proper form at home and he and Viki would always go the extra mile to investigate my concerns. Couldn't recommend more!

If you have ever damaged your Achilles, then you know that the road to recovery is slow; Mark turned all of that around for me. Mark at Renew was hands-down the best physical therapist I worked with (out of 3!) and he did more for me in 4 months than both my old ones in Charlotte combined. Experiencia fantástica: I have an active life, I like hiking and doing different type of workouts (I love swimming, I swam for 12 years as a kid). Sadly, I am not the same as before and with work, bad postures and habits have been creating injuries in my body, which have caused pain and made me stop performing certain exercises of movements. I had an pain in my right hip, it bothered me doing squats, seating, walking, etc. Renew was recommended by some of my coworkers and I decided to start doing physical therapy in order to lower my pain and be able to keep doing what I love. Everyone on the team are excellent professionals ! Nicole was incredible ! She is an expert and we setup goals, narrow doing the causes and how to get better. She explained me clearly how to do the different exercises, we checked the correct postures, etc. Now I am able to do long hikes, squats, deadlifts and different types of exercises.

Going in with a torn labrum in both my shoulder and hip made me lack confidence in my recovery because I had to treat one while worrying about the other. This was not the case at all. Nicole’s approach was core based and focused on full body coordination. Nicole was an incredible PT to work with and learn from, and the entire team was very accommodating of my needs and schedule. I was given tools to both heal the injury that sent me to PT in the first place AND treat any future reoccurring injuries to the same spot in the future. A true case of “teaching someone how to fish” rather than the alternative.

I was pretty convinced that I would need to get some kind of surgery done but Nicole worked miracles on my arm, corrected my posture and designed a program to ensure I was completely rehabilitated. They have been amazing with helping me recover and start to build strength in my arms and shoulders. Megan has been really helping me strengthen and alleviate the occasional sharp pain with cupping while stretching out the muscles.

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend Renew! I've been going to Mark twice a week to rehab from pretty extensive knee surgery and I can't say enough good things about the experience. Mark took the time to throughly review my reports and connect with my surgeon to help build my specific protocol. I love all the tools and equipment at Renew and Mark has incorporated some things such as a massage gun and ice-roller to our sessions which have helped a ton. In just under 4 weeks I've gone from non-weight bearing with crutches to doing squats, lunges and unassisted walking! In addition to the great care, the booking process is easy and they've done a lot in the ways of safety protocols for Covid (temperature checks, limited patients, questionnaires, etc).

After I was diagnosed with a tear in my elbow (and lateral epicondylitis), I started my PT sessions with Nicole Sabes, she is the most professional PT that I worked with (and I had several injuries in my life). Nicole was very knowledgeable about my injury and knew exactly what was the right treatment for me. She was also really patient, gave me "homework" exercises, and worked not just directly on my elbow, but also worked on the positioning of related muscle groups that can have an impact on the elbow. I honestly thought that I could never go back to train as I used before, but, I got back to CrossFit training. thanks to Nicole I must mention that all the staff there in renew are great, from Mark Bautista that treated me several times (he's the master of Movements and Mobilities), to the front desk with Andrea Gann

The results of my treatments were fabulous, even two of my doctors commented to me that my recoveries were exceptional for a 70+ year old. My most recent PT was for a knee replacement, Nichole was the best.

They are following COVID guidelines to the letter (I'm high risk so this is very important to me). Ok back to the PT part- My PT, Mark, is legit. He is incredibly knowledgable. He's awesome at not only explaining how to do my exercises but also the "why" behind them. I think this detail has really been instrumental in the progress I've made. I was a varsity athlete through college so I've worked with many trainers and PTs, and he's the best I've come across. If you want to get back action, Renew PT is the place to go.

Nicole was patient and explained things in a very comprehensive manner that I felt very confident about her professionalism, as well as my situation and the treatment. I have fully recovered from my sprained ankle now, but the overall care has been so great that I decide to continue working with Nicole to strengthen my joints, especially because I injured my knees in the past a few times.

Experiencia fantástica: I have loved my experience with Renew PT. I was referred to them by a colleague after I had ACL surgery 4.5 months ago. I have been seeing Nicole on a weekly basis ever since. Not only did they allow me (as a post-op patient) to come in, even during this Covid chaos, but the care has been exceptional and they accept Blue Cross insurance, which is evidently rare. In terms of my ACL recovery, my surgeon says I am ahead of the curve. I owe a lot of that to Nicole's watchful eye on form and her deep knowledge of how the body works. She knows which muscle is weak by how I walk or jog and knows how to build a strength training plan to correct my issues. She takes the time to explain everything to me and goes the extra mile to ensure my success. I think the whole team is exceptional and I am grateful for my experience! In response to the Covid pandemic, they have been very careful about in-person sessions and launched zoom-centered PT sessions. I highly suggest everyone go here. They're just great.

My primary doctor at One Medical referred me to them for Sciatic pain I had from an earlier back injury that was creating pain down my leg. From the first interaction with their office staff to make the initial appointment (Andrea) it was clear that there was great communication and professionalism. They submitted my claim (Blue Cross/Anthem) and I received authorization for 6 visits. By the end of the second session, I was already feeling better and much of the pain had subsided in my leg. I highly recommend Mark Bautista as a skilled practitioner as he asked a ton of questions, set up a series of exercises, stretches and a strengthening program for me to follow. Experiencia fantástica: After tearing my ACL in September 2019, I did both pre-surgery and post-op therapy with Renew Physical Therapy. It was challenging once the pandemic hit but I was able to do Telehealth meetings with Nicole which were effective. After the office reopened, I went for in person sessions with Nicole who understood my level of activity and goals and was able to keep my therapy challenging and manageable. I left therapy feeling strong and ready to get back to my normal activities. Later in 2020, I was struggling with back pain and Nicole also helped me figure out the underlying issue and how to fix and prevent it going forward. She took the time to teach me about the different muscles and ligaments involved and really focused on getting my form correct to prevent future injuries. My back pain is gone and I've been able to manage and use what I learned at therapy to prevent going forward. All that to say, if I ever need to go back again for therapy I will definitely be seeing Nicole and the team again! Andrea and the other receptionists are very helpful and friendly.
