Fantastic experience: The lady working the front desk was very accommodating and very nice she helped me do my registration while I was on crutches 1day post op. Dante my physical therapist was nice and precise, and really listened to me. Both individuals were very caring and friendly, made my first visit a great experience. im glad I chose KOC university for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Dr Lindsey Smith is awesome made me feel like I was seeing an old friend very comfortable but yet very helpful and told me things I need to do and things that I don't need to do yet to help me in the long run she's the best the office staff is super nice also very good place highly recommended

Positive experience: In the physical therapy room with multiple people present, VRI only worked when the speaker was very close to the iPad. Persistent static interfered with audio quality and interpretation. These technical limitations prevented effective communication as required by the ADA. Accessibility was approximately 75%. An in-person interpreter would have provided full access

Fantastic experience: What else can I say about Grace that I’m sure 1000 other people have already said. Professional? Check! Knowledgeable? Check! Helpful, understanding, compassionate? Check check check!!! Basically the way it works around at KOC is…you have a surgery you aren’t very thrilled about then the next day you get figuratively “touched by an angel” with Grace as your PT. If that’s not the best turn around to a situation…then I’m sorry but you need to go get PT from Grace and glance upon perfection!

Fantastic experience: My experience @ UT/KOC PT comes after a difficult time with another PT. @ UT, I was treated expertly, within the surgeons requirements. My surgery recovery was not a "no pain, no gain" recovery. This PT (Rachel) understood that premise & followed through expertly. She was very gentle with tissue damage wich resulted @the former PT office. Tissues rested & are recovering nicely.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very professional, very knowledgeable personable, yet professional enough generally seemed to care about anyone's situation that was in the room. I was fitted for a custom splint, which was amazing and giving contact information in case I needed further assistance. Even though I'm going to Therapy, in dandrudge at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, I did get my splint at koc therapy, which the guy I saw was amazing, actually, the girl who does my therapy Savannah in Jefferson Memorial Hospital, trained the guy that I saw at KOC therapy. Great staff great attitude great experience

Fantastic experience: I really like the service you receive with this group. This is my second knee replacement I have had done with this ortho group. My first knee replacement with them in December was truly miraculous! I went for the MAKO total knee replacement in December last year and could not have asked for a better experience!! My recovery time was very rapid. The pain was about an 8 in the incision only for the first couple of days when I moved the joint but the more I moved the better it got. I quit taking the pain pills after 5 days because I didn’t need them routinely anymore but I did continue to take them an hour before therapy for the next 4 weeks. After 6 weeks I was doing great. I had no problem with extension and had 129 degrees flexion which was much more than I had before the surgery. I am now post op 5 months and feel great! I will be having my right knee replaced in June this year with the same group! I cannot say enough positive things about Dr McCollum and the staff. The surgery center is really nice and I felt very comfortable and confident having my surgery there. I am 70 years old and it is very nice NOT to be treated like you are invisible. Older folks will understand what I mean when I say that. The staff of KOC are kind and attentive and treat you with respect I appreciate that! They have no problem answering your questions and they have never acted like I was wasting their time with my questions. They took excellent care of me and my husband and we are very thankful for them.

Fantastic experience: The staff is knowledgeable and understands personal needs, when to stop, and when to push a little bit more for the patient's to return to function. I do a lot of Google reviews. This one is asking me to add photos, I don't take photos in a personal space like the physical therapy center, but I can provide a photo of some of my exercise devices I do at home (that's where your gains are mostly made) from my full rotator cuff, biceps tendonesis repair surgery 8 weeks ago. Pictured are the pulley exercise which is active assisted range of motion, and the finger ladder which is also active assist and can be used as active range of motion.

Fantastic experience: As a septuagenarian, I find myself much more fragile than I used to be. There’s no more hopping up, dusting myself off, and going about my way. It is therefore unpropitious indeed that, though less headstrong, I am still quite clumsy. Ergo, physical therapy is often on my docket. The treatment that I have received at OrthoTennessee has been quite excellent and is ongoing. So, if I don’t learn how to deal better with the privations imposed by my deteriorating physical state, I’m sure to be a repeat customer. I am pleased and surprised, however, that to date no one has given me a gift certificate for the untoward consequences of my next blunder. Hope, it seems, does spring eternal!

Fantastic experience: My daughter Hannah Green was in a horrible car accident in Ga in April 2024 . We lived in Tn was in Jacksonville FL for over 2 months with her in the hospital waiting to recover enough to make the trip home. We found one of the best therapy teams we could ever ask for. Ms Lindsey Smith DPT and Tracy Longhurst PTA have went above and beyond to help my daughter recovery the greatest possible in her condition. We are getting close to moving forward to strengthing more to try to start learning to walk again and we're excited and feel comfort in knowing they will be by her side making sure that is possible! Thank you sooo much for the excellent care you are giving her. Your 2 of the BEST!! We've been so blessed in finding some of the best care a girl can have.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Ortho Tennessee. I had Knee replacement surgery at Ortho Tennessee in August 2024. All the staff was professional, friendly and helpful throughout my experience. Thank you Ortho Tennessee staff for making my surgery and recovery a success.

Negative experience: Ortho Tennessee has the worst administration of any medical organization I have ever utilized. They do not answer their phones except to set appointments. They do not return phone calls. No one is available to answer billing questions. This has been the norm based on my experience using them for three different services. I received bills for services that were not provided. I recommend that you find another service provider if you want to avoid frustration.

Fantastic experience: I had a pre-surgical visit with ortho tennessee therapy for my knee replacement surgery. They explained everything thoroughly, in a friendly & professional manner. It was a productive visit!

Fantastic experience: Dr McDowell and his staff have been so helpful in preparing me for my upcoming total knee replacement. Dr McDowell discussed the plan in detail with me after I made the decision to schedule it. He and his PA answered any questions that I asked during the months before I decided I wanted to proceed with surgery. Lindsey, the physical therapist, walked me through the plan for therapy after surgery and any thing that I could do prior to my surgery. I feel well prepared thanks to all their excellent teamwork.

Fantastic experience: With the benefit of the therapist’s expertise I am making steady progress since my surgery. Therapy is challenging but staying within my capabilities. The knowledge and insight of the therapist is very reassuring. I’m confident of their ability to keep me moving forward in my recovery. The exercises I was taught to do at home keep my progress consistent.

Fantastic experience: Lindsey realized very quickly that my left leg had a loss of power and that it was affecting my right leg. She went easy on me for my first visit, (with the exception of the rolling pin), which I didn't mind because I could feel my toes on my left foot after the first session. I'm looking forward to working with Lindsey throughout the duration of my physical therapy.
