The chiropractor, Dr. Nathan Leavitt took the time to thoroughly access my concern and explained everything that would be done to personalize my treatment plan. I never felt rushed and Dr. Leavitt answered all my questions I had so I would understand the treatment I would get. After a couple of sessions, I already felt improvement in my areas of pain, mobility, and overall comfort. Fantastic experience: If your in pain and need relief, I highly recommend West Knoxville Medical and Chiropractic. My results have been amazing. Came in with back and neck issues. After 8 weeks I'm seeing great results and pain is gone. Also decided to get Stem Cell injections in my knees. After 4 weeks pain is subsiding. Staff from top to support are all professional and friendly. I highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: I went into this office with severe pain and left in more pain. No suggestions on how to get any relief. They took x-rays and did not review them, then put me on stim pads and called it a day. Asked me to make another appointment. I went in du to the pain and they made it worse. Highly not recommended.

Fantastic experience: I went in to see them after I tweaked my back a few months ago. It really hurt a little bit all the time and sometimes it was extremely painful. I stopped having constant pain after the first couple of visits and by the end of my treatment I stopped having any pain at all. Before I tweaked my back I always had some lower back pain and this is honestly the best my back has felt in years. Thank you, I would fully recommend them, five stars!!

Negative experience: Went for a second opinion in a lot of pain. Paid $98 for my vitals to be taken and asked twice for more money. Sat in my car and cried after. Silver lining- the headache distracted from my shoulder.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been dealing with back pain for well over a year. I’ve never tried chiropractics before and have always been a little apprehensive about it. I finally decided it was a better option to try first before getting an MRI and/or medication. I was referred to this office by another friend. Dr. Leavitt was very professional and answered all my concerns. He talked me through each step and made the whole process easy and comfortable. The pre-evaluation process in checking out range of motion, x-rays, etc, was very thorough. I was offered several different options for treatment so I could decide what worked best for me from a comfort, and financial, standpoint. After just a handful of visits my back already feels 90% better and continues to improve each session. I would definitely recommend Dr. Leavitt to others.

Fantastic experience: I reached out to West Knoxville Medical & Chiropractic due to back & neck pain that had gotten to be really bothersome on a daily basis. I was experiencing daily headaches despite being on migraine meds. After a thorough reading by Dr Leavitt of my X-rays it was clear why these things were happening. Dr Leavitt & Wes Smiddy, NP devised a physical therapy regimen to target and help restore the areas in need. Chiropractic adjustments are the best & have proven to be something that I should have started YEARS ago. As the name indicates, it is more than just a Chiropractor. 3 additional services I have used are Physical Therapy, PRP and Trigger point injections. They also off nutritional services which I have not take advantage of yet.The staff is very friendly and do their job well. I am on a 1st name basis with them and I have noticed that I am not the only one. The office is very clean and welcoming. This is not my 1st Chiropractor, but I plan on making it may last. If you feel you need some type of Chiropractic services, I highly suggest you come visit their office. Also look into the other services offered.

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service and treatment. Opted for stem cell therapy to treat shoulder issues I have had for over 18 years, and for the first time in that 18 years my shoulder doesn't constantly hurt. I would do it again in a heartbeat and I am hoping to treat other areas in the future. Everyone starts out skeptical, but I personally have experienced a great deal of improvement in my whole body. The stem cells, adjustments, and physical therapy are making me feel better than I have in a solid decade.

Fantastic experience: I was involved in a car accident and was referred to Dr. Leavitt and his team! I’ve always heard people say some chiropractors are spotty. This establishment is NOT that! The staff are very polite and get involved with you more than just popping in and and out of there. Dr. Leavitt, his son (Bryce), Wes, and Darby explain everything to where you can understand even if you don’t have any knowledge about chiropractic work. They do not work on a lawyer lien basis, so don’t feel like they’re milking your treatment just for a check. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Knoxville area that needs chiropractic help!

Negative experience: One size fits all method, for their three month program. Not individualized. There isn’t a mid-program review to see if anything needs to be changed or if there is improvement. The adjustments are quick and rushed. The chiropractor isn’t involved in your care or even aware of what’s going on. He does your very quick adjustment an moves you on. Not worth the money. New X-rays are not taken to check if there has been improvements. The money is what they care about here. Not your well being.

I came in with a bunch of neck problems that were causing me discomfort and not allowing me to sleep well, and they did a great evaluation of my needs and concerns and came up with an action plan. At the end of our series of visits, my neck pain had been reduced to almost nothing and I'm able to get a full night sleep again.

Fantastic experience: West Knoxville Medical and Chiropractic has been excellent in providing me with the care I need. Everyone is extremely professional but also knows how to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your time there. They have been helping me not only with the trigger point issue I went in with but also discovered a spinal issue in my neck that I was unaware of and have been helping me with that as well. It’s hard to think that physical therapy, trigger point and plasma injections, along with chiropractic can be enjoyable activities but they make it easy and fun. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is experiencing any muscle or joint issues.

Everyone is kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. I have a very hectic schedule so I appreciate being able to get an adjustment quickly. Dr. Leavitt varies my treatment according to what I tell him is ailing me. I was experiencing what I THOUGHT was neuropathy in my foot. I mentioned the unpleasant sensation and the doc adjusted my foot. The pain has resolved! I visit weekly for maintenance- my job tends to keep me out of alignment. Fantastic experience: When I first came to West Knoxville Medical & Chiropractic I had very little mobility and a great deal of pain in my lower back. I had been struggling with it for years and had tried everything but spinal surgery at that point. I couldn’t get comfortable in any position and it was really starting to affect my quality of life. The team did a thorough evaluation and suggested a stem cell injection in my lower back. I’m now ~3 weeks post-procedure and feel amazing. Before I couldn’t reach past my knees bending over and now my fingertips can touch the floor. I’m sleeping better and am able to enjoy my hobbies without a bunch of pain wrecking my day. Fantastic experience: I made an appointment for allergy testing due to ongoing inflammation I’ve been having for years. The test showed not only the outdoor trees, weeds and indoor dust mites I’m allergic too, as well as, the foods. I immediately stopped eating daily almonds, almond creamer, and milk, but tomatoes! I’ve noticed a small decrease inflammatory areas on my body, decreased morning aches, and better mood every day! I enjoyed speaking and working with Nicole! She was very knowledgeable on all accounts. Alexia in the front office was personable and helpful, which, is what I critique in every office setting! She was a great of fresh air! Fantastic experience: Dr. Nathan and his team are amazing specialists! I am doing adjustments and physical therapy at their clinic, and feel the difference right away after every treatment. What I love about their practice is holistic methods they use: all natural, based on my body needs. They really care to make you feel better, look and feel younger and healthier. I feel improvement on all spectrum of my health: no pain, my neck looks longer and moves without any discomfort, my back is so much more flexible. I’m amazed by the results after just two weeks of treatments. I don’t need painkillers, my energy level is up and I want to move more, because I feel much lighter. I also bring my daughter (6yo) for adjustments to Dr. Nathan. Every time when she is having ear infection or complaining about discomfort. Fantastic experience: It's hard to describe a business that is so passionate, caring, knowledgeable, understanding and outstanding. If I had to choose one word it would "family." I have been going to Dr. Leavitt's now for about 3 years. I had a problem with my lower back that didn't allow me to unbend or walk upright. I needed to get this fixed and find a solution that was affordable and reasonable. I knew Chiropractic would help but I was 1900 miles from my Chiropractor. My previous Chiropractor was someone who study the Gostead method and was a Palmar Graduate. I called him, but he didn't know of any one in the area who fit both those criteria. So I headed out on a journey to find a Chiropractor who was understanding, affordable, knowledgeable and could help me walk again. After many phone calls and many not so good, I found Dr. Leavitt's office. He was a Palmer Graduate that had a similar set of skills as my previous Chiropractor. His office staff had a similar vibe as my last one: kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and just fun to be around. It made the whole medical process less stressful. Through his help and guidence I'm happy to say my lower back is not only better, but stronger. He truly is a wonderful doctor and has a staff that is very friendly. As I mentioned before they are like a family. Even though my maintenance is on a monthly basis now, everytime I walk it always feels the same. No matter who is at the front, I always feel welcomed, comfortable and cared for.

Fantastic experience: I have degenerative spinal disease and have been fighting pain and debilitating headaches. I had tried both a Chiropractor and Physical Therapy in the past which helped some. Now that I have found this practice that combines both along with PRP, my results are so much better! My headaches and severe pain are gone and I'm only two and a half weeks into an intensive two month therapy! My condition was so bad I was not working or able to driving, and had difficulty with just doing simple things. Now I'm working part time, driving and able to function like fairly normal.
