Neck pain finally drove me to seek help since my rheumatologist just assured me it was arthritis & nothing really to do, but take meds. I needed the pain to stop so I came to Gilbert Physical Medicine & have been so happy. Doctor listened & has been taking a more gentle, but effective approach. Negative experience: DON’T waste your time and money!! I haven’t received any “services” in over a year and then I’m sent a bill that looks like it could have been typed out by 12 year old. No letter head, no reason or clarification as to A YEAR after “services” on this “bill”. They come off as nice in the beginning but then book appointment after appointment. I didn’t get any relief after driving, in pain, one hour round-trip and spending thousands of dollars on co-pay’s and my insurance getting billed over and over again. After NO improvement I began physical therapy, and within a month, I was better! Plus, I only had to drive two minutes from my home. They wasted my time (driving, using unnecessary gadgets while I waited for appointments) with no relief.

Negative experience: I have been going to GFM since 2000. Every month from 2000-2022, so 22 years. Every time I left the office, I always had a time and date for my next appointment. So July 2022,I get a text that they haven’t seen me in a while, I text back that I’m waiting for my appointment text, I know it’s coming up. They tell me that I don’t have an appointment but I could come in today if I want. So I went in, I was instructed to wait in a small back office ( never happened in 22 years) in walks the office manager Nicole. Tells me they can no longer take my BC/BS for $ 20.00 copay, but instead tells me they can continue to see me for $50.00 a visit. Sounded shady then and still sounds shady. So we set up a time to speak on the phone,,, bla, bla I’ve been in court and dealing with lawyers all summer ,, bla, bla, bla I still to this day still don’t understand what their problem was. But I figured I’d share that. Since I have retired I haven’t needed a chiropractor but I’m sure I can find another, but nothing special about this office. Robert L

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Gilbert Physical Medicine. I first brought my daughter here after she was in a bad car accident. She had debilitating migraines amongst other aches in her back. There was instant relief her first visit. I decided to start seeing them for my back problems. In doing so, I was getting help for my IBS. Not only did they do their usual therapies, but I was asked if I would like to get into a program with Dr. Casady to help with my IBS. I can say after just following simple changes in my eating habits, water intake, and taking a few recommended supplements I've seen more of a difference in a few short months then I have in over a decade of chasing what was wrong with me and going to specialist after specialist just to be told I need another diagnostic scan or I needed a surgery and we will go from there. I also didn't mention they take some insurance plans as well. That was something I really liked seeing as most chiropractors do not.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I was unable to have satisfactory appt with Dr. Casady because I walked into Gilbert Physical Medicine displaying its politics in the receptionist area. This is beyond disappointing as well as bad business practice. The arrogance and the boldness to allow the staff to sit behind a political sign is appalling! When I asked them about it, they shrug their shoulders and said the owners were responsible. When I addressed my concerns with Dr. Casady, his weak rebuttal was about we wearing my Black Lives Matter (BLM) wrist bands. So have you always been bother by BLM wrist bands under your care? The difference between me and you Dr. Casady is I'm a patron and you're the business owner. To risk the potential of losing customers over your selfish choice is insane. When people show you who they are believe them. On that note, I will not be returning to Gilbert Physical Medicine.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic chiropractic care. I started going to them last year after a car accident. It took a while for me to get better and they were great and suggested various things to help accelerate my recovery. I have social anxiety and I've gone to multiple other chiropractors and they are by far my favorite. Though I don't like getting injections, trigger point injections have helped me a lot in a couple instances. They are 45 min away from me but I don't mind traveling to be seen by them. Dr. Wasserman is fantastic and I always feel better after getting adjusted by her but everyone is welcoming and friendly from the ladies up front, Gaby and Charlotte, to the assistants in treatment. They're flexible with scheduling which I'm very thankful for. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dean Steuart at Gilbert is a recent addition to the already amazing team at Gilbert Physical Medicine. In just three visits, he has already become my all-time favorite chiropractor! I could not be more impressed, and now I have my family members under his care as well. I am beyond grateful for Dr. Steuart's dedication to his profession and enthusiasm! For the veterans, this office works with VA insurance (TriWest). All veterans have to do is get a referral from their VA doctor, and adjustments are covered. Just to be clear, VA TriWest covers chiropractic adjustments, not TriCare. Once again, Dr. Dean Steuart, is the best!

Fantastic experience: The staff are all wonderful! They actually care about you. I am in my 60s and have spinal stenosis in the low back and neck. I was at the point of having to walk with my cane most of the time. After the 3rd or 4th visit I have only used it when we are doing extended walking at certain events. Even then it is for just in case. All of the chiropractors have been awesome. They actually read your chart to know they know what you need. They care about your financial situation too. I highly recommend these folks for any age.

Fantastic experience: This is probably the best physical therapy in all of Az they are very welcoming. My wife had a problem with her back and they showed us everything that is causing her pain. Not only do they help their patients they pay attention to our needs as parents and had toys for our son to play with while getting a consultation. Fantastic experience: The appointment time I needed was available. I arrived on day 1 and was pleasantly surprised with one on one diagnosis. The xrays were seamless. The adjustment put me on an immediate path towards health. The back roller felt great to relax on. I was so tight and exhausted when I came in, however that night I slept 12 hours! Negative experience: Update August 2023: Happy ending!!! If you are curious please read my original post below. They refunded reasonable amount!!! Good to see some response :-) Update on 05/23: No response to my review or the phone request my wife made few months back. Original review: My read on this location: "I want money", if you ask for refund I am going to snub you. I would say it was an unprofessional and unethical response from the front desk. The front desk in my opinion is the face of any business, but I want to give the benefit of doubt to this place. I would give -1 star if there was an option. My wife purchased a spinal decompression package of 10 sessions for $450, they gave her 2 more sessions as an introductory offer. It is simple math, $45 per session for 10 or $37.5 per session with the offer. My wife took one or two sessions, but it didn't help. She then went to an orthopedic surgeon, based on the MRI the orthopedic doctor did not see any reason for taking decompression sessions. She then called the front desk, here is what they told her: As per the person who spoke to get the cost of one spinal decompression session is $116, so they will deduct $232 from $450 paid for 10 or 12 sessions. Yeh, and that was not a friendly conversation. By the way I should also mention that none of the treatments they offered helped my wife which included adjustment, and trigger point injections. I hope there is someone at the front desk who thinks shouting and snubbing is the way to go, and not the whole facility supports that kind of behavior and hope it is not only about money.

Fantastic experience: This place is wonderful, I had been going to physical therapy for weeks and my shoulder pain was not 100% gone. After a few sessions at Gilbert Physical Medicine I noticed vast improvement. Now that the pain is gone, I continue to come for maintenance so the pain does not come back.

Fantastic experience: This office is amazing. I brought my (then) 4 year old daughter to see Dr. Wassermann for continence issues after 2 years of medical interventions via her pediatrician and PCH specialists. We changed her diet, tried supplements, medications and finally her specialists started discussing surgical interventions. We had lost all hope. I went down a rabbit hole one night and someone recommended chiropractic. I didn't see how it would help but figured it couldn't hurt at this point and made her an appointment. Holy cow! What a difference!!! She went twice a week and after a month, we were already seeing huge progress and within 6 months, everything was cleared up! A year later and she now only goes twice a month, but we see differences in her eczema, she doesn't get sick as easily nor for as long and none of the bowel/bladder issues have come back! She LOVES Dr. Wassermann who has always been so gentle and understanding. (She calls her appt days "Dr. Wassermann day".)The other providers and MAs in the office are patient and always friendly. My husband was always against doctors in general, but when he saw what they were able to do for our daughter, he started going too for his neck and tingling down his arm. Since he started seeing Dr. Mark, his headaches, shoulder pain, and neck pain have all gone away and he's sleeping so much better! He balked at the special pillow Dr. Mark gave him at first, but after waking up the next morning without neck pain - he doesn't go anywhere without it. We're considering bringing our other kids as part of their general preventative medicine and making it a family affair, haha! I'm a believer now that just because it isn't a stereotypical "crack your bones" ailment, doesn't mean Chiro can't help get it sorted.

Fantastic experience: I first visited Gilbert Physical Medicine in July. I injured my knees while climbing Mt. Whitney this summer and was desperate for some help. I had been planing on walking the Camino de Santiago across Spain in September and October and was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do it. They recommended a treatment for my knees (PRP Therapy) that would take a month to complete, which was exactly the amount of time I had before leaving for Spain. I completed treatment in August (the entire staff was great to work with!) and headed for Spain in September, not knowing how I would do. I’m happy to report that I was able to walk every step of the way without any knee pain! Thank you Gilbert Physical Medicine!

Fantastic experience: In April 2019 I was in such pain from back issues I was walking with cane for some relief.Searched online and found GPM .Called and promptly got an appointment with Dr. Wasserman.She took x-rays and outlined a program of treatments and injections to hips and lower back.Started with 3 treatments weekly along with injections, then 2 treatments weekly and finally once weekly. I am now doing once a month to keep everything right. The entire staff is warm and very friendly, and Curt Casady,DC. is my go to guy. I trust him and everyone there to keep me functioning well. Almost a year since I started the program and couldn't be happier.I highly recommend GFM.Would give 10 stars if it was available!!!

Fantastic experience: I needed to come in for pain management due to a herniated disc. I was having terrible sciatica pain which prevented me from getting up our or bed myself and walking. Everyone here is friendly and caring. I’ve had three sessions in and I feel 50% better. I can walk better and get out of bed myself now. Hopefully with the continued sessions, my sciatica will be under control and healed up.

Fantastic experience: Went in to see the doctor since I’ve been having some hip and lower back pain. I saw Dr. Wasserman and she was incredibly patient answering all my questions. We took X-rays and while I was waiting I had an allergy test done which was so incredibly informative. I’ve been eating foods that I am allergic to and have been feeling awful. I’m so glad I did the allergy test so I know what foods to stay away from. I came back a couple days later to go over my X-rays. During my follow up we went over all the areas that will need therapy. This place is incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Positive experience: When I signed up for the prp and stem cell therapy I was told and signed up for umbilical cord stem cells. I paid a lot of money for the injections. I was told 2 umbilical cord stem cell injections and three PRP injections would give me 50-70% relief from bone on bone in my knee. Well what I received was one stem cell injection from my own blood and three PRP injections from my own blood. And no reprieve from the pain. It's been over six months now and the pain has just gotten worse. The clinic sends me notices and asks how I am doing. I tell them that the pain is worse and I did not receive what I was told I would receive. The pamphlet they gave me even says umbilical cord stem cell injections. They have sent me two messages asking how I am and I reply the same thing each time. I'm in more pain now than ever. They have yet to reach out to me with any response. I am very disappointed that I paid a lot of money I really could not afford and was promised by the man who signed me up of at least 50% less pain with the injections. And that I did not receive the two umbilical cord injections but one of my own blood cells that I have been told by another orthopedic where not the correct blood cells for stem cell therapy. Based on the color of the liquid in the syringe. The staff there was great. I'm just disappointed that I signed up for one thing and received another. Especially when I paid a lot of money I really couldn't afford but was hopeful with what the guy had told me.

Then they execute that plan by a well trained staff that is always pleasant and very helpful. I especially appreciate how they’re not like how other chiropractors who try to upsell you and take your money by having you going to appointments forever. They really are concerned with your well-being and I’ll definitely be going here for a long time whether it’s for a quick fix, or a more longer adjustment plan. They are both amazing!! Yvonne does her PENS magic on my back afterwards, or Jess. I have also seen Jen Stern who gave me my shots in my back. The girls at the front desk, Gaby and Janelle and office manager, Cole, are also amazing. Dr. Wasserman is an extremely caring woman. You can't go wrong with anyone there.
