Experiencia fantástica: Fox Therapy is truly remarkable. After ACL surgery, I began vetting potential therapists. Fox happened to by within close proximity so I gave it a shot. I was greeted by Lorena at the front desk with a huge smile, a warm welcome, and a reassurance that I was in good hands. I also met the owner, who was extremely hospitable. I was paired up with Jessica, my physical therapist. In a nut shell, she is the epitome of what I would come to hope for in the ideal PT. Very very knowledgeable, doesn't tell you what you want to hear, but rather the truth. She knows how to push you physically without compromising moral. She builds confidence and that is priceless. It's hard to hold your head up when you've gone from surfer to gimp. More than anything, Lorena and Jessica both treat clients like family, making recommendations that clearly represent my best interests..., not those of Fox Therapy, and not the orthopedic surgeons...but mine. The circumference of quadricep was 32cm (injured leg) vs 41cm (right leg) when we started. I couldn't walk up a flight of stairs. Her calculated and methodical approach to recovery, brought my injured leg to 39 cm's in less than 8 weeks. I emphasize, Fox Therapy cares!!!

During this time, I made sure to tell Rigo that my goal was to achieve a certain performance level. Within 6 months of going to our sessions I was able to achieve my goals and learn valuable lessons to continue improving. Dr. Martinez, will always listen to you and will accommodate your path to success based on your personal goals and your current situation. There is no one size fits all solution, all workouts are tailored to you. Regardless of your situation, I would recommend going to see Dr. Martinez and the entire Fox team. Experiencia fantástica: I would identify myself as a picky person who generally dosen't give 5 stars but the team at Fox is amazing & absolutely deserve it. Jess helped me with a back (spasming + sharp pain) injury that I had been suffering from with for 1 year and 4 PT's literally across the globe had worked on it as I was traveling & couldn't fix. For this injury I had been to some real fancy PT clinics in the past trying to get my back better but they couldn't do a job half as good. I had literally given up on my back & thought that I would never be able to lift again until Jess started working on it. She is literally a godsend !!! Both Jess & Lori (front desk) are amazing & so is Gabe (Personal Trainer) & the other trainers at the gym. Great homely environment & brings a smile to my face every time I am there.

She was fantastic and helped me greatly with my knee pain. After a few sessions, my knee pain was gone. She did not push me beyond my limits and listened to me throughout the process - giving me just enough exercise and finding what worked as I re-strengthened. I highly recommend this PT. Experiencia fantástica: After tearing my left shoulder I was very reluctant to go see a doctor, thinking that I will heal naturally and get back in shape. After 3 weeks of feeble progresses I decided to try Fox Physical Therapy and the frontdesk staff was very helpful in securing an appointment. It was almost magical. After 2 weeks of working with Dr Rodrigo Martinez I could see how fast I was healing and my progresses. He works out himself which surely help him to better understand the body and its mechanisms. I've healed superfact, and on top of that I understood the posture issues that created the problem and the accident. He showed me the imbalances in my body and how to correct them and avoid these problems in the future. Basically I went in with a bad shoulder, and I came out with a stronger shoulder, and a better posture that will help me avoid future problems. I highly recommend him. I was very reluctant and I see now what I was missing. Don't hesitate, he will help you to get to a better version of yourself. Invaluable.

Knees are much better that I can squat and run without any problems and just started with my shoulder, however, the mobility improve in just a few sessions. Last October, I presented myself to Jessica on crutches with a full ACL tear plus a partial meniscus tear and on top of it all a blood clot from the right knee injury. You can tell a person’s talent and true passion for her work when you see how well she managed such a challenging case! She got me walking in about a month. She was patient and kind and understanding when I had PT fatigue a few months into the treatment. She adjusted the treatment when I decided not to have surgery. Taught me so much about my body and how to stay strong, made my legs super strong and 10 months later at my “graduation” I find myself in the best shape of my life. Going to the Fox Therapy Brickell location became something I looked forward to each time. Lorena at the front desk is fantastic at making sure the schedule works and the administrative stuff with the insurance is all taken care of. At the end it felt I was among friends. This has been an incredibly positive experience for me and I cannot recommend highly enough Dr. Day. Thank you so much for all you did for me, Jessica!

Throughout the treatment I learned many exercises and the correct posture, which I’m applying on my regular workout. I recommend FOX Therapy and Dr. Day.

Experiencia fantástica: I began therapy for a hip issue about 5 months ago. The need for this therapy just wrapped up after the prescribed number of sessions. I want to give kudos / compliments to my PT, Rigo (Dr. Rodrigo Martinez). His care and concern for my pain, and getting me back to better health, was very sincere! Additionally, his way of approaching his work included adding in some fun / humor whenever possible, which was great! I would also like to thank Lorena "Lore". She is the manager / CSR at the front desk! She is such an upbeat, happy and positive person! Additionally, from time to time, I would also see / speak to the other PT on staff, Jess'... A very nice person, as well! The Downtown-Brickell office is the place to go! You'll be cared for, enjoy the experience, and leave (after healing up) very happy!

I needed to find a new PT after moving to Miami to complete rehab for my ACL surgery, I chose Fox Physical Therapy since it was an easy walk in Brickell and had appointments open after I got out of work. Dr. Day was super welcoming and really helped me establish a solid rehab routine, all while making physical therapy fun. Each one of our sessions was a continuous improvement from the last, and I learned a lot about balancing my workouts to target different muscle groups in my legs. Dr. Day helped me gain confidence in myself and motivated me to work out independently outside of our appointments more than I did with my old PTs. After ~3 months of 1-2 appointments a week I made the transition back to being an active athlete and returning to sport!!

However, we were proved wrong, and in fact he improved. Dr. Day was extremely professional every step of the way, explaining the exercises and what she aimed to achieve. We have to say, that after a few sessions we saw improvements. Dr. Day dedication to her patients and her attention to detail is reassuring when you are dealing with somebody who is suffering some kind of pain. What put them on a different level was that they continually adapted and updated the treatment to my evolution and need. They pivoted as needed and made a whole approach, including acupuncture if they thought it convenient, as many other practices and tools applied. The entire team was amiable, and a pleasure to see them in every session.

Experiencia fantástica: I tore my left ACL about two years ago and had to go through 9 months of therapy. For those not familiar with ACL Injuries, your physical therapy is probably the most important thing for your recovery. I was blessed to get an amazing PT that helped me recover to my previous physical level. My PT was insanely good. About two months ago, I tore my right ACL and had to go through the process again and find a PT in Miami this time. I tried 3 different therapists post surgery and was very frustrated. For some reason, I could not find a therapist that knew what they were doing or was as good as my old one in Orlando. This changed when I walked into Fox Physical Therapy. My PT Jessica, goes above and beyond. She's easily one of the best PT's I've ever had. It's hard to compare PT's but Jessica is absolutely amazing. She's strict in all the right ways, she's caring and has amazing bed side manner, and she actually cares about you. She even goes above and beyond by creating a personal connection with you. I was worried I wouldn't find a PT as good as my old one, but Jessica is destroying that worry. I love going to PT and my knee is getting so much better in such a short period of time. The front desk is also awesome. Love Fox PT and Love Jessica!!

Rodrigo helped me out with 2 knee injuries (meniscus) over the course of about 3 months and though I hope to never have to return ;) I would go back to him in a heartbeat with any other injury. He was very detailed, thoughtful, and overall great support during my recovery. He always seemed to push me just the right amount to continually make progress but still rest when it made sense. With my insurance, visits were about $60 each, twice a week, hour long sessions that brought me back to health and life! Worth every penny.

My surgeon was very impressed by my recovery. Although he wasn’t the one who referred me to Jess, he started referring his new patients to her. Jessica from the start built a custom recovery schedule for my injury. She explained how and which each of the muscles affected the injury and recovery. Her massage therapy is excellent as well. She is also a UM alum, Go Canes!
