Experiencia fantástica: I am a previous and current client at Steppin" Up PT. There is not one bad thing that I can say about them. I recently hurt my upper back and neck and when my ortho doc told me to get PT, I said when can I start? And I didn't even think twice about who I was going to. In fact after I left the ortho, I called them right away and they were able to get me the next day. Jen is the upfront staff at this location and there couldn't be a better face you see when you walk in to your appointments. She is the best and I love her! While I was there my 3 pt's that assisted in my recovery were: Nick, Lauren and Emily. Three of my FAVORTIES!! I love that when I go here I multiple people are working on me. They all have something special of their own to give and I really appreciate it! While Lauren didn't get to work with me but a few times this time, I believe she is the heart of the Auburn Rd. location. Emily and Nick were my primary pt's and the both of them are just the best! Emily worked with me during my pt after my knee replacement. Again, she is one of my very favorites to work with. I also wanted to mention Chase, he is a tech going to school while working there and I have to say he is the kindest person I have met in a long time. I'm proud of him and wish him the best in the future. I'm happy that I've been released, but sad that I will not be seeing my people weekly.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Steppin' Up therapy for dull pain in my hip. This wasn't a major issue, but I was starting to not be able to do everything I wanted to do without pain. I was greeted warmly by Bree at the front desk. She scheduled all my appointments with just 2 therapists. I saw Nick PT and Isabel PTA. They were both great is helping me find exercises I could do to stretch and strengthen the muscles around my hip. They talked with me about my hip, but also my life and family. They were both so friendly and caring. I went from pain about 75% of the time to just some ache with certain movements in 5 weeks. I feel like I have a good set of exercises that should help me continue to get stronger and more active. I'm 47 years young. Update: Three years later, I continue to do the exercises when my hip starts to ache and it goes away. I stay active walking and going to the gym.

They really helped me through my therapy and made sure I had all the tools and equipment to succeed after my visits were completed. I will continue to work at home but I know that I can always return if I need to. Thanks again Hannah and Maddie!!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff! From the front desk to the physical therapists. The only downfall is scheduling with them is a bit tough because they are so busy. So if you have a strict work schedule, it’ll be a little hard to get the times you need.

Experiencia fantástica: great place and people at the Auburn Rd location. Emily and Lauren were my therapists and were great. I learned a lot in each session. They also wrote up exercises for me to do at home. I had balance issues and problems falling 2 or 3 times a day. They saw why and helped me correct my issues. They always gave me funny sayings that made it easier for me when I did my exercises at home. I will have knee replacement soon and will hope to have them do my therapy afterwards. Just got home from 7 weeks in hospital and insurance only covered inhouse therapy. When they drop that, I will go back for out of house therapy with my insurance company,

Experiencia fantástica: My right arm had very little motion with quite a bit of pain because of my rotater cuff. Lauren was able to help me get to almost full mobility with no pain. The exercises and light weight work. Rotater cuff surgery will not be needed thanks to Lauren and the rest of the physical therapists.

Experiencia fantástica: I started 2 weeks before knee replacement surgery with the goal of strengthening and limbering up my leg. The surgery went great. My first session back was better than I was expecting. Lauren assessed my leg's condition while closely watching my pain level. It was an encouraging session and the take-home exercises were just the right ones with the right amount of exercise. I also realized how much Abbi did for me before the surgery in getting ready. I know that it made a difference. The sessions have continued and the staff expertise shows through the challenges with understanding the difficulties. Steppin' Up Physical Therapy is always our choice of therapy businesses. :)

Since that time have received Physical Therapy at four clinics in the Fort Wayne area and none compare to Step’N Up. I had a wonderful experience at the Auburn Road location, where everyone from the front desk to the therapy room was helpful, professional, and friendly. My doctor referred me to Steppin Up for advanced osteoarthritis in my spine (cartilage damage). I started therapy last July, in a lot of pain, and finished on October 30th. At first, I was skeptical about the results, but sooner than I expected, I began feeling much better. Now I continue doing the exercises at home. Thank you, Steppin Up.

I came to Steppin’ Up Physical Therapy after struggling with sciatica-like symptoms for four months and having minimal relief from chiropractic care. Within just two weeks of working with Lorah and Katelyn, I could finally stand without that sharp, shooting pain down my left leg. After six weeks, I was jogging again and back to my normal activities--something I wasn’t sure would be possible anytime soon. The entire office is clean, welcoming, and professional. The front desk staff greeted me by name every visit, and you can tell everyone there genuinely enjoys what they do. The atmosphere is upbeat, supportive, and personable. Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend ‘Steppin Up’ Physical Therapy. I needed PT due to a medication induced brain injury. My doctor ordered the PT and I was evaluated the first of October. I followed my wonderful therapist, Emily Ludwig’s, directions, and the at-home program she created for me. I adhered to it daily for 30 days. I was reevaluated a month later. In just one month, I feel like I am getting back to my old self after 20 months of suffering. I am so glad I was able to get the help I needed to make these strides. Thank you, Emily and Ashley Smith, for helping me get back on the road to healing. P.S. If your doctor orders PT, I hope you will choose your health and work their programs. It really makes a difference in so many ways.

Experiencia fantástica: Isabelle Nguyen is an absolute asset to this location! She was so personable, professional, very insightful, and did a great job of educating. Most importantly, she listened to what I was saying and customized my experience for the best results. It’s a fairly modern practice with self scheduling text notifications and quick online bill pay from text links. But they’ve regressed in customer relations. I feel like it’s a big step for some people to graduate. Small token of celebration is always nice. I was sad not to get my T-shirt but maybe something more practical? A lacrosse ball or a can koozie.

They are both knowledgeable, very friendly, helpful, and use various techniques (including the Graston Technique that is particularly beneficial for my condition). After my sessions, the muscle gets less tight and I feel better too. I’ll continue going there and highly recommend Stepping Up for PT services.

They have a way of making you feel like they are your committed team and are respectful and mindful of the allotted time for PT without abruptly ending conversations or rushing my therapy. Experiencia fantástica: This place is incredible. I was in extreme sciatica back pain. My mobility was very limited and extremely painful. The girls given the task to help me get on track were Emily, Lauren, and Laurens student assistant Emily. All three of these therapist's knew what to do. I was in therapy for about a month and I am actually more flexible than I used to be thanks to these girls dedication and their instructions. I was willing to do anything to get through this and they put me to work. The other therapists there seem to know their stuff too. If you come here and can get on Laurens or Emily's schedule, you will be thoroughly pleased, I guarantee it.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the third time, in 15 months, that I have needed the services of Steppin-Up Physical Therapy. I saw Steppin-Up’s TV commercials and I really want to try them. My first experience was for a total right shoulder replacement, my second for my back and now my third for a left total shoulder replacement. The left total shoulder replacement was my 13th orthopedic surgery, with that being said, I have been to many different physical therapy offices since 2004. Out of all the different physical therapy practices I have been to; I can honestly say that Steppin-Up is absolutely the BEST of BEST. You walk into their office as a patient, but you leave with new friends who honestly care about your health and well-being. I have never met a more friendly, caring and personal staff than they have at Steppin-Up. The entire staff from Jennifer and Bri at check-in and the PT techs that iced my shoulder after my workout were amazing One very important thing to me that they do is that their therapist stays with you the entire session. They do not start another patient, or have 2 or more patients going at once, it is truly one on one care personalized for just you. Another great thing about Steppin- Up is that they like to keep you to two therapists. They really get to know you that way and can see your progress. In my three different therapy sessions at Steppin-Up, my therapists were Ashley Smith, Craig Van Der Maden and Maddie McClellan. I cannot say enough good about how well I was treated by all three. They genuinely care about your health and progress. They give you the tools to help you at home too. My range of motion on both my shoulders is amazing. Even the other therapists in the practice get to know your name. Jennifer Gearhart and Breana Ervin in the front office are so friendly and were so nice to call if an early appointment were to open up. They explained all the paperwork so thoroughly, which a lot of was able to complete online. Again, I cannot say enough about how well pleased I am with Steppin-Up. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs physical therapy. The best experience ever and I not consider Steppin-Up my family.

She did a great job doing all the exercises at a speed that I was comfortable with. She was able to make all my vertigo symptoms go away and gave me amazing exercises to help retrain my eye/ motor skills. Definitely recommend for anyone suffering from vertigo.

Everyone there, including the front desk, treat you so kindly. The front desk knew who I was after my first appt. You walk in and they make you feel welcome. Lauren was able to figure out the problems and explain everything to me. But you have to stick with it and keep doing what they tell you. It took a few months to get rid of years of tight muscles and back pain. I haven't had this much range of motion in a long time.

Although I still have a ways to go, I can now climb stairs again. I accumulated notes on these exercises in a notebook, and can continue knee strengthening at home. Thank you so much Emily!

I had a pretty invasive shoulder surgery that had me overwhelmed with pain, as well as major limitation in movement which had me worried about the recovery process. Experiencia fantástica: I had been experiencing excruciating knee pain and had gone the normal route of seeing an orthopedic specialist (I really respect the practice so will not pan them here) and had gotten no answers though the procedures they tried helped reach my deductible sooner than expected. But the ortho doc recommended Steppin Up. On the FIRST VISIT Ashley pinpointed the cause of my severe pain, created a plan to address it, and started me on path of great pain relief. I have always had great respect for physical therapists, but Steppin Up is way above normal. Ashley and Abby are amazing, and even the crew at the front desk are very friendly and efficient. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Steppin Up for your physical therapy. Trust me, I’ve been to just all Fort Wayne PT providers, and Steppin Up is SUPERIOR in every way!

Experiencia fantástica: The best decision I made during my recovery from foot surgery, was doing physical therapy at Steppin’ Up. Katelyn and Nick were phenomenal and the key to my recovery! I split most of my time between them as I went from being in a walking boot, to eventually able to jump (and jog). Knock on wood, I never have to have foot surgery again, but if I did, I’d definitely trust Steppin’ Up with my recovery again.

Experiencia fantástica: After a total knee replacement on May 17, 2024, I had Madison and Emily as my therapists. They were so great in so many ways. Emily saw me in the beginning at my absolute worst but between Maddie and Emily, by the time my therapy was over, I was skipping, running (slowly) and doing much of what I could do before therapy. In fact, we went on vacation the day after my graduation appointment (9 weeks post op) and I was able to do a 10 station zip line in northern Michigan. I also logged many walking miles (uphill, downhill & flat) and hundreds of steps. Without Steppin Up and my awesome therapists, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Experiencia fantástica: I've used Steppin' Up for two different issues. The back problem was addressed at the Stellhorn/Lahmeyer Rd location. I was given a full work over. It took several visits. Couldn't have asked for better help. The second thing was a shoulder/nerve elbow/nerve issue. I went to Auburn Rd for this. Professional. Great thorough evaluation. She fixed me up! These facilities pass my "better be clean" test. Plus the staff is so friendly and easy to talk with. Take it from me, if you have a problem and need therapy, go to Steppin'Up.

Emily, Madison and Hanna my therapist I have are very helpful to getting back to walking and squatting after my knee replacement. I am so thankful I went to Step n up Physical Therapy. He paid attention to how I was doing things and he was very friendly, and I felt very comfortable with his therapy. He was considerate with my pain, but also pushed me to my limits. My results were just what I wanted. They were excellent thank you, Nick Skinner. I would refer you to all my friends if they needed therapy. Now to mention the front desk. When I enter the office and they say hello to me, I feel that I'm important to them. They are friendly and take care of me efficiently. When I leave the office, they have a smile in their face, and I have a smile in my face and I know everything is OK actually, the whole staff is fantastic
