My therapist, Mari Biers, was represented as being an excellent resource to address my particular needs. I have found this to be true, as she utilizes not only conventional methods, but creates unique approaches and exercises tailored for my progress. She is very methodical and considers the patient’s input regarding the benefits received and how the previous workout impacted him between appointments. She is focused on achieving favorable outcomes, coaching and urging for optimum effort, all the while able to make it interesting and enjoyable. I have not only gained great benefit from her therapies, but I have also gained a friend.

They are very knowledgeable. If your therapist is out there is always someone just as qualified to help you in their absence. I wouldn't go any other place.

Experiencia fantástica: I will first, share of my pain because it has become such a big part of my life, I don't know where it ends and I begin. I have spent over 4 years with pain that started after 2 major falls I have tried to find someone for help but just kept being told I had arthritis and it's just a part of growing old. As my pain increased I sought several sources for help but none offered anything I wasn't already doing. Every day, I was pushing through pain and slowly but surely watching my quality of my life disappearing. I was even diagnosed with Parkinson's because of several signs pointing towards it even though those signs and symptoms are basically the same as having damaged my spinal cord. I decided to try a business called PEAK, sport and spine for a consult after hearing wonderful things about their work. Thanks be to God, I did because it was more than I had hoped for. My first visit with Maury brought a light at the end of my tunnel and we came up with a care plan and right away I knew things were going in the right direction. Thank you Maury and staff !!!!

Experiencia fantástica: It’s 2025 - Here I am back here again this time with a new right knee. Brandon is my therapist this time. He is great to work with but it hurts at the time and I might growl a little but it bending a bit more now. He backs off when it’s too much but hasn’t give up. Tries something new. People here are great from the front desk to check in and everyone makes sure you’re doing okay. A nice place to come and learn to move again.

My insurance Anthem pulled out of coverage so I could not continue. Since they were looking for a specific of another problem and I saw the neurology physical therapist the pulled coverage on her the first day. The staff at Peak is professional, courteous and supportive.

Experiencia fantástica: When my treatment was completed, I was given a front/back sheet with the exercises I'd done. I have 3 such sheets. I continue to age as does my anatomy. When the discomfort arises and my brain is reminded, the "cure" is in the drawer, EVERY time I pull out the sheets and do the exercises again, the pain goes away. EVERY single time. I continue to be impressed.

Experiencia positiva: The physical therapists at Peak Sport and Spine are knowledgeable, kind, and pleasant to work with, and the exercises themselves were helpful. However, sessions are often shared between two or sometimes three patients at once. I was usually given exercises and then left to complete them independently while the therapist worked with others. Since I was seeking physical therapy for hands-on guidance and form correction, I was hoping for more one-on-one, individualized care. Overall, it’s a good fit for those comfortable with a more independent approach, but it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for.

Experiencia fantástica: If you need physical therapy due to an injury or surgery, this is the clinic to go to. Therapists are well trained, very professional and in my experience of using these therapists for problems with my knees, ankle, neck and shoulders, I have had good results. The staff personnel at the front desk are always polite and make you feel welcome and do their best to accommodate your schedule. Do not hesitate to use this excellent clinic in Columbia on Berrywood Drive.

After breaking my wrist, I was worried I’d never get back to my normal level of function, but Karlee made each step feel achievable. Experiencia fantástica: Rebecca Shetley is my thearpist and does an amazing job. With only going a handful of times, she has me feeling so much better. I had issues with my neck and also sciatica - lower back, right leg; these are much better. Not only have the stretching and exercises greatly helped, Rebecca prints out instructions with photos, sending with me so that I can continue to do these exercises at home. Previously I tried to work through the pain and fix it myself; this is so much better. I will continue to go for additional sessions - my quality of life has definitely improved. I recommend Rebecca at Peak Sport and Spine for anyone who needs physical therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: Todd helped me to meet my goals of building strength, decreasing knee pain 2 years post-knee scope, and maintaining an active lifestyle. I continue to do the exercises he taught me several days a week, along with biking, walking, and hiking. The swelling in my knee is gone and pain has pretty much been eliminated. I have been amazed at how much better I feel having strengthened my quads, hips and glutes, and increasing my range of motion. I am grateful for a healthy balance of cardio, weights, stretching, and learning not to over-do it.

She was a great listener and took the time to understand what was going on with my left knee. Kearsta developed a personalized plan that really helped reduce the pain. We originally planned for six weeks of therapy, but I was feeling so much better that we wrapped up in just five. Highly recommend her to anyone needing physical therapy!

Experiencia fantástica: I scheduled PT just to get a note showing that neuropathy pain was preventing mobility and exercise. The results are way better than I could have imagined. I've gained balance and mobility that I haven't had for more than 5 years. The Therapist is very good at recognizing when I've reached limits and when I need to be pushed a little more.

Experiencia fantástica: Peak Sport & Spine has been tremendous for my rehabs. I have had shoulder pain, tendonitiesis and recently lower back pain (anterolisthesis?). All three of these conditions were resolved to my satisfaction in a short period of time. The staff is knowledgeable and very easy to work with. They are kind and consider carefully any specific needs you have. 10 out if 10!

Experiencia negativa: Out of the three physical therapist I’ve had this was by far the worst one. Didn’t seem to care. Talked with coworkers more than me in session. Wrote stuff in my medical records that I didn’t even say and it still cost me a too much for what I’m getting. So I went to Mizzou and it was easily 5 times better.
