Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming here for over 15 years. After going through different chiropractors, I landed on this one for care for myself and family. I first started my treatment for injuries from a car wreck. I had pain in both of my hips and back which made it difficult to work as I taught dance. Dr Mike was able to help me recover fairly quickly and get me back doing what I love. Later I had a shoulder injury; I had been going to PT for quite a while with some healing but still had quite a bit of pain and limited mobility. Dr Mike with chiropractic care along side another Dr he referred in his office started a different technique that got me back to normal. I can now move my arm like I used to with no pain! My then 9 year old daughter was suffering from back pain for about a year, I had taken her to her primary care doctor first for treatment, and she was referred to Physical Therapy, which she continued for almost a year with no progression. Her pain made it difficult for her to do simple tasks, like picking up her bike off the ground. I had to purchase her a rolling backpack for school as she could not carry one due to her pain. I started her with Dr Mike and after 3 weeks of treatment she was beginning to act like a normal kid! I picked her up from school one afternoon and she was swinging her backpack around. I was shocked. I hadn’t seen her pick up anything heavy for over a year. She’s been doing great ever since and continues her chiropractic treatment. What I appreciate most is the different methods they offer and they listen to you and work with you to figure out the best one. Their facility also offers massage treatments. I highly recommend Renaissance.

Experiencia negativa: 0/10. I do not recommend coming here. The office manager is incredibly rude and unprofessional. They do not verify insurance prior to your visit so be cautious of getting an unexpected bill in the mail. Then when you call in to talk with the office manager to discuss the issue, you get hung up on. Front desk staff if great and friendly though.

Don’t work on myself and my wife Regina Tillman very family and oriented. Make you feel welcome and take good care of you when you come in. Great customer service.

Experiencia fantástica: When you can dislocate a rib just from sleeping, you've reached a whole new level of broken. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and quality chiropractic care is essential to living a full, pain-free life. I have been to at least 13 different chiropractors before finding Renaissance and ending my search for good almost 2 years ago. I'm so thankful for the team at Renaissance Chiropractic for being able to fit me on a Monday within 90 mins of me calling. I walked in unable to breathe and walked out taking deep breaths of the crisp, fall air. No matter what Dr you see, they will untwist you and get you straightened right at.

Experiencia negativa: 1st of all I would like to start off with that this place is a run of the mill money grabber. I have been coming here for years and have gotten worse. I have had no explanation as to why. In addition when I ran of my insurance visits I was quoted a fee of $100, my coworker ran out of her visits and she was quoted a fee of $65, another coworker here pays $50 per adjustment. So this is why I am leaving. I feel this place really doesn't care about my back or neck pain and simply are cashing in with insurance and whatever they think I can afford. Which j actually can't afford 100 per visit. Also I wish I was communicated with about how many visits I have left to use. If I and known perhaps even 5 visits before I maxed my insurance out I think I would have tried to spread those out before end of year. There were a few times where I had an adjustment and a few days later it seemed like I was worse so I would go in and say something and they would adjust me again and then I would be ok for a few weeks. Anyhow I have been going for quite a few years and have gotten worse and have been offered no solutions other then to lay on towel for my neck pain. But back nothing. Anyhow extremely disappointing place. Remember to keep track of your insurance as they will not do that even if you asked in past for them too. Just sharing my experience.

For well over a year after an accident, I came for regular adjustments with Dr Doug, who always listened to where I was on my healing journey, adjusted treatments as needed, and gave both insightful and encouraging feedback. He also employed the use of decompression and laser therapies, both conveniently offered on site at Renaissance, in conjunction with my adjustments. Additionally, Dr Doug is well respected and connected in the community, expertly referring me to other specialists as needed, to round out my care. From the team at the front desk to the doctors they have on staff, I was met with friendly professionalism every step of the way at Renaissance Chiropractic. I was initially referred by a family member, and without hesitation have since recommended them to others as well!

Experiencia fantástica: Highly attentive and caring staff. The initial appointment was 1.5 hours with an adjustment, so plan ahead. They're thougrough in hearing you out, looking for any additional issues, and take care of you the whole way through. The office is comfortable and welcoming.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful facility with plenty of safe, easy parking. Dr. Michael Long, Chiro Techs and Stephanie (LMT) are great. Front desk folks seem to always be in a great mood, smiling and happy to help. (This is an often overlooked aspect of many offices. It really makes a difference!). I've referred several friends, and will continue to do so.

Experiencia fantástica: I am 55 and going through menopause, and I have been to 4 different MD's over the last year and a half or so from having migraines. Every MD I saw said they were hormone related to menopause . I have always gotten chiropractic care since being a teenager. The migraines were debilitating and I was missing work and family functions, and general life. Dr Doug along with Dr Dena started changing my adjustments in my neck going higher up and while I was feeling relief, the head aches would always come back. Dr Doug started doing cranial adjustments every other day for a little over a week and I am thrilled to say that I have not had a Migraine in 30 days..... literal miracle worker!!! Saw Dr Rodger today and he removed my sciatica pain. He is amazing !!

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I have gone to Renaissance for a very long time. I don’t go as much as I should but when I do it’s because something flared up pretty bad. For example I injured my neck to the point of my arm being stuck, one visit and 20 minutes later it moved normally again. Just a couple days ago my upper back flared with a massive lump, and the first thing Doug said was it’s probably a rib and I couldn’t believe he knew that just from a lump from the upper back because my rib was killing me. 24 hours later I don’t feel any pain, and moving better than before the pain. I understand no one’s perfect but every time I see Dr. Doug, or Dr Mike my problem is always fixed, usually in one visit which is crazy. Strongly recommend, and their pregnancy work is also fantastic, my wife really got out of some bad pains due to Dr. Mike. Thanks!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Dr. Mike, since 2010. Was in a car accident and on the job injury. He has been a blessing to me and several of my family members as well. My back pain level was over 10 & with seeing him twice a month to keep me mobile, I highly recommend trying the decompression table. It was recommended by my neurologist to undergo extensive back infusion surgery and I had no peace to have this done. Dr. Mike has given me a new lease on mobility with the pain level at a 2 from 14. The front desk ladies are very friendly, and helpful, I appreciate Dr. Omar & Dr. Rodgers’s too. Highly recommend this awesome place. Renaissance Chiropractic care is the best place to receive quality & professional care for me and my family members!! Experiencia fantástica: I see Dr Mike on schedule every 4-6 weeks and he keeps my back in line. He helped me with some shoulder exercises a while back that really helped with some chronic pain. I thought I would possibly need surgery, but the exercises I did at home for a couple of months fixed the problem.

My 7 year old son was complaining of headaches, neck pain and anxiety. He felt very overwhelmed in school and even at home. After a consultation and education from the doctors at Renaissance, we began to get him adjusted. The difference his teachers and I see in him is amazing. So I went to the long clinic in Tacoma, where they got me to Kevin he gave me a massage after he interviewed me , and it was like he new exactly what and where everything I said was . Experiencia fantástica: This place is hands down amazing! I started taking my disable son here because he kept grinding his teeth and had a constant drooling. He is 26 years old so when we went out in the community people really don’t like seeing people drooling or hear them grinding their teeth. Now I will be taking him once a month. But WOW! I am so glad to incorporated his adjustments along with physical and Occupational therapy! Honestly tho.. I really believe his total baseline for his improvement is him getting adjustments. For disable people to maybe get a relief… why not just try. That’s what I thought and this has been a game changer! He no longer drools..

The Doctors are very thorough with the treatment they structure for you individually. It’s not a one way fits all type of Office. Your treatment is built for you as an individual. I was recommended to it by a friend. I’m a hard cookie when it comes to what I like and I would recommend it.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been treating with Chiropractors for more than three decades and have never been to a chiropractor who so thoroughly evaluated my symptoms and looked at all of the issues prior to treatment. Dr. Tyler was amazing! Following my first visit after his thorough examination and his subsequent adjustment I had my first afternoon free of pain and the first night of restful sleep in longer than I can remember. The pain between my shoulders (thoracic) minimized from an excruciating level 10 constant pain to a tolerable 2 to 3 level of soreness with very little stiffness. My neck has mobility again and the level 10 vice-like pain that has been chronic and preventing sleep has been downgraded to a mild soreness at a 2 to 3 level. Thank you so much! I have never had my pain level reduced this much with any treatments or therapies or surgeries I have had. I am grateful!

Each adjustment realigned my body bit by bit and even addressed a couple of chronic issues along the way. They even gave me support wedges for my home exercises. Experiencia positiva: I have been coming to see Dr. Mike for almost 15 years & he is amazing! I have never had any issues with this office until this year. When I would come in before, IF the DR's were running behind schedule, the front desk staff communicated that with you as soon as you checked in. I have been in several times this year where I am not seen until 20 minutes after my appointment time and no one bothered to communicate that during check in. As a patient, I'd prefer to know if my appointment is running behind for whatever reason. I have worked in offices for years and each patient had a note section where it stated how often they were to come in and what they needed etc. Each time I call to schedule or if I schedule at the front desk, I have to say how many times I am supposed to come in, which DR's I am supposed to see etc. With the old front desk staff, this was never an issue. The old front desk staff was very friendly and personable and greeted every single patient that came in the door. This new staff is not that way at all. The quality of customer service from this establishment has gone downhill and if it weren't for my long time chiropractic care with Dr. Mike, I'd seek care elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Original review around January 2023 A receptionist called to confirm the appointment time and told me it was an hour later than the appointment time my husband was told on the phone and texted. I had to argue with her for 5 minutes before she refreshed her page and let us know it was, in fact, at the time I had said so we would've missed it completely if I had listened to her. Not only that, but all of the information about the cost and everything for me for some reason didn't apply to my husband when I'm on his plan. Horrible service. Edited as of 3/29/2023 We have continued as their customers and have since started bringing our 3 month old in too. We had received a phone call from Dr. Mike to make amends and they have provided amazing service since and are taking great care of our 3 month old. They are super gentle with her and make sure she is comfortable. They ask questions and note the answers and then explain. We greatly appreciate the effort they put forth to make things right.

Dr. Mike Long was and continues to be my Dr. there at the center. He has always been attentive to my specific needs, is very family/people friendly and without me even saying the trouble spots on each visit, he knows them finds them and treats them. The staff, front counter, and all support specialists get to know each patient on a first name basis, makes a welcoming world of difference upon each and every visit. I'd recommend them highly.

He’s the only chiropractor that we trust with our babies and also during pregnancy. We almost never need to go to the pediatrician or even doctor because most of our concerns get resolved with 1-2 chiro visits. Highly recommend it it’s worth every penny. Experiencia fantástica: My pain level was at 8 where it was painful to be sitting and laying down. I went on a treatment plan and I started to experience the pain level decreasing pretty rapidly. After 3 weeks of treatment, my pain level is at 2-3 which feels like a miracle. I recommend getting an atlas adjustment! It’s been life changing and the quality of life went up significantly. I’ve always struggled with falling asleep since I was a child and didn’t know that it could be something that’s treated. Since I got my atlas adjusted, I fall asleep as soon as I get into bed and wake up feeling so refreshed and relaxed the next morning. I went into chiropractic care to take care of back pain issues and I’m getting results beyond expected. I have more energy in a day and have better mental clarity. I appreciate how the office is efficient and rarely there’s a wait time in the waiting room. Quick in and out. I’ve received chiropractic care in the past and Renaissance surpasses in the quality care that they bring! 100% recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is really top notch. All the front desk staff are amazing, the massages are great, and Dr. Mike is alleviating pain that 5 months of PT couldn’t fix. They have also been super accommodating with my fluctuating work schedule too and don’t make me feel bad at all when I need to reschedule- which is great considering I need to go twice a week and it can be tough to get away from meetings during the day. Highly recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife had seen 2 other chiropractors before finding Dr. Doug Long. Her health issues started back in 2013 with back as well as other health issues. Dr. Doug Long started with an analysis we hadn't seen others do and over a period of an year my wife has improved so much following the plan he developed for her. She now just does monthly adjustments with the occasional as needed adjustments. We have recommended Dr Long to all our friends which many have gone and are as impressed as we are.

Experiencia negativa: Not a fan of the front desk individuals. They Changed my appt times then I get told I can't make weekly massage appointments because insurance offers more money than cash pay I guess. Either way I went elsewhere. Sad because the docs are great. You need new office staff that know how to look people in the eye when they speak and that know how to be effective communicators. Its ok to own up to your mistakes but kever ok to pretend it didn't happen or make the customer feel like they were the one in the wrong. No thanks. Be wary. Unless you have the insurance and no choice you might want to try somewhere else.

After my car accident , I was experiencing constant burning throbbing pain on my shoulder and neck. It was so intensive that interroped my sleep, compromised my dsily activities, and and i barely could lift my arm up. I was feeling exausted and discouraged until my son referred me to see Dr Mike (Chiropractic @ Renascense.) Dr Mike, Dr Tyler, Dr Longo, (to mention a few) coordinate the care for the best intereste of the patients. The staff @ front desk are amazing friendly and caring. Experiencia fantástica: This office is full the the most carrying staff. Not only to their job great they go above and beyond. Today I did not have the ability to carry my 1.5yr old and get out of my car and they helped me in and helped get my kiddo get settled and helped me back out to my car. This is not the first time they have been so caring just one of the biggest that will forever be held in my heart. This office has heart and the desire to care for you on a deep level and that’s irreplaceable. Family run and they care for you like family.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been seeing Dr Mike for three years, after being in an awful car accident. He was the first Dr that really helped me find doctors that would be able to help treat me and get back to “normal”. He listens to what pains or aches you are having and helps. I ended up having a spinal fusion in May of 2020 and another spinal surgery in December of 2020, while I recovered from that, he adjusted the other areas of my body that were still all screwed up. Eventually I got back to a place where he could help adjust my back. I go at least once a month because what he does helps. Chronic pain sucks, but when you find something that helps, you keep going. And I’m very thankful for Dr Mike and his team. 100% recommend this place.

I thought I was going to have more surgery on both my hands, but since returning to Renaissance Chiropractic after 2 years, I am almost pain free and possibly I can avoid surgery. Experiencia negativa: I have two insurances, both are pretty good, and every time I went to a chiropractor before I had $10 copay per visit. And all those times I was notified of the out of pocket expenses BEFORE the procedure. This place does it differently. They got all my info including the insurances, and AFTER the first visit they told me that owed them $140 for the first visit and $46 for every visit after. When I asked Why? they said that for both of my insurances they were out of the network. Fine. It happens, I guess. But why would you tell me that AFTER the visit? It's called Unfair Practice. And it is illegal. Yes, I can afford that. And I would even say Yes to it, if they told me that before the procedure, because I was and still am in a lot of pain. But no, I will not come back and pay them a penny more, as I am not going to reward an unethical and even illegal practice. I've paid what they asked for, and now I am filing a legal complaint with the authorities. The doctor was nice, and it's very unfortunate that he is a part of such a scam. Beware.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been seeing Dr. Doug Long for many years, starting with a fall down stairs and now with arthritis in my hip. Every time that I have had an issue, he has always resolved it. Of recent, I have seen his brother, Dr. Michael Long, and he has kept me walking without a cane. I have arthritis in my hip and have avoided surgery to date because of both Dr. Long's. I can't recommend him and the staff highly enough. They are the best!

I have had multiple chiropractor appointments with many chiropractors who have been good, well meaning people but they were unable to fix my problems sufficiently. I heard about Renaissance Chiropractic Center and heard good things about them. So I decided to give them a try and I am so glad I did! This clinic SETS the ATLAS PROPERLY and I have been making so much progress it's a miracle! This after 41 years of misery And I have only been going for 8 months. I am getting into the maintenance phase. I am very happy! All of the Drs are wonderful and the other staff are super! So, if you're tired of not doing well with your Dr, then please, give Renaissance a chance.
