Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Nocera is the best at traction. Anything that didn't adjust with regular methods always gets completely adjusted when he does traction. He really needs to teach a class to fellow The Joint Chiropractors. No one else in many locations I've been to has ever been able to do traction so well. I'm contemplating driving back from GA just to get adjusted properly. It's worth it.
Experiencia negativa: This is an ok place for a basic adjustment. There are two bones in your kneck called the atlas and axis these bones will affect alot of things,hearing,perception, you'll be in constant wierd pain that will radiate,chiropractor will give you temporary relief but it will come back turn into a sizzle eventually. These chiropractors don't adjust these two bones. You have to go to an upper cervical chiropractor the relief you will see is incredible.

In regard to our billing system, our Wellness Plan gives patients 4 adjustments a month for only $79 - our best deal on regular care. Per our membership agreement, your plan has a 2 month minimum that then continues month to month until you request cancellation and turn in the proper form.
All patients who choose to take advantage of one our plans agrees to all terms of the plan in writing before commencement of any billing. Those agreements clearly state how the plan works, how it is billed, our refund policy, and our cancellation policy.

The Joint Chiropractic is a massive chain practice across the country. I get eat used them recently in Virginia Beach where they have multiple offices. The front desk staff was nice. I saw Dr. Eric who has a wonderful bedside manner. After a discussion of my pain and location manipulation of neck and back was performed. Treatment plans can last weeks, so I had no illusion that I would get immediate relief. However, it was very helpful. I appreciate the services provided and no longer a chiropractic doubter. The group offers different plans and a $29 first time patient deal.

As a convenient, walk-in clinic, we do our best to establish proper expectations for everyone who arrives, but need to ensure that we have the proper time to give all patients the thorough care that they deserve.

Experiencia negativa: Update several months later. Sadly the service went downhill after the first couple months. So much so that I’ve cancelled this membership. The once friendly staff was rude and condescending. I won’t be back here. Also drove here Twice only to find they’re closed and the Google and Apple Maps was never updated. Couldn’t get an answer and then someone calls for a missed call and not the message I left. It’s a long drive for me to go out to find it closed. Once is bad but twice in a month is pathetic —Spacious parking in a busy shopping plaza. Once you turn into the plaza, make an immediate right because the entrance is in that area next to a pizza place. You can’t see the sign because the entrance is faced away from the direction coming in. They do have disabled spots in front of the building and the doors are wide enough to accommodate a walker or wheelchair. Tiffany at the front desk was wonderful. She was very helpful throughout the registration process and it was pretty quick. I did not care for the tablet much because I am not used to using the pen and it took longer than with fingers. They do have a paper option if you aren’t able to do the tablet. I met Dr. Wilson and she went over my medical history. The entire process took about an hour from the moment I came in to leave. The adjustment itself was wonderful. She was able to get some key spots that have been nagging me. Membership can be used at any location. They offer a military discount as well! You can pay by the month or per treatment. They do not bill insurance so it’s self pay only. There’s no contract for the membership itself so you can cancel at any time in person at a center to sign the necessary forms. You get 4 adjustments a month for a set price and additional ones are discounted. Unused ones do not roll over. The treatment area is open and communal. There are several tables in the same room so you may be in there with others: there is a private area to speak to the doctor if you need one. Otherwise be prepared to be in the open and dress appropriately. I would go back. I feel like a million bucks today.

Experiencia fantástica: I have always gone to The Joint, regardless of which State I'm living in. But this location is by far my favorite. Tiffany at the front desk is amazing, but Dr. Eric Nocera is the absolute best! Without fail, he can adjust me properly every single visit. He's gentle but extremely efficient. If you're worried about being manhandled but want a proper adjustment, come ask for him!

Experiencia fantástica: I went on Monday, and I'm horrible with names, but I went around 530 ish and the receptionist was very helpful and easy to talk to. I had Dr Wilson, and she was the best. Being a female, a lot of people might think she doesn't have the strength, but you are wrong. She made me Snap , Crackle, and Pop like I was eating Rice Crispy the cereal. I can't wait till I go back again on Thursday. I slept like a baby throughout the night. I'm a Navy veteran with several issues, but just with that 1 time, she has made a difference in my life. I'm from Texas, so I won't be here that much longer, but I'm going to go see her as much as I can. If you are a veteran, they do have a military discount. You will not be disappointed if you see her and the money you spend will be well worth it.

Experiencia negativa: Possible Broken Rib from first visit: I went to The Joint chiropractic on Friday July 19th 2024 for my first visit. I was really looking forward to this, my first chiropractic appointment. I've seen a lot of videos of people in tears because of their first adjustment relieving pain they've had for years. I was very excited that they were going to elevate my neck, upper and lower back, and carpal tunnel pain and numbness that I have been suffering from for years. I showed up and did the extremely painful paper work that they put you through on their tablets, then sat patiently waiting for my turn. People kept coming in and going in front of me to get their adjustment. I finally realized that there was only one doctor working, Doctor Nocera. After I'd been there almost an hour, I heard him tell someone that he had a new patient to see before them. I went back and he asked me a few questions then took my blood pressure before he began. On my very first pop I felt a very sharp pain in my rib cage along with the pop in my back. I didn't say anything thinking this might be normal. This was followed by two more pops on my back then two on my neck followed by "You're all done!" I felt like they wanted me out as soon as possible to get to other people. The next day I realized that the sharp pain in my rib might be a broken rib. "No" I never got it x-ray'ed because I know there is nothing that can be done for it other than time. I also know that I signed my life away in all the paper work they provided. They seem to me to be all about the numbers, they bring you in snap snap snap and get you out as fast as they can. They don't prepare your body with heat or cold treatment prior to it. I will be finding a Chiropractor that will one take insurance and two will not rush me out the door.

Experiencia negativa: So I signed up about 2 months ago with a girl named Tiffany she was great. And when I tried to cancel my services Tiffany became a monster. She refused to cancel my membership before my 2 months. (5.13) Told me I had to pay for another month and I couldn't cancel my membership. I then told her that isn't what was advised when I signed up and I can cancel at any location just as long as I fulfilled my two months obligation in which I did. She became combative and I cussed her out and hung up. I called back and she then preceded to advice I could cancel at High point. Today I tried to go in as advised and she again became combative with the manager from hi high point and hung up on her twice. All I know is I have filed a complaint with corporate and she shouldn't be an employee for the joint as she isn't representing the company in the right way. Much props to high point.

Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment at The Joint. When I arrived for my appointment, the gentleman at the front desk said that he would not be able to see me. He apparently was the chiropractor, as he stated that he didn’t have a receptionist. When I asked him why wasn’t I called and informed that my appointment had been canceled, he said because he was working alone and he was seeing other patients. When I asked again why wasn’t I called instead of letting me drive over only to find out that I wouldn’t be seen, he smugly shrugged his shoulders and kept making excuses about not having a receptionist. After I went to my car, I saw another gentleman enter and he was NOT turned away. I would hate to think that he was seen and not me due to me being black unlike the gentleman he serviced after he turned me away. But, you never know. Unfortunately, I am unable to write a review as it relates to their adjustment skills because of the lack of professionalism and disregard of my time. I rather be adjusted by the absentee receptionist before I allow this smug, arrogant chiropractor anywhere near me. I will spend my money somewhere else. You don’t even deserve the one star that I am forced to give you.

As my first appointment neared, I was more nervous than anything, and the last thing said to me was, Happy Cracking, from a satisfied patron on her way out the door. The first time was absolutely amazing.... relieving me of some lower back pain I've had for years.... and easing tension in my neck and shoulders. Now, about to go in for my 5th or 6th visit, it's something that takes maybe 5 minutes, but the results last days, weeks, etc. This is so worth the money; if you are willing to pay for a pedicure, or for tanning, this is even better. That immediate gratification and relief... lastly, if you feel you need that extra umph to get relief, ask for them to use the towel for traction....

The Dr asked lots of questions that I haven't been asked before but helped with my adjustment. I've had better neck adjustments though. Didn't seem like their strongest area. Went for a second time already, and had a different Dr. He was very speedy with the adjustment and got great pops in my elbows. Although he used the non manual push gun thingy on my shoulders which I feel like doesn't do anything. But he got good movement everywhere else so I'm still really happy with the adjustment. Definitely a different style chiropractic care than I've had before, but by no means was it bad.

Then was charged $45 instead of the $30 for first time because I went to a Joint somewhere else years ago. But what really did it for me was the smug grin I got from the receptionist when she let me know they would be over charging me. Definitely never going back here and neither should you.

Experiencia fantástica: My back has been bothering me for several weeks. I have tried massage, biofreeze, and finally went to the Doctor. They prescribed muscle relaxers and steroids. I was talking to someone about using a TENS unit and then it hit me… I should try the chiropractor! So I googled and The Joint popped up. They were running a $29.00 special so I filled out the form and submitted it. Jasmine called first thing this morning. She scheduled an appointment same day. I explained all that was going on with my back. The Dr. did the alignment on me and I was nervous because I really don’t like the idea of someone cracking my bones. But I could not touch my toes before the alignment and afterwards I could!!!! BIG Win for me!! Jasmine was extremely friendly and patient and extended excellent customer service. They gave me some extra incentives for joining. I had no plan to join but after such a great experience it was a no brainer. Looking forward to my next visit!!!

Each doctor has their own ways of working, but are all great! Dr. Dara Wilson is my favorite. And I want to give a special shoutout to Tiffany at the front desk who is always fun and delightful when I come in. I look forward to more visits in the New Year!

Experiencia fantástica: Front desk representative, Tracy greeted me with a smile today. This was my first time meeting Dr. Nocera (hope I spelled that correctly). He was quick and I left feeling aligned and refreshed. He also gave me some great tips on how I can better my sleeping position. I’ve been trying to break the habit of sleeping on my arm. Overall, great visit!

And, I say in all honesty, I have gotten better care here. I love I can go weekly for less than I paid for any Chiropractic care ever! Have had all the doctors here adjust me, and they all are great!
Experiencia negativa: Let me just start by saying; I have been to multiple joint locations and never had an issue before I came to this location. Tiffany gave me the worst experience. I believe she is someone of higher power there which is very disappointing. She was blatantly racist and disrespectful to my Hispanic family members. When we were speaking our native language (Spanish) to one another; she began rolling her eyes at us. This was very hurtful and disrespectful. I will not be attending this location again.

Experiencia negativa: The Doctors are great, but the people at the front desk like Tiffany lie to you about memberships. I was offered 4 visits for 79 dlls one time payment, coming to find out that I had a 2 months minimum agreement. They give you the tablet to sign electronically knowing that there is no time to read and you believe what they tell you. I went to the office to complain and no one can help you, only corporate, I guess the have no manager at the location and the place runs itself. Now I’m stock with 4 more visits that they made me buy . I don’t recommend this place to no one .

Our Wellness Plan gives patients 4 adjustments a month for only $79 - our best deal on regular care. Per our membership agreement, your plan has a 2 month minimum that then continues month to month until you request cancellation and turn in the proper form.
While we greatly apologize if our wellness coordinator didn't properly communicate our minimum month policy, all patients who choose to take advantage of one of our plans do agree to all terms of the plan in writing before the commencement of any billing. Copies of these agreements, which get taken home with every new member, clearly state how the plan works, how it is billed, our refund policy, and our cancellation policy.
With that being said, we continually strive for great customer service and we will work to ensure that we are being transparent with our plans, which allow us to provide our care for a very discounted rate. Experiencia positiva: At first I had given this place a bad review because I had been speaking with them through cell and message trying to set up a time I got a time and came and was then told I couldn’t because I was a new patient so I wasted my time , come to find out they were having someone from Raleigh answer the phones and that’s where the mishaps came into place and now they have someone at the desk. I finally did get a working time and I immediately felt some relief. Ive now been 3 or 4 times and feeling better I’ve experienced more from the lady who takes great care and ask great questions and once and the man who did good as well.
