Prior to starting with them I had lower back pain almost everyday and couldnt stand for longer than 5-10mins without being in pain and daily migraines and I just turned 31! I had been to physical therapy, tried a back brace, used biofreeze almost daily to numb my back pain just to do normal things, and was taking headache medicine almost daily. I had almost given up. And I refused to be dependent upon meds to get me through the rest of my life. Their ad kept popping up on my Facebook and now just a little over a month later here we are. And since starting here, just after the few adjustments I've had, for the first time in about 2 years I can say that I went out and was on my feet over 8 hours with no back pain, and hadn't complained about a migraine in a month. Experiencia fantástica: UPDATE 11/26/2024 I’m quite sometime in now so I wanted to circle back with an update on my progress. I’m out of my treatment phase and into my wellness phase. During my treatment phase, I would come twice a week to get adjusted and had exercises along with the equipment that the GCH Team provided for home care. The adjustments with the exercises expedited my healing process. After just a couple of weeks, I no longer felt pain and had much more mobility. As time progressed, I was able to go on longer walks with my partner without having to take breaks or am my lower back killing me. In my wellness phase I only come once a week, but I still do home exercises. I feel like it’s like regular maintenance on a car to keep it functioning. I can see that my mobility is retained, and the pain is minor. And time I feel out of work the adjustment usually corrects the issue and I’ll feel less pain the next day. The doctors are good about giving you advice on how to correct things at home when you’re feeling pain, giving you additional stretch, stretches and exercise exercises or just a routine to follow until you feel better. In my opinion, the cost benefit is extremely fair especially if you have an HSA or FSA reserve. They also have several payment plans to fit any budget. Beyond the services, they also are heavily involved in a community running several community service projects like can drives blanket drives, Back to school supplies, Free bonus sessions, fun holiday activities, the list goes on. I still highly recommend GCH, If not even more. Thanks team! ——— I found Gate City Health through a Facebook ad and decided to take advantage of the offer because I had been in pain for awhile (years actually, I had just kinda accepted this was a part of my life). I walked in and was immediately greeted by name (this was my first time ever being there!) I was taken on a tour of the facility to familiarize myself and this was unlike any chriropractic practice I had been to. There was workout-like equipment, people in chairs stretching, a bell (which I learned was for celebrating patients who’s Health improved to the point where they no longer needed medication), and the list goes on. Every employee had a warm smile and was eager to assist patients of all ages (and I mean ALL ages). At one point, the employee touring me around paused to grab her colleague to ensure a patient who was having trouble using some warm up equipment had guidance. You can tell they all genuinely care about their patients and each other. Dr. Preston, along with his assistants, were very intentional about educating me on their philosophy, approach, and science behind what they do. Dr. Preston prioritizes actual solutions over just treatment if symptoms which I’ve been looking for, for over a decade. After my consultation and x-rays, they recommended I start adjustments immediately so they booked me for the first appointment the very next day. Again, from sharing information to the adjustment itself they were very proactive about communicating what was happening and what next steps would be, checking in often to see if I had any questions/nerves/concerns. Later that day, they even sent me a text to see how I was feeling after my adjustment! To sum it up, I’m writing this only after my very second visit to the office — I don’t do reviews often and definitely not this quickly but the Gate City Health team is more than deserving!

I called Gate City Health and explained my situation to Haley. The reason I called GCH was because they offer SOFTWAVE technology which my chiropractor in Ohio uses. Haley was very friendly and went above and beyond to see if she could help. She spoke with Dr. Kevin Apel and he agreed to see me. Dr. Apel did the SOFTWAVE on the portion of my back where the issue was. And, as I knew would happen, softwave made a big difference by relieving my pain. Dr. Apel then showed me some exercises that would help me while I am traveling. I walked out of the office without the pain I had been enduring. Experiencia fantástica: I was having such horrible neck pain on the right side of my neck and after going to Dr Preston for adjustments but now only that but learning about how my body works and how it can heal it self. I can say it really works. I also had terrible sinus problems all my life and now after my neck has been aligned the way it is suppose to be my sinus problems are Gone! Love Gate City Health! Dr Preston and his wife Laura are the best! Now I have done both my knees with the Stem Cell Rejuvenation Shockwave Therapy with Dr Kevin. It really works using your own stem cells no injections! I had a ruptured Bakers Cyst in the back of my right knee that would not heal. One treatment with the Shockwave and the pain and discomfort walking was gone. After all the treatments my knee was like new again. Amazing! Left knee was a different story. Bone on bone pain felt like I had a torn meniscus. After all my treatments I feel and walk like normal. I haven't felt like that in years. It has kept me from having a knee replacement on that left knee. I am so thankful Gate City Health started doing this procedure. What a blessing!

They and their staff are good people. I enjoy every visit. Totally would recommend giving them a try and I sure you will notice a difference.

Experiencia positiva: The only problem I had was they waited to see if my treatment was covered by my insurance until my 3rd visit and turned out it wasn't and now I have to find another chiropractor. They get your hopes up then you're denied by insurance. They need to check on your visit. Very friendly staff though and a nice, clean environment

I have been to quite a few chiropractors over the years and they are by far the best. There's a real feeling of family. Everyone who works there is always upbeat and positive and I leave feeling better both physically and mentally/emotionally every time I go.

From the warm greeting upon entry to the detailed explanation from Dr. Preston Dantoni, D.C., regarding his chiropractic method focusing on correction, not just treating symptoms, my first chiropractic experience was a definite thumbs up. After chiropractic adjustments based on my x-ray results, I made my return trip home to Michigan, walking through 3 different airports, with reduced pain levels.
