ATI Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: I was sent to ATI for hip pain. After a thorough assessment, I was scheduled for therapy twice a week. All the folks working here were excellent. Patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. After 6 weeks of sessions, I am back to normal and have a continuing home regimen to keep me that way. Special thanks to Alyssa, Mike, Bo, and Brayden!

Positive experience: Kind of upset they didn’t offer muscle manipulation, or even heat or ice.

Fantastic experience: Feeling so much better just after a couple of weeks. Therapists are fantastic, the App is an added bonus. It helps keep you on track, answers any questions. Best PT I’ve ever had.

Fantastic experience: They all were amazing from the moment I stepped foot into ATI. They are real people who show care about their patients. They work with all individuals no partiality. Rachel, Justin, Ellie, ShanShan. Worked with me each one different but their ultimate goal “To get me better”. On my last day, I thanked them all and hope they continue to make patients feel welcome and comfortable. Both when they arrive and when they leave. #ATITEAM.

Fantastic experience: ATI is a great PT clinic. Daniel, the clinic director, is very knowledgeable, helpful and professional, as are the other therapists and associates. I highly recommend them, specifically the Plano location on Coit just north of Bush tollway.

Fantastic experience: My husband, George is going to ATI two times a week to work on his reverse shoulder replacement. He says the staff is great and his therapist. Alyssa works with him to improve mobility, flexibility, and strength. He says he gives ATI five stars across the board.

Fantastic experience: Rebecca really cares about her patients. She really tries to help you without too much pain and torture. I went there so they can help me get my new knee in shape but because I’m having a lot of back pain probably because of the new knee she is also trying to help me get rid of my back pain at the same time so I can work on my knee.

Positive experience: Well...there seems to be a person there in charge.... first name Mike.... that tried to push me hard...and then seemed to be rather angry...not good..one of the older women asked him if he was mad at her...? Not Good....'

Fantastic experience: This is my second time going to them. Once for a broken wrist and now for a torn meniscus. Both times the relief I felt was within the first week!

Fantastic experience: On January 6, 2025 I had a right knee replacement. It was the most extensive surgery I’ve ever had in my entire life and it was painful. When I was finally released from my in-home physical therapy, I was able to start outside therapy, which I was very excited about. I set up an appointment with ATI and start my therapy that day. I have graduated. Now saying that I’ve graduated it means a lot I do the exercises I walk and I feeling so much better. I was able to work with everyone there at ATI and they were all wonderful and helpful and just a great staff to work with. I recommend ATI for any of your physical therapy. They are courteous and professional, they listen to all of our stories. They’re just all around wonderful people to work with. Thank you, ATI!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: The therapists take the time to listen to what’s hurting and develop a plan to focus on getting better at a reasonable pace. The exercises they gave me to do at home continue to help my condition improve. Their positive energy and support makes for a fun experience in the midst of a painful ailment.

Fantastic experience: Awesome staff awesome place for therapy. I had tendon transfer surgery and needed help recovering. I had tried other places with only disappointment until I came here.

Fantastic experience: Wigwam location Henderson literally jump started my knee soon after ACL/meniscus surgery! Mike and EVERYONE there helped me beyond belief, too many to even name. Thank you sincerely from my whole family, but especially myself.

Fantastic experience: Physical therapists were very experienced and knew what you needed to work out on. And were very courteous.

Negative experience: Therapist was not very helpful, when I asked if I was doing an exercise wrong I was told it doesn't matter, I said it does because i want to do what I'm told correctly to get better. Almspt seemed like she was irritable from being overworked not sure just by observation. She didn't seem to care about anything I said. Once done I was told to come 2x per week but my second pt session was escheduled out 21 days due to over booking. The front desk literally said can we triple book? Like a haha to coworker and she said no we are already double booked etc. I said we'll that doesn't work ill just go someplace else. Was told let's just book the date and we will call over to other location on green valley to get u in. Never happened and was in limbo so went back to my doctor after waiting 10 days. He got me set up properly with another location as well as a home program (one that works) wouldn't recommend ATI to anyone. No need to follow up, you failed horribly ATI. Shame

Positive experience: Short wait (but I was early) and this AM I got a therapist that was soley concentrated on me, so the exercises were well-explained and they were nearby should I have any questions. (Only issue is that this is not always the case.) Had a good workout under pleasant conditions.

Positive experience: Seemingly very good. Strong staff, lots of enthusiasm and equipment. I only gave a 4 since I just recently started and will await the results for more. If I can update then, I will.

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with the progress that I have made with the help of the ATI hand therapy team!!! I am grateful for their kindness, guidance and support! They are a great team! The location is clean, organized and has a beautiful view.

Fantastic experience: This is my second visit. My first was a neck pain in 2023, the pain has never come back. I’m getting treatment for my shoulder which is already feeling better. Good job!

Negative experience: No follow up from facility. I changed insurance carrier Nov. 1st, 2024. Had to cancel my upcoming appointments waiting for new referrals. Was told ATI would let me know when I could reschedule. No calls to date, 11/22/24. No treatments done. None scheduled. No one seems to care. I will again call Intermountain, myself to see what us going on. Was told no co pay when I scheduled my consult appointment under Humana Gold. Then I was notified of a bill, after the consult was done. No one knows correct info and just wings it apparently. Not happy.

Fantastic experience: Nice facility. Been there four times and is called in just a few minutes after I arrive which is a plus. Michael is very knowledgeable. My treatment is slowly but surely progressing.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy going to therapy because everybody is so kind so patient everybody goes out of their way to help everybody it's very clean and I can't say enough positive things about your location and the people that work for you please never change you help so many people this way

Fantastic experience: I have visited 3 times so far and I am very happy. Cat and Matt have been friendly, knowledgable, and make the visit enjoyable. I have not had to wait at any of my visits so they seem to have the schedules pretty timely. Overall I am quite pleased, which is good, as I have many appts ahead.

Negative experience: I've been coming here for a couple of weeks for pinched nerves. The therapists are very nice and helpful, and I'm hoping that my problem will be resolved by the end of my sessions! ***This is an edit to my original review*** When I went in to ATI for a pinched nerve, I was told at the front desk that I was approved for 6 sessions through my insurance. My co-pay was $10 per visit, which I paid at the beginning of each session. A few months later, I started receiving several bills from ATI in excess of $600. I called my insurance and was told that ATI did not make any request to the insurance company, therefore the coverage for my therapy is denied. My insurance told me to talk to ATI again and ask them to submit for a retro request to get a post approval, then they will (insurance) cover my bill. I called ATI again and explained, and they flat out refused to help me. Never again will I be doing business with ATI PHYSICAL THERAPY. They are very deceptive and are liars, and don't care about their patients and lie to take your money.

Positive experience: I chose this location becuse they have appointments available on Saturdays which I needed due to my work schedule. I went in two times a week for 3 months due to a Trimallerlor fracture that I incured while playing pickleball, which resulted in surgery & non weight bearing for almost 3 months. Yaro was great! He would take the time to put an ice compression on my ankle & make sure everything was good. He is personable & listened to any concerns I had & answered to the best of his ability, too bad he won't be there for much longer. I hope ATI knows they are losing a great therapist! At my intial consultsation I saw Mark, who is a good thereapist but not very personable. I really like Mike he was more aggressive with his approach, I appreciated that since my goal was to get moving & stengthen my ankle & gain flexabilty, he also tries to get to know the patient. Logan is a friendly face & would always greet anyone he saw enter the facility & chat to enquire how I was. Braeden & Jess were good with helping me with any equipment that I needed & would sanitize equipment after someone used it. I deducted a star due to the fact that ATI cancelled 2 of my appointments the morning of my scheduled appointments via Text message & without a direct phone number to reschedule. If your going to cancel on a patient you should at least call in person so the patient can reschedule at that time. Cancelling via Text is ridiculous! I was on crutches, scheduled PTO & had to pre-arrange rides so I couldn't just reschedule the morning of. Luckily I had the direct local phone number on a paper I took a photo of & when I called they got me in with Mike & Karissa, who I enjoyed working with. Thank you to great team & good luck Yaro!!

Positive experience: I like being at this place. They're very friendly. Good service. They got me in quick. The physical therapists work with you.

Fantastic experience: Very nice facility! I never had to wait and the physical therapist were kind and also seemed happy to be there. Michael was excellent! He took time and explained my injury and treatment. He spent time giving me various treatments and made me feel like he had time for just me. The facility is very busy so that is difficult to accomplish. Kudos to the staff at ATI on Stephanie.

Fantastic experience: I have had 3 visits to ATI gor shoulder therapy. First with Mike and then Bryan, both ohysical therapists. They are thorough and friendly. While doing the different stretches, I can feel the push-pull on the shoulder. It helps. I hope that when therapy is over, my shoulder doesn't hurt.

Fantastic experience: My experience with ATI thus far has been extremely pleasurable. Dr Mike is very aware and considerate of those that he administers to. The staff has been extremely competent. Specifically Brayden and Logan Stand out to me.

Negative experience: Easy to get appointments, very friendly staff.not easy to get appointment. First week no second week one time third week two times. This does not help much when uns. Will pay and Dr. Says three weeks

Fantastic experience: The crew at ATI are great theystart on time they are very thorough and always explain why and what we are doing. So far so good a little discomfort which I expected.

Fantastic experience: Brian is the coordinator for me. He is very easy and fun to talk with. I like the techs that show me how to start the different exercises. They show patience with me because I don’t always remember the specifics from one time to the next. Feels like I am making progress. Sure hope so!

Negative experience: I’ve been attending the Wigman and Stephanie location for hand therapy about six weeks. On my recent visit as I checked in I was greeted by Karissa. She was alone at the desk. It went sour from the moment I said “hello.” She said she didn’t see an appointment for me and I assured her I had one and had a text to verify. My thought was she may be new, as I hadn’t seen her on my prior appointments. She went on to say I owe for past appointments and the amount was $$$$. I was taken aback and asked “why?” I knew it was covered because it was all confirmed from day one. She said “because you don’t have insurance!” It was said as if I had done something wrong or as if I was trying to get away with something. Anyone that’s been to ATI knows that a doctor will not recommend ATI unless you have insurance and when you’re making an appointment for the first time on the phone with ATI, the first thing they ask is what is the name of your Insurance? I explained to her that my information had not only been taken at the front desk on my first visit, but a copy was made of my drivers license and insurance card and if the office didn’t have it, then who did? Meanwhile, Logan, whom I am familiar with, joined her at the desk, saw that it was taking a minute to check me in, took over and said “you’re good Mxxxx.” I presumed once they did their research it would get straightened out. I was sitting at the table starting my heat therapy on my hand when Mike and Karissa were heading towards me, when Mike said “make sure you get a payment before she leaves today” and walked away. Karissa came up to me and said “because you don’t have insurance you owe $$$$ and you need to pay that today before you leave!” A couple of things happened at this point, the amount went up from what she quoted at the desk AND, because it was said rudely and loud it caught the attention of the nine other patients sitting at the tables. I was not only embarrassed, but humiliated and now my private information, incorrect as it was, was now out there in front of everyone. I knew it was all a mistake and it would get cleared up, however, the way it was handled by Mike and Karissa was unprofessional and I believe HIPA LAW was not respected. I know HIPAA law is for medical information and not necessarily billing information But the way I see it, NONE of it should be exposed OR DISCUSSED on the floor in front of other patients or ATI employees. After my appointment I made all the necessary calls, yes, it was a mistake which I knew, however, my issue at this point was not the bill that Karissa made a point of sharing in front of patients and staff, but rather how rudely Mike and Karissa handled the situation. In the end Mike called me, and honestly I didn’t get an appropriate response. He said he would speak with his staff but my issue was NOT all of the staff, just he and Karissa. I have four more weeks at this office, and yes I’m staying with the same office. This may sound like a back handed compliment, no pun intended, but I highly recommend Kat and her team along with Logan and Anna at the front desk. I’m also thankful Dr. Williams referred me to that location…..just make sure when a bill needs to be discussed, it’s not with Mike and Karissa!

Fantastic experience: Mike and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and hands on to work on my knee to loosen tightness and encourage it to be more mobile especially going through exercises. I really appreciate their concern for my ability to have the best mobility possible after a Total Knee Replacement. I also appreciate the front desk staff with their friendly personalities and helpfulness in scheduling my appts. Fantastic experience: My doctor sent me to ATI for physical therapy. I didn't think it would help but I still went anyways. The very first day of therapy I came home and realize my pain had subsided. I became believer that this therapy really works. I've only gone 3 times so far but since then I can move more freely. I've been able to sleep better etc. The staff is friendly and I won't stop going until they kick me out. If you don't believe, give it a try. My name is Ana and I'm now a believer of physical therapy.

Positive experience: I wish the employees wore name tags. When I go in for occupational therapy, the workers are not personable- the main woman is though! I’ve only been twice and it seems like expected to know what to do and don’t check in after every activity- I’m not sure if I’m still doing the same thing as last time.

Fantastic experience: The idea of therapy, was to my knowledge never an exciting proposition, but rather a necessary evil. Something one must do for a return to normal life.
